✓ What a wasteI purchased my Omni 10s and 20 in the UK. The app worked, but it did drop. Came back the US and all I can use for my tunes is Bluetooth. If I could return the speakers I would. For HK to promote this app for their speakers is sorry and a waste for their customers. HK needs to fix this, I have told family a friends about the poor to unusable HK app and referred them to sonos. HK LIVE UP TO YOUR REPUTATION AND FIX THE APP ISSUE.Version: 4.3.0

✓ Still needs work, please add or fix the followingThis app has improved but it still needs a lot of work. First, Deezer streaming service crashes regularly. I don't have this problem with Tidal so not sure what the problem is with Deezer? Also, Tidal HiFi is not supported- even if you are a hi-fi subscriber the quality level is downgraded to 320kbps MP3. So much for taking advantage of the hardwares' ability to play CD-quality or higher. Also, not all volume controls on an iPad work (e.g. iPad hardware side and lock screen volume buttons). Other requests: display streaming bitrate/frequency info (or at least some indication when HD streaming is occurring), add gapless playback, add custom settings (ie buffer size, EQ), keep current playlist even when wifi disconnects Very excited that support for Google cast is coming, hopefully that will be rolled out soon? Also, I assume this means we will be able to use these speakers with an app like Plex that supports Google cast and that the original Omni speakers will get this feature?.Version: 3.0

✓ Great Speakers Very Poor App!After lots of research I decided to change the hifi system throughout the house to make use of modern technology. I purchased Harman Kardon wireless speakers downloaded the app & looked forward to technology at its best......but no, that would be too easy wouldn't it! The speaker is brilliant but the app won't play all of the songs in iTunes,saying unavailable. It's impossible to play an album or playlist once, it has to be a continuous loop until you switch it off,not good if you wish to go to sleep with music on. It over rides the clock countdown timer so you can't set it to switch off. So Harman Kardon, an option to play once, a timer, progress bar for the song playing and proper integration with iTunes would be wonderful..Version: 2.1

✓ 1 Star is too generousThis app is terrible. You can only stream audio that is loaded into the app (which are songs downloaded to your device) so it's useless for Podcasts and Apple Music. That's actually not the worst part of this app and the Omni Speakers. If you have only one speaker you can use it with Bluetooth. However, for more than one speaker you have to first connect all the speakers to your wifi network and set them via this app. Unfortunately, the app can't successfully connect the speakers to most modern wifi networks. ✓ Too EarlyIt's been six months since I purchased the Omni system It is been a pain since the beginning but I assumed it was just a matter of time HK would notice and improve the software. The app still works poorly, the signal drops off all the time, and customer service is not the best. I have moved the componesnts several times, reconfigured the wifi set up, got a new router, and still it just does not work as advertised. I ended up buying HK Omni because I wanted an affordable alternative to SONOS, well HK Omni is not worth it , just pay a little more and go for a fully developed and tested product..Version: 2.0
✓ Just the ticketAfter using the omni system for about a year the interface was always the weakest area. This is a far nicer experience and you can now sort your playlist!.Version: 3.0
✓ Good basic streamerI have all the HK omni products, provided your router doesn't cause problems, the speakers and adapt themselves do no cause problems with connection. The WPS connection is a no go- keeps cutting out- so did connect manually with my router password ( Virgin media fibre optic router) to all speakers and adapt- and the cutting out issue is completely resolved. So those that have cut out issues its your router issue rather than the speaker issue. Also for manual connection CANT USE 5G on wifi connection must use 2G connection- took a an hour to figure that out on my own! This seems to be more stable connection. The quality is excellent- both sound and build and looks/finish. My ones are white version. Few improvement must be considered: 1) should be able to have party mode of all speakers via bluetooth and wired connection without number of speaker limitation... Software update? 2) Lots of people have complained about app limitations- it's basic: needs to have the following- A) it's a high definition speaker assume it will play hi res sounds- needs to have its own file and format system and not rely on apples ipod library! Need to have its own library where it can play own format not restring to Apple's limited few formats. B) Needs to consider Flac, wav, atrac, AAC, DTS, Dolby etc streaming to speaker via phone/ tablet. The omni app it self should consider these formats and stream them Into lossless audio to speakers. C) The library of the app should allow you to add files directly into its own library and play multi format hi res audio streamed lossless- like VLC player format compatibility. 3) should support You tube in the app. Very vital! Omni 20 retails £250, Omni 10 £150 and adapt about £100- these products are not cheap, so for this range of products to be considered seriously and people to adopt them- consumers must have the versatility and usability with compatibility to utilise them well- not good having a nice looking show piece without getting much use from them. The app must be developed to stream multi audio formats from its own library and have popular services like you tube and Spotify to be use via the app. There are too many streaming speakers out there; omni must stand out- it's very simple to use and set up- but the form now must follow with its function for it to be a 5* product and popular at that too. I like the speakers but find only MP3 and apple files format too restricting. And not being able to test Flac and other formats. For an audiophile MP3 not satisfactory I m afraid! Look forward to have software update soon- for otherwise these are amazing speakers!.Version: 2.2

✓ Poor app solutionI have Omni 10 and Omni 20 and depended on this app to get them connected or volume controls. Used them for a while and then lost it, i.e. I count not find my speakers in the app anymore. Tried to reconnect them on this app again, reset, tried WPS and nothing works. ✓ Endless DisappointmentWhen it worked (a year ago) everything was in sync, it rarely dropped. Now I have to sync it by WPS ONLY or use ONE out of SIX speakers for Bluetooth, since it won’t connect to WiFi. It would be great if HK respected their buyers enough to AT LEAST update the app or provide any kind of use. I actually wrote this review a year ago and hadn’t submitted it. As of now I’ve updated my WiFi. I have excellent WiFi connection and the speakers have since connected more quickly than it ever had. Yet it still cannot find my speakers if my phone even blinks. ✓ Sounds great, when it worksI purchased two Omni 20s and they sound great, if and when they work. I want to love these speakers, but the app is a major hindrance. Most of the time it can't even complete an entire song before disconnecting or the app freezes. Forget about getting through a playlist! I don't think I've gotten through more than 1.5 songs before the app freezes/crashes. Truly awful. The app is equally poor on both my iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2. This product would be great if and when the app is improved. Please improve! I would also love to see a PC/Mac app so we can stream HD audio content over wifi from a computer..Version: 2.1

✓ Thousands of dollars thwarted by a 50cent appI bought speakers for the entire house; I have fiber optic cable and high-end wifi. ✓ Needs so much work!Considering the cost of the speakers, and the fact they are amazing compared to other wifi speakers, the app is a massive let down , very slow, limited and not user friendy at all. ✓ Garbage app great speaker wasted functionalityI recently bought 2 of the OMNI 10s, Brilliant idea to have 2 identical Bluetooth speakers able to pair for a true stereo sound. Except they can’t pair by Bluetooth and unless you connect with wps on your router it’s impossible to connect 1 let alone both. And if you do manage to get both one ends up disconnecting as you’re trying to enter the stupid password to the new streaming service you’re forced to choose from because they offer not one to pick from that anyone has ever heard of but it keeps telling me failed to authorize credentials and reset the password 3 times already and I’ve still yet to get both to pair successfully to this horrible app. As much as i like the speaker and the sound quality in itself as a stand alone speaker that’s not why i bought the pair. I wanted a nice HD audio system to pair into the auxiliary input for the projector i have that has built in 3D audio support and has a decent enough speaker but I’m watching on 150” projection screen i wanted something a little more bang for the buck but it’s starting to become more difficult than what it’s worth because it seems the only options are hoping that the app will magically stay linked with speakers long enough to try anything else or i have to spend more money to get a switch component and at that point i may as well return these and guy a system that works out the box instead of making claims that are plain inaccurate..Version: 4.3.0

✓ Fantasic speaker product ruined by a bad app please update the appWe have 2 x Omni 10s, 1 x Omni 20 & an Adapt which we love and worked perfectly until we moved house. We have installed a very good home network system but are now unable to connect our speakers to the 2.4ghz network using the app it will not find any network. All other devices can find and connect no problem except these speakers it was an issue we previously got around using WPS on the router but that will not even work. Looking here seems to be others with same issue, our expensive speakers are now reduced to individual Bluetooth speakers unable to be interconnected in party mode. Come on Harmon Kardon do better at least update your app, we have paid a lot of money for these speakers. We will not ever buy another HK product if this is how customers are unsupported. ✓ Terrible experience with both the speakers and this appI don’t write reviews but feel compelled to on this product. The speakers will lock up after maybe 30 second of being connected to my WiFi. Only way to fix it is to unplug it and only use Bluetooth. Bluetooth seems to work ok but if you have any intention of using these on your network forget it it’s not going to happen. The app is just as terrible with a persistent volume that pops up no matter what your trying to do. For now they are Bluetooth only I guess. They really deserve zero stars for this product but one is as low as I can give. If you do get them to connect for any length of time at all it still won’t play any music from iTunes due to some copyright. Terrible product and terrible app experience.Version: 4.3.0

You have beautifully designed speakers with great sound which are getting hurt by a non functioning app. One of the selling points that most attracted me to this product was being able to control the speakers by using your phone as a remote. That selling point is made invalid by a bad app. The app works for a few minutes before it just simply stops playing the music, be it from the music library in your phone, or one of the "stations" in the app. Please fix this!.Version: 2.1

✓ Truly a disappointment...My entire experience with both the Omni speaker products and the app has been both unfortunate and disappointing from the very start. Like many others in the fdbck section, I selected the Omni speakers and invested (around 1k) after positive reviews on sound quality and performance. However from the initial plug in, the speakers do not, will not (and my guess due to software) cannot properly or permanently connect to my network. I (again as others) hoped the increasing number of poor reviews would encourage the H/K team to develop an update to support, but this has not happened. Instead the devices continue to collect dust. It’s to the point I am contemplating a lawsuit... don’t waste your money, I would sell them but I’d feel bad karma about passing my trouble and pain to some unwitting individual....Version: 4.2.0

If I'm using any device at home - it's connected to my home Wifi network. Why would I want to drop that connection just to connect my device to an HK speaker or set of speakers? ✓ Great Products Poor AppI have been struggling for a long time to find a product that will allow me to wirelessly connect my high end Bang and Oflusen turntable to my high end Yamaha and Whafdale set up. Knowing how good HK are and the fact that the Adapts can stream at 96k 24bit I took the £200 plunge and I have been rewarded with great quality in terms of audio transmission. That said the app lacks functionality and is a little clunky in places. Spotify and advanced features are what is needed most of all! Let's start with the advanced features, permanent pairing like party mode for the Adapts and I suppose the omni speakers would not go a miss. Better yet, the ability for the Adapt to identify an AUX input becoming 'live' and start steaming to a paired device would solve all my issues, why not add it as an advanced option HK? There are plenty of audiophiles out there wanting a product like this for applications like mine, your missing a market that a simple fix you'll bring, LP sales are on the up and locating a turntable next to the amp can be a pain. Finally there is Spotify support, really, via Bluetooth was that the best you could manage! As an award winning designer myself I know Sonos are your rival in this field and at the moment they are pulling in to the lead from where I stand, you make better equipment though and should frankly be wiping the floor with the competition, time to fix up HK, function over form eventually wins for products like these, you know that! ✓ Very disappointed but nobody care on H/KIt is not possible. Too many problems with my Omni 10+. H/K support is zero, nobody hear our opinion. My very big problem is the delay, even if I use 3,5 mmm jack. Delay everywhere... when listening music or video. If nothing happens quickly, I never use H/K speakers. ✓ Complete GarbageYou never know when it’s going to work. You don’t know why it’s working or why it’s failing. It could be working perfectly you stop it and then go to start it again and will not work. Complete garbage!!!! Spend your money elsewhere. Amazing that a company like this will allow you to waste your hard earned money by not having a functional app!!! Update: can’t even get it to work over WiFi now at all.
