✓ Absolute Garbage!Didn’t transfer ANY of my many apps, settings, or desktop. Transferred only 10% of my 400+ contacts and changed the order/way they were filed/displayed for that 10%. If you are a young teenager with only a few friends and no apps, this may be fine. If you are a professional with many contacts and technical apps carefully grouped, this program is actually worse than nothing at all - as you will simply waste hours trying to get it to work like those at the local Verizon Store claim it will. This Verizon iPhone transfer process has actually taken a great step BACKWARDS from 2.5 years ago when we last changed our phones. This weekend Verizon will see 2 customers of 15-20 years go to another provider. These are simply unacceptable levels of service - unless of course - you want to put all your personal/private data in their cloud!.Version: 3.5.19
✓ TransferHorrible experience! I purchased an upgrade for my husband and he isn’t computer savvy, not that I but do have a little more patience with this type of thing. I tried following the directions for Content transfer that the sales rep gave us. Never worked via the QR. spent all evening trying. Day 2: finally success with manual transfer. What happened to customer service at the store in which they transferred the contacts, etc for you? We pay major bucks for these phones and they cannot simply transfer the information for us? I don’t get it! If it weren’t for the fact jay sprint has poorer reception out in the rural areas of the various counties I am in I would definitely be looking for a change & I have been with Verizon a very long time!.Version: 3.5.13
✓ Verizon’s poor customer serviceVerizon used to transfer the contents of your old iPhone to your new iPhone. The rep at the Verizon store said that they don’t do that anymore because they have too many thing connected to their WiFi. Unfortunately, I don’t have WiFi so I have to wait until I can go to a friend’s house and access their WiFi. When I was able to go to a friend’s house and tried using the transfer app it was a joke! Being that I have low vision my friend said that she would do this transfer for me. She was able to get some of my contacts transferred to my new iPhone. None of the apps that I purchased or were free transferred. I spent $900 at Verizon. I eventually went to an Apple Store to get my new phone set up the right way. The customer service was great. Everything was transferred to my new phone and he backed up everything to the Cloud. I will not purchase another phone from Verizon. We’ve been with them 20 years. I’m guessing that they don’t read these reviews because nothing changes..Version: 4.1.0
✓ Waste of timeThis app is so bad. My first 2 attempts at transferring content using this app both resulted in a pop up saying something went wrong with the connection and the transfer failed. Once it finally went through, it only transferred my camera roll (photos&videos) but none of my apps, messages, etc. That being said, the ONE thing it actually did transfer, it did horribly. My photos and videos are in such a random order that I can’t easily find anything. It also created weird albums I didn’t make. This took 3 hours and I will probably have to factory reset my phone and go through with the transfer via Apple (the right way) so it was all for nothing. Such a waste of time..Version: 3.5.30

✓ Awesome idea but major bug.This app is very convenient and a great tool for transferring content from one device to another. However, I have tried transferring my photos and videos from my old iPhone to my new iPhone a couple of times and both times after the transfer was complete my photos were completely jumbled up. My most recent pictures were instead in the middle / top of my camera roll and my old photos were where the recents should be. Fantastic app aside from this, hope this bug is fixed soon..Version: 3.5.9
✓ Plan on lots of timeI will preface this with saying I had a lot of content on my old phone. With that being said it took me over 15 hours to transfer everything. The first try was 5 hours into it when an incoming phone call stopped the transfer. I restarted it and it was another 10-12 to get it going. It probably only had about an hour left when the transfer was interrupted again by something (not sure what it was but woke up to my phone saying transfer had failed). Thankfully it was just some videos left so I just clicked on the transfer to finish that at the end. Just be aware that it will take a long time and your phone will be useless until the transfer is complete..Version: 3.5.13
✓ Good when you can get it to workTransfers very quickly, but only when you can get it to work. Apparently it can transfer over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. But the instructions say to turn off Bluetooth to broadcast services? How can Bluetooth work if you turn it off? Doesn’t make sense. Wi-Fi transfer can only be done on 2.4 ghz and not on 5 ghz. I kept trying to use the 5 channel and it kept giving errors. When I finally used the 2.4 channel it finally worked..Version: 4.2.0
✓ Needs work!Transferring data from Google Pixel devices to new iPhones did not include apps or contacts in the transfer. Second call to Verizon support was required in order to separately invoke use of Verizon Cloud or Google Drive content to complete those items. Additionally, Verizon online documentation regarding transfer excluded correct steps for required manual setup of transfer…including the need to fully activate the iPhone before making use of Verizon’s data transfer app and the need to skip the transfer prompts presented by Apple transfer offered during device setup. For me a big miss by Verizon on documentation and required I add a paid tech support service to my account because texting support at Verizon was also unable to diagnose the issue compared to their own support documentation..Version: 4.2.0
✓ Verizon content appThis app is not intuitive at all. Revived no guidance from store on how to use. I gamy fairly tech savvy and it still took 2 hours to start the transfer of 2 phones. Glitches in the software; stated I was not connected to Wi-Fi when phone showed connectivity. The fact that there are many choices when it comes to phone carriers next time whether the store will transfer the data between phones or I have to make an appointment to this or use this insufficient app will play a part on my decision of what carrier I choose. ✓ Can’t get past connecting to WiFiThis app seems to work on my old pixel 5, but does not appear to be compatible with my new phone (iPhone 15). While the Pixel seems ready to transfer, the iPhone app keeps prompting me to connect to the same WiFi as the other phone even though it’s already connected to that WiFi. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarting, toggling airplane mode, using other networks, disabling mobile network, checking for app and OS updates… everything I can think of. But it just stays stubbornly indicating that I’m not connected to WiFi when… I am. Feels like I’m being trolled by a phone..Version: 4.2.0
✓ Good, when it worksThe first phone I transferred using this app worked well, although I thought it would transfer more data items than the few it did. However the second phone was a problem. The transfer was interrupted by a phone call and hung. There was no indication that it hung, but after several hours of no progress, I killed it and attempted multiple times to rerun it. The final solution was to uninstall the app and start a new transfer after deleting all the photos that did transfer. The multiple attempts also duplicated contacts - a major issue in my opinion. This could be a great app with a little more work..Version: 4.1.0
✓ App minimized repeatedlyFirst, it should be made clear that the new phone can be “set up”, then installed on it, which is necessary to do the transfer. Next, the app disappeared from the screen on my old phone repeatedly (minimized, but not closing entirely) and reset to the first step, so I had to start over about 10 times. It could have been a problem with my old phone, but that doesn’t happen with other apps and I’m sure it happened once on my new phone, too. Once it finally started transferring, then it stayed open and finished the process..Version: 4.1.0
✓ Transfers...WRONG CONTACTS!Got a new phone today at a Verizon store. Asked if they could also transfer my contacts for me, he said no problem and to download this app. I did, and he helped with the transfer. Since I was only transferring contacts it took less than a minute. Well, I scroll through my contacts list, everything looks good so far...until I look further into it. But at this time I have already left the store hours ago! Some of my contacts are meshed with other contacts. Some contacts are named wrong. Ugh. Now I have to look through all of my contacts and correct it. I could go back to the store and ask them to do it again, however, why waste my time if I’m probably going to get the same results. 😒😑😡.Version: 3.5.12
