✓ Great apps, but...The entire Lumen Trails product line needs to be named properly. Case in point on my iPad mini with retina wifi, latest iOS version! I have all these apps in their own app folder on the iOS home screen, and while the colour coded icons for each app helps to identify them individually, most are named "tracker" or Lumens Trail below the icon. The colour codes are great... but can only become used to them over a long period of time filled with too much of a trial and error just to find the app in need. Or returning to the App Store whenever finding a need to enter data and searching in purchased for Lumens, then match the correct name to the colour. Too much of a tedious learning curve.Version: 8.5.30

✓ Great....But. Ads!!Update?? Why the ads? Thats a deal breaker. I would like to ignore them, but I just can't. They are right where I need to type. I tried to use it but every time I get redirected. You guys were awesome and if you look at my previous review, I said better than most. But honestly, I can't see paying a fee EVERY MONTH! Maybe if you decide to change to a small one time fee, then maybe I'll come back. But other than that I'll just delete you. The variety of different features make it very useful and convenient when I need to customize my own layout. I find myself using it frequently throughout the day. I would like to see more options and choices for how I can customize my files. More color and graphic options, background options, font choices etc. I still enjoy using the app and it's still much better than most for versatility..Version: 10.3.1
✓ Use to be greatNow a subscription based app for $10/month. It was a nice app, but definitely not worth it, especially if you had already bought the app. That aside, I really don't like the new design. For example, you can't see the due date for items on your list unless you click on it and it takes you to a different screen. There are other apps. You might have to find several ones to do all lumen trails can, but the developers got greedy and screwed over the people who had already bought the app. What else will they do?.Version: 10.3.11

✓ Lots of options, but comprehensive viewI just installed this today. I want to track how I spend all my time everyday in 10 broad categories. One feature I thought this app had, but now can't find, is a calendar view that will show a daily summary of how I spent my time in all categories. I can view one category for a week or a month or a year, but not all categories for a given day. Not sure if I think this is worth $20 for the premium upgrade..Version: 8.8.5

✓ Counterintuitive user interface, confusing nonfunctional buttons, very versatile and usefulThis app is a bit fuddy-duddy, and has not been updated in a long time. However, it gets the job done, albeit with some very confusing nonfunctional buttons and limited, counterintuitive entry methods. I am trying to use the "bedtime" template to track my rise time each morning. However when I tap the "Add current time" to the journal entry field, this does not update the time field in the upper right-hand corner. The user is forced to manually click and type in the time. Otherwise, the time will not show up on the monthly calendar view for tracking purposes. Unfortunately, the task of manually entering a time presents new challenges and limitations. For example, if I type in 500, this gets interpreted as minutes, converted to hh:mm format and shows up as "8:20". Or I would need to type "7" ":" "0" "3", to get 7 hours, 3 minutes. There is no way to indicate a.m. or p.m. for these entries, which I suppose is not crucial, however it would be nice. After all, it is possible to get a.m. and p.m. in the journal entries, so why not in the main data entry field in the upper right-hand corner? The plus and minus buttons do not serve any function in this template, which is confusing. When I press them, my data entry gets deleted and replaced by a "+" or a "-". It is a steep learning curve for such a simple app, and the functionality is still lacking in many ways. It is a promising app because of its versatility – it is a great idea to have an app that can track just about anything. However it needs some re-tweaking of the user interface, as well as some serious rethinking about the various ways in which people would want to use an all-purpose tracking app..Version: 10.3.11

✓ One app with six different names?I bought this app a few years ago for £5.99. I don't use it much because it's cumbersome to setup and navigate, but every now then it's handy to get my goals back on track. I now find that the app is ad supported and I have to pay a subscription to get the ads removed. I contacted the developer and was told the change in licensing was necessary to support ongoing app development, but in the years I've had the app it hasn't changed. No new features, apart from a bit of repackaging to try and draw in more sales. I think this app is failing due to lack of development. It's cumbersome to navigate and far easier to use multiple trackers (that do a better job) and switch between them with the home button. This app wasn't worth the £5.99 I paid for it and so it certainly isn't worth a regular subscription. I hope the developer is listening? All I can say is that I'm glad I didn't buy my car from Lumen Spark, or I might wake up morning and find it looking like an F1 car covered with sponsors ads. I would then receive a letter telling me that even though I bought the car, I must now also rent it if I want the sponsors ads removed. Stay away from this dodgy developer and all his other apps :).Version: 10.3.1
✓ Upgraded so I could get ads?Paid for this app a while ago and it worked fine. No ads. I think I paid $6.99 for the app. Updated the app today and now ads appear. I have to pay an additional $1.99 per month to remove them! I would rather not have updated..Version: 10.3
✓ RIP OFF CON ARTISTSA good while ago, I BOUGHT (with good money) 3 versions of this app, when it was Lumen Trails. And a very good app it was too. Then, the new Lumen Tracker was developed, along with Lumen Notes. Don't worry, we were told, we will continue to support Lumen Trails. Now, all the apps have "updated" with ads. And an "option" to remove them by paying a monthly fee. When I ALREADY paid for the apps in the first place. In my opinion, this is nothing short of a con by greedy developers. I intend to delete all the versions of Lumen Trails (which have now turned into Lumen Tracker) from all my devices..Version: 10.3
✓ Limited use, poor customer serviceThe app is of limited use as individual tracked activities must each be viewed separately on their own calendars (excepting the current day listing which contains all items together). This is a pain if you are tracking more than one related activity over several days. I would prefer if related activities could be shown together. For example, if you are tracking your time jogging & walking, you can see today's activity for both on the same screen. However, for any other day, to see the values for both jogging and walking, you would have to view two separate calendars (that do NOT include both activities). Someone known to me contacted the developer two times about this issue, but both emails were ignored. If they had demonstrated better customer service, I might have given the app another star, but to just ignore customer requests for help is not good in my book..Version: 8.16

✓ Data lostI have been using this app for years and have never had any issues...until they decided to combine all of their different apps into one. Every single time I’ve opened the app over the past several weeks, I have been asked to transfer my data into the new “improved” app and I’ve always selected yes. A couple of days ago, frustrated that I am still being asked to transfer data, despite having done it several times already, I tapped on “remind me later.” Now I am missing a boatload of data and the app has not asked me to transfer data again.
