✓ Addictive game but frustrating ads!I downloaded Makeup ASMR based on a tiktok ad which caught my attention, to see if it was anything similar to the ad. Surprisingly, this was not like those other clickbait games with ads different to the actual game! You got to treat clients by popping pimples/blisters, even treating infected ears, eyes ect. which got pretty disgusting but oddly satisfying! DO NOT play whilst eating. I then spontaneously played for 1+ hours — this game is addictive! However, it is quite repetitive, and you do not have the freedom to decide how to help the clients, the game does this automatically. I would like if you had the chance to choose how to help the clients instead of the game showing you what to do every time, there is no challenge. This is not my main issue, THE ADS ARE. EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU COMPLETE A STAGE TREATMENT TWICE, YOU GET AN AD! You spend more time on ads then you do the actually game which is jarring. This completely ruins the game, hence the 3 stars, at least decrease the amounts of ads by -X2, it’s ridiculous..Version: 2.1
✓ Just… NO!This is insane! The ads are just ridiculous! Now I’m sure you read this on most reviews for games recently, but this game is insane! You get a 10-20 second ad after every step in the game. I’ve timed it and it’s literally every 5-20 seconds! SECONDS!!!!! Every 5-20 SECONDS you get a 10-20 second ad! Nuts!! And it’s not even worth it! You just put your finger where they tell you and the game does everything for you. It’s not like the ad for the game at all! It might be ok for little kids, maybe 4 to 10, I’d like to say. But, with that said, they’d have to know how to skip through ads and the parent would have to be ok with the (for lack of a better word) ronchy/inappropriate ads they show. This developer does NOT monitor the ads they’re allowing their game to promote to little kids. But don’t worry!!… You can pay for VIP which removes all ads for a small fee of $4.99/week!!! And that’s another thing…. You get around $400 for completing a client, BUT when it comes to clothing and accessories, you get one option to choose from or else you have to pay $600 for what you want! But don’t worry!!… there are some options that you can… you guessed it… watch another ad for!! So every face mask, shirt, jewelry, etc., you can either use the one boring option they give you, pay $600, watch another God forsaken ad, OR pay $4.99/week for the VIP options. This game is NOT worth it. Don’t waste your time..Version: 2.2

✓ Not the bestThe quality of the game is good and the actions are fun but there are so many ads. After everything theres an ad that lasts about 1-2 minutes. Its really agitating. Also after you buy something (fake money) it disappears after that round so you have to either buy it again or watch a video. It repeats a lot of the same characters. As you’re applying eyeshadow or some other material it cuts you off mid way, kind of annoying that I don’t get to finish it. Theres not enough free options, like hair theres only one hairstyle that is funky in my opinion. This game would be a lot better without those qualities..Version: 2.0

✓ Read before downloading…..I downloaded this game because I wanted to see if the adds were true, and they were, MOSTLY….. So in the add video I watched, (there are so many different ones) you got to take the piercings off the ears and squeeze the puss out of the ears, you got to pop pimples and shave faces, and the way they portrayed it, it just looked so smooth! But in reality, you had to click everything to get it to do stuff, it’s not just one click, then you can watch the app do it. It starts to shave, then you have to click again to keep it going, and it’s slow, I mean SLOW. Now this is the part I’ve been waiting for for about a week, the game opening. Yep It’s the way the game opens. About 3 days after I downloaded it, I went to open it, and it loaded, but when it got to the last loading block, it just stopped. It just sat there. I tried closing out all my windows, getting on app again, nothing. I even shut down my iPad but nothing happened!! All you do for more than half of the appointment is move something a quarter of an inch so a robot can finish it. For example, if you’re cleaning their eye, you move a little napkin up to the eye and then the robot CLEANS it. You really don’t get to do it yourself like it says in the adds.
