✓ Too expensiveThis is not nearly as good as the original Rome total war and the other DLC barbarian invasion. The map is trash and gameplay is limited to only 1 faction. This has no re-play value. It is way too overpriced. This should be less than half the price it is now. Fine if you buy the whole collection though. If you aren’t buying this as part of the collection, don’t get this. However I highly recommend you to get both Rome total war and Rome total war barbarian invasion..Janakan257Version: 1.8.1

✓ Controls in battle seem overwhelming and confusingI don’t know whether I find it hard to play because I’m totally new to this game genre or not however I find the tutorial, which are videos on YouTube rather lacking and while I am trying to enjoy the game, the fact that there isn’t a physical part of the game to learn by yourself without effecting actual game time. It’s a lot to learn and I just need somewhere where I can do it for myself... I will not remember all of the info given in 10 videos worth by just reading. ✓ Great idea, horrible execution on the iPadShort: skip this and just play the PC version. The iPad controls are simply horrible! Instead of mouse, shift, left and right buttons, you’d have to tap a gazillion times more to get things done. Horrible UX!!! There were lots of times where the troops were just misguided or require too many taps just to do something that could be done in less than a second on the PC. Save yourself and don’t get this. ✓ DisappointedTwo things. This really needed to let players play both sides( big let down). Also no one ever makes a version of ruling the Roman Empire at it’s peek?? All I ever see build it or fight for it. I think your version Would be perfect. I would love your version to come out with a time set at the beginning of the Emperor Trajans Rule or right after his death. I’m nearly 50 years old and I wanted a game like this since I was a kid . ✓ Good with some flawsThis game was good on custom battles however it would not line up the troops in the ranks that you want as you can in other total war games. On the campaign I could only play as Macedonia and there was no marrying your sons or even adopted sons off to continue the bloodline. There are many things that were enjoyable for me as well though. Some of these things may just be because I didn’t realise certain things or have been fixed so you may want to take this review with a grain of salt.I wish to be annonimousVersion: 1.13

✓ AlexanderWorst game I ever played as it consistently cheats. Every time you make progress loads of your cities revolt and within one turn have fully gained and equipped armies. This coincides with you being unable to recruit or hire any troops for over 20 turns. ✓ Decent game, but disappointingSame standards of graphics and mechanics as both Rome and Barbarian Invasion. However, you only are allowed to play as Macedonia, the map is quite warped, and you only have until Alexander dies to pretty much conquer the entire map. If the time limit wasn’t there and you can play as all other factions, it would have gotten 5 stars. This is not worth the $5 it takes to buy it.
