✓ FrustratingThis game is so much fun. I absolutely love it and have played it a long time. But be aware it is not a game of chance. It is definitely geared to in app purchases. The “Vegas Cards” game is a croc. I have never gotten the card needed to complete a set. When playing words..if you need a certain letter, even a common one, good luck getting it. I’ve had over 100 letters but can’t get a couple of “L’s to complete a board challenge. The game could be one of the best but it’s all about the in app purchases and even that won’t get you what you need to win a big pot. Kills the joy of playing. I have to drop letters to get the extra letters, I should be able to swap letters, after all I paid for them one way or another. ✓ Greedy app developersI must say that I was kind of enjoying the challenge of the game even though the slots were pretty tight and didn't seem to payout very often but since thanksgiving the slots have become tighter than Scrooge's wallet. The tighter slots just so happen to coincide with a big push on selling coin packages. I lost over 200 million coins in just 3 days and I don't bet very much each time. I do spin a lot so I can get the letter packs for the words game but even those have become a massive joke. For example I won an 'epic' letter pack through the competition they were running and I got 1 letter. Just 1 letter? Yeah that's an epic let down. Other issues with letters are that when you have to spell a specific word to complete the board there will be 1 letter that you won't get no matter how many letter packs you open meaning you can't complete the board and can't collect the coins. I spent 1 week trying to get an F to complete a board and dumped over 250 letters so I could possibly get the one I wanted but no joy. When they made the change to Vegas Words, you had the option to either continue “as is” or play the Scrabble-like game they offered. Then they changed that to having to mandatorily play the Scrabble-like game, with no way to option-out. When playing the word game, you never got the letters you needed to win unless you bought letters. That took all the fun out of it, in addition to having a dictionary that did not recognize everyday, ordinary words. It got to be a chore to play and, after having it on my iPad for years, I just now deleted the game. I will not return to it unless given the option to not have to play the word game.
