✓ Fun Game; Buggy PortI played this for the first time, yesterday, at an arcade. The game is fun enough. Prior to purchasing the iOS version, I read one review talking of a particular scene not responding to the control input. I looked past it in hopes that it had been fixed. Now I have played for 10 minutes, myself, and there is a scene that has bugged out any time I try it; I make the correct selection, but the game does not load whatever comes next. I am all for keeping old games alive, but it is even less respectful to an audience to release a broken product and not continue making fixes. As a fan, and consumer, I implore all producers to create content that functions properly..Version: 2.0
✓ Good, but...I downloaded the Game on to my iPad Pro and from the moment I heard the music and intro sequence, I was back to being a teenager in the arcade again! It was great fun playing it but if you want to play in sequence you select home mode and it freezes straight after the whirlpool section, tried everything, reinstalling, rebooting etc but always freezes, shame because I was really enjoying myself!.Version: 2.0

✓ Needs an update for iOS 11Purchased this game. Works well on IOS 10 but as it is an older 32 bit game Apple advises it will not work on the upcoming IOS 11 and will need to be updated to 64 bit. If it is not updated the game will cease to function on the iPhone and be removed from the App Store. As this is a fairly faithful and enjoyable adaption of the arcade classic I hope the developers update it for the future.Version: 1.0
✓ Endless loopI love the game its awesome but its so hard but the hame is intended to be hard but there is one bug in the game on the falling platforms whenever i press left or right nothing happens and i go into a loop until i run out of lives i cant advance any further til this bug is fixed i read the reviews but i thought since they were from 2017 they were playing an old version and the new version was fixed NOPE.Version: 2.0

✓ Do this hack - Shift mode to HOME (not Arcade)After reading all of the reviews, I knew to expect the game to loop and not allow you past the “falling elevator” level. Yes, this happened to me. In settings, I shifted the MODE to be HOME instead of arcade. I was then able to finish the game! I would have given this 5 stars if the arcade setting worked. Enjoy!.Version: 2.0

✓ Bring Back The Older Version!All time favorite but things changed when they updated the game last year. It keeps looping on the falling platform elevator scene. ✓ Good game serious flaws thoughI like this port. very fun however I find it annoying sometimes. one reason is the guide. there’s an option to have the cheats on and that’s fine but every time I turn the cheats off it won’t work meaning I can’t win. the only way I can play the game without the cheat is to have this lousy overlay of an arcade cabinet which makes it hard to play. hope they fix this problem..Version: 2.0

✓ Endless Loop. Need a fix!!First off, I love this game! Brings back so many memories of playing it when I was kid. Controls take a bit getting use to, but it plays just like the arcade. All that being said, there’s an issue with the part of the game where Dirk is on the falling platform. You hit the control for him to jump and it doesn’t register. The next scene begins with him jumping off the platform, then going back on it again only to not be able to jump off and fall. This just keeps on repeating. Endless loop. Once the developers fix this issue, I’ll change my score. Hope they address this soon..Version: 2.0

✓ A disappointing gameI love the original very much but this falls short in several categories. First there are still glitches that need to be fixed, one is the stage where the floor drops out several times and gives opportunities to jump. I hit the bottom on the exact time and he doesn’t jump and I fall to my death every time and can’t advance. The second is I already purchased this game from the App Store and it still charged me $4.99 even though I already own the game. I will be addressing this as well. The sound and the visuals aren’t in sync which is kinda odd. Overall this game needs some major love poured into it by the developers if its going to hold a candle to its former glory..Version: 2.0

✓ A not so good port of the original game.Dragon’s Lair was a arcade game that used revolutionaly technology by using massive discs to output video. It was the grandfather of quick-time events. The game received a sequel and spin-off known as Space Ace, both didn’t do so well due to the Video Game Crash of 1983. The original game got so successful that it recieved many ports, most infamously, the NES version. As technology evolved, we got the console versions, the Steam version, and this version. The iOS version is not very good. Even though the entire game plays exactly like the original, it seems that the window of when to hit the correct button is offset from the video, resulting in cheap deaths. It would be cool if there was the ability to play the infamous drawbridge scene, but that most likely will not happen since this game hasn’t been updated in years. If you’re looking for a good port of the original Dragon’s Lair, this is definitely not one of them. I would suggest playing the console versions or the Steam version of the game..Version: 2.0

✓ Game and movement speed increased by twoThe game and movement speed is increased by two. Gameplay and artwork is identical, but reaction time is decreased by two times original 80’s game speed. I own two Dragons Lair coin-op machines from the 80’s. The laser disc version and the PCB version. I have compared the two originals and the mobile version and there is quite a difference in game speeds. You must react extremely fast to complete a move. The controls for this game are difficult to get use to and are very close together which makes it hard to play. The sword button is in a perfect location so that is fine. So just beware! If you purchase this game don’t expect it to be just like the original. Only thing that is exact is the graphics. The sound is different as well. Hope this helps you all. Game On!.Version: 2.0

When I wrote to the company’s tech support they responded telling me to turn the volume on my phone up as if that wasn’t obvious.
