Poor customer service. Disregard to earning dispute and refusal to pay when driver notices discrepancy in earnings. Having to ask drivers at the end of every trip whether accept the price/fare, which is very hard to calculate every single trip to determine whether you've been fairly paid or not, due to time constraints it is impossible because at most cases drivers might have accepted another trip during their current trip. This should be reviewed to avoid delays to rider journey. Bolt should take responsibility into investing in app that can accurately calculate trip's metre readings, by doing so, element of trust would restored..Version: DI.3.31

ReviewThis is for bolt australia. Notifications didn’t pop up in the beginning, ive lost like3+ rides today coz same issue, at some point they’re coming up but is very random. Also customers who cancel last minute should be charged a minimum fee , I crossed the whole harbour bridge 15 min from cbd-just to be let down by a customer, specifically in a busy period including rain weather, unacceptable. One customer who canceled first asked if it was okey to pay cash, said yes coz i know thats how it works but if I hadn’t tapped the app while already driving ( which i dont like and should not do) I wouldn’t have known about it ..Version: DI.3.32

Inconsiderate boltBolt started off well in Abuja Nigeria, practically begging and doing all sorts of convincing to get drivers, their price was okay and commission was 15% , drivers were happy to abandon Uber whose percentage was 25, Uber was literally chased out of business. Not it’s so unfortunate that bolt feel they’ve arrived, bolt has now become so arrogant and inconsiderate of their drivers who are supposed to be partners, they have now increased their percentage to 25, prices of of things are going up everyday in Nigeria but it’s only bolt prices that is being reduced without consultations, bolt conveniently block and suspends driver without proper investigation when a rider reports, bolt should please review their price because drivers here in Abuja are suffering, most drivers here are paying their partners #30,000 every week, with that price rate, drivers stay on the road 24/7 hence exposing themselves to dangers and accidents just because they want to meet up with their payment, bolt makes money on commission and makes money while the apps are running, this is modern day slavery, something has to be done.Version: 29.0

Your new update is frustratingWhy reduce a driver score or rating when a client cancels rides that’s too bad and…what if while going to pick up the client you encounter traffic ? No profiling and modern slaveryBolt should focus on profiling of riders to ensure the safety of drivers . All riders should be required to verify his/her account with a valid I.D for safety purpose. Also, most times; after receiving a request of about 3km distance to pickup, rider cancels when driver is almost there without no compensation to d driver. Poor customer serviceSuch a bad app and customer service to their drivers. The 2nd night in a row I have been unable to work as the app has locked me out as I have been unable to verify my identity (app fault). After the 2nd time it failed I called customer services and explained the issue, this was yesterday evening. They said they will try to reset the link. It has been almost 24hrs and it's still not reset for me to try again. I can't even go to the Hub as its closed on weekends. I am a 5 star rated driver..Version: 28.0

Take order and navigationThe order picking up is difficult especially when you are driving. It will be much easier if it can change to just tap the screen instead of swiping. Undeveloped appBolt has been on the market for few years now but never developed its drivers app to be fully operational. Build in navigation is a crap, driver destination has never worked, unnecessarily recording rejected trips in my trip history, pick up map errors, I can’t see my hours driven , for airport pick ups doesn’t snow which car park, level and row the customer has requested the trip, app crashes from time to time and I am unable to login ( today shows invalid data base when try to login), sometimes trips requests are 10 miles away and the actual trip is 1.5 miles. Decent earnings but app and support are not great.There is decent traffic on there but the app crashes alot. Sometimes you cant end a trip but have to close the app and open again and then be able to end. Support is lucky if you get through to them. Recently I had a PCN from TFL for stopping at red line before 7 so have to prove via job sheet however Bolt job sheet does not go past 2-3 weeks and they dnt give you access to past job history. Safety issueBolt is not helping drivers at all. Everyone in Ghana is aware about the criminal activities that occur usually at night. Some of this criminals have seen the bolt app as a platform they can exploit. I've been robbed before by a rider which when I reported to bolt, they didn't give me any positive feedback which meant if I was killed they will not show any concern. It is so obvious that they are just using drivers for their own selfish gains. Riders should be verified just like how drivers are verified. Worse experiencesThey don’t care about drivers. When they offer job it shows only 2 or 3 min away but when you received the offer it shows about 10 min. It’s a misguided to a driver. New updateI don’t normally write reviews and I don’t know if bolt actually reads their reviews here are couple of things that needs to be done , you choose your pick up radius and it gives you a request two to three miles away from you and let’s say you accept the trip will the passenger wait for you when there’s rush hour?? Also the new update shows pickup location, mileage and the price but driver doesn’t know where drop off location is as it only says region 1 or 2 or 3 so how do you expect the driver to accept a trip not knowing where they’re headed?? If I want to cancel a trip request why do you need to add another tab (confirmation) that I want to cancel the trip? You get behind the wheels while driving and have to press the screen multiple times which doesn’t make any sense, make the app easier to use for your drivers . If I’m completing a trip and decide to take a break or just finish work no matter how many times I press stop new request I keep getting new request so if that option is available why don’t you make it work?? Let’s say you just cancelled or didn’t accept a trip why is there a tab on your screen that says cancelled trip and we have to press (close)?? I’ll mention this again if I as a driver don’t know my drop off location I will not accept that trip and I’m sure most drivers feels the same way so it’s time to talk to your app developers to sort this out otherwise it’ll not be long before you see drivers working for you..Version: 45.0

Terrible techThe app is pretty horrendous. My app has been blocked for over 2 weeks, as bolt uses a 3rd party to verify identity and my iphone blocks it without asking me, therefore the process doesn’t work. Also they have increased their fee to 20%, when it was 15% it was okay as it was worth putting up with the bad interface to save 10% compared to uber but now its definitely not worth it. Plus they have changed the pricing equation and now the 2.5base is no longer included. So overall there is no reason to use this app over uber, in my opinion in London. It Need Improvement1. You can not message rider at all, especially when you call rider and phone doesn’t work because most of rider use overseas number. 2. Cancellation fees has to be introduced because you drive 4 km to 10 km or even less or more, when you reached your pick up point, rider cancel the ride. Ratings System has to be improved, we get most rider with low ratings such as below 4 ( 3.1, 3.5, 3.8 or even 2 star twice with me ). We can see their rating if request just come in but we can’t see rating if you get a new request while finishing previous trip. And if we give them 4 or 5 star, no problem but when they give us 2 or 3 star it effect our ratings immediately. Or if we cancel 1 or 2 rides continually, our account will be cancelled or deactivated straight away for 24 hrs or for longer period. This is not fair at all. Most driver use this app as their main source of income, if account had been blocked or deactivated, it effect hugely on driver. Destination trips is just a joke.Not working the function. And new update make whole app too slooow. Should show from where to where is goingDriver should be able to see where the passenger going in the app on the map. For example, if someone is going from China Town to Waterloo it should show in the screen beside displaying the postcode. Uber Driver app shows that, so it’s easy to decide if you want to jump in that area or NOT. I’m a Perth based Uber driver and I was hoping for a significant competitor to Uber and have been pushing for Taxify to come to Perth. Very inconsiderate driversThis app is designed to favour the app owners and not the users (drivers), especially with the recent introduction of “driver score”. It automatically blocks drivers account when a few records of uncompleted rides occur, not putting into consideration many reasons beyond the driver’s control that may occur (passengers requesting for rides and not showing up, forcing the driver to cancel, passengers simply requests and cancels rides themselves for many reasons e.g searching for a better car). And sometimes, it’s drivers would cancel when a passenger is going to an unsafe area or when they sense that the passenger(s) could be of threat. I feel the app should have been designed in a way that it also puts into consideration to a large extent the drivers and not just treat them like trash..Version: 29.0

Scam app - don’t drive for BoltWARNING - was Don’t drive for Bolt. Just accepted a 155 mile job, got to the end of the journey and couldn’t end the job, tried restarting the app and the job had ended. I was then sent an email requesting information on the job. Now the job says price review, there’s no driver support to contact. Called the passenger line to be told they cannot help me and I probably won’t receive any payment on the due date. Completely messed up my finances for next week now as I won’t make it back in time to put in another shift on another driver platform..Version: DI.3.12

DeleteUbers in supreme court for having treated drivers poorly several years ago BUT they the only app that imposes no penalty for declining trip requests and gives you complete utter freedom as a self employed driver. BOLT imposes permanent bans if you decline more than 50% - but their app dosent work in the first place. They claim you can set the radius from which jobs will come and that jobs outside the radius would not be counted BUT they count them all and then overnight you get banned and guess what - there is no dispute resolution or discussion. Self imposed penalties, faulty app, gps hardly works but no one taking BOLT to court. DriverI worked with Bolt for 6 months as a driver. I think this is the most ridiculous application available to drivers. It does not give the driver the slightest right and treats the driver like a slave. If you are delayed for 20 minutes for the passenger and the passenger does not show up, he will not pay you any amount. If the passenger does not pay, not even 1 cent of the plan will compensate. If the passenger steals from you, the program still does not give any warning to the passenger. Modern day slaveryTill date two customers got free rides from me amounting to 8,000 which I reported to the customer care. To my surprise instead of getting a refund with compensation I was blocked under the guise of low rating. Rating that I found out was affected by those same customers who fled with my money. Partners my foot! The company is only after profit and they do not believe in the African dream. The African dream is not to be rich but to be successful and balanced. I have no problem with their modus operandi but please do not lie to unsuspecting people that you have partners because you don’t! A driver who likes this app is probably just done with idleness. Worst Application EverReally bad app, in this day and age we still have really poor application. Navigation is the worst looks like you are in 1980’s video game. Trying to figure out where to go. It doesn’t do what It advertise. You set your radius for jobs but you still get the jobs double the radius away. X and XL job faced with this issueIt is an excellent platform to work with although not suitable for XL drivers. The system initially states the type of job yet as soon as it is accepted the job type is nowhere to be found. At times, with follow up jobs we can not see what the next job is. As soon as we go to clients pick up - there is no record of the client booking type, X or XL. There are other BOLT competitor who always have their jobs displayed from start to finish. As an MPV (XL) driver we always are always faced with this issue with BOLT. I have had to call the office many times to establish the number of passengers. Bolt AppCan some one tell me why does bolt have to track me 24/7. On iPhone it won’t let me log in and when I do keeps signing me out because I will only let them track when online. Bad appWorse app to work with... there’s a bonus if you complete 15/16 jobs and keep your activity score above 85% you get the bonus but your activity scores changes accordingly on how much jobs you complete, so if you decline or not accept the jobs your activity score goes down, but the reality is, the app keeps crashing so we’re not able to accept many jobs not because we don’t want it but because of this cr*p app, it should be improved in order to work properly because right now it’s just not good at all and lots of us work in order to get the bonus and at the end of the day we can’t get it... again because the app is absolutely sh**! And no driver support to help any of us and when you msg sometimes take up to 2 days to actually someone get back to you, let’s see if I can get at least a response on my chat after leaving this amazing review saying how most all of us drivers feel about the app as I already spoke with many drivers. Useless companyPoor customer service for drivers. Not clear terms and conditions. All rules for harassing drivers. It shows 2 minutes away on the app when you accept trip, you see it is 5-6 minutes away. Setting radius of trip request is rubbish, when set 0.6 miles radius jobs coming 2-3 miles away. Acceptance rate threshold is not clear. They will block you if your acceptance rate is below 50 percent. If your trip fare over £70 it goes review takes several days clear it. Three days before I got one call in Four km radius approx 11:20 pm from Narre Warren area. They booked bolt and Rider sat in my car (two boys) almost 20-22 age. After that they told me, they need to come back again same location, and they were not operating bolt apps and someone else booked the ride for them. When we reached on destination 44 km, they called his friend to change address back to same location. I started drive again back to their same location. And in between we stopped at MC Donald approximately 10-12 minutes, but apps continue working, It’s all things operated from bolt apps at home. I followed everything from apps. Then I drooped them on apps end location. They Spoilt my car with spilling milkshakes and another foods Stuff, and they stopped my money $140 from bolt apps I really didn’t know the reason. I informed everything to bolt team by email and apps, but they didn’t reply a single words. Amount was almost $140 for 83.1 KM. I lost my money as well as car cleaning cost because of bolt team. Please Don’t trust to bolt in any condition. I’ll approach Australian Driver Accreditation team to take legal action on this matter. Safety issuesThere are some issues with the App that are actually safety problems. You need to allow the App to orient to the direction of travel, not be constantly oriented to North, because unless you are travelling North the map is always upside down or sideways, which means you need to "look" at the map instead of just a quick glance, so your eyes are off the road for much longer than is ideal. You should also include a turn list so the driver has a better idea of the next direction. You should also introduce a cancellation fee for riders. Back to backI don’t mind back to back jobs but it come when we are very close to drop off that mean we need to considerate on the road as it’s close to turn into street or road then anew request come up and you need to click on which takes time and the navigation disappears from the screen and take time to get it back on the screen which make you some times miss the turning for the current passenger in the car happens with me few times. App keeps closing in backgroundApp needs to be updated to constantly be able to run in the background like how uber and Waze “actively using your location” Even with the settings for location always on , if the app is left running in the background for 3 minutes whilst you drive around , the app will close and therefore require re-logging in and going back online. Bad app, Not user friendly at allThis App needs a lot of work. As I driver I am unable to contact my passengers to say where I am, every time I get an automated voice that tells me I can’t connect, I do not have this problem in Uber, it may benefit you to also add an option that passengers and drivers can text each other like the Uber app. The navigation system you use is terrible and the car jolts along the map, if you made it more like Waze or the Uber app where it doesn’t jolt along and it gives you written directions of where you’re going it would be much better and more user friendly. Also my activity score has dropped a number times because when I have tried to accept a job the app has frozen and not accepted it, I get penalised for your bad app! You need to upgrade trip price in NigeriaBolt needs to change price for a trip because there won't be any profit left after buying fuel and paying bolt commission it's just like I been wasting my time since I sign up as bolt driver. There should be charges to drive to location before starting trip. I bought fuel of #2000 for the price of #530 per liter I drove to riders place which is about 13 mins away there's no commission on that I'll now start a new trip which can last for 20 mins again bolt brings price of #2300 for the whole trip and after getting payment from rider bolt remove about #500 as commission. Destination Change & Fare issuesI’ve been using Bolt for quite sometime now, at certain time an update was introduced which it has remove changing destination on driver app and after completing trip you cannot ask for fare review nor complaints about the fare. Also why is it if you want to change your mobile phone number you have to write email which is wasted of time and after writing email and be accepted to change a phone number you cannot go back to use you previously phone number I will recommend to return this futures with your next updates and make it easy to change phone number. 1. HorribleI think we have it too good with Uber. Taxify lacks many features we take for granted with the Uber driver app making it frustrating and dangerous to operate. * Can't use Taxify navigation. Map is rubbish. Cannot see directions, line is too small, roads are too big, nav doesn't re-route nor does it tell you about upcoming turns and deviations. * Can't go offline while on a trip. Becomes dangerous when needing to switch between apps to accept b2b rides. I once had 4 requests come through while driving in the city. I stopped accepting after the first two were cancelled by the rider because it was dangerous and my passengers didn't appreciated me constantly playing with my phone. Needles to say my acceptance rating got pummeled. * Too many taps. Why to I need to confirm my arrival before starting a trip? Why do I need to confirm the price? How should I know what it should be? * App is slow and unresponsive. I find I have to tap and swipe multiple times before the action works correctly. * No toll breakdown. There's no way for me to see the toll charges on my statements to match against my records. * "App payment, do not accept cash". Why is that even there if people don't have any other payment option? * Reflective Sticker... Ok so this has nothing to do with the app but represents everything that Taxify does wrong. I mean, the sticker goes on the outside of the car so you can't even use your rear wiper blades. All you had to do was print them backwards so we could stick them on the inside of the car. * Payments are shown inclusive of the Taxify commission and takes a while to calculate fees and bonuses so I'm never quite sure how much money I've actually earned untill the following day. * Can't edit much in the driver portal. I would like to upload a better profile picture as the one I used to sign up with was cropped horribly by Taxify and makes me look like a balloon headed weirdo. Changing bank details couldn't be done either. Had to contact support. * Reimbursements are poor. Uber pay us a lump some for sending in a photo of a riders mess. Taxify make you send in a receipt so there's actually no compensation for time off the road and loss of potential income. You cannot clean up the mess yourself even if you own the proper equipment because you need an actual receipt. If your seats are wet cleaning until the next day, too bad. There are some good things about Taxify though. * 15% commission means drivers earn more money, yay! * Driver incentives are great... in theory. Bonuses are good but I never get more than one trip a day so I never get them. * You can see other Taxify drivers on your home screen which lets you know if you're in a saturated area or not. * Support is easy. You can just message someone through the app and they usually reply promptly. There's no run around trying to avoid support requests like Uber does successfully. * I enjoy the weekly in-app newsletter keeping drivers up to date with the latest info. All that being said, I can't imagine people will still be using the app once the promo is finished anyway. There's always 10 times more Ubers around than Taxify so I'm sure riders will be switching back, especially since the price is the exact same as Uber.
