✓ Good, butIt is a good game, but be aware that it is hard, and it takes a lot of grinding to unlock the cards and bonuses to give you any chance at all. I've played maybe 20 or 30 games and I'm still well away from being able to get far into it. Not because I'm that crap, but because sometimes you just hit an enemy that is unwinnable. As for those Genie wishes cards, talk about over powered and irritating... Worth a look though. Definitely don't regret getting it..Goonerman158Version: 1.10

✓ UnbalancedThis game is so unbalanced. You can have all the spells you need to defeat most of the monsters in a room and then a rare will spawn and absolutely destroy you. The Sphinx enemy is completely overpowered for no reason. I made it to the second floor and the only way I could get to the boss was by killing a sphinx. I had at least 60 heath but was playing a mage class. The Sphinx has a broken ability where he can make you unable to play certain cards, but instead of rotating between what cards I can and can’t play it just stayed at spell cards. So the entire match I was unable to use spell cards. I was using a mage build with the best spells but non were effective. I finally beat him with the few melee abilities I had and right in the way of the boss was another rare Sphinx... TWO IN ONE ROOM. I’ve been stuck on floor 2 for weeks now because of the broken enemy mechanics. Fix your game I’m on normal mode.IqdjqfjqjrhVersion: 1.12

✓ A Random CrapshootI would really like this game to be more strategy focused than a seeming random crapshoot. You build a deck as you go, your opportunities to modify the deck as you go are super limited, which is fine, until you craft one that wrks to get you past one level and get to the next and realize you can do literally nothing to win. So you lose. Then you maybe get some small pittance of an achievement which helps you a tiny bit and you roll that dice again for the random crapshoot. The leveling is basically busted too. The level of the encounters is not consummate with your own level. This game is really just super rough and needs some help..JohnPostlethwaitVersion: 1.12

✓ Bug foundGame saves are buggy, esp after selecting 'upgrade' with a 'level up' the game doesnt record which cards were upgraded. If i continue to play after i level up, it will remebr the upgrade. If i deliberately exit to save after levelling up, it saves the upgrade. If i close the app after levelling up, i am one level higher with replenished health but no upgraded cards :(.WisperrVersion: 1.10

✓ I get this is a rogue like, but...First off: great idea, pretty well executed. Perhaps this game gets better with more time. That’s the rub, though. It appears to need so much time devoted to it that it saps my will to play. After grinding and grinding, I have cleared the second level just once. And I died on the very first level on the easiest setting (I’m not getting any extra bonuses for playing on easy? Is there a bug?). It’s starting to make the grind very irritating indeed. ✓ Impossible cheatersI know this is a rouge-like I know they are meant to be hard. But now I am sure this game cheats. I had a priest on third floor that had to get by a level 8 warrior. Three turns in a row it played 10 attacks. Basically this means an enemy which is suppose to have a hand size 0f 5 had a hand size of 10 and was suppose to have 18-20 attack cards had over 30. Attack card are physical damage cards that do not draw other cards. I have never had a single run where any class could tank 80 damage over 3 turns. ✓ Long Term Character Progression AnnoyingThis game isn't really fair. I looked online for advice with how hard it is and most people recommend you keep playing to earn achievements and then your characters start with more health and gold making future plwythroughs easier. Uh.... I'd rather the only factor that changes (outside of buffs found for that life) is my personal skill. Not a fan of having to put hours into a mobile game to unlock the proper difficulty..SpamspamspammVersion: 1.12

✓ No XS Max supportThis game deserves 5-stars, no brainer. But this game literally is played on the half of the screen on XS Max. Not even Plus size, literally half of the screen. Not sure what the deal is but needs an update. Crazy thing is, it’s optimized for the big iPad Pro. As soon as it’s updated, I’ll give it 5 stars and become its biggest advocate. ✓ Gets old fastI'm close to clearing the second level and I have no idea why I'm still playing. After you figure out how the game works you're just grinding levels, as far as I can tell. Yeah, you get new abilities along the way and you get a little more powerful each time you play, but it's pretty much the same stuff over and over..Dave______Version: 1.12

✓ Really needs an update for modern phones.The 4:3 aspect ratio is rotated into landscape on modern iPhones. The whole UI needs a big update to fit modern devices. It’s not even the graphics that need updating, which would be incredible, it’s just the antiquated layout more suited to older devices. Your experience may be better on an iPad. The UI even has the clock and icon bar at the top of the screen rotated 90 degrees..Liofa73Version: 1.12

✓ Not GoodPlaying this on an XR and it only uses 2/3 of the screen. that combined with tiny buttons makes this an unenjoyable experience. on an iPad... ...it's much more playable, but the art is bad, and not in a charming or nostalgic way, imo. the gameplay is fine, I guess. reading the other reviews leaves me a little perplexed. it's really nothing special. something like Meteorfall in the same genre is MUCH better, I thought. would not pay anything if I had to do it over again..Zombie_Hell_MeVersion: 1.12

✓ Confused by the positive reviews ...Obviously the game is visually poor but the reviews I read seemed to imply the gameplay made up for it - no. For a deck builder I found the gameplay nowhere near the standard of Dominion (not available on iOS) or even Hearthstone. UPDATE: My original review was a bit harsh. Upgrading my rating to 3/5. ✓ Very repetitiveI like the concept, even though it's a simple card fighting game with simple graphics. It's quite addictive working your way through the monsters, until you get sick of dying every few minutes (even on easy difficulty). ✓ Better chance at winning the lotteryThis game is not deep at all. All the cards do basically the same thing, and there is no strategy behind this at all. It is just hoping that your lucky enough to get some good cards. ✓ Algorithm to waste your timeIt’s pretty cut and clear, it’s meant to waste time. Fine if the game was actually enjoyable, but it’s like pulling teeth. To get better cards, you need to die. Which means they understood that it is not at all possible for a first run to get farther than the second level. Makes me wonder if they have a chart they made that shows hours put into the game relative to how far you can get. I’m my opinion if you’re going to do something like this “game” tried to do, make it possible to win via skill/good choices, instead of forcing you to grind out the necessary points/cards to progress. ✓ OofI loved slay the spire, I was told to play this game. I gave it a shot for a few hours and it was utterly disappointing. Complete waste of time for me. I can definitely see where Slay the spire got some of its influence. But this? God awful game. This game appears to be quite heavily luck based instead of skill. There’s little point in even saving cards for use later. Complete slog. Press play all press hourglass rinse wash repeat. An idle clicker game has more depth than this..DantebelmosteVersion: 1.12
