✓ Bad newsI hate to tell you all, but since the iPad's last OS upgrade as of June 2015 it would seem that Space Ace HD no longer works on the current iPad setup. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it hasn't helped. And I have had no response from Digital Lesiure on fixing it. Save your money and don't bother..Version: 1.00
✓ Potential is hereThank you for bringing this to the iPad. If you improve stability (had it crash once so far in the second sequence), and utilize the swipe technology available t this platform so I can watch the animation rather than the d-pad at the corner of the screen, and perhaps two finger tap for energizing and shooting, I will happily give this classic a 5 star..Version: 1.00
✓ Dude… Dude! I mean, kinda heartbreaking…One can’t even get past the first challenge, even if one has been able to get pretty far on Dragon’s Layer (from the same developer / publisher). Yeah, I know I’m old and don’t have the reflexes that I did can when these games were in their original laserdisc form in the arcades, but I’m also old enough to know when an app is totally buggy and in a way that can be discerned within just a couple minutes or two of initial gameplay. ✓ Love these type of gamesI'm giving -3 stars because there is no movie option at the end. In Dragon's lair, after you beat it, you unlock the option to watch the whole game instead of playing it. Why does this game not have that? Half the time I miss the cool animations because I'm so concentrated on making the right maneuver. These games are beautiful. I wanna watch them!.Version: 1.00

✓ Plays Terrible Don’t BuyEver since this latest update, they’ve removed key things. The ability to change the control size and switch from left to right. Also if you set the controls to no hints the movement displays disappear and you can’t play. The classic arcade screen is extremely terrible and unnecessary. I’ve had these on my iPad for over 3 years and loved them but since the update I’ve deleted all of them. If I could get a refund I would but instead I’d warn everyone don’t get it till they fix these issues..Version: 2.0

✓ If you don't know what a laser disc isOr were not alive in 1983 you probably won't appreciate this game. For fans of the original it is disappointingly buggy. You cant get thru the first scene using the "table" controls setting and it still forgets to reverse the controls when some scene are flipped horizontally. But it does briefly take you back to that forgotten decade if you want to go..Version: 1.00

✓ Finished in about 20 minutes!! Too short!!I finished this in probably 20 minutes or so. I thought maybe there were other levels, but when I went back to the game I only saw the main game. There were no other levels to unlock. While the graphics are incredible, the game is WAY too short and is most definiltey not worth $5. If you are looking for a game you can play for weeks (or even days), don't buy this. If you grew up with this style of gaming in the 80s and don't mind a very short game and don't mind spending $5 for maybe half an hour of entertainment, go for it. Overall I'm very disappointed..Version: 1.00

✓ Movie quality could be better ?Even though the title says HD version, the CG quality is not very satisfying, it can be pixelated when the action is intense (inferior to the PS3 version). Also the effective area of the four direction buttons in "table control mode" should be much larger !!!.Version: 1.00
