✓ No adds but lazy engineI was very excited to play a game with no adds, and the custom building aspect of the game is well done, however I am very disappointed in the fact that the only way to progress the game is by playing candy crush. I don’t know why so many games choose this engine as it has to be one of the most mind numbing games ever. Its a custom car game and there is nothing dealing with cars/driving/racing that gives you the necessary rewards to continue the customization. On top that, its the same manipulative sequencing used to purposefully make the game harder (ie when trying to set up 5 in a row so you focus on the row/column for the middle piece to match and they send 20 in a row that aren’t that color, like come on) and its not even what I want to be playing the game for. ✓ This game is a scamThis game is a stupid scam, when I got to the second mission, I ran out of moves so I used my crystals to buy more moves and then the next time I tried to get more moves, I had ran out of crystals and it said I needed to spend money to continue, so now I can’t play it anymore, after I saw that this glitch had happened I deleted the game straight away, actually a really good, fun game , until you can’t play until you spend money. ✓ Ok game, but not like the addsSo as a whole the game is ok. The adverts show it as a buy, fix and sell cars, but it’s not. There’s a story line to it and you need to play bubble pop style mini games to progress in the game. The graphics are cartoony but suit the style of the game. ✓ Cash grabThe gameplay itself is intriguing and engaging. Plenty of new challenges, power-ups, introduction of new gameplay elements. It’s a good match-3. User interface is clean, easy to navigate and the added story of tuning up cars is a refreshing addition to a match-3. Sadly it looses its footing when it comes to around the 3rd 4th car mark. At this point levels are incredibly harder and the game almost indefinitely relies on the player to pump money into micro transaction to clear levels. There’s no other way to gain boosters etc other than paying once the free ones have been used. ✓ Really good but needs some tweaking!Really loving this game, it so much fun and getting rewards to do up cars is such a great idea, but my issue is that you get to a certain level ( for me 129 ) and you’ve got not enough gems, not enough money to put towards car parts and the level is near enough impossible to complete without any support from power ups which you can only get fro winning levels? So unless I somehow beat this “super hard level” without the needed power ups you get from winning the levels I physically can’t do anything. This is just a very basic copy of candy crush with cars done up bit by bit. ✓ Same problem as others haveThis is a game that starts off fun, but soon descends into a frustrating experience where you spend literally days trying to clear one level. The problem is, you only get rewards if you complete the level, which means if you fail to clear the level you’re completely stuck unless you want to go down the rabbit hole of paying. This is something I rarely do with games (although I’ll watch as many ads as you want to throw at me). Here’s my suggestion. If you still gained reduced rewards (e.g., gems) for part-clearing the level before you inevitably run out of moves, then eventually you’ll have enough to ‘buy’ extra moves. I’ve been stuck on level 268 for several days now (I think about a week?), a couple of times I’ve got down to one tire, but without enough gems to clear the level I’m stuck. ✓ Fix this gameI just wrote a massive, well articulated review but it just so happened to delete itself, so here is my angry summary. Nerf the extremely difficult levels, since needing 2-3 days to complete a level removes every ounce of fun from this game, make the time waiting for lives shorter, or provide a way for us to be rewarded with lives (watching an ad), and increase the reward for completing levels as you progress through the game. Also, it’s pretty odd that we don’t get paid by the customer for completing their build. ✓ Gets extremely frustratingSo the game itself is great , I love match 3 games and the designing side of it too. However the longer you play this game the harder it gets which wouldn’t normally be an issue but the levels I’m on now are getting impossible to do and unenjoyable . I don’t see the point in getting any diamonds because they take days to build up and then there gone in a second because you have to pay 900 diamonds to do things we should get more for completing levels . Im on level 585 and it’s literally impossible to complete , you don’t get barely any boosts to help you and not enough moves which is the same for a lot of levels and when you do get boosts they don’t go off where you need them too or don’t take enough off the board for you . When you need to remove the wooden block things and get carpet and multiple of other things but you only have 19 moves it’s so hard and unenjoyable , sometimes I can be on the same level for days because it’s just too difficult, i went from doing 10 levels in a row to may 2 levels every couple of days it’s so annoying , why make games extremely easy at the start then make them impossible half way through ? ✓ Chrome Valley game impossible to win.You don’t want us to win your puzzles. If you gave more moves added mor bombs and didn’t make the puzzles impossible to complete you would get more players. I think you have a good idea in your game. I like remodeling and restoring the vehicles but in order to do that the player must win the puzzles. When the puzzles are to impossible to win you lose your followers. I’m not going to pay money to play your game. I’ve been caught up in games like yours before and spent 100’s of dollars trying to win with nothing to show for your game in the end. ✓ Good until it’s notI never review things but I was really enjoying the game until lvl 514. Now I’m stuck on a super hard lvl that I’ll probably never beat. The starting power ups are pointless as it’s a very small starting area. I think you have around 18 moves to clear 2 chests of 36 wrenches and 2 doors requiring 20 blue and green matches to reveal 40 cones you have to get rid of along with 52 bottles but only 8 dispensers and you have to collect 30 tapes before most of the lvl opens. Everything is in awkward places. Without gems to continue I’m pretty sure it’s impossible. I know I’ve tried at least 50 times which is more than enough to get lucky (or at least it has been). Maybe give a daily bonus or some way to get gems without paying or beating lvls. Even if it took a month to get a continue it would be better than nothing. ✓ Thanks and RequestsThis game is fabulous in so many ways that enthusiasts can appreciate about the car builds and gameplay. I’m happy to play the puzzles as many times as I need to, but without spending actual money I wish the levels were easier throughout. Once you get to level 125 and higher they are so hard to complete and with very little booster help, that I just want to quit and go play Alchemy 2 or Baseball9. And the simple levels reward as many coins as the super hard levels. If it were easier to pass levels I’d play this game nonstop. Either make all levels easily passable or at least make the harder levels worth more coins. The Telesto, for example, has so many parts and they are way more expensive than the Colt. So I only try to pass the Telesto level once per day and use up my lives. Discouraging. Also, I’d like to echo what user JusDaShiznit said. Those are great ideas for the garage I love the effort put into mimicking the OEM vehicles without using their actual names so the game can stay free of ads and licensing. ✓ Super fun then throws impossible levels at you to try and get money.Game is moderately enjoyable except once you get past level 100+ you’ll randomly get levels that are borderline impossible regardless of being labeled “super hard”. ✓ Too hard without buying power-upsI initially had a fun time completing the puzzles and customizing the cars, so much so that I I initially gave a 5 stars. This however is long over. I am on the third car into the game and the prices for parts are double even triple what the original two cars were to upgrade. This makes it so you have to play multiple puzzles for one car part. This in itself is fine however, the levels that are considered very hard only give 10-12 spots for initial power ups and even if you’ve finished three puzzles in a row to get the engine to max so that you can start with some boosts, they are pretty much useless because it’s only going to clear a small amount of the board. After that though the rest of the pieces are just impossible to match and clear the level with a ton of different things that need to be collected. They make it so you have to use the power ups such as the saw, hammer, jack, and dice. Unfortunately this is a way they can make you buy upgrades because you can’t skip the level to go back to a normal layout. The power ups on offer come your way infrequently and your five lives disappear very quickly if you get stuck. ✓ Frustrating unless you spend moneyHonestly, I was really excited to start this game. It seemed fun and relaxing, and the premise was interesting to me as someone who likes cars. At first, it was pretty easy and fun to progress where I only needed to use power-ups a couple time to beat hard levels. However, I have now reached level 118 and have a number of issues with the game. The first is that I genuinely believe this level is impossible unless you spend real money on getting power-ups. Even on attempts where I have been extremely lucky with the way the pieces have matched, I have never been close to completing it without the help of multiple power-ups. Additionally, the only way to progress the storyline of the game is to complete the matching levels, but you need to complete at least two or three before you can do any of the tasks, which is my second issue with it. The upgrades on the cars are so expensive with the in-game currency that it's hard to get through a job, and I'm only a few jobs in, so I've barely progressed the storyline at all. ✓ PotentialIve always been a big fan of these types of puzzle games. And that combined with my love for cars I thought this game would be a knockout. As any typical puzzle game the first 50 levels you’ll blow through with ease. I saw it recommended on the “games were playing” section on the App Store, and thought I might give it a shot. However some levels are unnecessarily difficult, I understand having the challenge of hard levels as otherwise the game loses interest factor, but levels such as 129 where youre left sometimes with 60+ of the objectives when you run out of moves is super disheartening and feels completely impossible. This kind of level clearly relies on luck to get a perfect layout of power ups if you want to do it without purchasing extras, and is so obviously a place the developers want you to buy power ups/gems for real money to progress. In my opinion you should add in a way to get power ups, gems, moves and lives using ads, and balance levels more fairly, or else you’ll lose players who would have progressed further. ✓ Fun concept but oppressive game mechanicsThere are lots that are good about this game. The design, characters and storyline all amazing. It makes an interesting change to a standard match four game. The problem comes to unfair level design or stingy delivery of power ups. Power ups only appear to be provided at the end of a car restoration (normally every 20-30 levels at least) or at gem costs that might cost 200 levels worth of rewards. Flaws - When you get double rewards “not all the rewards are doubled” only a select rewards/s are doubled. When you complete a level the green diamonds you accumulate to use in game to help get further don’t always add up, more times than not you get short 3-5 diamonds. Not a big deal I guess but you use those to purchase in game rewards and lives plus the only other way you can get these is through in app purchases. ✓ Starts off goodThis game appeared to be just as advertised at the start. It was fun, the game challenges fair and good story lines. As expected, the game challenges got more difficult with each car completion. When I got to the 5th car, things got ridiculous. The challenges (rated easy, hard and super hard) were mostly “super hard” levels and the only way to beat them was to “purchase” the help items, which were used up quickly and required spending more money to continue playing. All of this without making much headway in completing the car or progressing the game. I understand the need and desire for getting paid to develop game apps, especially one without ads. However, this game is way too expensive (for a “free” app) and not worth the cost. I would suggest adding an ad option for those without deep pockets. Players who don’t mind paying cash to play will have the same game and those who don't can opt for ads to continue playing. ✓ Difficulty ramps up quickly and becomes unplayableFirstly, this isn’t really a car resto game. It’s a match-3 game with a resto theme. That said, the restoration process is an enjoyable medium and the game looks slick. Unfortunately, the difficulty of the match-3 games ramps up quickly, to the point of removing all the enjoyment from the game, as it says in many other reviews. While the devs say the levels are all achievable without paying, after the first couple of levels the number of attempts required (and a lot of good luck) make the process utterly frustrating and remove all enjoyment from the game. I’ve made it as far as level 6 but I have had to spend some money to get that far and, even with spending, some of the puzzles took hours to complete, which just isn’t fun. Also, removing the ‘supercharger’ power-up bonus when you fail to complete a level just makes it even harder, reducing the chance of completing. You also need to complete several puzzles to earn enough coins for a single resto process. Would be better to have 1 puzzle give enough coins for the next step in the process. Once a car is finished the owner of the vehicle pays you a whopping $250 which isn’t enough to purchase one part for the next car. ✓ Could be a great game.I get it. They make these games to make money. Unfortunately it removes a lot of the fun and playability. You will get a couple restoration projects in and start getting a lot of what they label “hard” or “very hard” levels. If you don’t have the power ups it’s going to make them near impossible to complete until you randomly get lucky and it gives you the level so you’ll end up just running out of tries and not be able to play till they build back up. ✓ Needs improvingI do like this game and enjoy playing it but there are a few points to mention. First and foremost there are no bonuses of any kind so when you lose on a level you start again with no extra upgrades and you lose the supercharger that took 3 levels to gain. When you start a new day there should be a daily bonus to get some of the supercharger mods to help with the over the top difficulty levels which there are a lot of. The rewards for winning each level stay the same no matter what and as the levels get difficult the rewards should increase but they don’t. ✓ I want to love it, but it’s still a mobile game.I love the concept of this game and the story is cool (though a bit cringe at times,) however you can clearly tell the designers put little thought into how you beat the later levels without power ups. I’m on level 183, and you can clearly tell this level and others are dependent on you getting multiple level ups and combining them. If you don’t, you will not beat the levels. You can start with them if you get on a streak, however not beating a level on your first try removes the streak. Of course, once you’re going to lose the level and your streak a screen pops up offering you 5 more moves at the price of gems, the currency you can purchase with micro-transactions. But don’t worry! You can start the next level with power ups, once you pay more gems of course. You also get ONE life every THIRTY MINUTES(!!) which is ridiculous considering most harder levels are dependent on getting lucky with power ups. ✓ LevelsPretty cool game which I have enjoyed. However I have found that some levels cannot be beaten without power ups or buying extra moves. I am currently stuck on Level 108, as the level itself isn’t giving me enough pieces to form power ups to destroy the hood ornaments. While the Devs have said “all levels are created so they can be beaten without spending money” - it’s true for maybe 90% of them. There are quite a few I can’t get past without spending real money to buy gems and get extra moves. I have also found that the cars get more and more expensive to restore (which is fair enough, but why don’t the levels give me more coins to compensate?) - why am I paying 350 coins to apply soap then 150 to wash the car directly after? Or 850 coins to install doors when it cost 400 to fix a chassis? It doesn’t make sense. The levels need to start giving you more coins/gems for completing them the higher you get. Why do I get 300 coins for completing level 1, and still get the same amount for level 108? That doesn’t make sense to me. There needs to be another way to make money in the game, or at least the bonus for finishing an episode needs to be a lot higher. The matching game is how you earn coins to restore the car and you’ll spend a good 70% of your time doing this. Once you’ve played for a bit, the matching games become nearly impossible to complete without luck and a lot of the “special” blocks available through either matching in specific patterns or keeping up a win streak. Once you lose a game you can use their paid currency (gems) to keep going but it costs a lot more than you make. At that point you will need sheer luck to complete a level without paying for more special blocks or powerups and it’s an endless cycle of getting bad luck in a game and the next one taking much longer to complete. ✓ Cool at firstIt was alright at first. The building the car was cool and it has the match three puzzles to get coins in order to complete the different tasks to complete the car. There is a story line but you can skip it or click through it fast. By the second car the match three puzzles are more tough to beat and you end up needing a lot of gems to buy more turns in order to complete the puzzle. It’s like 900+ gems for five more tries. If you don’t beat it that amount doubles for five more tries. Thing is you only get maybe 30-40 gems when you do beat a puzzle so if you want to continue the game you either start the puzzle over or break out the real cash for some gems. About half way through the third car the puzzle was pretty tough for me so after several tries and only about 500 gems, well below the 900 or so needed to continue the puzzle, I deleted the game. So even though I was disappointed, I overlooked this because of how fun the car restoration aspect was. ✓ Fun until you get to higher levels.Downloaded the game after seeing an ad which of course the game is nothing like the ad displayed. But after still getting hooked into playing, a lot of the earlier levels were easy and quickly made it into the hundreds levels. But once you get to higher levels the enjoyment of the game kinda goes away. You can use all lives multiple times within days and not be able to beat some of the levels. Some levels require the specials to finish and the game’s algorithms for piece generations makes it so you don’t get those. To many times the game will screw tou and go “oh your out of lives but pay and we will give you more to beat it with 1 move”. Believe the algorithm intently does this. Then after restarting the level you spend 30 lives and never get close to beating. This seems like a pattern the game does. It makes you angry at the game rather then enjoying it. Other games like this does the same thing but after using 10 life’s you might be able to complete the level. But this game I don’t know how many levels I have had issues on. Another thing is the constant, do you want to spend to add lives. ✓ FrustratingI appear to be having a similar experience to many of the other reviewers, the game started off as a bit of fun but the balance in the game has now become more frustrating than it is fun. Trying to complete levels which even with power ups at times seems impossible, for example, how are you supposed to unlock an area in time to complete the rest of the level, when you only get to see enough of the coloured piece you’ve got to match after using 80 percent of your moves for the whole level. And even if it is possible to do it with power ups, there isn’t enough opportunity to earn them, so you have to use your gems to get them and money to buy gems. It’s a real shame, because I really enjoy the story and car building aspect, but with the difficulty of levels, that really limits the enjoyment. The match 3 puzzles are fine. They are fairly typical and are reasonably fun and a good time passer. But you have to do the puzzles too earn coins to fix/customize the cars, which is the part I want to do, and the puzzles get harder and harder and the cars more and more expensive to fix. Puzzles get more and more complicated to the point where luck and smarts alone won’t get you past some levels. It is too bad because if advancement was dependent on a few bucks a month, it would actually be worth it, but the tasks become repetitive and increasingly more and expensive. There are NO ADS, but I would have clicked on an ad or two to keep playing. If you want to have a lot of fun for the day, the resources will get you through about 3 cars to rebuild. The story lines are juvenile and a waste of story line. One lady wants her car rebuilt she got in a divorce. WHAT? Why do I need to think about people getting divorced while I’m playing a game. Again, very worth it until you need to spend money, which is about a day’s worth of play time. ✓ Piss-Poor Level DesignThe concept of this game is spectacular, as it is just a fun and simple car mechanic game. The story is intriguing and the character dialogue is rather funny at times. The design in terms of the style of the game is cool as well. However, the same can not be said about the level design. From levels 1-100 the design is challenging, however in a good way. It’s only after level 100 when the design begins to become ridiculous. The amount of moves required in order to complete such levels is unreasonable with everything that you have to do (eg. The metal things you can only get rid of using a special tile like a rocket, fan or bomb - the dials are useless surrounding this game mechanic). While the game does provide boosters and engines in order to help the player get through the normal, hard and super hard levels following level 100, attempting to get past these levels without using these things is a chore. Many other players have reported such things in their own reviews, indicating that the general consensus is that while the game is good, the expectations placed on the player can be far-fetched. I do hope that you take this feedback into consideration when updating the game. The game concept itself is fun however the actual levels you play to get coins are particularly at higher levels just ridiculous in that the level coin rewards don’t scale at all. ✓ Good game up to a pointWas really enjoying the game until I got to the hard levels that are obviously there to get you to pay a little money. They aren’t impossible to do but skill has no bearing on getting through them. Patience and luck are what you need. ✓ In the gameThe idea and simplicity is great. My only complaint so far for an aged player is the finer details are hard to see. I wear glasses and in some areas like engine and dash it could be a little larger. It could be my phone but the sound of the car when finished would be good too. ✓ Ramps up difficulty too quicklyGood idea with a concept that makes you want to keep moving through the story, but the difficulty ramps up to quite a ridiculous degree to get you to spend. Better off with other titles that have clearly come from the same framework like lilys garden or penny & flo which are a bit fairer on the player. ✓ Sets you up to fail almost immediately!The game starts easily allowing you to win sufficient coins to complete the first two cars, but then becomes impossibly difficult forcing you to sometimes play for days for just a few coins, making the game frustrating and the actual car restoration part of the game completely unplayable. Clearly this is done with the intent to make you purchase/pay for gameplay options, which is very poor form by the creators at such an early stage of the game.
