✓ Buy The App!!I’m a somewhat new drummer and was looking for an app to help with practicing rudiments…. This is the app you need. It has a great video intro to each rudiment along with a loopable follow along notation and metronome. Seriously, best purchase for my practice regime..Version: 2.85
✓ Massive Amount of ContentThis is by far the best drum tuition app I have (and I have most of them). There is enough to give beginner drummers a nudge in the right direction and plenty to keep more advanced drummers busy on the kit for years. The tuition videos are very detailed and tell you everything you need to know to get started. One bugbear is the the tuition video plays each time you select a new excercise, which can be a bit annoying. Overall though, easily a 5 star app. If you're looking for something new to learn/ practice on the drums you won't be disappointed here. It's a serious attempt at a comprehensive drum tuition app with masses of content you won't find anywhere else. I hope there will more from Mike in the future - maybe a Drum Gym 2?.Version: 1.3.0
✓ Really enjoy this appI use this on an iPad and really enjoy using it. Mr. Sturgis explains and demonstrates the rudiments on a pad, and then at fast and slow speed on a snare. The notation is below so you can see what he's playing. Then the practice screen lets you set your own tempo and practice along. Having played for 48 years, and never been really good at the rudiments, this is helping me catch up on what I should have done many years ago. Great stuff.Version: 2.1

✓ Love it!!!This is perfect. As a beginner, this kind of clear and easy to follow guide to rudiments and paradiddles is invaluable. Love the play along tempo graphic as it really helps to get a rhythm going. I have now made this part of my daily practice routine as I slowly move through the different disciplines gaining speed at my own pace. Not being funny but you can’t buy a second hand pair of drums sticks for £2.49 so to get this kind of quality tuition and practice material for that is a bargain. ✓ Amazingly goodThis is absolutely the best app I could find on rudiments. Each rudiment has a how to video in slow and regular speeds.
