✓ Needs workI love the game play and mechanics of this game, however there are some major things that need to be changed. First of all, make it where free to play players can play on at least two to four maps because it is very frustrating and annoying to play the same map over and over. Honestly I would pay so that I could play more maps, however for $5 dollars a month this would be a ridiculous investment to make, especially since the graphics of the game aren’t even that terribly great. Honestly just make it like $8 to unlock all the content and NO monthly charge afterwards. The second main thing that needs work is the graphics as although this game is fun the way it is, better graphic would make this game better. The only reason I don’t make this a one star review is because the game mechanics and playing is fun however since the graphics need work that’s a -1 star, and since free to play players only get access to ONE map and since it’s an outrageous $5 a month to play the premium version that’s another -2 stars off..Version: 2.4.7
✓ Good game… but…I just want to say, this is a very fun and addicting game. I love the customization, tactics, and the gameplay. Honestly, it is one of the best tactical shooters I’ve played (even if you don’t actually shoot). But the thing i hate about this game, is that most, if not everything is locked behind a paywall. I think that games with paywalls are just stupid, honestly, i think this game would be more popular if it wasn’t for the paywall. ✓ Awful gameI don’t know how this has 4.5 stars. They have clearly been buying 5 star ratings. First of all, £5 a month for a phone game is ridiculous and greedy. I can’t play for 10 hours when I first play the game because I need to send a game invite to attract more people? What’s that all about then. I have the iPhone 11 and I can’t even get past the character creation. It freezes as soon as I pick someone. Usually I give bad games a chance, but this one won’t let me. ✓ I’m already annoyedSo I just tried to play it and tried to do the tutorial to learn the game and couldn’t even finish the mission because the view adjusting portion must have been bugged or something. No matter how perfectly I lined it up or how many times I tried, it would just tell me it wasn’t lined up and it would never let me past it. I decided to just forget the tutorial after getting annoyed at it so I just went to do a mission and was going to learn along the way. Jokes on me! ✓ Breach your pocketThis was a fun game, free to play and all! Now with all this in app purchases and Game Center adds it has become meh for me... not as fun as it used to be. There was a mention of breach and clear 2, but it is only a addition to the original and makes you pay for everything. Maybe it can return to free to play again someday, and maybe in the true second edition you can select operatives that have special perks to fill out your team, and not just selecting a team to fill out your team. It'd be nice to see some more variety in the kinds of weapons available, maybe SMGs with range halfway between the myriad assault rifles (which all have pretty much the same stats) and the shotgun, and with higher rates of fire. There are multiple forces to buy (some ingame cash/some real cash) with many guns, maps, and modes to try out. The problem (and the reason why it's a 3 star review) is that this game lacks updates. There are many features that they could add to enhance gameplay. Here's a short list: 1). Set times to pause/ speed up soldiers. Petrov's Shard did this well by allowing players to decide when char. Could move and stop. 2). Maps (that are universally compatible with reasonably recent devices), guns, and gear. After a while, player's who've played longer can become tiresome of playing the same maps. ✓ Extremely DisappointedI am a returning player from when this game first hit the market. And I was excited when I finally seen it come back. However I had to start from scratch since I forgot my old Apple ID. That I could care less about because I wanted to grind through the game again. It is a GREAT GAME. I love everything about it. But now I can only play the first level because it forces you to pay the monthly subscription for game club which is COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS. As someone who spent money and bought all of the DLCs in the previous game I am very disappointed and frustrated that I have to pay MORE than what I previously paid just to enjoy a game I loved. The problem, however, is that the only way to access more than a minuscule portion of the game is to subscribe for $4.99 per month (which is actually $1.00 more than the game originally cost). While you do get access to Game Club’s other games, most people find this monthly cost prohibitive, especially those who will never play any game of theirs besides Breach and Clear. If Game Club makes Breach and Clear an individually purchaseable game with no monthly “rent” then I will definitely buy it, even if they raise the individual price. Why make a game thats free and then have them pay after they play ONE LEVEL or else they can’t proceed further! At that point just make them pay for the game and make the subscription an option guys. ✓ You’ll need to read this before getting this gameThis is outstanding game but kinda outdated. The biggest problem is when you start the game is you only game play the ONLY ONE mission then the rest of the missions is you have to PAY the MONTHLY pro trail thing. I can see why they did that but I would prefer play two missions in each different country’s. The game is pretty outdated cos the game from a couple years ago still looks the same. The game way the soldiers is they always look up the wall, and not look at the enemy’s sometimes. The game should have a remaster, and I wouldn’t really get this but give it a try you think it’s worth it. My opinion Not worth.Version: 2.4.3
✓ Fun, but very very limitedI love the game for what it is because it’s a classic game that’s very tactical. The only problem that makes this a two star review is how you have to pay $5.99 a month for the full thing?! I could get this for pc much much cheaper.. for instance after three months of playing (if you love this game you will play forever.) I would be paying $15 which is already concerning but even if you forgot about the game and had a subscription you would have payed $60 for it. That’s more than a AAA game.. ✓ You ruined the game!I have enjoyed the game since it was just uploaded to the AppStore. Downloaded it 4-5 times and completed it all over again because it was so engaging with no crap. However, you have decided to monetize and instead of building a product people want to pay for, you decided to penetrate our experience with your constant restrictions of actions and missions. If you have the necessity to force people to pay, to have minimal enjoyment from the game, then there is something totally wrong with your business model and team. ✓ HmmmmmmGreat Game , Love it BUT couple of Issues 1. I picked a Unit I liked , then got to the home screen and realised I could’ve changed the name of my Squad , no Name change after the creation and no “Reset” button 2(this is the biggy). ✓ A great game, however…I’ve been playing the game since 2013, then is disappeared from the App Store and I was not able to play it in its original form. I now realise the game is bought by the company which owns in now. As someone who’s been playing for so long I feel quite saddened by the fact I have got to pay to unlock certain guns and items of equipment. Furthermore I do not appreciate the fact I have restricted access to what otherwise would have been free DLC packs under the original Breach and Clear game title. I sincerely hope that this changes in the very near future for the special few which have had this amazing game for so long..Version: 2.4.38
