✓ Little pink shortsIf you don't mind listening to the same loud mouthed idiot on a permanent 40 second loop then this game might be for you. Personally it drove me mad listening to him over and over and over and over with no way of switching him off without muting the entire game. ✓ Casino controlThis game can be extremely fun. However, any time that you can spend hours on trying to win a challenge and then do the casino will make sure that you lose it all. You can have a full house only to lose to a higher full house etc etc. I have played for the past 5 years and it just keeps happening over and over again. I just won a challenge and I have just lost 94 out of 100 hands. ✓ V.2.34.1 BrokenThe game forces you to download this latest update and then brings you to the App Store where there is no download function button. But, of course, it won’t let you play unless you download the latest version. So, I tried deleting the app from my iPad and downloading the latest version, but once I did that, it wouldn’t connect to the internet...yet another circular firing squad. Someone at the company should suggest beta testing these updates before sending out “fixes” to perfectly fine working software. Before you ask, everything was tried multiple times in addition to restarting my iPad numerous times. Update: for the past week I have noted that the tables are filled with avatars of players who aren’t actually playing. They are not exactly bots as they make no bets and can only fold if one raises beyond the initial blinds. Apparently, scammers have learned that real players will eventually eliminate each other and one or both of the non-existent players seats will win or come in second without having to play a single hand. ✓ Loaded gameThis game is so loaded to make sure you loose it’s pathetic. I’ve been playing for close to 4 years , off and on. If you bet aggressively it will punish you every time by 1 besting your hand to another player. The only way to win is to play coy and lay back and hope that another player gets a decent hand and bets into you. Then he looses! It’s predictable, if you fold out with a looser hand, 50 to 75% of the time the board will double pair you or give you a full house, or some other ridiculously good hand to bate you to stay in. It’s nowhere near close to an actual poker game. Then every once in a while if you get disconnected you loose all your accumulated winnings. That happened to me with 30 Billion points. Just a drop kn the bucket, right! The one weak spot is the 9 player round robin. Just sit and wait till everyone else looses then when there are 3 or less go all in every time and eventually you’ll come out ahead. Its the only way I’ve found to build points to stay in the other games. ✓ Decent poker appThere is no chance that it's dealing randomly dealt cards - but apart from that and short show downs, it's a decent poker app with a clean simple interface that includes many real pay site functions. If you practice good bankroll management you shouldn't need to buy chips - the app literally throws complementary chips at you in addition to wins. ✓ Rigged results will drive you nutsI really enjoyed this app - until the penny finally dropped and I realised that just missing out on pots was less about bad luck and more about the game being rigged in favour of the computer generated players. Seeing full houses appear every ten hands, seeing picture cards account for half of all cards dealt, it's all fun until you realise the app is designed to peform at your expense. Because players are required to purchase chips with real money, the app needs real players to lose to computer players far more often than is realistic, otherwise the developers won't be able to sell you more real money chips. What starts out as fun becomes incresing frustrating as you attempt not to beat other players, but beat the rigged system itself. Also, the slider mechanism used to set bet amounts is ghastly. ✓ Game is riggedUsed to be a decent game, but around 4 months ago the tournaments stopped, and someone changed the algorithms and rigged the games with bots. Why? Probably to try and get people to buy chips instead of being able to earn them freely in the tournaments and challenges. Example: Holding King Ten, flop is Ace Ace King… I go all in, called by what I’m assuming is a bot, who shows a 4 / 7 …. Easy win right? Nope. Turn and river are 4 & 4 giving him a full house. Who calls an all in with 4 / 7 off suit against 2 Aces and a King showing ?? That’s the ridiculousness this game has turned into. And if you check everyone’s chips, they all show massive loses…. Takes me ages to get into the game because the loading screen gets stuck at 3% constantly have to redownload to try get it to work. Then when I finally get it working my character gets stuck in a game with a floating loading circle around it so I just have to sit there and watch my character either check or fold when the time runs out. ✓ Good gameIt's a good game but fails to get five stars because it downloads updates most times I load the game up from my iPad. I have the ap installed on my iPhone too however it doesn't need to download any updates. I use this ap most days, I am aware a recent update went out but it's as if the updates aren't saving and it's trying to load them everyday. I have just downloaded the updates again but this time using a VPN set to the UK to see if that makes any difference, I don't want to log in using Facebook, it's a bit annoying so many apps want you to do that. I don't particularly want to delete the ap and reinstall as my progress will be lost. If it doesn't state that updates need to be downloaded again (ie the VPN idea worked) I will edit this review in a week or so, if not please fix this problem! Otherwise five stars!! It is normal to lose 150 hands in a row . Almost entirely bots . You will rarely play with other humans . They just coded in thousands and thousands of bots and put you at what appears to be a table with other real people but it is an illusion . You will be the only human at what is not really a table but just a construct repeated millions of times . ✓ Don’t buy a new iPad w/o having a Facebook acct.Bought a new iPad. Had done the required backup to iCloud to keep my apps and data. Did the transfer and this app reset me to the beginning. I lost 1.3 TRILLION chips and my status. CS says the account can’t be restored without a Facebook account. I know this isn’t true for two reasons: 1) this is the scene iPad I have purchased since I began playing and I had no trouble restoring from back up last time; 2) whenever I have lost chips or failed to be rewarded with chips I won CS has handled the problem easily restoring my chips or giving me bonus chips for my trouble. I have played the game everyday under the name PBQ for more than two years. I have bought chips and enjoyed accumulating chips and status points. Now that is over. ✓ Theft of moneyI downloaded this game and was winning handily. The app kept giving me great bonuses and i was up to almost 20,000,000 and ‘boom’, i started to lose every hand. So, i thought I would purchase some chips to keep playing... big mistake. Now i cannot win a single hand, same players on tables winning huge hands after going all in with weak cards. ✓ Poor gameThe deals are rigged. I’ve lost over a billion chips and can’t get a winning hand. The game continues to try to get me to buy more chips. So does that mean if I give you money I will finally get a winning hand? I’m always getting bested by another player. The only chance you have is to hope you can get a decent hand and check, hoping to catch another player. The odds are worse than being in Vegas. I’ll be looking into other poker games. Maybe WSOP?
