✓ Worst ads ever.Could you guys offer a subscription or something to get rid of these ads? If not could you at least vet them? These are some of the most sleazy and dishonest ads I’ve ever seen and you should be ashamed for allowing them. Games alright otherwise aside from the forced deal clicking. ✓ Gods HONEST reviewBefore I talk about my issues, I’ll say that this is a very good game in my opinion, coming from watching all of the content that Trailer Park Boys put out that is. I like that they try to keep the game “canon” in a way which is pretty sweet. My personal issues I have with this game mostly lie in the very very poor optimization for newer iPhones. My first issue I have is that they have put no effort into actually taking advantage of the 120hz screens apple has been making for a few years now so the game appears VERY choppy. My second issue is that the game isn’t cropped properly to the iPhones that don’t utilize home buttons. My third issue is the connection issues I’ve dealt with every day since game release. I have played this game since release and am currently on season 192. The events are fun and all, but the creators wire the events in a way that you pretty much HAVE to spend money in order to actually unlock all prizes and make it on their leaderboards they have. Ad supported games are a great way to make the game “free” but still have updates but having to make people pay for currency just to unlock the top prices is a very cheap shot way at making revenue off of the game. Get better, this game deserves a three star AT BEST..Version: 1.32.0
✓ Veteran PlayerI’ve been playing this game consistently for over 7 years. It was always one of my favorites but over the years, the changes have made the game not so enjoyable. There was a point where you could watch a quick 15-30 second ad to boost your income or get bonuses and that would be it. You will be sitting though 1+ minute ads these days, some of which you can’t even get out of unless you completely exit the game. I appreciate the opportunity to watch an ad for a bonus, but there needs to be regulation and more review of the ads allowed because some of them are incredibly glitchy and semi scammy. This game isn’t exactly pay to play, but the amount of hash they give as prizes has substantially dissipated since the beginning. After finishing a season, you used to get about 25-40 hash on average. Now you’re lucky to get 5. They want you to buy that so save it up if you don’t wanna spend actual money. The concept of the game and overall functionality is still the same game I love. I like that they’ve added Conky as another way to get bonuses. My biggest complaint here is the fact we’re all adults and don’t have time to sit around and watch 15 minutes worth of ads when we’re taking the time to unwind and enjoy this game. I wish they’d go back to the shorter ones..Version: 1.33.0

✓ Somewhat DecentThe advertisements aren’t necessary to progress, but make significant differences to progression. The amount of advertisements are absolutely excessive, and the quality of them are always terrible. Aside from the advertisements it’s the usual pay-to-win style of mobile game that users should expect. I find the game part entertaining, especially since the TPB is such a great show, but it is very obvious that this app is mainly an advertisement simulator..Version: 1.26.8
✓ A Fool and His Money Are Soon Separated...daily on this game.Despite what Nikmo16 types...at length, this game is very oriented towards pay-to-play. I simply cannot fathom where he gets his ‘facts’. I genuinely feel this game holds back certain elements unless you pay. Example: I’ve been waiting over 24 hours for a character card. This card is required to raise the characters level while also awarding a trunk. It’s as if this characters cards are simply not available unless you pay for the greasy deal. I’ve won two events during this games entire duration, not 80% like Nikmo. Those two events I won, I paid. Correlation? I’m amazed at what others have accomplished in the game, suspecting they are the ‘payers’. Have you heard the old adage? A fool and his money are soon separated. It’s amazing how these ‘payers’ feel a sense of accomplishment and elevated self-esteem from winning a rigged children’s game. In summary, it’s RIGGED! Mike Smith’s greasiest accomplished scam yet. ✓ Finally went full blown p2wNow to update my last review. Last time I complained about my event experience I was replied with it was a new style event and may have been the reason for my bad experience. So yet again - the newest event about to conclude and I invested right at almost 200 hashcoins knowing the 4th from the last reward was 120 and for all together total of 160. Willing to lose 40 saved coins to advance and maybe collect the higher reward cards. So now, my current balance is 29 coins and I will not reach the 120 coin milestone reward, nor the other 3-4 still left to go, yet I am ranked 5th among 200 other people my same level the day in the global. Do I really need to explain the math for anyone to not see the p2w setup regardless of 2hr interval investment logins? Side note - even lacking whatever currency for the event, say you was 10 “chicken fingers” short - they want to charge you 40 hashcoins (not sure exact exchange rate) instead of you just purchasing a 350 currency chest for 35 coins. The math is outa wack and a clear attempt of taking advantage in my eyes. This 2nd time of event advancement has brought clarity - water under the fridge, time to move on..Version: 1.8.1
✓ It’s ups and downsIn the main area once you get past chapter 12, is this never ending cycle of not having high lvl characters to be able to automate your businesses, so it just takes an eternity and you end up not caring and playing only the events. Some of the events are really good and some of them are really bad. It’s the progression that’s hit or miss. No you don’t have to spend money but it’s constantly jamming “offers” down your throat. And my biggest issue is every once in a while there’s this bug where you have to download data every single time you try to get into the game. This is only supposed to happen when a new event comes out, but right now every time I try to just get into the game I have to download it. It doesn’t sound like much but it’s literally two minutes of waiting around every single time I just want to play. Very very annoying.Version: 1.29.0

✓ MediocreThe show is awesome. The characters brilliant. The app. Leaves a lot to be desired maybe my expectations are too high. Just seems like another generic pay to win or it becomes and endless grind to get anywhere. The ratio of dollar to hash coin (in game currency) is WAY out of balance I feel. That said, the concept and people that have created the show have my utmost respect. Every series was brilliant and I can't wait for season 12 to air. The game has made some interesting changes with all the new events with the hash coins (over priced and valued) are becoming less awarded through hard grinding leaving the only option to “pay to win”.... we understand we are all here to make money but this aspect kills it for me. I stick around this app because it’s a time killer but I promise I won’t pump another dollar (under 40$) ever into this game with its current arrangements. I do respect the creators of the show (not necessarily the game) and wish the highest success as I feel they are genuine in what they do. The dev’s for the game did a great job “quoting” the original show but that’s the only originality that’s offered in game. The concept and platform is unoriginal. Please take this as constructive and in no way is designed to be ugly or hurt anyone’s feelings on what may have been hard work creating. ✓ What a waste of time and moneyThis game was funny at first but after about season 8 it started to become a bit insulting and the humour started to slowly die. The fact that you can’t even complete the events without spending money shows that this company is both greedy and doesn’t have a clue what the gaming community is really like. There will always be the gamers that will pay to win but there a small % next those of us that will work hard to complete our favourite games. The fact that this company is to blind to see that shows they aren’t worth the time it takes to download the game let alone the time I’ve wasted playing the thing. ✓ Game just doesn’t loadThe game never just simply loads anymore. It’s constantly “checking for assets” no matter how many times it’s been updated. And it always takes 10+ minutes, often requiring me to refresh the app 5 or so times because it ends up getting stuck at 100% multiple times. ✓ Ads scamFirst let me start by saying the game is great. Sure there is a lot repetition but somehow it still draws you in. Lately however it seems that it’s becoming more money hungry. Whereas before the events were scarce, now as soon as one ends another one begins. With this (and in general) comes opportunity to earn extra in-game currency by watching ads, downloading apps, or making purchases. And this is where everything goes wrong. The whole system is broken. Often times watching ads crashes the game or just doesn’t register causing frustrations. There’s been times when I spent weeks completing an offer and no reward has been received. In last case I contacted the devs and all they could do was point the finger at their vendor (iron source). Contacting iron source is yet another wave of frustrations. It takes them weeks to respond (in my last case nearly 3 weeks) stating that they need info which was already submitted to them twice! And now by the looks of it they are taking their time again. So for those who do complete offers (or spend money to complete offers) be very careful as its a hit/miss situation at which point there’s nothing you can do. Other than that again, it’s a really fun game that will keep you coming back for more..Version: 1.5.1

Well probably because it was so exact to there wrongful ways of running a game, so looks as if they were so embarrassed and the fact I was sharing the truth to their scheme of ripping the Americans off as fast as possible. ✓ Good game but ads are buggedI enjoy playing this game but some of the special events are impossible unless you pay a good amount of real money for hashcoins to get more cards/liquor. Sometimes it’s senseless grinding when you know you’re not gonna get the prizes unless you pay or spend every second of your day playing. Also, when viewing ads, the clip finishes and then it goes to a solid black or white screen with no X mark to exit the ad and then the only way to get back to gameplay is to exit the app entirely and go through the whole process to get back in the game, and the ad won’t even register sometimes so you have to do it all over again. It’s just frustrating. I’ve been playing this game longer and more consistently than any mobile game I’ve had but it seems like it’s getting worse and I’m getting closer to deleting it. There are points where you have to wait forever to collect enough cash to move on, unless you just use real money. Who knows. Will the ad randomly pause during it occasionally? Sure does. ✓ This game is a scamI hate to leave this review because I did live this game, but no more. The devs will say it isn’t, but everyone who plays this knows that every week it gets harder and harder to pass anything without spending what? Hundreds of dollars every weekend just to finish a special event? I mean that is ridiculous beyond comprehension. You used to be able to finish these weekly events by just saving up hash coins and playing often, now it’s virtually impossible. For instance, the current even going on now, it used to get harder as you got further into the game, but now the only way to advance is to spend a lot of money. There are 6 buildings to unlock, and like clockwork, the character you need to unlock it NEVER come up on the 3 card rotation that changes every 2 hours, it used to, not anymore. So here I am, on building 4, no way to unlock it even after spending 2 days trying, waiting for the character to pop up so I can buy cards for him, but he never does. The only option is to buy hash coins and buy the character outright, but who in their right mind would spend that sort of money on a phone game that requires this weekly? People could buy a new PlayStation and a bunch of games for what they are spending on this scam. It makes me wonder why Apple allows devs to rip people off like this? Why have any games in the AppStore at all if the only people who can afford to play them have 7 figure bank accounts?.Version: 1.25.1

✓ FIX THE ADSIt’s bad enough you need to watch so many ads in this game, like countless other free games, but somewhat recently the ads have completely broken. I’ve now gotten the “No Ads Available” pop-up more times in the last few weeks than I have the multiple months I’ve been playing the game. Once you can actually get the “Watch Ad” screen to pop up, whether it be for the free 15 liquor (which is a pathetically low amount) or the Double Money one, you’re taken to a still screen of the ad with a little Play button in the middle, implying you click to start the ad, but you can’t click it. The ad sits there, not playing. You can’t exit out, and it won’t play regardless of how long you wait, so you’re left with no choice but to restart the app. You don’t get the ad bonus, and the cycle starts anew: “No ads available” followed by ads that won’t play. As I said, this problem hasn’t surfaced until semi-recently, so I’m not sure which update brought on this bug but it needs to be fixed ASAP..Version: 1.1.5
✓ The game that once wasStarted playing this game on the day it was released, it was fun easy to get into and you could reach some of the high prizes in the special events just by collecting regularly….. fast forward a couple of years and you are now expected to spend over £50 per event just to get a glimpse of the leaderboard which is full of bots ( the developers will claim there is not) but after bubbles Ricky Trevor and George knock you down to the bottom of the board there comes a point where you just have to think screw this game. ✓ Have to pay if you want to get anywhere.The main game has always been extremely slow without spending real money. These last seasons that have been added though are a joke. You just can’t progress at times without spending money. It's basically impossible to get all the event rewards without spending a decent amount. This last event I spent 150 hash coins (in-game premium currency) and couldn’t even get the first rocket reward. That’s around $15-$20. Watched all the videos for rewards etc, played a lot, and still couldn’t get close. The developers are just getting greedier as the game goes on. The offers for free hash coins never work. Spent 30-60min doing different surveys, games, registering for things etc. Didn’t end up getting a single hash coin from any of them. Complete waste of my time. ✓ Good for fans of the showGood: The episode structure makes for a nice twist on a familiar mobile genre and allows the devs to insert some of the shows signature humor. They also clearly know the show. While the humor isn't nearly as great, it fits with the tone and more than gets the job done. Bad: definitely a pay-to-win model to a certain extent. You can win by letting it automate in the background, but it will take a while and you are going to want to come back every 4 hours to cash in on the timed in-game currency chest. The special events are very clearly designed to be almost unbeatable without paying. Possibly the most frustrating issue: hash coin pricing is terrible. The best chest requires you invest around $50 of real currency to have enough coins. If the best chest were, say $5-$10 I would probably buy at least a few on impulse. As is, I am not even a little tempted to spend money because the exchange rate is so bad..Version: 1.1.4
✓ Really dirty moneyFunny and slightly addictive, but frustrating as hell when it comes to 'special events.' Where you can "win" different special characters and items to make your normal park more efficient. What it should really say is "buy" special characters and events, because despite playing daily and trying to stay on top of opening free trunks, it is pretty much impossible to get the cards unless you spend money on skipping days worth of money collecting. Each event in the pst few months have been 'rebalanced' yet still do not allow a casual player to even unlock the first stage of the special cards. The past 3 events I couldn't even get the last building automated due to insufficient cards or upgrade materials. So if you want those special cards be ready to shell out a decent amount of cash. ~Lives up to its dirty money name..Version: 1.2.0

✓ Too many bugsI downloaded the game the first day it cane out and played it every single day until about December of 2018 and then I stopped for a few months. There were just too many bugs. I finally started it back up a few months back and the bugs have only gotten worse. The app crashes too often and for some reason when you just click out if the app (not closing it) or sometimes when you swipe up to close, it will freeze in the closing process...and it will happen with other apps you might try to close too. Also, if you’re trying to click on another app. This should not happen and it’s been an issue for several months. I believe I am around level 110 now...maybe even slightly higher and it’s just becoming increasingly difficult and too long to complete missions. Characters need to be around level 16-19 and they need about 80-90 cards and over 2000 liquor. At the rate you can get liquor and cards it’s just become a bit boring. I love the contests and they’re fun but the regular seasons becoming too difficult and pro-longed to get through and the bugs have easily decreased my review of this game..Version: 1.16.2

And by that I mean it would probably cost you 2 or 3 buys of the packages ($30-$45). You would be better off buying a proper game for your PS4. The game is also VERY slow though. ✓ Trailer park boysI have had this game for games and really enjoyed it, I have over the years invested money in this game as sometimes I think it is so hard to get ANYWHERE without doing. ✓ Like Gettin 2 Birds Stoned at OnceThis game is hilarious and brings back a lot of good memories. It has a few flaws though. When you don’t have the correct amount of liquor to upgrade a character, the game will ask if you want to purchase the liquor with hash coins with a convenient, quick-buy pop-up table. However, the amount of hash coins the quick-buy table requests is MUCH more than if I purchased the liquor outright in the store. I will never take that deal. I like the side-challenges that sprout up constantly, but they all have an obvious paywall. You’ll be rewarded but you’ll never, ever be able to reach the top tier rewards within the time limit without spending money. I don’t even know if it’s possible to reach this level if you played 24/7. Still, it is optional and there is no real paywall for the game. It would be nice to be able to purchase these characters with hash coins. I’ll also never spend my money to “gamble” on a prize with a spin wheel or anything. ✓ Great game, few changes neededTrailer Park Boys: Greasy Money is a fun little game that has had plenty of attention and added content from the developers since launch. Lots of attention to detail, tie-ins from storylines on the show and more. There are three issues that are stopping me rating the game 5 stars and those are: 1) Items unlocked from special events, for example the ‘Stolen ATM’ and ‘Kiddie Vodka Pool’ are listed as ‘characters’. This isn’t a huge deal at all and doesn’t change any game mechanics, but it doesn’t make sense and just bugs me maybe a little more than it should. 2) Although The businesses are highly animated, the special event characters/unlocks are just static images that collect up at the bottom of the screen. They look good, but as they are the most sought after/rarest collectibles in-game, you wouldn’t expect them to do less than the main game mechanic. 3) The game STILL isn’t optimised for iPhone X. It shouldn’t take this long to slightly adjust the user interface to make full use of the bigger screen! That said, I do enjoy this game and still play it as regularly as I did when it first came out. And that is a LOT of playtime. The game itself is neat, but the app itself could use some work. ✓ The end is nigh…I’ve been playing this game from the beginning but am regretful to say that it has now become unplayable. Firstly, EVERY TIME I load the game, it insists on a lengthy update - standard is 64Mb, but between events it can be as high as 200Mb. The latter seems ridiculous in its own right but 64Mb every time I load the game is a bit laughable. Secondly - and more importantly - it crashes EVERYWHERE. In the main game I can’t progress to the next stage because it crashes. I can’t upgrade any businesses because it crashes. Sporadically switching to mini events makes it crash. Sometimes for no apparent reason, it crashes. And - again - every time it crashes and I reload, I’m met with my friend the 64Mb update. So the whole thing is just not worth it anymore. I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling, freeing up space, the lot. Nothing works. The game itself takes up an extortionate amount of physical space and is basically unusable. It was fun while it lasted, but it’s pretty much dead in the water as far as I can see. It’s all over Reddit ways to exploit this game for free and unfortunate I’ve run into one this event. Smooth sailing in first place. All of a sudden a random guy comes from the mid 50’s and is now pumping out so much cash flow per second there’s not a chance anyone can catch him. People are using automatic tappers. People are using phone time resets for event trunks and card buying. Stacking cards on time resets. It’s sort of a mess. So play at your own risk..Version: 1.12
✓ MehHas potential but gets really old really fast. The game basically consists of tapping to collect money from businesses to buy more businesses to tap and collect money from and thats about it. I know its just a game but I built up over $1M in around 5 minutes which seems a bit daft as its trailer park boys... Reading the pointless conversations also became annoying served no purpose so just ended up tapping through them after a few minutes. The game can be played with ease without reading anything that has been said. After completing each 'level' which seemed to be just when you hit a certain amount of money you are busted and sent to jail, but not before the 'boss fight' which consisted of tapping the screen as many times as possible in a set time. Again I'm not sure on what the purpose of said fight was as you always lost and still ended up in jail. After being released from jail all your money is gone and the process begins again of collecting and buying the same businesses again. This repeats with every level, I quit after 4 although I'm not sure how I made it that far. If I wasn't a huge TPB fan I don't think I would have given it 5 minutes..Version: 1.1.4
✓ Pay to win of epic proportionsThe game seems designed to frustrate you into paying absurd amounts of money. You will progress just to the point of receiving a new character, and then the time gated “drops” that are required to perform the upgrade necessary to unlock a new character suddenly stop dropping. I performed an experiment and set an alarm so that each time gate would alert me so I could maximize play time. This resulted in me logging in every two hours minimum with multiple check ins to perform pick ups that were not yet automated. This play style over 3 days resulted in me getting 1/4 of the way to unlocking a new character before the 3 day event ended. Don’t bother with this game until they make changes because as of right now the game is “pay $20 every other day to unlock a tiny image that will have no noticeable effect on gameplay” Edit: Unfortunately a canned response from the developer posted on other reviews as well. As stated, I maximized possible playtime to an unrealistic degree, even tapping away during work hours. This was a targeted test to determine if possible to unlock players without paying. I repeat, not possible. I intend to uninstall if one more attempt renders no result. Edit: I finally deleted the game. I had hoped the developers would have been responsive to customer complaints to bring the pay to win aspect under control but it is not the case. Avoid this game at all costs..Version: 1.10.1

I’m currently in the middle of an event and 2 of my vendors are not producing any cash like they’re meant to regardless of how many customers I purchase for them It’s been like this since the event started and hasn’t changed. So I’ve lost out on a massive amount of progression. (I also took a screen recording to show the issue but it can’t be uploaded). The hash coins are way over valued. I can’t make myself spend 5 dollars for a handful of virtual currency that barely gives me anything. There definitely needs to be some adjustments and re-evaluation in the game but it is addicting and fun because I have watched trailer park boys religiously and love the show so I am able to deal with these things. The mechanics are simple and easy to learn but there are some aspects of the game that are just shamelessly pay to win and it really brings you out of the experience. If some of those aspects were removed or tweaked (i.e. have some other way in the game to get liquor or hash coins, which are important, even by watching ads or something), not only would the game be much better, it wouldn’t remove you from the experience. ✓ Try’s it’s best to get you to part with your cashEnjoyed this game to begin with, it’s very repetitive but addictive. One massive flaw the events I have played 3 and realised something very quickly computer generated players in the scoreboard preventing you finishing high to gain valuable rewards. The developer will say this is lies however for a player to get 6.16i in the space of minutes of event starting is impossible also seen ridiculous scores that me and my team have calculated that the possibility of someone gaining the scores published is impossible even with time skips so either the developers are not playing by the rules to force you to spend money or ???? . ✓ More pay to playThis use to be a fun game but they have made it move towards pay to play players. You use to be able to play without paying it was just slower. Now the don’t allow the cards you need to get past about 1/2 way till the last 24 hours of the special events. Then you have cram as much as possible to finish in the last few hours. They also have made it where you have to click the double money button and watch a add to get to 30 boost to Pop up. It’s just not as fun as it was. I have been playing for years and it’s kind of boring now. You use to get 300 per trunk opening now you are lucky to get 150 per trunk opening for your 2 hour trunk. So usually you can’t place higher then 50 in the special events. I use to be able to get into the 20 area but not anymore. It’s become more focused on the money then fun. They have lots of bots to push you down on the list to try and get you to spend money and play on your competitive side..Version: 1.27.0

✓ Catch 23 situationFun game but TERRIBLE app. Often takes 10 minutes to load and if you change screens (IE: accept a phone call) it restarts the download. Takes all the fun out of the experience. Tried clearing cache, deleting and redownloading game and it continues and this is the only game/app it works with. Time to move on from this one and it more of a waste of time than an enjoyable time waster..Version: 1.32.0

✓ Spam AdsWhile mildly amusing at times, this game is balanced so that you need to watch ads or make in app purchases to progress. This would be fine, however the in-app purchases are wildly expensive and shoved into your face at every turn, making this game unaffordable even to people who would be inclined to spend a bit of money. Furthermore, and more importantly, the ads on this app link occasionally link to scams (eg. The Sterdio Watch scam). It’s disgusting that a developer would allow that trash on their app and shows an incredible lack of concern for the player/customer’s well being. As such, this app will be deleted. ✓ What you want to knowOkay I love this show, and have been playing this game for months BUT, here is what any gamer would want to know: first your ability to advance the game gets slower and slower, being able to move up levels becomes more time than skill dependent. Second, at level 32 one of the goals (renovate businesses) is unachievable as I’ve already maxed the businesses. So in other words the game gets broken. Wish I would have known this about 50 hours of game play earlier - I’d like to have that time in my life back please. Lastly, the special event challenges (wedding, burger cook off, etc.) get recycled over and over again. This game is amusing, but any dedicated player will overcome the programmers capacity for improving and expanded the experience within a month or so..Version: 1.3.1
✓ Massively Pay to win!Played for a few weeks and although fun, unless you’re willing to part with a lot of money you have no chance of winning anything good in the events. This wouldn’t be so bad if the cost of event boosters wasn’t so extortionate, and even then you’re not guaranteed a genuine shot at winning. You can be way ahead of other players but then someone shoots past you somehow overnight! I’d like to rate more as it is enjoyable but until the cost of event boosts is lowered i’m giving a 2 star review..Version: 1.24.3
✓ Sadly, Trailer Park Boys is no longer fun to play.This game has become an Ad machine. Constantly you are being flooded to see Ad’s. Some Ad’s are forced on you during gameplay. I spend more time watching Ad’s than I do playing the game. The Ad’d are no long short they go on for 30 seconds or more each and they marke it very difficult to close the Ad when it’s over to resume playing. Instead of passing time playing a game you are stuck watching Ad’s. Most Ad’s cannot have the sound muted even knowing you have the game sounds disabled. What’s worse is most Ad’s are played at a max volume level. If you are talking to someone while you are playing you can’t hear them while the Ad is playing. It will play over other app sources like your music or radio app or stop them so the Ad is the only thing that you can hear. Time to delete this game and move on!!!.Version: 1.31.0
