✓ Disappointing 😞I played the old version of hockey all stars every day for months, and I loved it! You didn’t need energy to do anything except for online battles. In the new game, you you need energy for EVERYTHING, and it ruins the game. Plus, body checks don’t work, and fights happen for no reason. I ended up just going back to the old one, this game is so bad..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Annoying AIThere are some nice aspects to this game, but the AI leaves you slapping your forehead. From poor auto-selection of players as the puck moves, players going against the controller movements, to knowing that the opposition is going to score as you get a familiar feeling that the AI has deemed so. Everything nice is ruined by many moments of coarse AI. I see why players don’t hang around very long..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Disappointing…The gameplay feels very similar to previous games, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but they added a few features that quickly get annoying. 1) The option to fight pops up much too often (it was happening 70%+ of my stoppages). When this happens you have to wait for a timer to go away if you don’t want to fight. No way to skip this. 2) Energy in game is very limited and if you want to watch an ad to regain energy to play a game, well then you have to watch THREE separate ads to actually get enough to play a single game. I understand the dev wants to make money and have no problems with the occasional ad, but this is a bit much at this point. 3) No improvements at all to the AI or penalty calling. You’ll randomly have all your teammates end up way up ice and give up a 2-0 with no real way to stop this from happening. Can’t change players effectively on defense without pressing the hit button, which just pulls them out of position often and is useless if you are behind an opponent. —-The issue with hitting while behind an opponent relates directly to the issue of penalties. Much of the time if you are behind your opponent (even if you aren’t against the boards) you will get a 5 minute major for boarding. So long read made short- the game feels like a hastily updated version of 23 with the goal of serving as a cash grab rather than an attempt at a high quality hockey game that we are lacking on mobile..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Great game but developers have to learn more about hockeyThe developers just have to study hockey a bit more and this game would be amazing. It’s super fun now but there are some issues: I’ve been playing for a while and it’s way to easy. I have only been scored on 2 times in 21 games. Maybe upgrade the goalies a bit, and fix their pads they are on backwards drives me crazy as a goalie. Pucks bounce over the glass way to easily, and if you shoot a puck at the opposing goalie and it bounces off the goalie over the boards that’s actually a face off in the offensive zone not outside. Like I said just learn a bit more about hockey and this game would be deadly 😎.Version: 1.1.0
✓ Game is alrightAnother game desperate to take your money. It has a dumb card system like clash royale where you wait hours to open a pack you earned already. You can play a 1 minute long game which is ridiculously easy then you have to wait an hour to play another. Not sure why you cant control your players on defense... Another repetitive and boring hockey game. I guess its hard to say its boring since you can only play 5 minutes at a time. Unless you want to buy "energy" to play a match..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Good but not perfectIt’s our good game. I just have two big problems with it. One the graphics I just can’t figure out what it is. I played the other game and It was a lot better graphics but this one I just can’t stand. and also the face off I don’t like how the rest is is like back facing towards me like it’s annoying sometimes cause I can barely see it drop in the way that it’s completely zoomed out,Oh my God. ✓ Garbage controls & gameplay, ad-hungry terrible gameWhile in a game, my players constantly have problems moving fluently and just become static. When there is a clear pass available, often times, the player doesn’t even pass (despite the passing line showing up) and they just shoot it instead, causing icing. Speaking of icing, clearly this company has not done research about this game because apparently, shooting a puck into a goalie and then the puck deflecting off the goalie (while still crossing the line) counts as icing. In addition, apparently just poking at a player while they have the puck counts as tripping, even if you don’t trip the player. Makes logical sense. The fighting system is garbage too. It’s a waste of time and does barely anything. And it occurs like 2 times a game which once again is not realistic. I would get into the energy system but I feel like I’ve talked about enough. Thank you for wasting 5 hours of my life that I could’ve instead used to work at McDonalds to make some money to pay for college tuition. And thank you also for showing me how it’s possible to make such a horrendous hockey game that isn’t realistic and that makes me want to jump out of a 52-story apartment window every time I get an offsides call because either my forwards don’t bother coming back or my d-man decide to chill at the d-zone..Version: 1.1.0

✓ Best hockey game on Ios butHave several bugs the latest one goalie plays the puck way to much making for easy goals. many times you pass the puck back to your goalie and he misses it and a goal is scored. way to many penalties especially checking from behind. some times you hit the puck and it spins around the rink several times because its moving so fast. im in pro mode and can score from the redline, not even HS can anyone do that and so many pucks flying out of bounds, never seen a puck hit a pipe and fly over the glass into the stands.Version: 1.0.4
✓ Greatly improved but lots of room for moreThe upgrades this game has received are insanely impressive and it’s easily 10 times or more fun than it used to be. Every new feature added is good. The gameplay could still be a a lot smoother and more realistic. And energy to play franchise games needs to go ASAP. ✓ Good game but needs improvementsI loved the game, but still needs a few upgrades! Let’s start with the “Energy”, we all know you guys needs money to develop these awesome games but having to watch ads every match so we can play it’s a bit annoying. I would love if you guys implemented controller compatibly, that would make the game more playable for people who can’t afford NHL. Me personally I don’t like using my screen as a controller, I feel I have a few blind spots while using the controllers on the screen. Besides these 2 problems, I really enjoy this game! ✓ TrashTrash game - If you play on any other setting but pro the game is way too easy. But on Pro the game automatically just allows nonsense to occur over and over in the final seconds of the game. ✓ Horrible compared to previous versionsWhile the graphics are nice, compared the the previous everything else is horrible. The game plays slower then the previous one, with controls that feel clunky and untested. Often you will have a break away and your character will randomly stop and spin move, leading to the puck being turned over. Slow gameplay makes games feel like a chore, which was not a problem in previous games. The interface is slow and freezes randomly. The goal counter for each player does not add correctly. Regularly players who score more than 1 goal in a game will only be credited in stats as getting one goal in that game. The energy system, which only expiated one the ranked mode in the previous game, is now in every mode. You can only play 3 games that last about 2-3 minutes every hour and a half, or you have to pay money or watch 3 separate ads. Overall, while the previous game felt polished and fun, this one feels like a cash grab that does only the bare minimum..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Do Not Download This Game!The way this game works is that it will seem like an ok game, although very pay to win. Then, once you’ve made significant progress, there will be a pop-up that prevents you from playing. It will give you give you an ultimatum: Allow them to collect, track, and sell all your data to countless different people/companies; or the other option is to delete the app entirely. ✓ Energy system ruins the gameReally like the gameplay of the game so far. Really satisfying to score and pretty competitive opponents. It’s great. But the energy/battery system absolutely ruins the game. You can only play three games at a time, and you have to watch ads to get another game, but then eventually you can’t watch any more ads. So your game becomes locked down until an hour goes by waiting for more energy. And then you only get one more game. It’s a terrible and agonizing system that ruins the flow of the experience. ✓ Please fix this game but overall it’s ok1. The opponent can grab the puck from my goalie on a breakaway and score 2. Fights in all star league are impossible to win 3. Even though your goalie is better than other team the goalie AI is super dumb on only your team messes up everything 😆 4. Other teams that can even be worse are overpowered in all star level, can never poke check or body check however they lay the largest hits on you and steal the puck from you right when you get in front of them 5. ✓ Rigged/gameplayThe games OKAY. They creators clearly rig the gameplay and rewards and it couldn’t be anymore obvious. When I have two injured players and it’ll take exactly 8 health packs and I just happen to get that in a reward pack it makes it abundantly clear. Also, the game auto switches player for you and that greatly affect game play. I’ve been scored on many times because it has me playing as a player that can do nothing to influence the play. Passing in the game is also is kinda ridiculous. All in all, if you want to have almost no influence actual outcomes of the game and want to play a game where the creators clearly rig your outcomes this is the game for you..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Seriously?Couldn’t show anymore that they rig the games. I shoot the puck about 30 times a game and score 2 goals if I’m lucky. MY defense never sits back and my goalie although high rated gets scored on every shot the cpu takes. The shot total could be 30-2 and I have 2 goals and so does the cpu. I also lag every time I’m on offense and my defense misses every hit while the cpu can swipe the puck away from me without even trying. The games are very fast so unless you are going to watch ad and after ad until you run out of those your option is to the vip pass, which is only a week for $7.00+?! But then it starts to glitch so you get an icing call after the puck circles the ice five times without stopping or leaving the boards. Then an opposing player getting three consecutive open shots that finally result in a goal? Horribly unrealistic. Any goalie not to mention a “trained” goalie is going to stop that puck after the second if at all possible. This game is just ridiculous. The raised edge should be on the outside. Some suggestions: please allow us to customize every aspect of the players like their nationality, the skin tone, the hairstyle, etc. Even if it requires in game items like the position change token, it’s at least better than nothing and will greatly improve the immersion of the game. Please improve the physics of the puck. It bounces off like a tennis ball into the stands way too often. One time I scored a goal by having the player jamming the puck under and into the net from Behind the net. Unacceptable. Last but not least, please improve the goalie AI. In a less than a full second. No time to react, no time to try to defend. The deking button is pointless and the poke check might as well be too.
