The scoring summary after a goal should remain during the full replay. The standings should also include stats on player goals and assists. We should be able to sell off or cash in the blueprints after all seating, arenas, and scoreboards have been fully maxed. The game should include a player draft to allow us to select position and level. There should be a choice to play a season with playoffs and a cup final..Version: 1.2.9

✓ Awful gameAwful game with undoubtedly fake reviews giving it the 4 star rating. Problems with gameplay: - Checking from behind mechanic is clearly broken; checking from any direction will give you about a 50/50 chance of getting a checking from behind penalty and the computer never gets the penalty called even when check obviously occurred - In game economy is broken; Contracts, medical kits and various other game functions are prohibitively expensive. If you’re only making $150 per game then there is no reason it should cost $30k to upgrade a player. - Contracts are too rare to be able to play the game. Each silver player costs 100 contracts to renew, each gold 175. Contracts are rare in reward packs and seasons are only a few games long. The only reason I can see them making these things so expensive is so that you spend money on micro transactions. - Seasons are only 7 games long and you’re unable to continue playing unless you’re able to renew the contracts, leaving you to either pay to play (real money) or be forced to watch ads in order to save up enough contracts to start the next season (ads are only watchable every 12 hours).Version: 1.2.8

You can score about 75% of the time if you enter the zone on the left side then move to right then shoot Now let me make a list of all the BAD stuff: 1. 7 games a season at most WHAT? 2. 45 overall AI can beat your team or make it close (aka they are just putting numbers on the overall) 3. The penalties are BROKEN. FIX THEM. I check someone then there’s a FiVe MiNuTe mIsCoNdUcT or a cHaRgInG pEnAtY 4. Making $100 a game and you have to spend $60,000 to convert a gold to a legend (AKA you have to save up and win 600 games) Also 3,000 for 300 contracts?! 1,000 for 3 med packs?! This game just asks for money 5. Your first game of the season is against the “worst” overall team, then every single other game is against a 65+ overall team 6. When there is my 1-4 of my players are straight ahead of the AI’s goalie he can get the pass out but when there is 0-1 AI players in front of my goalie I can’t get the pass out (which leads me to the next problem) 7. ✓ I can’t play because I have no contracts!!!Ok so the gameplay itself is not great, but it’s fun. There aren’t many hockey games out there so I’ll take what I can get. But this game has one MAJOR flaw I’ve run into. You have to spend contracts to be able to use your players. 75 contracts lets you use a bronze player for 2 seasons, and it gets more expensive from there. I can get players quick enough but contracts are pretty hard to get. Right now I have enough players for a pretty much full bronze squad with a few silvers and golds, but I can’t play any of them because I have 0 contracts. It’s really quite annoying. I would love to play, but I’m stuck because I only have the sucky starter players now and I lose every game in my current division with them. Please fix this issue!!.Version: 1.2.5
✓ Pay to winJust another example of a game that lets you start off doing well, but then you quickly find out if your not spending real money, you will never upgrade your players enough to matter, and you certainly would never be able to upgrade your arena. Maybe if you played all the time for a year or more you might earn enough in game points to upgrade one player. Just absolute bogus. It’s sad because the game play is pretty fun, this game would be great if they got rid of the whole stupid franchise element, let you pick a team and just play arcade style. I guess there are no good free games anymore. Gaming developers, your screwing things up. Take a lesson from the mid 80s, when Casio and other companies made garbage consoles. They almost ruined video gaming forever!! Luckily some quality came along to save the day. So get rid of these stuck in the mud games please. ✓ Ads and WaitingI normally don’t write reviews but because I feel like this game has huge potential I thought it to be appropriate to write one. This game has great game play. Though at times it can be buggy I truly enjoy playing this game. That is when I can play it. This game is made to attract the most revenue possible with minimal game play. This game baits the player into watching ads that do not give the player anything (most of the time) and making it extremely hard to obtain and keep players on the team and healthy while I usually wait about 5 hours a time to unlock cards that have a chance at giving me what I need to play. Players get hurt very easily and seasons end with 4-5 games making contracts very essential while extremely hard to obtain without watching ads that do not provide gifts or obtaining cards which may have what you need (if not you need to buy pucks which you do not get your money’s worth) while every game a player gets injured making health packs as essential if not more to be able to play your team. In conclusion this games gameplay is great but the game itself is boggled down by the huge need for in app purchases and long wait periods.Version: 1.2.3
✓ So many bugsIn the latest update (December-2019) I noticed some bugs weren’t fixed, but before that, what the hell are these shootouts, the concept here for shootouts is so bad, you just have to blindly pick a spot to save, This isn’t soccer. And also when there’s a power play for us, the other team just takes the puck and plays it, ik what a power kill looks like, this ain’t it, and now for the bugs, when there’s a face off and you press pause, it counts as “too early”. Also this game basically becomes a pay to play game, so hard keeping up with contracts and everything, i was hoping you guys would atleast make other methods to obtain more contracts/coins/cash. This game is just to make money rn. Only reason I stopped playing is because it’s basically pay to play after a couple of seasons. Edit: So I just finished a season and have to renew contracts for 1,400 and only have 30? Now I’m at the point where I give this game a 1 star. So money hungry Edit2: the game was so good for like 1 season, made 7,000 cash, and 30 medkits, within 2 games I had to use all my medkits to heal teammates PLUS another 1,000 coins, WITHIN 2 GAMES Edit3: I spend another 17 medkits within 2 games AGAIN Edit4: WORST customer service ever, I emailed them, they emailed 2 weeks back, and i replied and haven’t gotten an answer for over a month.Version: 1.2.9
✓ I’m somehow addicted to this game but...This game could be a million times better and the developers should really work on it because there really isn’t any competition for hockey games in the App Store! Someone could easily come along and make something better. It’d be cool to see a deke button. Would also be nice to be able to hit pass, then hold the shoot button for a one-timer slap shot. I find that I can’t play too often because packs take so long to open. I don’t wanna keep winning games and having to discard packs so I play a lot less because of it. There should be a pickup game mode so it’s not always championship games, maybe there you can earn training point and such, to train your players up. ✓ Game is overrated and full of nasty surprisesGame is buggy. I barely touch a button and one 5 mins major penalty after the other. How about the wrong team celebrating a wins? Somehow my team is 57 and playing against a 91 team in a tournament. Ooook sure. I had the same exact player three times on my team... ooof. When a team is a lot stronger (major league), their players will poke the puck and cross check you at will without any consequences.... any shot goes in against your team. Micro transactions to win is too evident and it takes the pleasure away quickly. A few hours of play time and I have nowhere to go if I don’t buy their packs. No thanks! I’m out....Version: 1.5.2

✓ SolidIt’s a fun game with realistic motions, but something has to be done about the penalties and the shootouts. It’s next to impossible to have fun with the game and never commit penalties. Too many checks are charges. Just let the game play. The shootouts are a different story. It’s too hard and unrealistic. To try and guess between 8 different spots on where the CPU could be shooting is next to impossible, and then having the offensive be normal, which it’s already hard to score one on one, it’s all too hard to win. I’ve played in 6 different overtime shootouts and I haven’t come close to winning once. Changing it would make the game a lot better..Version: 1.2.9

✓ GarbageThis game is absolute garbage, it’s hard to decide where to begin. The beginning stages are ridiculously easy, but once you hit Major, the computer completely stomps you. The controls are terrible. You cannot switch players on your own, the system chooses which character you’re going to control at seemingly random times. For instance, I’m chasing a loose puck into the opponents end, and right before I get to it, I get changed to a player behind the blue line! This give the opponent time to get the puck, EVEN THOUGH THE CHARACTER I WAS PREVIOUSLY CONTROLLING IS JUST A FOOT AWAY FROM THE PUCK! Also, the computer can check you (poke or body) AND collect the puck. If you check the computer, you better hope the system has another of your players right there to scoop up the puck, ‘cause you aren’t getting it. The pass to one time was crisp in the first two stages, but again, once you hit Major, the game doesn’t recognize your shot input after the pass. There is a hesitation that was nonexistent in the earlier stages of the game, allowing the computer time to steal the puck with a poke check. Don’t waste your time on this game, or the other hockey game by this developer..Version: 1.2.9
✓ A bit frustratingAs a loyal hockey fan and player for the past two decades, I can say that whoever made this game needs to study the rules of hockey. You shouldn’t be given a checking from behind penalty when you barely hit someone from behind at CENTER ICE. It’s also not charging when you skate to hit a player. The joy stick on the side of the screen that you use to skate is extremely unresponsive at times, players skate right past the puck as it slowly slides through the neutral zone, giving the opposing team easy outlets to slide a 5 mph pass to anybody across the ice. I get about 4-5 penalties a game by playing the game of hockey the way it’s supposed to be played, by making clean contact with opposing players. Is this soccer or hockey??.Version: 1.2.2

✓ So much potentialThis game could be great but unfortunately they obviously don’t care about the consumer. In order to have a good team you need to spend money out of pocket which I’m not about to do for a game that obviously can’t even get the rules of hockey right. Always getting 5 minute penalties for clean hits while the cpu does the same thing they get nothing. Constantly getting icing calls for clearing the puck on the penalty kill . The controls are always lagging. Unfortunately the only way to have a fair game would be to have it be cpu vs cpu. This game could be great if they would make it better and give it better controls and honest playing abilities for both teams. I’m deleting this game hopefully one day they’ll fix it!!.Version: 1.2.8

✓ Pretty great gameVery fun game, lots of players and pretty indepth. You can build your lineups and train your players to make them better to improve you team. The gameplay is pretty fun, really smooth and easy. But a lot of the time your player just runs over the puck and doesn’t get it for some reason and it gets pretty annoying. Also sometimes clicking pass doesn’t work especially when there’s another player in front. Sometimes players will randomly pass directly in front when there’s a team mate right next to him aswell. Packs are fun but they take so long and there’s no way to shorten them without paying and in a game where you rely on getting new players to improve your squad you can’t keep playing after 3 games. Also player packs should be more common, especially ones after bronze. Let us buy packs with cas aswell..Version: 1.2.3
✓ It’s okThe game itself is very meh. To start the penalties almost never make sense. Also the movement pad moves. So it is entirely possible to be moving then not if you are holding forward. Which gets really annoying. Also it is hard to get a good team early on because you run out of contracts very fast. If contracts did not exist or they were easier to come by the game would be a lot better. Also if there was a way to lock the movement pad in place so having your finger on one spot of the screen goes a certain direction instead of anywhere. That would make the game a lot more playable at least for me I might be okay with the contracts where they are if I had better control over the players. ✓ Good lord... this turned so badAs I write this I’m still in day one of playing the game. First half of the way a blast tons of fun and a good time...until I got to the major tournament. WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED. The game literally becomes impossible and the only way to win any game is too (hopefully) get one goal and just shoot the puck across the ice anytime it’s in your zone. THE CHARGING PENTALLY HAS TO GO OR BE COMPLETELY RE DONE. I mean Cmon, how much is the enemy team (computer) paying the refs?? HUH?? Also the penalty system and pretty much the game itself gets so unfair. Since I got to major tournament I’ve been... ahem... charged 206 times, tripped 142 times, checked from behind 228 times and the list goes on. ALSO HOW DOES IT MAKE ANYSENSE THAT THE ENEMIES DEFENSE IS INSTANT WHILE YOU HAVE TO TRY YOUR D*CK OFF TO EVEN HAVE A CHANCE AT GETTING THE PUCK. FIX YOUR GAME. IT COULD BE AMAZING.....Version: 1.5.2
✓ Terrible.Every year for what feels like the last 10 years this developer releases the same terrible hockey game with one new gimmick- big heads, outdoor rinks, National teams, and in this year’s case a shockingly stripped-down basic franchise mode that tries and fails to mimic EA NHL’s Hockey Ultimate Team. The game is and has always been terrible- skating still doesn’t feel like skating (there’s no stopping and starting, crossovers, cutting, etc) and players just casually float around, you could replace the ice with water and the players with nearly broken jet skis and this game would feel exactly the same. Shooting is terrible, trying to aim far side and you will always take a backhand clapper- even from the point. There are no dekes or dangles. There’s no hustle, even while “sprinting” your player looks like he’s at a casual open skate and could easily have a coffee in his hand. AI is garbage across the board and doesn’t react like a game is going on, constantly missing pucks in their own skates, one time passes sail by them as they cross check the air like an escaped asylum patient. It’s time for everyone to say enough is enough, and give these developers one star ratings for their consistent and complete lack of effort so maybe they are inspired to make a hockey game that even slightly resembles the game of hockey..Version: 1.2.2
✓ Needs ImprovementsThis is a fun game to play and kill time, and the idea behind it is a wonderful one. Yet, I still find myself annoyed that I can’t seem to move forward in the game without being forced to watch ads and spend money. ✓ Overall entertainment is funI play ice hockey in a girls and boys league (girl) and I LOVE the sport so I obviously check the app store a lot for some fun hockey games. I have tested, played and compared a lot of these hockey games on the app store and I LOVE some of them and other are well alright. I would say this is one of the alright category games. Overall it’s pretty fun but there are a few things I wish were updated. First of all, I wish that you had to be drafted to be able to be on a team me personally I think that would be awesome so that you didn’t get to pick. I wish you didn’t get to pick so that you don’t accidentally choose a lower league team then the NHL. I didn’t know that you could choose any team so being a Floridian I went with our local ECHL hockey team (Florida Everblades) thinking that maybe I would be drafted to an NHL team. Nope that most definitely didn’t happen, another thing is that some people say they love the jokes that the announcers make but I can’t hear anything in this game. It’s not just this game in football games or other hockey games I can hear ever word loud and clear but loud and clear isn’t the case here. ✓ Gameplay does not feel fairThere’s so much good to say about this game, but I’ll keep it brief: you will never feel good about a game you lose. Great games give you losses you can learn from. Not this one. Once the engine decides you’re going to lose, it’s over. You’ll get called for a 5-minute penalty after taking a breakaway shot. You’ll hit the post five times in a game you end up losing 1-0 in OT. You’ll hit the crossbar on a shot that ricochets so high in the air it lands in your own zone. Your forwards will stop crossing the blue line. Your defensemen will stand at center ice until the puck passes them. You’ll send out a perfect breakout pass to a player who will be unresponsive to controls until the puck is taken away. Your goalie will have a save percentage under 25% because every slap shot is an automatic goal. Then you’ll go to the roster after the game to find out the gold guy you just paid to upgrade is out 6 games (into the next season) and it’ll cost all of your meds to get him back before his contract is up. This is probably the best hockey game available on here, but it will make you hate hockey..Version: 1.2.9

✓ Good, but many problems.There are good and bad points to this game. Firstly, the pros. Well, there aren’t many. Mainly just the fact that you have full customization of your Franchise. And now the cons. There are a lot. First. The poorly programmed computer decides the outcome of every game. When it decides you will win, you can easily go CRAZY GO STUPID hahshdhdhdbdhsnsh. My record win was a 12-0 beating. When it decides you will lose, even the most skilled player will fall, inevitably. That brings me to the next big problem, which is the god awful shootout system. It is rigged and impossible to win. It was really poorly made and I’m not sure what the game devs were thinking. The final big problem is the stupid penalty system. Penalties are usually easy to kill with any skill, but it’s still super annoying. Checking from behind and charging happen about 20 times each every game, and it’s really bad. Once there, you will lose every face off, have every pass intercepted, have every shot blocked, lose the puck every time an opponent comes near you, lose the ability to check the opposing team at all, lose the ability to outrace an opponent, get random penalties, and find that the only way to score is to crash the net when everything goes right and hope it goes in. Have players with 80 and 90 ratings who seemingly lose all their abilities. I understand that levels should get harder over time, but it goes from enjoyable to unplayable in a flash. ✓ AlrightSo when you play this game start it was pretty bad people. But the game is kind of fun because you can make great shots and all that good stuff. But the AIs or like not even close to real life because they call checking from the back like who would even do that. And also the AIs I like not even real players what I mean by that is they don’t act like the real players what I mean by that is like when I pass it they always are almost always like I just let it pass by or when I clear it and I got out of the ringer when I shoot miss it goes out of the rink when I’m talking about is the puck. ✓ Fun game, but…I love this game a lot and I used to play it all the time, but after a while I grew bored of it. I reccomend it to other people who want to play it, but only people who enjoy lots of game pauses and lags sometimes. To be honest, I like the creators trying to make the playing time realistic by adding lots of penalties, pulling the goalie, and championships. But, it’d be a little more fun if there was less penalties and more playing time. It really slows down the game and for me, I like no lags, no pausing, and no lags. The card packs were a really creative idea and I don’t think there is anything wrong with them. Although I think that the wait is too long for card packs. ✓ Fun while it lastedWhen I first downloaded this game, it was enjoyable to play. I had several consecutive seasons where I was the champion. But now, it’s not the same. First off, the AI is overpowered. They literally steal the puck from you 99% of the time. This makes it hard to get in a good scoring position and have good possession. Scoring has gotten harder as well. It’s almost impossible to fake out the goalie as there are no dekes, so you have to move side to side hoping there will be an opening. Even if you do aim well, shot power seems to be hard to pull off as well. I believe most of the shots I’ve done did not lift the puck that much. Also, there is a huge lack in gameplay variety. The only thing you can do is a season and that’s it. It’s hard to be hooked on a game if you can only do one thing. Oh and also, the penalties are an issue. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been penalized for charging and back checking. The power plays are very short too. This game is such a sorry excuse for a hockey game. It also feels like pay-to-win. Everything that would make a player quit bundled up into one mobile game..Version: 1.2.8

✓ The CPUs, PenaltiesIt’s a fun game, you can shuffle the player lines, you can upgrade them to the next tier, but they won’t get better on their own, you have to upgrade them. At first, the opposition will make mistakes over and over again. But in the late game, your team will be the one making mistakes. But it’s not on you, it’s the computers controlling the rest of the team. The computers never defend when needed, they stand flatfooted at the far blue line. Whenever we need to be offensive, they are hanging back at your GOAL line. The computers need to be fixed. Penalties get called way too often on your own team. They get called for charging, and checking from behind. The checking from behind was programmed very simple, but half the time the computer just turns around right when you’re about to hit them. The charging penalties are a lot harder to program, but they appear almost every time you check in front of the other teams net trying to get on the rebound. It sometimes seems like a just take a shot, and the goalie runs out of the other teams net and immediately runs off for a delayed penalty. Other moments where charging penalties happen is when you run up and hit someone, which is charging, and when you are skating back into your zone when the other team has the puck, and you give them a good clean check. These are the problems with penalties..Version: 1.2.8
✓ Fun in the startAlright I’d admit this game was fun for a while until your in major level on the last match, when u see these guys it’s just like how am I supposed to keep up. The ai is garbage, 10 percent chance of you scoring. So basically you beat a couple of teams and it gets harder right but the last team you go against in the major level is just way to hard for the starter player, and trust me I’m really good but this team is just so fast I even upgraded my defense and forward and they still can’t keep up. So my final review a 3 out of 5, a three because it was pretty fun in the start. All I gotta say to the developer is please low the difficulty rating in the major and premier league level it’s just downright impossible unless your like god. Also before I go I don’t even wanna think of the all-star league level..Version: 1.2.9
✓ Really want to like it...but..First of all, this is better than any other ice hockey game on iOS. But, there are issues. 1) I literally get at least two 10 minute majors every game. In 20 games I’ve probably gotten fifty of them. I’ve probably gotten 100 penalties in 50 games and the cpu has gotten 1. 2) on defense the game switches between active players for no reason and switches to players farther away from the puck. It shouldn’t switch while player I am unless I click to do it. 3) it takes a long time to unlock your 4 decks of cards, a really long time, but to do the quests you have to play a lot, which means you have to just throw all the decks you win away (you will run out of gold quickly) and your team will run out of contracts that you can’t afford quickly and you’ll go from your decent team back to your starting weak team pretty quickly unless you spend cash on contracts or wait days trying to unlock them. 4) My goalie has scored on me more than the cpu has. Really interesting game, a but over complicated, a great start, but right now the bugs are pretty aggravating after a few games. Looks like the dev is still putting out updates, so fingers crossed..Version: 1.2.2
