However it will be much better and enjoyable if you can have the option to control ground troops like the raid map could be bigger and zombie spawn more intense. ✓ Cant progress in the campaign and it’s beyond frustratingAs far as the gameplay and everything goes, i give it a 10/10 all day, every day. But… im literally stuck. Im at level 18, my base is currently maxed out and even though i have enough resources to level up my HQ, it wont let me until i reach level 20. Now normally that wouldn't be an issue but unfortunately leveling up in this game takes wayyy to long. Its ridiculous, its to the point where I'm sure even the most dedicated gamer would call it quits. So to the developers; can you please please please fix this? Either make it easier to level up by increasing mission rewards or lower the amount of XP needed to level up becauseI’m losing interest fast. 90% of enjoyment i get from this game is unlocking new weapons and being able to upgrade my base. What happens when it reconnects is that the reward is counted as completed, but without giving it to you. If it was 50/50 on win/loss I could deal with that. I rediscovered it, however I’ve noticed a few things that would improve the experience: * When viewing adverts for creates, they either crash, take too long, doesn’t allow you the option to redeem. Especially for Royal Match ads, includes all of the previous. This is incredibly annoying/frustrating. * Sensor upgrades - on top of weapons, and base upgrades. How about introducing Gunship sensors options and updates e.g IR/TV, movement, auto tracking or alert areas? * Allow you to configure or move the game control buttons, especially the team hold that keeps inadvertently getting selected. * In app suggestions/feedback * Regular updated/patches. ✓ Progression poorly designedFundamentally a solid, fun game. Gameplay is quite addictive, taking out zombies from the air. You protect a team of troops on the ground, deciding their entry point for best effect. Sadly the game follows many others of its ilk, being free, with excruciating progression (unless you pay for boosts) and timed unlocks which require you to be constantly online in order to play it. Fair enough, I’ll happily buy one or two things if I play the game a lot, but even if money was no object the progression is simply too slow. You have to constantly replay levels to get anywhere close to making your weapons powerful enough, and it’s easy to waste resources on weapons that aren’t as useful as others. There’s actually one resource that even if you wanted to buy it, you can only do so indirectly. ✓ Too hardThe first couple of chapters were pretty fun and playable, but once Heavy Titans are introduced, the game is unplayable. You can’t even get through EASY levels. For one, the Heavy Titans are waaaay overpowering and take more ammo than you could ever carry. And thats just 1 Titan. Most stages have a couple of them. 2nd, All weapons aside from auto cannons don’t carry enough ammo. And lastly, ground troops move too slow. Making it impossible to clear later stages. Two weeks ago, I opened the app and I noticed that my account had suddenly disappeared. I was back to the tutorial. I contacted the technical support and after providing them with some information about my account, they told me that my account was restored and I just had to open the app and walk through the tutorial. That’s what I did, but at the end nothing! I was back to level 1 with a new account. I had multiple email exchanges with them and each time they would tell me that my account was restored. Every time, I would open the app, go through the tutorial and always end up with a new account. Eventually, they stopped responding to my requests. That’s a very disappointing experience. ✓ Fun but issuesThis game is good pick up and play fun but the time between new weapon level ups is stupid. I've completed 4 sectors and I'm only up to level 4, one needs to get to level 12 for the next one. That will take weeks or months of normal game play. And I'm pretty much stuck as there are now huge zombie monsters that take ages to kill and there's 4 of them :/ plus loads of zombies. Basically next to impossible with the standard weapons. So I'm reduced to just replaying the missions I've already done just with slightly levelled up basic weapons. Your real money goes no where in this game and all the in game purchases are severely overvalued. I’ve reached a point where the only way forward is to pay more money which I won’t do anymore. I don’t like this at all because I like progression and at a certain point—around lvl 20– I can’t pass any levels that I haven’t previously passed already and I cannot earn any resources to upgrade and fuse my weapons to do more damage so it’s not fun anymore. Probably the most annoying thing about this game is your troops: they’re slow, they’re dumb, they complain the whole time and they’re completely worthless to upgrade because they don’t do damage. ✓ Could do better.I love this game the graphics are better than some games. The stumbling blocks are the lack of any way to to increase the number of screws/bolts other than scrapping the weapons from the armoury and the small amount you get from each mission. There should be some sort of trade shop so you could swap other resources for them. The number of crates you can have should be increased or the different types should have there own sections. And the split between rank levels it to great you end up having to keep running previous missions to build up resources and the storage space runs out until you level up several levels. However, my major problem with this game is that to be able to advance through the game, build up your defenses, get better weapons, and equip more weapons, you must increase your "player rank." This mechanic seems to me to be extremely unbalanced in this game, and becomes extremely frustrating and annoying. There also seems to be no way to buy XP to advance, and gaining XP seems so terribly slow. This has been a major put-off for this game for me. As I have progressed I have reached a point where the weapons I have won’t kill what I have left to progress. It said this would contain 4 legendary or better weapons. I had hoped that out of the 4 I would get something that would work to progress. What I got was only one legendary weapon and the rest were less including one that wasn’t a gunship weapon but a troop weapon. That was a big ripoff. I am disappointed with the developers on that one. Would have given it more stars if not for that. ✓ Ok, but spend nothing on this!The grind in this game literally lasts years. Obviously it has kept my attention and the actual game mechanics are good, but at this point I have opened hundreds if not thousands of crates as I keep them queued up all day and all night long for over a year, and I have only found three legendary weapons which oddly enough I found all of them fairly early on and then never again. The in app purchases baffle me, they charge 20 bucks to gamble on a blue weapon, which will either be garbage or worse garbage. 20 bucks! I really have no idea who spends money on this game. I have spent nothing on it, but I would have spent money if they offered even remotely reasonable deals in the store or if they sold specific weapons. Who spends 20 dollars on a gamble for a mid range weapon that you don’t even get to chose and it could be a ground troop weapon or an air ship weapon. I think they would have generated far more sales if they had more sane pricing. Really who buys the 20 dollar packs, and did you even get anything good from it, blue is not good. The only time they offered anything remotely reasonable was a blue 90 mil howitzer for 8 bucks during Christmas but that weapon is a noob weapon with only 4 rounds and it destroys your defenses if you use it anywhere near your base. On first load it’ll shift the icons but eventually it will move UI elements behind the Dynamic Island. The fact they are seemingly oblivious to this highlights that they are bad developers, I noticed it day 1, no testing was apparently done with this app. Which brings me to the second issue. This is not a pay to win game which I could respect. This is an ad to win game. They want you to watch so many ads. Which is probably why they ignore users of higher end iPhones (with Dynamic Island) who may have money to spend in lieu of those that want to watch ads. Also the ads are terrible. It’s the same sprinter shooter game over and over and I have no interest in playing them. Mainly because the ads don’t even show them being winnable. I do appreciate you can play them as mini games but again you can’t win so why would you want to play it. Who even makes an ad that makes you not want to play a game? Overall the gameplay is obviously a rip off of an unnamed AAA games kill streak perk. There’s not much to it. Your upgrades don’t really go anywhere with each weapon, nor does cool down or reload time improve on anything... Another big gripe is during missions, your squad on the ground moves so damn slowly. ✓ Plagued with poor updatesWhen the game actually works properly it’s fun. They constantly release glitchy updates with no desire to speedily fix them. An update causes the game to crash if you play for an undetermined amount of time. Your doing amazing in a battle you’ve had a hard time beating then the game crashes. Two updates ago and still no fix. The latest update, by the way is my favourite, rewards seem now to come at random times and won’t load certain ones you have to watch to get the rewards. You click on the reward and it just spins and spins as if loading, so you have to leave the game shut it down restart the game and click on the reward to watch it spin again. Repeat this 5-10 times before the rewards will actually load. It’s probably why the rewards come at random times because you’re unable to collect them. It’s a fun game but the developers I think don’t care about it anymore and don’t bother to fix all the problems they cause by updating it. Which is sad no matter how much you like a game with the constant glitches you get tired of them and the game no longer becomes fun and people stop playing and ultimately stop paying the real money they’re trying to get. As an example of how they don’t care to fix the glitches they cause with their updates. There is an objective of building your hanger to level 3 and you get a reward. Well my hanger is maxed at level 6 and I’ve never nor can I get the reward for building it to level 3. As a suggestion maybe you should look into terminating your developers. ✓ My honest opinionI've never written a review but I actually enjoy this game so please be open minded to my criticism. The gameplay is spectacular, no problems there from my experience. But the Crates and rewards system is flawed.1 and a half hours to open a crate that has so little pay off it's disgusting. You can only hold four at a time which makes no sense giving the fact that a single mission will "reward" you with two. So you do two missions, now your crate space is full and you have to wait 1 & 1/2 hours OR pay 15 gold in which you will always lose profit gold wise. It's almost like the game is punishing you for just having crates. I feel a lot more people would like a system where: 1.there is not crate limit 2.Shorten the timer 3.Increase the drops to make it worth while. I'm not saying all three should be implemented, but one should at least be taken in to consideration. Problem is - You would need to spend $50 in order to acquire weapons required to complete a game that is not worth more than $10. Lots of recycled assets, weak sound effects, inconsistent damage models (like they are using global sliders rather than nuance or specialized rules). Instant grind wall once you run out of currency. Weapons are uninspired. This is the same game as before but with way higher grind margin. In my estimate $10 = 27 grind hours including compulsory advertisements. Thus, it would take 135 hours to beat the games repetitive levels. ✓ Cash WantedI’ve been playing this game a lot, and I can tell you right now, this game is money hungry. If you want to play a game for 15 minutes a day, then you’ll like this. The daily rewards last you about that long. That said, I’ve found maybe 3 Purple class weapons. You get white and green all the time, and blue drops every now and then, but the gold class must be a pure purchase, and it’s basically a loot box based system, so you never know what you’ll get. If your build is specific, it will do you no good to get some weapons. Having buildings locked to your profile level is also dumb. Everything about this game screams “BUY LOOT BOXS!!!” Well, I’m not buying them. The game has basically come to a screeching halt because I won’t spend any money on it. The irony of games like this is, is I’d buy some permanent upgrades if they were offered, like the 2x experience token you can get with any purchase, the only problem is, is it only last 48 hours, which tells you what this game is all about.
