✓ Simply doesn’t workJust purchased the iTrack Pocket, only to find out that the app associated with it simply doesn’t work. It’s just a mirror - there’s no record button or anything at all of that nature. Reading previous reviews, it is clear there have been issues for a while now, and you should probably just admit you can’t be bothered as opposed to continuously telling customers you’re ‘working on it’ when you obviously aren’t..Version: 1.2
✓ Disappointed with FocusriteFirst of all, I love Focusrite's equipment for audio recording on non-mobile devices. Their interfaces and preamps for DAW's are available for every budget, they are reliable, and at times, they are the best in their class. I own two audio interfaces by Focusrite at the moment. One is my go-to except I just purchased the Apollo Duo so that may change, but only if Apollo lives up to my expectations that have been determined are from utilizing Focusrite gear. Now with that said, this app is a disappointment. I left a not so great review on another outlet online, which I did change after getting it to work properly, but someone for the company contacted me with a bunch of different suggestions on what I'm doing wrong, but my suggestion to you, Focusrite, the bottom line is its been over 2 years since you've updated this app. I feel like I'm doing too much work just to use the app. I was using iOS 8.3 when suddenly the amp simulators disappeared. I have plenty of storage available, and I'm sure it's something that MUST be my fault, so I upgraded the iOS, I uninstalled the app, I reinstalled the app, I made sure the itrack pocket was plugged in, after all that, not only are the amp simulators are gone, but now the ground noise is God awfully loud. I have zero fans or any noisemakers running in my room I record in. This isn't ok. One of the reasons I really liked this device, was for the amp simulators. If you guys actually updated this app, I would've bought the version for iPad. I've almost purchased it a few times, but because the app has been neglected and it's been troublesome, I think I'll stick to Shure for mobile devices, and Focusrite I will continue to use in the Mac book. If the simulators worked and the floor noise lessened, this would've been the perfect plug n play for us musicians getting our videos out there. Thank god for the Shure Motive88. Just in case ppl are wondering, yes you can do video with it. The Shure app saves your microphone settings to use in all other video applications. It also has phantom power. If you guys do ever update the app, I'll eagerly check it out since hoping it'll one day be usable again..Version: 1.1

✓ Issue when exporting the file.I dont understand why it is so hard to export a file after recording it, at first I thought maybe the size of every files I tried to export were too big so I modified my camera settings to save space, also thinking that maybe more than 200mb is way too big to export so I trimmed my videos, still wouldnt work, it would start rendering then would froze halfway then the app would shut down. Maybe someone can enlighten me here... I would appreciate some advice. Thank you in advance..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Has potential but disappointing!!As a home musician I have become interested in focusrites interfaces for recording instruments and vocals! Their hardware has had good reviews but their software is lacking somewhat! The ideas are good but the execution is bad! This software could have been so much better! I hope the company reads this and takes this onboard. In today's world good software is essential to compliment a good piece of hardware! 2/10 for effort!.Version: 1.1

✓ App needs updatingI have just purchased the Focusrite iTrack Pocket and have found out that it is useless as the app doesn’t work properly. As well as the rotation issues experienced by others, I have recorded videos, which I can play in the app but I cannot save them anywhere, as soon as I try to upload them the app just crashes. So great, I have wasted money on something that only works with one app and because the app has not been updated for 3 years, it no longer works with the latest version of iOS. Edit after developer response: Too late, iTrack Pocket has been returned to the supplier under the UK sale of goods act which states that if something doesn’t work as it should you are entitled to return and get a full refund. To be honest, your response is not acceptable, you have been aware of the issues for long enough and should have rectified them by now, however looking at your various responses to other reviews which recommend using a different app, I’m assuming that you are not going to update the app and your impending announcement will be something to that effect. Edit after second developer response: well done but too late, in the face of the app not having been updated for so long meaning I was not confident it ever would be, I have already returned the iTrack Pocket to the supplier for a refund..Version: 1.2

✓ Don’t waste your timeThe idea of the app is great but it is greatly outdated and doesn’t work with the current iOS. At least I can’t get it to work. Turning it sideways in landscape mode doesn’t work properly and you can’t save the video. Crashes as soon as you go to export it. It records a video fine, but when I try to save it freezes halfway through rendering and then crashes. ✓ Disappointing no update since Oct 2014The iTrack pocket is a great little recording device with Impact for recording songs with guitar and vocals. But, what lets it down big time is the fact that there has been no updates for the Impact App since Oct 2014 and there is no support for Bluetooth headphones. Not sure if I should trust this App will work correctly being so out of date. The recording device still sells and gets good reviews, not sure why the Impact App has not been updated for so long..Version: 1.1

✓ Hardware Great, Software not so much!I was excited to try this today. Now I am just left frustrated. I have never been able to get the Impact app to show me the “audio input” icon. So, without being able to see that, I can not tell the app to look for input from the ¼” jack. The jack is useless. I have deleted the app and re-installed it. No luck. I have tried it on 3 generations of iPhones, no luck. Tried on my iPad Air, no luck. I wonder if anyone at Focusrite is listening. I see nothing on their support forums about this. Only here. ✓ Won’t workIt’s great when it works, BUT, I’ve not been able to get the app to work since the new iOS update, which is really annoying as I’ve only had the recorder less than a month, I always saw Focusrite as being one of the leaders in the market with this sort of thing, as we can now see, there’s not been an update for a few years now, I have now lost faith in there products... if they bothered to read their reviews they’d see it was necessary to keep up, “SORT IT OUT GUYS!”... Update: after receiving g a response after my first review telling me that focusrite are sorting this issue it still doesn’t work, before I purchased this product I’d been researching the focusrite range of interfaces, I almost purchased a 6i6, anyway due to the reliability of these updates it led me to wonder what other updates amongst their range could be lacking, so I purchased a ROLAND RUBIX 44 instead, marvellous product and Roland are on the ball when it comes to customer service, I’ve dealt with them for a few years now, I wonder how many more customers they’re loosing due to this?!... This would probably bring the review instantly to 4 stars, as the functionality this app offers would be highly useful to me as a simple way to shape the audio for a video I've already recorded. 2)Totally not optimized for iPhone 7+ (or 6+, or 6S+). This would bring me up to a fifth star in a heartbeat. ✓ Very disappointedThis WAS a great app/ device until recently. I upgraded my iPhone to 9.3.1 and now the impact screen comes up and immediately goes away. Focus rites response is that this not a known issue and that I could try resetting my iPhone to the previous update. I was able to use it on my iPad, which I had not yet updated. Well, a few days later, I go to use it with the iPad again and it won't record. If the left side icons for recording mode are on the screen, there is no record button . If the record icon is on the screen, they go away. It appears to be recording--video does record, but no sound. This is the case for both the microphones and the guitar jack. This app is in bad need of an update, and the focusritefolksdont seem to care..Version: 1.1
