✓ Bad mechanicsI’m so glad I didn’t waste money to buy this game. The mechanics are horrendous. Your shield dissipates every turn while the antagonists keep their shields and attack making it unplayable. Reminds me of when they changed hearthstone..ChristafaaaVersion: 1.01

✓ No controller supportI’m surprised that a game available on Xbox doesn’t have controller support on iOS. The actual game is amazing; however, touch screen on the phone makes it very hard to play. Often times the wrong card is played or I’m unable to choose another card because the touch controls are too hard to use. ✓ Layout design ruins itLoved this game on Xbox but on the iOS version you can’t see the full values of your cards before playing - it makes it incredibly fiddly having to “lift” the cards up to see the detail. ✓ Horribly unbalanced gameThe cards and mechanics are great, but the enemies are overpowered and healing is rare to impossible. The randomness of encounters and enemy attacks ruins this game. Decks disappear after every failed run and you start literally from scratch with the only benefit being unlocked cards that still don’t help against 300 hp enemies that hit an 88 hp character for 30 and 40 damage. ✓ Entertaining but vastly unbalancedLet me start by saying this game has a lot to love. The differing play styles, the artwork, and even the music are wonderful. The relics and cards are both varied and unique enough that while you'll certainly develop favorites, you'll rarely be disappointed with your options. All that said, the game is unbalanced even for an RNG/roguelike system. Quite simply your character seems to scale at half the rate of everything else in this game. By the time you reach the the end of act 3, there is very little that cannot one shot you. Strategy can only take you so far when enemies can soak more damage than you can deal and deal more than you can take in a single turn. Getting to act 4 is possible, but only serves to accentuate this point. Additionally, the finicky controls mean that every now and again you'll okay a card you didn't intend to play. Either because you failed to tap in exactly the right spot, or more commonly because your finger was in the wrong place when your turn started and the game automatically plays that card for you. ✓ It’s addicting as equally frustratingI have literally only one draw back with this game. I have played it solid for about two weeks now maybe a little more . Close to everything unlocked that can be with out clearing the spire once . The last character is locked behind completion of the spire which is pretty understandable. The rogue element is unforgiving to say the least which isn’t inherently a bad thing . My complaint if I have to put it into a sentence. 3 weeks of play all cards unlocked and I can’t even sniff the top part of the 3rd level yet alone the boss. Balancing would be my suggestion I’m just not sure how . Even though I went on a rant there a little bit . In every other way you’d judge a video game let alone a mobile game this one honestly knocks it out of the park 🔥.LockonredVersion: 1.02
