✓ Great game - but I need to report an ongoing bug i’ve had since downloading.I love playing this game and highly recommend it, but every time i fish in the game, if i catch more than like 3-4 fish, then the next fish i catch the “reeling in” sound will play continuously even when not fishing. i have tried going to bed and it still plays during the income screen and will be playing the next morning. i have tried exiting to title and it will still play. i have to completely exit out of the game, and swipe it out of my open apps to then reopen it for the sound to finally not play. it is extremely aggravating especially when it happens during the beginning of a day i want to save so i have to listen to it until i can go to bed to save and close the app. i do not know where else/how to report this so hopefully these actually get read by concerned ape and they can patch this in the next update!.Version: 1.5.6.46

When starting the game, you choose your own name, character, favourite thing, and the location and name of your farm, allowing players to choose their own adventure. Eric Barone spent four years teaching himself game development to produce Stardew Valley’s music, art, and design. Barone was the sole developer and built the game on Visual Studio from scratch. His dedication and perseverance was detrimental to the games success. The pixel art style is bright, nostalgic, and reminds players of earlier games, but now with more functionality. Once you’ve chosen your path, you’re explained by Grandpa that he has left you a letter to open when you feel like you need a change in your life. Fast forward to your typical 9-5 office job; you open the letter, revealing that he has left you the directions to his old farm, now to your own discretion. Lewis, the town mayor, welcomes you upon your arrival and shows you the way of your new life. Your new life includes farming, social relationships, mining, fishing, and exploring the world around you. As you progress, you’re given new tasks and missions to complete. There is also a multiplayer option, if you would like to experience the farm life with others. You can go into town, speak with NPC’s and build relationships with them by chatting and giving them gifts. To make some income and make the farm your own, you may clear it of it’s overgrown nature and grow your own crops. Stardew Valley is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a laid back and relaxed way to play. However, if you’re looking for a game with PvP, thrill, and endless adventure, this is not the game for you. Although there is fighting of the environment and many things to accomplish, you will have eventually completed every commodation to perfection. The game will not stop you, but there is no further way to progress. Unfortunately, Stardew Valley can begin to feel repetitive. Wake up, water your crops, fish, mine, and complete tasks for the NPC’s. You can unlock new areas or start a new game in a different location if you start to feel bored. However, in this new location you will do the same thing you did before, but now in a different map. Once you feel like your farm is at the best it can be, and you’ve completed every task in the game, you’ve done all you can do. Overall, Stardew Valley is a great game. You can spend time with your friends creating your own little world. The adorable game can easily be accessed due to its accessibility across many gaming services and low attention requirements. ✓ Excellent gameI really enjoy this game. I’ve played a lot of farming sims and this game definitely puts them to shame. Granted there’s no equipment or anything like Farming Simulator for instance but you’re not farming on that grand of a scale. You have to manage what land you have and make the most of it. I love all of the extra features like making friends, mining, fishing, panning and restoring the community center. I’ve been playing this game for about two months now and it still gets my full gaming attention every day. I’m still very captivated with this game. ✓ Can’t listen to my music❓NOTHING THAT I DISLIKE ABOUT THE GAME ITSELF!! Its a great game and I enjoy it VERY VERYYY MUCH!! Its amazing💗 very fun and i am SOO close to getting married to Sam😁 anyway the issue im having is that when im listening to my own music and then try to open the app, the title screen goes black and doesn’t change at all, or if it does it just stays like that. Im not sure why that is but if you guys made it to where i am able to listen to music while playing OR just turn off my music and not freeze, that would be amazing. ✓ Great GameGreat game overall, my first experience with stardew valley and its due to apple arcade. It would have been great if mac support could have been added or apple tv. I like the aspect of my saved data being synced to the cloud so I can play on both my phone and ipad but adding mac would have been the missing piece. Or if at least game controller support can be added, touch controls are not always the best especially on smaller phones. Would also like to mention that there is a bug when fishing that the audio after a few reels would get stuck and sound like you are reeling fish even when done fishing. Hope my feedback actually gets recognized, I have put over 40 hours since apple arcade released it. Could get so many more into the game..Version: 1.5.6.46

✓ Good but crashes and needs controller supportI loved playing this game on my pc and thought it would be a great idea to try it out on IOS, I was surprised when I found out that it wasn’t controller supported even though the game was on platforms like PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo switch (I think). ✓ Still an amazing game!This game is so much fun!! I have played this game previously on the switch - it is really nice to be able to zoom in and out with ease, and fishing is SO much easier here than the switch version. I think the only problems I have had so far is trying to use tools at time (such as holding the watering can to get that 3-5 tiles per pour). ✓ Lagging…Now let me just say I really love Stardew valley I really do but there is one problem. The game lags every so often and when I reset the game I have to restart the game and then I have to restart the day which is annoying. ✓ Minor bugs, but great otherwiseGoing to keep this short and sweet as possible… Game overall plays well, and the option for different controls is nice. However not being able to remove bait or the lures on the fishing poll is annoying. Other issue is what many other have seen, which is the never-ending reeling noise glitch which is only stopped by ending the day to save and then killing the app process. ✓ Great Game a ran into a bug thoughI’ve been playing this game for a few years now on my PC and got the app as well. The only issue I see happening is when I place an item in a bundle in the community center, the game time pauses and I can no longer move my player or open any menu. I can still choose an item to hold from my backpack. It has happened twice now, both times happened when I was placing an item on the bulletin board. ✓ Review Update 1.1 SPOILER ALERTHi, it’s me again. I’ve just recently married, (in the game) and something bothers me. With Shane, you see cut scenes where he tries to do it suicide. Alex talks about his dad getting drunk and beating his mom. But when it comes to babies, you won’t allow being pregnant? I mean, we all know how babies are made. But you don’t have to show it or anything. Maybe just when he/she says “do you want a baby?” And you say yes, just do like a harp. That would be funny for those of us who know how babies are made. Plus, you could do like a 1 month pregnancy and the day of the pregnancy there could be this funny cutscene where the husband freaks out and gets dr Harvey and you give birth with your hubby and the best friend. And for same sex couples you could get adopt a kid and there could be this heartfelt cutscene where the kid and mayor Lewis come to the door one morning and it was super cute. ✓ Stardew on the go yes plzLong time fan of the game love that it’s on mobile and doesn’t look to be missing anything almost at the end of year one and so far it’s just like the pc great job guys. For anyone having issues fishing I find gentile taps mixed with small tap and holds work really well of course the more u practice the better u get and the easier it is as the fishing bar changes size as u lvl up just upgrade ur rod asap and ur good. Now for anyone having issues on notched phones I’m using iPhone 14 pro max and I have gone into settings to change the control layout I use both tap and joystick with buttons I also have my tool bar on the left side of my screen I find using the joystick is so easy to navigate walking around and when gardening I just zoom in so the buttons don’t interfere. ✓ Good but a little bugWhen playing for a while sometimes when you least expect it the screen turns black and you’re able to see your health and your energy but you’re not able to see the materials either you can see the columns, also you are still able to hear the music. ✓ Great game but..I am in love with this game. I have been addicted to it the last few weeks after playing it on my switch and Xbox. I like that i can cloud sync it and play on other devices. I love being able to play on the go with my phone or sit down on my iPad when i get home and connect a controller. But the bugs are really annoying. ✓ Opening Store MenuesOk so, I love this game and I love playing it on my computer, so when I saw that it was available on arcade I got it immediately. And I was having a good time until I realized that I couldn’t open any of the store menus. I don’t know if it’s a bug or internet related, but I am unable to open the carpenter menu, blacksmith menu, Pierre’s menu, anything really. I just want to know whether or not it’s something that can be fixed easily or if deleting and redownloading the game is the only way to fix it. ✓ Love the game but has a few bugsPlayed this game all the way through before it got the Ginger Island update. Love the pace and different things to do. Few bugs in this update that weren’t there in the earlier version. The fishing reel sound that others have mentioned - not sure what triggers it since it doesn’t happen all the time. My tea plants that are planted in garden pots in the house are only producing leaves for a couple of days then they stop for over 7 days, then start again. ✓ AmazingI just started playing a few days ago and already put 60hours in. This game is absolutely fantastic. People saying there is bugs? Where? I have never had crashes as well. This game needs at least 2GB of RAM so maybe try getting a new device. I absolutely fell in love with this game. Only complaint I have is there’s no online like PC. ✓ Bugs galore but still funFirst time playing Stardew valley and it is a really fun game that I’ve been obsessed with for the past few days. Only issue like everyone else, is the crashing - specifically when I eat gold star food in caves, any other food is fine but gold star food specifically freezes the screen and I can only move the toolbar around. ✓ First TimerI’m so happy to finally experience the cultural phenomenon of Stardew Valley now that it’s come to Arcade. My first sim was ACNH which won me over with the design and graphics but didn’t come close to the depth and dialogue of SV villagers. Because of that, it’s a shame that I’ve come across a frequent bug in which many (not all) cutscenes are frozen. The only button that works is “skip” meaning I have no input on which dialogue box is selected and how it affects my friendship with the villager. ✓ ♥️♥️♥️ and a couple bugsI love this game! So much to explore and build! Engaging storylines, lots of good world building. My only issue is that I can’t progress in several places on Ginger Island, due to being unable to access the Journal Entries I’ve collected, as well as being unable to get very far in the Skull Cavern. It is incredibly frustrating to have no way to continue your progress in the Skull Cavern. Maybe something could be added where after you hit floor 40? 50? you could have your progress saved? ✓ ConfusedI’ll be honest I was baffled at first. It took me 6 restarts to get it right because I didn’t look properly (btw if you haven’t specifically chosen the forrest for your farm you’ve probably done the same as me). But after watching a 3 year old video by Lunar Nebula Gaming, I finally understood and it’s been great ever since then. I also love that the game always has something to do. However the only critiques that I have are that the “tutorial hints” pretty much don’t exist so if you’re trying to figure something out you’re on your own, Except for Google and Reddit. ✓ Your game isn’t bugged…I love this game so much, so happy it released on Apple Arcade!! I have a few things to say to the negative reviewers: For those saying the cutscenes break randomly, try not tapping the screen until it finishes. If you zoom in or out it will break it. And also the one guy that says it will randomly zoom in all the way, he’s touching the screen with his other finger and not realizing it, I know from experience. For those complaining about the controls, have you even looked in the settings?? There are a few options that make it way easier to control if you just take the time to experiment. Personally I use invisible joystick and 2 buttons and I adjusted the button sizes where I want them. Lastly, those saying the game crashes a lot, I’ve only experienced a few really game breaking things, maybe like one or two crashes. Other times I’ll accidentally do something wrong with zoom and it makes the whole screen black and forces me to quit. Idk why it would crash so many times for so many people but I feel like it’s a hardware issue for most of them. And of course the game will crash and have bugs, all games do. ✓ Just enjoy itI am completely obsessed with Stardew Valley at this point. I was frustrated at first because I don’t think there is enough instruction with the game. I got overwhelmed because I was afraid I would make a bad decision that would affect my game in the future. One thing that helped take the pressure off of myself was the ability to have multiple saves. Then I decided to just enjoy it and not be so hard on myself. In the past day and a half (the time of the post) since the game was released i have played 17 hours (yet i keep restarting and im day 16) so far the game is super fun; i befriended Caroline to steal her tea recipe, i am in mayor dept, ETC. I do have some trouble with not everything being perfect (i am a perfectionist) i restarted 4 times so far, but overall the game is GREAT The only issue i have with the game is that every now and then when i open the menu to look at my friendship, clean my inventory, change my settings, etc. When i close the menu back my game crashes and i need to start the game again.Version: 1.5.6.46

✓ Good but buggyI absolutely love Stardew, so I was super stoked to see it available on Arcade. I’m 19 days into my first spring, but just had to force quit the game because of the bugs. Sometimes moving across the map between sections is buggy, as is attempting to buy seeds at Pierre’s. I just got stuck in the mine and Linus found me because the game froze while I was being attacked. I also wish there was a better system for manual attacks, as I try to attack the creatures, and the game switches to my other tools mid hit. Having to force quit and not being able to save is so frustrating because I don’t even know what I lost/gained that day. ✓ SO GOODYOU NEED TO GET THIS- NO WORDS, get either the arcade version, or the original if u don’t have arcade. BUT ITS SO GOOD! I got this recommended by my best friend, and he was RIGHT that I would like it. First of all, You can choose many things. Your name, favorite thing, town name, what u look like, and best of all, where u LIVE. There are so many varieties of places to live. There are beaches, river homes, and I picked wilderness. ( I just liked it and I thought it was aesthetic there was monsters at night idk why) your story or whatever is determined based on where you live, because the people you meet are always different. And one of the main parts of the game is, finding someone you love or something, and marry them! What’s cool is when you go into some house or something, you can’t enter certain part’s without being good friend with whoever it belongs to, which adds a lot to your limitations, in a good way. I like the idea of the story a lot, how you live in a overwhelming life in a city or something, and your grandfather has you move out to the “simple life” to build a life there. ✓ Great gameI really liked Stardew valley on my Nintendo switch so I wanted a more portable version. I like life games in general but I really like this one. There are a few problems some times I feel like there is no good choices and I’ll just cause conflicts and I’m sad that I can’t say anything. Also, once I accidentally deleted my clothes and I couldn’t get them back because I just started. Also once I forgot to edit my hair shirt and I couldn’t change it. ✓ Almost Perfect, but…This game is just as good as the pc version, the amount of content in here allows for hundreds of hours of entertainment. The controls are easy to get used to however the joystick seems to be a bit stiff at times. Also, there are quite a few bugs here and there that could be fixed as-well. Overall, this is a must have game for all ages and play styles. There is so much for you to explore and interact, definitely check this game out for yourself. If any of the developers read this, please bring the “Always Show Tool Hit Location” as an option in the settings. Sometimes it is hard to see where my equipment is going to be used on which tile. ✓ I really enjoy this game.This is my first time playing this game. I am in my 9th year in game time. I really enjoy this game. It is very addictive. I only have a few requests that I wish they would fix/improve. Mostly, I wish they would allow us to turn off or remove the auto arrange buttons in the inventory/chest/backpack/mini refrigerator & etc. It is extremely irritating as you are unable to arrange items into any reasonable order to find anything especially in the chest & mini refrigerators. I’m playing on a touch screen & if I hold an item too long or put too much pressure then it auto arranges (totally messes things up). I don’t even have to touch the auto arrange button. Second, the day in the game could be a little longer to cause less stress. And if we pass out on our own property then we should not be charged by Dr. or fined otherwise..Version: 1.5.6.46
✓ Very good game but hasn’t been updated in a whileI’ve been playing for about 2 months now and have it on pc but I’ve noticed a bug when processing geodes with Clint. For some unknown reason the game tends to crash when I process geodes through Clint, this doesn’t happen all the time but being that the game only saves every night you could lose progress for that whole day. Hope we get an update to fix it soon however we haven’t had one in a while so my hopes aren’t high. ✓ Amazing game, highly recommended!!!!!!This game was first shown to me by a friend. I later downloaded it for myself and it is absolutely amazing. Adorable graphics, smooth gameplay, great storylines, and super inclusive! When you create your character you can choose from multiple hair colors and styles, skin tones, eye colors and shapes, and more! You can also marry any character regardless of either your genders. ✓ A bit buggy, but I love itBeen playing the game at my own pace and I think I’m getting the hang of it. One thing I love is that I can zoom in, very handy if I’m trying to buy/order a build from Penny or Marmie’s shops or if my character doesn’t seem to pick the spot I want to hit/till/harvest from. Another that I became used to is that ny character seems to freeze when harvesting something at the end edge of the greenhouse, near the door. Takes about a minute or two, but it does unfreeze. Other things that bug me is if the screen gets dark, or if the reeling sound (when fishing) gets stuck and won’t stop even after the fishing is done, both of which needing the app to be force stopped. ✓ Great game! But please have a d-pad with controlsThis game is an absolutely amazing game and I have so much fun playing it. I have it on switch and Xbox as well but playing it on the phone is super convenient. However the controls options are somewhat limited. It has a touch to move kind of thing similar to league of legends, and then it has a joystick with buttons configuration which is the one I use. Honestly though I hate having to use the joystick because of the traction with the thumb… it’s hard to explain but it just bugs me. A simple solution to that is to just add an arrow/D-pad configuration. Since the movement is very simple with only being able to go horizontal vertical and diagonal. ✓ OMGG!!! MY FAVE GAME EVVVAAAAAI love ❤️ Stardew valley soooo much!! I first played it on my uncle’s computer, and when I saw it was coming to Apple Arcade I literally screamed! (It’s true!) I looooooove this game so much. One thing tho. I’m aiming to marry Alex, but I got 8 hearts in winter, and to unlock the cutscene it has to be in summer. ✓ I love this game a lot but…This game is super addictive, however there are plenty of bugs. Sound glitches like the reeling in noise when fishing after you caught the fish. And also the game will totally freeze if your fighting monsters and you try and eat some food last second, which doesn’t even get added to your health or energy. Some “fixes” for these I end up resulting to like with the sound bug is turning my volume down to muted, but that affects my reaction time. And then just waiting out if my game freezes. Or ultimately just completely logging out and restarting the app..Version: 1.5.6.46

✓ Game keeps crashing:(Hey! I’m such a huge fan of Stardew Valley and I’m so glad that I’ve discovered it on mobile! However, I’m only about a week into the first year and can’t get any further due to the app crashing. I’ve deleted other big apps off of my iPad, I’ve restarted my iPad to remove the cache, I zoomed in on my gameplay to hopefully not have it register as much, but I just can’t stop this app from crashing, and it’s frustrating for me because I really want to play! ✓ In loveI LOVE this game! I got this game “free” because I pay for arcade. It’s about a character working on a farm, but the plot has way more depth than that! The main character chooses to inherit his grandfathers farm after the burden of modern life forced him to go. I am happy with my characters decision, as the farm is so cute! Plus: all the characters are unique, and I love interacting with all of them! There are 12 marriage candidates and they are split equally among gender, though all of them are player-sexual. All the days are filled with entertaining things to do, and I look forward to annual events during the different seasons! However, apart from the totems, which are used to teleport, could there be another way to travel other places?- so we don’t have to walk across the map, just to back to your plot and realize you missed something and need to go back. Other then that, I enjoy the game! Despite my minor complaint it couldn’t take away any of my stars :).Version: 1.5.6.46

✓ First timer!I really enjoy the game more than I thought would. There are some bugs, which is typical for newly released games. But, I’m order to report them I have to go to a forum that isn’t Arcade specific and then create an account? That’s asking a lot. There are some out right bugs and some quality of life issues. Bug: the reeling sounds while fishing sometimes continues infinitely after you finish fishing. You have to finish out the day and close the game to fix it. Quality of life: after receiving an item, your character holds it. Sometimes I accidentally click on a person, in turn gifting them the item (for which they are never grateful). Maybe this is intentional, but I think it makes sense to receive an item (from a shopkeep, for instance) and then immediately put it away before walking. No one gets a bag of flour from the store and then walks with it raised above their head before gifting it to the first person they encounter..Version: 1.5.6.46
✓ Game boy Advance Meets iPhoneThis game gives me so much nostalgia it’s not even funny. It reminds me of my GBA Color playing Pokémon lol but in a farming game instead. I’ve been challenged, played it for hours now and I’m in Year 3. No glitches I have found and always a million things to do that will leave me up late gaming like I do on my console. I’ve wanted for YEARS to find an app that was like a true video game, and this is it. No purchasing things, no ads, just true game play. Ahhh. Finally..Version: 1.5.6.46
