✓ Total Battle is a total rip-offIt’s a shame that developers are allowed to get away with charging such obscene prices for the price privilege of advancing in the game. Sure you can play for free, but the game only has appeal if you are advancing by levelling-up your heroes and city. This is painfully slow unless you are prepared to pay dearly. After two weeks or so of trying to move up the ranks and paying a fair price to do so, I am deleting the app. Another disappointing game in a basket full of low hanging fruits. ✓ Money driven with no idea of customer service or even common senseEverything in the game is about money, they'll try to claw it out of you at every opportinuty. Then, if they make a mistake, they'll delete things you've paid for and just send you standard emails from 'support' telling you they don't care. A good game, spoiled by greed and a terrible company running it. Oh, and it's fullof bugs too, with appalling quality control, but they just add more ways to charge you money rather than fix anything. ✓ Very expensive to play competitivelyFirst off the game is fun but it is very expensive to play competitively. It would take you three months to do what somebody can do in one week for $250 pack. They even have a $500 pack support for the game is there, but they are slow. I had a problem and they kept overwhelming me with emails that wanted me to explain the same problem over and over again until eventually I just got sick of it in gave up so in the end my problem was never fixed. All I know the game is a lot of fun. Everything works fine, they do maintenance just like any game but unfortunately I don’t have the cash flow to level up as fast as others. I spent $2000 in the first month and my friend spent $7000 the first month so when I go in the farm for the valor points, that’s what levels you up I get like 200,000 compared to his 2 billion so he levels everything up very quickly whereas me I’m looking at a couple months plus but this money is no object for you. Enjoy the game it’s fun on the other hand if you don’t have a money tree in your backyard, be prepared to take an extreme amount of time to level up, they will put you in a new kingdom with other new players in the you have five or six months to level before they open the kingdom to all 130 some kingdoms most of those players already billion might you’ll be lucky to be at 5 million 10 million and that’s if you spend money $2000 got me right around the 7 million might.Version: 315.6

✓ UpdatesBeen playing the game for a while now and currently waiting for the update on iOS. But I’ve been 20 minutes and the update hasn’t begun yet. The last time I experienced this I couldn’t download the game for several days and eventually I gave up and only tried a few weeks later, I cannot remember exactly how long it took for the update to download. So this is the second time app has not downloaded immediately and now I’ve been making in app purchases, currently in the middle of a clan tournament ANd still try to get as much triumph points as I can for the season. I’m actually holding clan points which are valuable to us during Vault of the Ancient tournament. Oh and I’m currently day one into my mercenaries purchase did I mention. Then the game falls into tedium of trying to research and upgrade weapons by fighting monsters near your city for experience. Unfortunately, your army is worthless, and you can only attack things that are weak which yield so little experience you will get nowhere unless you pay up $100 for the experience points needed. There are plenty of great games on Steam that are half that one time and you can play all you want. Then there are other players that are apparently not concerned with flushing hundreds of good dollars down this toilet that come and sack your city, setting you back, killing your troops and stealing your resources. What seems like a fairly straightforward game based on a mathematically driven battle game soon descends into a complex strategy game designed to drag as much cash out of players as possible. I have no objections to complex strategy games, but please market it as such. Similarly I applaud anyone running a business and earning money but the prices charged are ridiculous (in my opinion) If you want to get hooked into something that looks on the face of it as simple, then get immersive after which you start partying with unrealistic amounts of cash then this is the game for you. ✓ Money SchemeBelieve all the bad reviews for this game and don’t even waste your time. This game is purely for players that PAY to play - with real money. No matter what the developers or support team says, joining an active clan or whatever their recommendation is, it’s not worth your time or money to play this game. Maybe for others, but just quit while you’re ahead. You could easily spend hundreds of dollars on this game on a daily/monthly basis, and that would not last you more than 2-3 months of playing (and that’s if you’re being frugal) until you’re back at it again. ✓ Non clan and small clan players disadvantagedThis game has some interesting features and lots of potential but sadly has been let down by the following: - As stated in a previous review here, the game massively favours big clans and the elite few in those clans. It has become a game of who can spend the most, skill has become secondary; - Non clan players are discriminated against both by the system and by the big clans. The game should note that a $ spent by non clan players is just as much as a $ by the big clan player. Yet there are tournaments only the clans can take part in which is very unfair. At the time of joining the game, no warning is provided about the penalties and disadvantages non clan players faced. I see a lot of non clan players giving up which means loss of potential revenue that the game doesnt realise. Short sighted; - Bullying is endemic in this game with the elites in the big clans being the worst culprits, setting rules that consolidate their own positions and further weaken others; - If you have a problem with gambling or overspending, please do not play this game! ✓ I actually wanted to like this gameBut it’s forsure a (your money will get you where you want to be) I get these people have to make money but most of them are greedy and know most people have some addiction and will bite… just delete the game save money and brain cells on more productive things.. I was still unsure as to whether this was going to be a game worth keeping, so I did pay for a basic in app purchase, only to find that the ‘paywall’ I had reached was still stopping me from doing anything. If it weren’t for the other players the game would be a dud. But it’s that loyalty which makes you want to spend money and achieve. You cannot play this game for free without getting progressively frustrated and drop out, it’s just the reality of how the game is designed, and I know plenty of players who try to limit themselves to under $100 per week, which is still difficult. In 8 months it’s easy to max out cards and credit limits in this game. So don’t believe it when the developers say there are ‘ways’ to play that are less expensive. Players have scores in the billions and trillions, and if your player is in the tens of thousands in score, you can quickly see there is no comparison. You spend to advance and win. Bottom line. And even if you paid thousands of dollars for this game you still wouldn’t catch to players who have been playing for months. ✓ False advertising.I’ve seen others say the same thing since downloading this game. It is nothing like what is advertised. It’s similar to other clan based fighting games where players will spend fortunes to get to a place in the game where they are unbeatable. And the only people they impressed by doing that was themselves although being able to beat people in a strategy game gave some an ego that made them feel like being able to buy success made them superior to most of the human race. ITS A GAME FFS. People laughed at those who spent fortunes. ✓ Money Hungry Company!Great Game but money hungry, Cash greedy developers. I’ve spent around $300 on this game and I’m about 5M Might. The developer says join a clan but I’m in the highest ranked clan of my Kingdom with around 700 Chests per day and while that’s very helpful I’m still hit with many times where I just don’t have enough of something. Not enough speedups, Not enough Valor, Not enough gold. Not enough stone, But hey always presented with the option to spend more real money to get each of those things which are strategically placed in different packages. Then if you buy a $4.99 package your presented with an offer with larger quantity of the same items for a higher price. Or the limited offers with countdown timers that when expires just resets again. It’s all mind games and psychology of humans they are manipulating. This game is just too expensive to really play! Then I start looking at other Kingdoms with 5 Billion might for single player and realize you would either have to spend a decade playing this game or like $10,000 to be one of the top players of the game..Version: 323.1
✓ No response from supportI am really shocked by the support team complacency, lack of interest to resolve any issues. I got double charged on 2 occasions were an amount of $75 was incorrectly charged, another time i paid $150 but the game froze midway and did not credit me accordingly. Multiple messages were sent to the support team yet no response came forth. I had to resort to my bank. Also, the game has a glitch we’re it will charge you the first time then it will appear as the soldiers have not been revived and will charge the account a second time. No response was received as this glitch was doubling their profits since players will need to exchange real money to receive game coins . The game is geared so you keep spending and can easily spent over $1000 a week. The worse part is the total lack of support you receive although they claim there is a support section. You will have no way to fight back or attack unless you spent a bunch of money and time trying to get levelled up. Perhaps you make a 50% might rule for attacking pvp and clans attacking other clans. The rule should be standard for ALL kingdoms. Not just one. The prices to play and develop are very costly and very unaffordable for young and old players. Drop the high prices and make the game affordable for everyone and not just a few. Rid the game of the hacks that take advantage of their scams and multiple emails they can use to get free money. Don’t allow clans to get so big in might that no players or other clans can even have a chance to fight back after a powerful clan has attacked a much lower in might clan. However I have had purchases fail to give me what I bought but they still took my money just fine. I reached out to the support team and they do not reply! Also when you revive your troops they often pop back up and you have to revive them twice using your resources which go quickly enough as is. There are other glitches in the game such as completing crypts but not receiving clan chest for them. I’m going to finish my month out since I purchased the triumphant rewards package but I’m probably quitting afterwards! Word of advice this game is addictive and you will be tempted to spend your money and they don’t play fair! They take your money but don’t deliver on their end! It will pretend that the game is “frozen”, you have to restart. While you restart – it will take a time and have to restart several times – one of the “enemy” (actually the owner created player) will attack you and rob you. It means that you have to pay again. You will always get an attack when you are offline. Read the comments, several players paid THOUSANDS of dollars without reaching anything. ✓ Game is now delaying actions and other commentsHi I am hoping this patch fixes recent delays in game, my hero just levelled up for no reason it’s atleast 10yrs since I fought so not sure what’s happening. I’ve not had credit for combining materials which is really disappointing. I cannot scroll on task list it’s stuck. The offside games have just ended with no follow on again disappointing as they were good to top up or just keep you playing. The mountain with the little games has only opened once and never again so disappointing. I since then being trying to talk with support but they simply refuse to respond anything else and bully me or strong arm me if you prefer so I brought all this to iTunes and iTunes will be investigating TB as well for compliance and they are not allowed to freeze my account that I spent so much money on as well. My clan and I had a fort attacked, but no one received a report to tell us the fort was burning. Thinking it a fault or a bug, we did nothing - we had nothing to tell us it had been attacked. Eventually the fort disappeared, which is as designed by the game when a fort is attacked. When I contacted support, all they did to offer assistance was to show me a report of the attack - a report no one in the clan had seen before. ✓ Fun, but expensive to be competitiveThere are lots of simple fun activities in the game and an ability to join clans and connect with people. However, it is obvious you will just be frustrated if you don’t pay to pay. Developers continue to respond that the game is free to play, but either it takes you so long to do anything or you can’t get/find the gear you need, there just aren’t good ways to be competitive with spending a lot of money. Contrast this to a console game, which typically have way better graphics and game mechanics, but you pay a onetime fee for the, typically $50-$100, but then you get to play unlimited. Mobile app developers have found a way to milk too much money out of people, but I’m sure the trend will turn back around. The city image only operates in portrait mode. I think the developers need to really think about this game and how to simplify the interface. ✓ Game Would be great without a bully clanI’ve only been playing this game for a couple of weeks and it seem to be pretty decent for the most part. I ended up calling out a clan that was breaking every rule of engagement out there, and they still are. Not only did I get muted, because I compared the clan to Joseph Stalin, but now this clan is continuing to bully the entire kingdom, and break every rule of engagement there is. Relentlessly. I’ve spent a lot of money on this game, and I would rather have a refund and delete this game if that’s how it’s going to be, allowing bullies. Just a little hints of advice, do not go to kingdom 115 because the Atlantis clan is the biggest set of bullies out there and they should be banned from the game completely or better yet, don’t play this game because if you compare that clan to the Stalin regime, the moderators will mute you in kingdom chat. ✓ It’s fun but expensiveThis game is a lot of fun it’s very addicting. There are so many features, and so much to learn. The community of other players are fun and gracious. That said it’s very expensive to play. There are other games out there that are not as bad maybe they don’t have the same features, but they have similar but cost less. I know I know you don’t have to pay to play, but let’s be real. If you’re going to advance in any way where you can play it functionally every day you’re gonna need to make purchases and that’s the way this game is set up. When you attack or other people attack you the loss of resources is rather significant and unless you’re gonna do one or two attacks a day you’re gonna need to purchase more resources. I think that’s the biggest drawback of this game because there are other games out there that are just as fun and you can play them every day and go a month without spending money. ✓ Lost interest after a week - impossible to earn gold coinsThis game would be much better if it was more possible to earn gold coins to keep the momentum going. A lot of the time the rewards you earn are not given to you. Ie: gold earned in an achievement is never appended to your account. This happens constantly and players end up purchasing resources because contacting the deverloper is a time wasted nightmare. I kept playing, several tournaments to keep the momentum going…. It’s a bit expensive to play but better than others. I would suggest that as captains level up and the cost of building goes up that the amount of gold earned in quests also increase accordingly..Version: 318.10
