✓ Enjoyed the demo, but...$9 is too much for a phone game, my limit is about $5. Even games I can play on my laptop have to work hard to be worth $15+, I'm just not spending this much on a phone game. ✓ My everyday routineFinally, a game which encapsulates the struggles I have to go through everyday. For the low price of 12.99, one can experience what a clinically diagnosed schizophrenic such as myself does - including picking up garbage on the sides of the street to make myself that much stronger. Even if you don’t want to pay the premium for the full game, you get a decent amount of content regardless. Also, ad free!.Version: 3.0.9

✓ Best little dice-crawlerIf you're familiar with Dicey Dungeons, it's kind like that, but better. The game is all dice-based combat, where what class changes (leve-ups) and items you choose and how you combine them form your strategy. It's really easy to get into and there are ton of game modes (and other good stuff) to unlock. I love it..Version: 3.0.9

✓ Great turn based roguelike with diceThe game mechanics is incredibly captivating and smart. Although as a mobile game developer myself I see big monetization opportunities missed because of the sole inapp offer. And the price look too high. At least the description of what I get for the price is not convincing enough to me. Maybe explain in more details what you offer or decrease the price (my feeling is that similar games could cost 5-7 CAD. Now it’s 12 CAD in Canada which seems too much ). Or even better- utilize mixed monetization which proved to be more efficient in terms of revenue and retention. Players who like the game enough to purchase will purchase anyway. Those who like the game but not enough to purchase would not be churned away by the paywall. They could bring some revenue through unobtrusive rewarded ads (for ex. give choice of 3 random items instead of 2 if one watches an ad etc). Anyways great job creating the peculiar game design and I wish the game and its developer all the best that’s why I cared to write this long review 😉🤝 Oh and btw the game seems to be offline but it crashes on start if wifi is disabled (iPhone xs max, ios 17.1).Version: 3.0.9

✓ Depth and Replayability for days.Slice and Dice is a dice-rolling game with the build depth of the best roguelites out there. With a broad selection of characters and strategy-shifting items to outfit them, this game scratches the itch if you’re looking for a game that will challenge you even after you learn how to break the balance over your knee. I have been playing since the 1.0 launch on Android, and am buying the full version again here so I can take advantage of the screen size on iPad. No matter how many runs I clear, something still manages to surprise and delight. If you love roguelite, this is a stellar addition to the canon of roguelites you need to try..Version: 3.0.9

✓ I love this gameSuper fun and involved combat system that’s easy to understand but provides plenty of depth, with the perfect amount of exciting variance and randomness mixed in. All of the loot and level ups from run to run make each one feel fresh enough to come back, even though the game doesn’t push you to. All the information you need is easily accessible and digestible, making it super easy to pick up right away despite its numerous mechanics. Also looks and runs great, with a very simple and clean aesthetic, and minimalistic visual effects that somehow makes you feel powerful just from rolling dice. ✓ Incredibly addicting, best Yahtzee rogueliteI played this game like crazy when it was on itch.io. Now that I have unlimited access to it on my phone, I’m in big trouble. ✓ Great game!I played this game a while ago on Android and was disappointed it wasn’t on iOS when I switched. It was like leaving a friend behind. Now it’s here and better than ever! There is a lot of replay value with trying out absurd combinations of items, characters and modifiers. “Just one more roll” is something I’d repeat quite often. The dev is a great dude and has been working hard on many free updates, so it’s well worth unlocking the full version and keeping on your phone for years..Version: 3.0.9

✓ More please.I would love to see more games of this quality and without trying to abuse it players with micro transactions. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it to have a game good without the greed on it. I usually deduct one star for graphics I lived through the 80s and I’ve had enough of that. There’s no reason you can’t do better graphics, but in this case, they got at least six stars, so it covers it, something I have not given out in a long time. ✓ Approachable, varied mobile tactics gameIt's a roguelite game where you go from combat to combat with a party of 4 characters whose moves are represented by faces on a die. Each round you have a number of rerolls available to try and get the moves you want to use. Aside from the rolling of the dice themselves, combat is entirely deterministic, you know exactly what each enemy is going to do and you can undo and redo your turn as many times as you want to mess around with targeting, attack order, etc. Between each combat, you're given the choice to either pick between a couple equippable items that typically change dice faces in interesting ways, or between different class upgrades that change a party member's dice and abilities entirely. there are a LOT of classes and a LOT of items. Enemy encounter design is really clever and keeps you on your toes, and the various equippables can combine in some gamebreaking ways that can make you feel pretty smart. There are a million different unlockable game modes and characters and items so there are usually a bunch of different goals to pursue at any given time. Compared to something like StS where (IMO) strategy leans more towards the deckbuilding and map routing than the moment-to-moment card combat, Slice & Dice feels a little more focused on the combat tactics side. The undo button means you have a lot of freedom to puzzle out different lines of play and take your time to strategize, which balances nicely with the merciless RNG of the dice. Also the free version is a great taste of the game and can probably sell it to you better than I can. It lets you play most of the way through a full "classic mode" run of the game and you'll know whether it has its hooks in you or not..Version: 3.0.9
