✓ Nice idea, poorly executed.I wanted to like this game, if only because of the lack of IAP. But every boss battle is identical and frustrating, with the enemy able to block off large sections of the board with various powers. Most end in a loss because of stalemate, or being unable to effectively fight..Side order.Version: 1.03

✓ Good but a bit too grinds at pointsThe game is a really fun match 3 crossed with slight rpg elements. The biggest flaw is that it can be a bit of a grind at points if you want to earn money for upgrades which feel needed to pass dungeons. Another issue is that the play button is right next to the delete save button...on a touch device. That is never a good UI design, more so on a touch device. Make it harder to delete a save like moving the confirm button to the bottom of the screen so it's different to every other confirm option..Sigma117Version: 1.01

✓ MehIt would be 5/5 if you didn't have to grind the hell out of it. Seriously, the game gets ridiculously hard early on and you have to grind the levels. Even then, it's still difficult. Besides that, a good game. Oh and the in game stuff like potions and defense stuff costs way to much gold. ✓ Almost perfect, but spoiled by insulting jokesA great mix of match 3 and simple RPG. Major props to the developer for going with a fixed fee for this app instead of the usual pay-to-win junk. Even the stilted story would be forgivable if it wasn’t for the flat-out awful jokes. I’m not easily insulted by much, but the jokes are just sort of mean-spirited and lack the funniness to redeem themselves. They leave me with that sort of awkward embarrassment for the sake of the person telling them. Like when you don’t want to be the one to tell the amateur comedian that they’ve crossed the line, so you just wait to see who will jeer at them first. Seriously though, an otherwise clever game. I’ll bet you could double your sales or more if you fixed that one problem. I’d love to recommend this game, but can’t in good conscience - not to friends, family and especially kids. ✓ Terrible story, average gameThe gameplay is fine, pretty standard match-3. Around halfway through the game there is a HUGE wall, normally it took at most 3 tries for me to beat a boss, this level isn't even a boss and I've tried it over 20 times. There's not really any replay value of levels you've beat already, so the best way to level is to keep fighting the battle until you level enough to beat it which is annoying. It's also nearly impossible to get anywhere without a random ambush every step of the way, I get it there are monsters around, but it shouldn't take 15 minutes to get to the level I'm supposed to be playing. The story though... it's horrid, you know exactly what's going to happen, and the dialogue is about as bad as it gets. Period jokes galore, the angry leader who attacks everything on sight, the forgetful girl is also the greedy treasure hoarder, the noble knight, terrible mocking of one character for no real reason (maybe it's supposed to be funny). I quit reading the dialogue pretty quickly once I realized it wasn't getting any better..P. M. U. AVersion: 1.06

✓ Fun for about half the game but get obnoxiously hard later onThe game was moving along well until the cave in the middle of the ocean. Enemies with low turn count destroy HP and shield so fast and you constantly get ailments like poison tossed onto your board. They affect multiple tiles at a time. In order to progress any further, I believe you either need to be an ultra expert at chaining and matching 5 tiles to trigger S. ✓ Fun, until...It’s a fun game, great ideas incorporating with satisfying action that I found puzzle games are missing. But there are few thing that was really frustrating. -Traveling auto prompted battles. Is all cool because you can frustratingly back out of match every time it comes up which is annoying. But the part that’s frustrating is when a fork road goes into a only pathway with alerted “!” Bubble. Or any for this matter. You can’t physically get to a store to refill on things you did to continue the story prompt battle. So you have to grind. Grind. Grind. Grind. The same whatever area your stuck in. Until you level up. Annoying af. -Unclosed areas in menu. I notice if you accidentally forget to close, say the store. And click on menu.. well that all jumbos together into a confusing floating mess. You see both store, menu... or map with floating user potion/debuff which usually goes away. Annoying af. -Humor, I quit reading things because it’s pretty much 6th grade humor. Jokes about periods... If they don’t bother you, it’s a strong 4 stars. But after painstakingly losing to a long battle defeating multiple stages... you can’t refill your helpful items and annoying floating ui comes up... it’s annoying af. ✓ Damage doesn't scale well, gruesome progression and farm fest.I am a big fan of Hero Emblems, but the main story quests are away too challenging. I'm at the FORT and I basically get 2-shotted by anything past the first mob. I can probably get to 2F once every 5 tries and then get stomped near the end. The worst part is all experience and gold gain is lost upon death. The game either needs to be made easier or have increased itemization in the early game so we can keep up with mob damage. Or simply make it so that there are better farming mobs and retained gold/exp on death. Otherwise progression is incredibly grueling and turns me away from continuing..ZelmungVersion: 1.01

✓ Could be greatIt's wonderful to find a good , nicely made match 3 game with no timers or IAPs. But given this, it's even harder to work out why they made it so slow to level up or grind money. I've been playing 2 hours now, and have only managed to complete 1 quest. One. It's not worth taking on the next boss yet again until I'm much more likely to not get totally pulverised. But getting coins / xp is just so SLOW. It looks like being a big enough game to warrant the asking price without artificially dragging it into a life-long task. Experience needs to be at least 6x quicker than it is at the moment and as for gold I’m earning around 32 pieces a fight to pay for gear that costs 2000 (it’s 2000 per character so I need 8000). ✓ If you can't find it, grind itFirst the good. No IAPS which is almost unheard of in a match 3 game, great skill/inventory system, moment to moment the gameplay is fun. However it's structured in a very grindy way. You either have to rely on the luck of the tiles and combo your way to victory, or you get repeatedly beaten to a pulp and have to grind random battles till you're up to the latest gear-check boss fight. Additionally, you can spend ten minutes fighting through an area just to get to said bosses, who then stomp you into the ground. Ten minutes down the drain, you're returned to the start. Desperately needs a balancing patch or at least mid level save points (or a way to run away from an area mid-level)..BovreelVersion: 1.01

✓ Not for kids!UPDATE: This is even more bizarre, there seems to be a theme of one of the characters (the healer) being a servant of God, and they make fun of her and make her out to be an idiot. Really? I am not one to believe in conspiracy theories and I don't believe there are legions of evil people trying to trash Christians at every chance, but this is kind of blatant and strange. When you add it up, it is just stupid - they have a kiddie game theme, the main character curses in very inappropriate settings and they have a character who is a "servant of God" who is always the one who they make fun of and treat like she is stupid. What is going on here? It is downright strange. Howard, the captain of the team curses non-stop! It is bizarrely out of place in such a juvenile setting. This is a cutesy match-3 rpg of sorts that is marred by its overly syrupy child-like animations and story-line and then it is filled with curse words that are inappropriate for young children. ✓ Great game!Really enjoying the game, but I'm on the third island and it's gotten to the point where boss's just guard or resist literally 90% of my attacks.. I'm getting matches of 5 and generally being awesome but am completely unable to do any damage what-so-ever. I've upgraded a couple of my guys to the items that are available in the 3rd island shop but it makes no difference and the items are so expensive that I would need to grind about 30+ battles just to upgrade another hero. Really like the game but the inability to progress has become frustrating. Edit: Now I'm stuck at a battle called High Grounds of Wind. I've tried Googling for tips but it seems that even the walkthroughs can't do anything except repeat and hope to get lucky in this battle xD. ✓ Fun! (Edit)Edit: zero stars. The last boss kills me on their first round every single time. How unsatisfying to spend dozens of hours playing this game to have no chance of completing it. I have spent hours and hours losing over and again to level up, and I have tried every combination of character build, and I have never, ever gotten past the boss’ first attack. What a frustrating, terrible experience this game turned out to be... I love playing this game! It is not perfect (the dialogue/story is quite standard/basic), I am extremely pleased with this being a match 3 style puzzler without having to deal with the annoyances that come with “free” to play games. ✓ Good game play, stupid story.The game play is great! It is easy to learn but the game still has challenge. The story writing on the other hand is lame. If I was the cleric in this game I would walk away and not care if the people in that group never made it back. They are not a tight group of friends unless it's to make fun and belittle the cleric. ✓ Great gameplay, but too frustratingThe animations, gameplay, etc are good fun - I had a lot of enjoyment early on with this game. However, the difficulty is completely messed up - you swing from missions that are trivially easy, and then are immediately followed by missions that are auto-fails. In addition, in the middle of the game the new emblems you need to progress cannot be purchased - they are hidden in levels that are almost always too difficult for you to finish. So, you grind the mission, praying that you get lucky enough to get through, and knowning that each time you fail is a complete waste - any items or experience you gained is lost. Once the game progress pass tutorial, its all luck and grinding to level up before you can beat any of the boss or even some of the random battles. ✓ Fun but poor balancingI give it a 3 because while it is fun, the balancing is horrendous. Yes hard should be a challenge, but when it becomes a grind rather than strategy or skill it becomes pointless. When a boss deals 95% of your health and shields in damage on hard and you only have 3 turns to replenish them to max to survive the next hit, which is wholly inefficient, it is not fun or skill.
