The game is infested with spoiled & entitled children who fail to understand the underlying theme, PIRACY … not some FarmVille or Roblox hallucinations. ✓ Slick but unbalancedThis game is very well made. An intuitive interface, workable quest lines, stories and PVP woven into a great game concept. Unfortunately the game rewards pay-to-win bullies and makes the game unplayable for those not willing to spend big bucks and suck up to the bigger gangs. ✓ Started pretty goodBut once you reach level 8, you are attacked by the top guild every time you are logged out. And of course, when you log back in you have lost all your gold so you can not repair. If you can not start the game at level 13 you pretty much do not have a chance. Battles have no detail. As usual, the people who join early and form a strong alliance trample all over everyone else. I believe these are all churned out by the same dodgy developer that made Guns of Glory and State of Survival and as soon as I realized this I deleted it immediately. ✓ P2W what else is there to sayI’ve seen the developer reply ing to people who complain about the whales. They say participate in events to get strong then??? What does that have to do with whales destroying the game with P2W garbage. Also how about the gang racket event currently??? Yea there’s some nice rewards but the best ones at stuck behind a 10$ pay wall. And big spenders can spend as much as they want to get bonus missions. I have finished all my attempts gotten a decent amount of points and I’m not even top 100. P2W is in a lot of games and I’m aware of it but come on done make it so every event you do, like these, are impossible for F2P players to even get into the top reward brackets. This game would be great if the only things you could purchase had cosmetic or basically non-gameplay items. ✓ Exciting to playThis game has it all, however it definitely feels like it’s potential is being held back, I understand how the game is supposed to hold players progression back to give everyone a better chance, but the stamina system is out of wack. At least let us gain stamina faster by being in port, or consuming certain items. The stamina system has been preventing me from assisting allies and progressing myself tremendously. ✓ Very unbalanced and dev extorts moneyIf you purchase a wrong item or item doesn’t work as expected (like hero call doesn’t work before event ends - it’s a bug in their game) and request a refund because you can no longer get the right hero, they will not refund. If you tell them to take whatever item you bought back and refund - they won’t. Keep in mind that even if you do it a minute after the purchase - absolutely no grace period. Here’s a kicker - as a last resort, if you refund through Apple Store explaining the technical issue in the game, dev will lock your account from buying - ever - so you basically can’t progress anymore and essentially lose anything else you bought previously until you pay the “debt”. Yes, this is a huge pay to win game so spending $100s of dollars weekly is the only way to progress fast enough so others don’t kill you or kick you out of the gang constantly. It might be fun until lvl 10 then it’s just a grind and money dump to get to 20. Customer service does not understand English, takes over 24 hours to reply. After 2 weeks (!) and 3 different tickets with them and constant copy/paste answers that have nothing to do with my request - I officially gave up because all season events went by and I couldn’t buy what I actually wanted. ✓ Poor customer supportI saw an ad and game looked good. I played for 1 day on my lunch time. I was enjoying the game. When I turned game on the next day it was stuck. The sound was working and it looked like it was working but I am unable to move the ships. The app support bot doesn’t give great help. I followed what it said but it did nothing. I messaged and emailed but have had no response. I deleted the game several times and waited a day before reloading but it still doesn't work. Time has obviously elapsed in the game because the whirlpool has slowly eaten the island the ships are near. I wish someone at Funplus would help. So far…..crickets. ✓ Fun but buggyGreat game and I will continue to play but my chats keep switching on me while I’m typing and I end up sending messages to the wrong people. It’s very annoying. Also pay to win players always win the events which is also annoying, you can work as hard as you like but players can always just buy their way to the top, even in events they shouldn’t be able to buy their way through because you’ll put “do this to get points or summon heros to get points”. I had reported multiple times in the game not getting rewards for completing certain things and had reported harassment, but nothing was done. The support team ignored my reports of not getting rewards and closed the reports. The also said people weren’t harassing only due to them not using rude or bad language, but banned me for all chats even with my own team for a few things I said. No bug reporting place, no online manual, the occasional rabbit hole of Mandarin text where the devs forgot to kill a link and didn't want to bother making English instructions. Some game audio is awesome. Some sounds like a kids recorded it in his basement with toys. The female trader lady is annoying with her broken English. “Have you ever had a good harvest recently?” “We don’t like poor guys here”. “Remember. Money make intimacy”. It’s 2024. Wake up and get on the values train FunPlus. That Asian caste society and misogyny stuff needs to stay in Asia. Audio is super repetitive. Hearing “It’s hard to believe you don’t have an elite education” multiple times in a row is grating on the soul. At least for $15 a month Blizzard had in-game GMs and a help system. With no support for paying customers this game is just another money grab with the typical non-support from any product out of Asia. The only support they have is a community run Discord where everyone is just as clueless as the other players for the most part. It could be a good game with some support from the devs and get rid of the female trader. So before you get to enjoy the game and its mechanics you’re already being targeted by a toxic group of pay to play gamers. ✓ Poor moderationThe game itself is alright but there’s a few issues. A minor issue is the translation. Some of the game text is poorly translated to English and so sometimes things the characters say just don’t make any sense, sometimes to an extent you can’t even use the context to figure out what’s going on. The biggest issue however is the poor moderation of issues in the game. There are some players who select usernames that are clearly sexually explicit in nature and yet when reported the games moderators find no issue. It’s the same with reporting players who use harmful language such as slurs in chat. You report the message and again the games moderators somehow find no problem and nothing is done about the offending player. As such I would be very hesitant to interact or read any of the chats in game and would caution against anyone under 18 playing this game. The games moderators REALLY need to step up their game because some of the content they’re allowing is a clear violation of what’s allowed and acceptable to create a respectful and pleasant gaming environment..Version: 1.1.163

No other reason to spend 1000s on a game that couldn’t be sold for more than $20 as a normal game. There are way more ftp or lower spenders on these games than the whales, however the whales make it impossible to play. Of course the game will cater to them instead of finding a way to keep the whales together and the lower spenders separate to keep it even and fair. ✓ Sea Of Conquest; Pirate War 🫤I’m not buying the 4.5 out of 5 rating this game got. This game is nothing like advertised. Besides being very complex, it’s difficult to navigate through the myriad of features, upgrades, abilities and skills. The on-line help and descriptions of items does little to help you establish goals so you need to figure everything by yourself. Most upgrades take multiple hours (some take days) only to be disappointed when you finally upgrade your heroes and ships. I played this for a week straight and was very dissatisfied with the outcome. Unless you drop a ton of cash for upgrades, you will languish in the poor house waiting for trade route cash or get sunk trying to raid other ships for gold. The gangs concept is ill conceived as your rewarded for strategy and cunning is defeated by bully gangs who will take you for everything you have. Except for the graphics, you will get little satisfaction for the time you need to spend to get anywhere. The game has potential but needs to be redesigned to make it easier and more fun to play. However, once you reach a certain level it seems, the system will no longer reward you for sinking the same vessels it wants you too. The system will then give you a “wanted” email and send your coordinates out to everyone to attack you!! Then, even if you’re in a gang and you are in your territory the system will allow you to be robbed at double the rate and not let you build back any of your cash/stash. So developers, is this where I have to sell a kidney to advance?? Starts as a great game, after that apparently you have to spend to keep building your ships. The exploring the questing the lotting. All S tier content. I will give the designers that. They hook you right in. But the game is highly pay to win. Example: first week in we’re building up our ships and commanders. Then ports open to take over and to top guild one of their guys comes in 1v6 and they have about 20 of those guys. Their running the map killing everyone. We build towers one guy destroys it and takes it over. Not even a competition. You almost kill one they can retreat into your own port heal up in 2 seconds then get right back to it. Within 30 min every tower we took up to our base was gone and there was nothing that could be done about it. ✓ HmmmmSo the game is fun during the first start of a server. But it fades quickly as the first hurdle is you have to join a big clan right away. Then after the seas start to open up it becomes obvious that the game is Chinese dominated pay to win. My suspicions are that in other countries all the extras you would pay for to either get ahead or keep up are cheaper than US. You will bankrupt yourself before you will be able to keep up with them. And so much is based off of how your clan is doing compared to competition with other clans that yes one over leveled pay to win captain will dominate any others easily. If players are within range of a tower owned by their gang it can support them in battles or help defend the territory against enemy declared players? I don’t know if theres already a game that has this? But the ability to choose a faction (Pirates or Royal Navy) and play as 1 or the other with ship types appropriate to each? A search function to find out what ports are selling what items. I like everything else this game offers! They can do it with one ship. We had several bases and the number 3 player just shows up as his own one man fleet and took everything. 7-8 ships attacking could not even dent him. The Chinese players seemed to always have hero’s and the best ships. They seem to be leaps and bounds more powerful than any other group. At one point I was even in their gang and I was amazed how quickly they grew. I was in the top 40 on my server and was booted from their guild because I’m not Chinese. Creates an in-game timer with a countdown, and the event is just a “send us a comment on discord and 5 players will win 300 diamonds.” No community rewards, no real in game event… just tell us something random on discord. They did the same thing where they reached 50,000 active discord users, “send us why you’re pirate and 5 players will win 300 diamonds”…. It’s impossible to gain or hold territory now for anyone who doesn’t want to be part of a mega gang and there’s no way to transfer to a new server without starting completely over. Guy on my server spent $5000 USD and still doesn’t have everything and is only 25/32 ship levels. Game is not optimized for its actual platform. 10 minutes on a mobile device and you will be overheating to the point your device shuts down or the app crashes even on lowest settings. I tested this on multiple devices, so I would love to see what excuse they make up for that one. Another game that claims to be mobile, but in reality it’s catering to players on emulators and using mobile as a means of getting their name into ridiculous ads. To top off how much the devs to not care about their community, the official discord hit a massive milestone! 1 million downloads! So they gave everyone a couple hero pulls. ✓ Technically a free gameThis is a free to download game, but there are many extremely vicious and aggressive player who will PK. Many whales do not give a rat's bottom how tons of players have quit because of constant PK harressment. The upgrades started out only a few hours to a like a day or so, but once crossing a certain threshold it literally takes weeks to upgrade a cabin! ✓ Fun UntilI can go back and forth all day about how games like this are a cash grab but I genuinely enjoyed the art style and mechanics I hate season 2 with the introduction of ship building you don’t have guaranteed chance of a legendary ship understandable I guess but randomized skills is one of the dumbest things I heard of it’s hard enough to get a legendary ship as is and getting what you want is basically impossible which reinforces the idea of a cash grab game I would love a skill change system to be put in place or give players a chance to re-roll ship skills at the very least and trinkets shouldn’t be using the same currency as for hero’s it’s hard enough to get certain hero’s as is and upgrading them and now with the introduction of trinkets my enjoyment has gone down significantly not because of the trinkets themselves but the system put in place to acquire the trinkets it’s nearly impossible for free to play players to keep up if you don’t plan to spend money from the start you put in a position where your going to fall behind it’s not a matter of if it will happen it’s a matter of when it will happen I hope they can cater to more to free to play players but in my experience I don’t believe they will I love this game but the direction it’s going I just don’t feel like playing anymore.Version: 1.1.171

Also it will randomly kick you out. I have gotten kicked out of the game atleast 6 or more times today. It likes to randomly crash ALL the time.
