✓ WORST COPY CAT EVERThis game is the worst rip off ever. It clearly steals Monument Valley’s aesthetics and concept, but changes it in dramatically annoying ways that make game play virtually impossible. The need to constantly click on the next path you want to take so that you do not die, distracts the player from enjoying any part of this game. You have milliseconds to click. If you miss even just a smidge, dead. Don’t even get me started on the adds. Let me explain. You managed to somehow defy the odds and get a rhythm going but WHAMO!! an add pops up. Not 5 seconds. Not 10 seconds. A 30 second add. Now try going back to game play and make the millisecond move after that. You can pay $1.39 like I did to remove the adds, but I’m sorry to say, it was a massive waste of money. Even without the adds, the game moves annoyingly too fast and as a result, you die far too often. There is no ability to be able to enjoy this game. I feel angry and annoyed. Pay the money for Monument Valley. It’s well worth it and my god I feel relaxed and challenged when I play it. You can actually take time to strategize your next move and use your brain to over come complex geometric designs. Skyward you are the worst kind of terrible and I’m breaking up with you. ✓ Would gladly pay for this...Sure its a rip-off of the Monument Valley style, but the gameplay is unique and fun. What isn’t fun s the freemium garbage surrounding it. Because its a gam where you die quickly the pop up ads and other nonsense mean you have to wait between turns which makes it annoying. I’ve also messed up quite a few times by accidentally pressing the banner ad down the bottom. Guys - I would have gladly given you $1.29 for this. ✓ Ads cause glitchesAlthough this game is conceptually great, the ads at the bottom cause glitches (skipping/freezing) when they change, which can cause you to lose a round. This corners you into buying the ad-free version if you don't want glitches, but no price for this is given, so you don't know what your iTunes account is being charged. ✓ Zero Stars - Absolute RubbishAfter ripping off the Monument Valley aesthetic and colour pallet this shockingly bad game tricked the Apple store (likely via bags of cash) to recommend it beside the IOS masterpiece. ✓ Bye, Felecia...This was kind of entertaining for awhile, but then they started getting WAAAY more aggressive with the "Wouldn't you like to pay .99 to get rid of the ads?" to try to get you to pay for the game. I'm fine with that up to a point. But when instead of asking, it results in Apple's Touch ID screen suddenly popping up on its own to authorize payment, without any request on my part to do so, mmm...NO! If you like trying to find the hidden x to close ads with some annoying game that pops up every so often where you have to fail, look at it for a couple of seconds or make a single step with the dots then this is for you! Also if you are having a hard time finding out what the name of that one app is who's cover photo is the spitting image of The Governator, look no further! ✓ Awesome game:too many adsThe game is incredibly addicting and fun, but it bothers me when an ad pops up in the middle of the game. Accidentally clicking on them is fairly easy, even during the game, thus interrupting needed focus. Although it gives an option to remove ads, it never states the price, so im a bit iffy on wether or not to remove them. Lots of games have ads, but they go a little over the top when they sneak them between every play (It can get incredibly annoying). All other ketchapp games have this downer as well, which is a shame considering their games are very well made. ✓ Zero room for error and not for leftiesSuccess of the game depends on when and where you tap, and for left-handed people this can be extremely frustrating, as the levels often go left to right (you'll understand if you're a leftie) and you can't always see where you're tapping. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if the game weren't against the clock: playing an action at the wrong moment gets you killed. Easily. There is a game by a small indie dev I very much respect called "A Dance of Fire and Ice". In that game, two planets orbit each other. You must press the key at the right time to continue. There is a specific rhythm to it. Sound familiar? You are shameless plagiarists, preying on the vulnerable. A one reading this, fire up your PC/Mac/Linux and play A Dance of Fire and Ice. ✓ Horribly invasive adsI would have given the game 4 or 5 stars if it wasn't for the horrendously invasive ads that totally ruin the experience. Way too many pop-up ads, which fill the screen and thus totally interrupt play - I'm okay with these occasionally but they pop up way too often. Also banner ad on the bottom of the screen is a very poor placement choice; it gets in the way of the ideal place to tap the screen whilst playing the game, meaning that I'm constantly having to tap over things and can't see what I'm doing properly, and of course occasionally I accidentally tap the banner which messes up play through completely. Plus every time the banner changes the game lags, which once again causes you to mess up! All this invasive advertising makes me resent both the game and the advertisers. The looks like it tried to shove as many ads as it could all over the place. During the game, after several level plays, on the menu, there probably more places I didn't list....but they are everywhere. To be fair, for 99 cents you can remove the ads. I assume all of them... But it's hard to believe they could find all of them to remove and I'm sure the one on them menu would still be there. It's a button that you have no idea what it is until after you push it. Ok, what about game. You are two circles, one is stationary while the other loops you twice, the second time it will start to diminish, so you have to place it on a floor or wall before it goes away. The seemingly random generated building floats in open air, and gives you one or twice paths to select but if you miss the path the game ends and gives you a count of how many steps you made. ✓ Great game spoiled by adsI'll admit that this game had me interested since I first saw it reviewed and branded a rip-off of Monument Valley by a poor excuse of a journalist. I immediately had to download it and try it out. This game is great and while not hugely innovative, it seems to stand on its own merits fairly well. While the design is vaguely reminiscent of Monument Valley, it's by no means a rip-off or clone. The gameplay itself is deceptively simple and fun, yet still challenging enough to keep you on your toes and trying again and again. Unfortunately, the developers somehow decided that firing off a barrage of ads was the best way to profit from this great game, shoving them in your face at almost every other turn, and often midsession with bottom banner ads. They ignore the fact that most people would happily pay a small premium to remove the annoyance of constant interruptions. Apart from the ads, the only other annoyance is the size & placement of the social sharing buttons which seem to almost always get in the way and fire off their respective pop-up dialogs when beginning a new round. Sadly, the incessant ads have soured the whole experience for me and as a result I feel it no longer deserves my time or a place in my device.
