✓ Vineyard valleyThis game is very hard to play, there is no hints to help you, and when you buy coins and you use them, the next time you use it it’s double or triple. I just hate this game and I won’t put one penny more, it’s frustrating I still feel the same way.Version: 1.7.12
✓ It’s fun, until it’s notI can’t figure out the developers motivation. I’m currently stuck on level 2,429. It’s another of those that isn’t beatable until you’ve played it enough times for the game to let you pass. It means I can’t collect any extras, or participate in the side challenges. They release new story levels once a week, that’s still sort of fun. The really confusing thing is the cottage decoration challenge. I don’t understand why they would put effort into building something and make it impossible to win. You need more than 500 points to complete the challenge. Even if you won every level on the first try, getting the max points, you’d need to beat 100 levels in 21 days. Maybe some people play this game like it’s their job....Version: 1.27.4

✓ Levels are too difficultI love the storyline, and I love being able to decorate and restore everything, but it takes forever to do anything because most of the levels are way too hard. I’ve passed levels that were labeled as “hard” that were way easier than a lot of normal levels. I get so tired of replaying the same level over and over again. Another thing is that simple things that should only “cost” one star require two stars. I’ve played a very similar game (Lily’s Garden) and the levels are way easier to beat, not to mention the game is a lot more generous than this one. It offers free boosters (that actually help you progress) while this game rarely offers anything. I’ve spent money on both games and not only is this one a lot more expensive, you get way less for it..Version: 1.19.8
✓ Too much dialogue!Why do game developers think all players want to spend endless amounts of time reading the back story to the game? I want to play the levels and progress - I do not want to read the dialogue between characters because I don’t care. At least provide a “Skip” option as some other games do. ✓ BuggyI really enjoy the game. Keeps me entertained for hours on end. My only grievance is that after I reached level 100, the game got super buggy. The characters don’t move properly, the levels quit halfway through a game and the dialogue doesn’t load properly. I’ve tried redownloading the game but still buggy. ✓ Fun, but...I like the game. The graphics are nice, the story is a little wordy, but, ok. I enjoy the renovations and decorating. The FRUSTRATING thing about it, though, is that it always LOCKS UP on the puzzle screen and CONSTANTLY CRASHES! Sometime restarting the app will move you forward as it should, but sometimes you lose the last game and star and have to replay the puzzle. I want to continue with this, but the crashes are getting to be too annoying. I have read other reviewer that are having similar issues so I hope you can resolve whatever the problem is, or I may have to delete this app. Update: I have tried everything listed on your support page. The game has become unplayable. It’s really a shame. So many reviews list these same issues and you can’t or won’t fix the technical problems. ✓ Too difficult to earn starsI have played one board over 100 times without winning. I have come close - to within one item left to clear - multiple times. This seems like a tease to entice you to spend dollars. I have purchased a few packages in this game but this is now to the point of ridiculous. I do not mind spending money in a game when I can see advancement but this game has become boring because I am unwilling to spend more money. This game is not designed for-advancement unless you spend money or have weeks to spend trying to clear one board. ✓ Games have lots of GlitchesFun to play. Tasks are not too difficult. But start a new task and the game will suddenly shut down. Open it up to start again 1-3 lives are gone. As I play more I’ll add more details. I’m now at level 557. It kicks me out. The difficulty of the task is not too bad but some of the created bottle rockets and barrel bombs don’t function the same. I’ve contact help about loss items and level advancement in the game. I get the same reply. Shut down the game close and shut down the device reset my router. But it does not resolve the issue. Now I’m at chapter 34 and I get a coming soon. 😱I’m through the story and it’s not finished. I suggested you not waste money on anything other than coin after level 500 Then if you choose to buy utensils use your coins. No need to play puzzles if I can’t participate in story..Version: 1.18.31
✓ WHY?I have been playing Vineyard Valley for a long time on 2 different devices and up until a few weeks ago, I have loved it. However, I am now noticing that we have to watch a video in between each and every break if we want to continue playing. It never used to be like this. We watched an occasional video for one reason or another, but not EVERY SINGLE TIME we wanted to continue the game. Why? This is just a miserable distraction from the actual game and I’m pretty sure that isn’t your intention. I have given 4 stars because I actually enjoy the game, but now that we are forced to watch videos between every level, I am thinking of deleting it. The videos make it go on way too long and, in all honesty, when the videos come up, it makes it much too easy to just leave the game. This was NOT a good move!.Version: 2.1.8

✓ No longer enjoying thisI was really enjoying this game and the ability to redesign areas and the details as well as the storyline was great. I have even bought some coins to finish some levels. Then I realised this game has no incentive to continue, no rewards worth continuing. Every other game in this category I have played has some level of reward that makes it worth you also buying some coins to finish a level. So far I have seen 15 mins of game time. Also $4.99 for 3000 coins when to get 5 extra turns for 1500 is madness. This is the most expensive I’ve seen. I was really enjoying it till some levels became almost impossible without buying coins. ✓ Favorite game until...This was my favorite game other than taking way too much time to load. Love the story line and the proper English use!! However, it has gotten much harder to stick with it due to freezing and crashing. First it was once each time I played. Now, on Level 1316, I can’t finish the board without a crash, sometimes on the first move! Worse yet is that it takes a life every time it crashes! I will probably remove the game because I, and so many others have sent these comments many times before, but no updates have been forthcoming that fixed any of these problems. Very frustrating! You also need to make your wine bottles some levels would be easier to pass if the wine bottles rotated on the spot from horizontally to vertically. also I lose free time with all the stupid back story I don’t read. I like the renovations and the game play but not a fan of all the time wasted for the back story especially when I’ve earned free lives. It is also very glitchy. Has been since the beginning. ✓ Way too many ads!!!I’ve been playing for a couple months and really enjoying the game, different levels of difficulty, decorating, following the story etc. I’ve liked this developers games for some time and play 4 on a regular basis. This one had become the one I spend the most time on… until last night. I took it down 2 stars because they now make you watch an ad before you start every level! I get ads- developers make money off them so they can develop more games. I can tolerate them on occasion (every 5 levels is fine) but this is way too much! I complete most levels the first or second attempt and typically play at least 2 hrs a night(weekends more), only takes about 2 mins or less to complete a level plus 2 mins for the ad (which is timed) , so that is about 15 ads an hour I watched last night! To make it worse, at end of some ads it locks up program and have to close and open program- only to have to watch it again before you can play (happened 4 times last night). Oh you can turn ads off- 99 cents for 30 days or 1.99 for life- but with this many ads it feels like pay or we will make your life miserable- or option 3 - delete game. I’ll give it a couple days to see if they change it (they have in their other games) but if not it will be bye bye.,.Version: 2.1.8
✓ DON’T WASTE YOUR TIMEWhen I started this game it was fun and interesting and you could move through the levels fairly quickly. I enjoyed reading the storyline that went with it as it wasn’t aimed at young children. Then suddenly on reaching level 2006, the levels are now impossible to achieve and you remain stuck for days or weeks!! on one game level, which I find is really boring as well as being frustrating. Plus when you do managed to advance one level and you try to rebuild the unlocked area, the storyline goes back a few games as does the levels, this is soooo frustrating. ✓ TimeI have played no games for indoor renovation since Margaret started renovating the vineyard. I wasn’t happy about there being a time limit, this is why I spent all my game time only on the vineyards, and I play every day. Unfortunately it still wasn’t enough. This is one of my favourite games, but if you put anything else in (like the vineyards) I will delete it. I want to go back now and complete the vineyards. ✓ Was great, now nothing??I had vineyard insiders and they’ve closed it down saying they’re moving onto new things & to try one of their other games. Content hasn’t updated in months and it looks like they’ve abandoned the game completely. It’s such a shame, it was definitely a 5* game when it started but it’s hard not to feel let down now. ✓ Not a puzzle gameI love the concept of this game. Great story line and graphics. And... I love wineries. But what I thought I would love most is the puzzles. I am a puzzle lover and find them relaxing. But what I am finding isn’t a puzzle. It is a game of fate. These wine bottles turn into rockets, but there is no control on what direction those bottles will be aiming. They actually hinder you more then help your game. And really most the help add ons don’t actually help. And as I am reading other comments, I see it isn’t just me at around 100 the puzzles are no longer solvable but more keep playing tell you just want to quite the game. As for the coins..... never use them for extra moves. They use up all the points for nothing and leave you none for upgrading the furniture. I sadly might quit this game. The game is rather slow moving and I want to emphasis this by saying no it doesn’t lag or freeze or anything of that sort, I mean once the level is over it’s just really slow to finally get back to the regular screen. ✓ Great game but crashesI love this game I’m well into level 50 and I have been having a ton of fun. I am tired of the swap pieces games so this get a ton together by clicking at least 3 out is very enjoyable. There are many challenging levels and the story is nice to watch but I have so many issues too. 1) the game constantly crashes. Like if I beat a level, crash. Mid dialogue? Crash. Almost beat a level? Crash. Used a star? CRASH! 2) visual glitches. She was putting her lavender honey cupcakes in the oven and all I see is a floating frying pan in her arm as she bends over. And does the motions. These are a few things I seen and I want to give this a perfect score but if they can fix those two for me I will. ✓ Could it be any longer?Great idea, a 3 in a row with a building element. Sounds fab but after the first few levels it just becomes too long before you can actually build anything. The tasks are just infuriating. Feed the cat, read the paper, clear the smoke, talk to the inspector, read his report and on and on it goes never getting anywhere. It looks good but after blowing 15 lives on trying to feed the cat and then every item of help on reading the note, you realise this is not going to be fun unless you shell out a large amount of cash for extra lives or bonuses. ✓ GaaahhhhhSo I’ve got the event “Gnome Improvement”, it doesn’t work. Also any stars I achieve now aren’t going onto my counter. I’m currently waiting for chapter 47 and have been building up my stars for the new chapter but they have stopped going on to the star count. ✓ Behind the paceI love the game, but there are issues. The graphics are whacky when not being played, but it is okay. I have also had it freeze when loading a new level. I had to restart my device to get it fixed. I am at level 660. But I am ahead of the storyline that you use your coins for (renovations, decorations, etc.). I have to wait for the programming to be done to continue that part of the game. When It did show that part was ready again, it only lasted about 10 levels or so. Then, the “coming soon” came up again. So I have to wait yet again to continue that part of the game. I can only play the match games, earn coins and then can’t spend them until the next episodes of the storyline are added. As a person that plays a LOT, this is more than frustrating. ✓ Hate the glitchesIt is a fun game but there is LOTS of glitches and when the characters are talking it takes forever and is so boring! One time I did The Whole kitchen and when I got back on a few hours after that ALL of my work on the kitchen did not save and it was back to the way it was when I first got the game! ✓ Getting Bored NowReserve room becoming a little too frequent therefore dragging the game on a little too much. The reward system is hit and miss, too often my rewards are awarding when I cant actually use them. Ie timed boosters awarded when no hearts available to utilise. Getting boared,puzzles are getting too hard im at 673, not in how they are solved but the blocks which are provided, average puzzle is now taking 15/20 hearts to solve which is a day or two with the frequency I play...Version: 1.13.25
✓ Here we go again !Another great game with good graphics, great story, slightly different puzzles to usual BUT ! With the usual annoying and irritating issue. I’m on level 88 have to break 3 bars on the barrels also hit the strawberries 3 times to collect and the barrels bombs and bottle bombs seem ineffective. 3 barrel bombs together cleared 6 items so progress has slowed considerably. ✓ Glitch cityThere are so many glitches it is impossible to play this game. I cannot finish a level, I cannot do the events, I cannot win the special events furniture in the time limit, I cannot change up the furniture, I cannot move around the locations, I sometimes cannot even open the game. If they do not perminately fix all these glitches soon I may delete this game, and I have been playing this game for a long time and love it. Just downloaded the latest update and it is still just as bad as before. And I am pretty mad that I was unable to complete the special furniture event before the time ran out because of all the glitches preventing me from doing anything. And what does the company do? Tells us to submit a report to their website and then their website keeps telling you that something went wrong and your complaint was not submitted. Even after multiple tries and verifications. ✓ Too Many BugsThis would be a great game if the bugs are fixed. The game freezes in the middle of playing a level causing me to lose any boosters used, and life. If I complete the level it will not let me view a view and collect the extra coins if I click watch video I get kicked out, loose the star , coins and extra coins. The game will turn the hot fuchsia color and you cannot see what level you are on if there is any task and if you go in to play the level you cannot see how many turns you have. This is just a few things I found. Fix your bugs! Now that I have passed level 600 all the game does is crash while I am playing to keep me from winning so that I will spend money. The game has even cheated me when I won level 626 but didn’t give me credit and now I have to play again. ✓ I love this game but...This game is great but I have a coupe of gripes with it. The biggest things is coins. They are so difficult to get because you gave o few coins on completion of a level. 15 in the first levels that slowly creeps up as you go. Others that I play in the same vein offer 50 coins. Then there’s the fact that 5 extra moves costs you 1500 coins!! That’s a stupid amount of coins for only 5 moves. Others charge around 500. Garden Scapes costs 900 but they give you 50 coins to finish the levels. The upgrades to the resort in this are stupid amounts of coins for the best ones too. Stars are easier to get in this game than coins, but they also get spent when you make upgrades as well as the coins. My suggestion? Stop charging so many coins for 5 extra moves and give more coins when you complete a level. It’s too frustrating to play this otherwise..Version: 1.8.25
✓ Great story line when there is oneI have been enjoying this game. It can cost to much money if you want to level up fast. Like you will need to sell a kidney money. The game starts to glitch real bad and shut down at the worst times for me just as i have started a new hard level and used power ups that I don’t get back. Total disgrace in that side. ✓ I’m on the fence with this game.It started out alright. Enough challenge to keep me playing and a storyline that wasn’t completely boring. Then it started getting to be more chatter than play and I found myself just wanting to skip all the character interactions. By the time I hit level 40 the kitchen cooking scenes were really getting annoying. You see her making the motions to open the oven but you never see the oven open. Instead she shoves nothing through the closed oven door and retrieves it the same way. Sure it is a minor issue but it detracts from the look and feel of the game very quickly. But the time I hit the triple digit levels I was finding some of the levels were starting to get so difficult that it seemed like you might have to start buying crap to continue. Usually that’s the point where I just scrap the game, delete all the content and mark it a FAIL. Sorry, with the abundance of FREE games out there if you want me to spend real cash on your game, you better make sure it is seamless, bug free, challenge worthy and has game play interesting enough to hold my attention. ✓ Yet another interesting but disappointing gameOnce again the developers just want your money and have little regard for what really could be an enjoyable game. There are few rewards and many many levels are so difficult to complete that you will have to plays them tens of times to get through them. There are no bonuses except the daily ones and even though they give you 500 points it costs a 1500 points for an extra life so you can quickly deplete any points you accumulate. The story is spotty throwing in a lot petty dialogue and drifts from the main focus which should be redecorating this restaurant. This is an issue that is also relevant to similar games. ✓ Good Story Line, But...I love the story line and the design features. My issue with it is the matching piece. I play these games to relax, not to get so frustrated that I want to pitch my iPad out the door! First - you have to win 4 match games to do most things so it becomes a very slow process. Second, there are some things, like glue, that multiply if you don’t match next to them. Most people hate glue because you are constantly losing ground. When you have multiple games in a row, all with this annoying task, it becomes very frustrating. And, if you blow it up, it still comes back!!! ✓ SO much potentialOK, so I love games similar to this and it quickly got me hooked. I would play nothing but this game except for the fact that it takes FOREVER for lives to regenerate. If you're someone who doesn't waste money on games, this may be off putting because by the time you have 6 new lives you're already booked to another game for the night. On the other hand, if you don't mind spending a few bucks here and there, the big frustration is how expensive coins are and the fact that there isn't an option that gives you unlimited lives for a certain amount of time. I've spent $5 on a game for coins but only because I also got an hour of free lives. ✓ Game is fun but crashesI enjoy this game. Has just enough restaurant tycoon elements to make the game feel like you’re progressing instead of just doing mass of puzzles one after another. Puzzles can be extremely difficult at points however I found by just trying them repeatedly—one play through will eventually just happens to have the blocks in the right order to make bombs and bottles appear (which ultimately doesn’t make the puzzles feel like an accomplishment more then just a time-filling task) One thing that is very annoying is my game crashes every several puzzles. I like the story telling, though as I have gone through the levels and am in chapter 16 my only option is the reserve room while I am waiting for new content to be delivered and even that isn’t always available (like now) which means I can play even though I have lives. So you may need to think how you can turn around new content quicker or lose me to something I can play, new stuff seems to be added weekly but this week for instance I have stalled mid chapter. Agree with the other reviews that the cost to extend for an extra 5 goes seems excessive in comparison to the reward you get for success, as such it doesn’t really get used, and if that’s your main income hook it probably means that you will either not get many coins bought or have discontented players when the content runs dry..Version: 1.10.60

Oh you can get pretty far till you get mad but it will happen. When they give u so many chances to finish a level but then make it impossible to do so unless you use boosters and of course u only get these special boosters in the first part of the game when u don’t need them. Example. You have to break tea cups. Orange tea cups. But you have to use orange blocks to do so. And guess what color of blocks you don’t seem to get. You got it. I tried for 2 days to beat the level without using any boosters. And finally I broke down. Took 4 boosters to finish that level. And now if the rest of the levels are anything like this I will have to resort to spending my money to get some. Sneaky. But I’m not stupid I refuse to waste my money to buy boosters for a game that forces me to do so. I will spend money on games but only if i decide to and only to enhance a game. I absolutely refuse to when the game demands that I do to play. Like many other decorating/block games I’ve tried they all try and trick you into thinking you should blow your paycheck on the stupid game. This one does give you a bit more play time before it happens but in the end it still does. And like the other games I will be deleting this one. Par contre, il y a des bugs dans le jeu: mauvaise traduction française par moment et donc, des fautes. Les personnes bug aussi parfois alors nous devons redémarrer le jeu. Et aussi, lorsque nous sommes dans des clans et que nous recevons des récompenses cela bug parfois et nous ne recevons pas celle qui a la base nous devions recevoir. Aussi, le jeu vient difficile (j’aime les défis, mais pas lorsque je suis coincé plusieurs jours). Lorsque je tombe sur un niveau avec des morceaux de gâteau la majorité du temps c’est très difficile. J’aime moins aussi le fait que lorsque nous avons un spécial (bouteille) ceci est aléatoire et impossible d’user de stratégie à ce moment puisque la bouteille peut être à l’horizontale ou la verticale. However, my issue came when the “updates” they were doing weren’t really updates at all, and I can’t even play the game anymore. Once you reach chapter 25 you’re basically done. There’s plenty of stuff to improve but they don’t have the rooms ready, which makes no sense to me. Then when they do an update promising “more chapters” it’s like half a chapter and then you’re done again. Also I’ve noticed with a lot of the new chapters they’re not even giving you options to choose from decor and stuff. It’s one option, take it or leave it, even if you don’t like it. ✓ So many faults!I just got this game played one matching game and it just has to many faults I went on the game and just went back to home screen so I thought I’ll try again played not even a level and it kept going to a black screen then went to home screen again so I looked at the reviews and everyone said it was a brilliant game so tried again and faulted so I deleted the app please may you update the game . ✓ Mostly a fun gameSo I am enjoying this most of the time. A few things need a bit of an adjustment for it to become one of my long time favs. - 1500 coins for an extra 5 turns is preposterous. - 2 stars to bake the chicken but only 1 to build a stand doesn’t make sense to me. 1 star to look at the box, then another star or 2 for Margaret to go find the key. Another star to open it, then 2 stars to open the secret compartment. That’s a lot of stars and I’m not even fixing anything..Version: 1.8.21
✓ Wish it would stop freezingLove this game but it is getting frustrating that it keeps freezing up when I finish a level, would be five stars if it didn’t freeze.Version: 1.21.24
✓ I’ve played betterIn all honesty, it’s possible that I’m a bit biased. I’m also playing another game similar to this with a young woman fixing up her aunt’s garden. Can’t get enough of it. And in comparison, this one is nowhere near as good. The power ups aren’t as powerful unless you combine them and even then they just aren’t very effective, making the levels much harder early on. The coins you need to buy furniture to upgrade your prestige, or whatever it is, is hard to come by. You either need to play a bunch of levels and just settle for the less nice free furniture until you can afford one single better upgrade or pay real money since there are no daily gifts or sign ins. I’m also not as into being some faceless all powerful being in the sky, but that may just be a personal preference. Characters are nice, furniture is well designed (when you can afford it), and story seems like it could be interesting, if a little cliched so far. Overall I’ve gotten to the point where I only play this if I’m bored out of my skull. Which is not often. I can’t imagine this will stay much longer on my phone..Version: 1.8.21

✓ DisappointedI have gone from sheer exhilaration when first playing the game to frustration. Coins too difficult to earn, too many required for five extra moves, and too many required to achieve a goal, ie. cooking, opening an object, etc. Levels now only achievable if you spend, so the fun has diminished 100%. NO bonus given for playing daily. You will lose a lot of players quickly. Since my last review, some things have changed, eg a coin bonus for playing daily, which in itself helps towards achieving goals. Now still enjoying the game, but I have a request...it would be terrific if there was the opportunity to change some previously chosen decorations. Sometimes when you don’t have coins, you chose the ‘free’ option, and/or find that other choices made later, don’t suit your initial choice in decor. Like some other games, I would love to be able to go back to some areas and change my original choices, eg. the back of the bar or furniture..Version: 1.14.15
