✓ Game requires a keyboard to play, but doesn't recognise the bluetooth keyboard.The help files and tutorial all refer to keyboard shortcuts and commands but the game doesn't recognise the bluetooth keyboard (and I couldn't find a way to bring up the onscreen keyboard). I could not complete the tutorial because around the 4th step it required me to create a group of villagers using SHIFT-1 and recall them using CTRL-1. The controls that are usable by touch are too small to touch easily and the tooltips required to understand what the different commands do are hidden by your finger while pressing the buttons. I loved this game on PC, but it is unplayable rubbish on iPad..ParakletaVersion: 1.0.0

✓ Hasn't being properly ported to iOSIt's a shame but this game feels totally unfinished as an ipad app. For £3.99 you'd think they'd invest a bit of time and effort to rethink the UI for the ipad instead of clumsily dumping old PC RTS menus and mechanics on us. It's so non-intuitive to use that I ended up closing the app in frustration. Also, the graphics should probably be re-rendered, this app looks awful on retina screens. ✓ Crashes!!Firstly I will say the game looks good, but even with a tutorial to help explain what to do the controls are way over complicated. Even my ipad agrees since it shuts down the game repeatedly! If a game can't get through a tutorial without crashing it shouldn't even be on sale in my opinion. ✓ Terrible so farHorrible user interface. Apparently ported from PC, but not updated for touchscreen devices. For example, the help file shows only keyboard commands, and tooltips pop up under the user's finger and are almost impossible to read. ✓ I tried really. User interface too confusedI normally like this kind of game but the interface was too hard to use. It took several minutes just to figure out how to move. I never even made it past the first tutorial, getting stuck chasing my dude around the screen while trying to get him to marry a woman. After he hid among the trees and went indoors, I just gave up on the relationship. He's just not ready for that kind of commitment. ✓ Pathetic and buggy!!!My gosh, don't you devs know how to test games before selling?! What a frigging mess this is. Even your help and some of the settings are for a PC! I set the screen for lower resolution so I can read things and I lose the directional star behind a menu so I can't move. There are so many problems that it's a waste of time to describe them all. ✓ Requested a refund!The tutorial and in-game help both reference key combinations such as using Shift, Ctrl, and the number keys to select, deselect and assign a number to a group. And the scroll settings are edge, tile, and "Third Mouse Button". You will use the arrow buttons and the mini-map to scroll instead (ugh). Text appears underneath where you tap, so is unreadable, and so forth and so on. Basically, the game is unplayable and Apple should have refused it..Argel1200Version: 1.0.0

✓ GlitchyHaving decided to take a gamble and pay for a game with no reviews and no free demo I was really hoping it would be worth the money as the graphics looked amazing and I love these styles of games. Sadly I've spent over 3 hours trying to play through the initial tutorials only to find I can't get any further as it won't let me place a specific building even though I have the resources etc to do so. The simple point and place or point and move is so glitchy. It's telling that the controls are written with keys as if playing on a pc rather than an iPad. I've tried a free play game and a mission but even the simple idea of moving someone to a specific place to open a chest or trying to place a building is proving practically impossible. Needless to say the idea of having to attack/defend in a battle situation would just be impossible whilst my hero gazes longingly from afar refusing to "go to" and my barracks would only be a dream if I can't even get a simple farm building placed and built at the outset. I'm really sorry but this is just not worth paying for and I've had to ask for a refund. ✓ Not ready for ipadWish I had believed the other reviews. Don't buy this. I adored this on the PC and was delighted when I found it for the ipad. The controls are too fiddly and tenuous, sometimes they work, sometimes not. The map only scrolls when you use two fingers on it, this doesn't come intuitively at all during play. The worst of all however is placing buildings. 90% of the time it just doesn't happen. Like I said I know how to play this game, you can only build in the lit up areas, yada yada, but it just is impossible to progress if you can't build a simple dwelling with the ease you should be able to. ✓ Horrible controlsThe tutorial is nearly impossible to complete. Several steps refer to keyboard shortcuts, as does the help menu. I had to click on icons through trial and error to figure out what they did. The very first step, to move a person across the field, took many tries to finesse into working. ✓ Not good for iPadThis has been ported from a PC version of the game. This has not been reprogrammed or designed for a touch interface. Even the tutorial tells you to use keyboard commands but there is no digital keyboard that I could find. You have to use arrows or touch the corners to move the map. Not touch and drag like you would expect. All the icons and buttons are tiny. I'm very disappointed and want a refund. It's sad because I was really looking forward to this game.
