✓ Love it but it’s pretty badClub (career) mood is weak; can’t create players, can’t view other teams and their players, can’t trade players, can’t get free agents but only through packs which take forever to open unless you pay. I understand you want folks to pay. Cost money to change a player’s name. The controls aren’t great for juking and the kicking isn’t good either; they should be able to squib kick or dribble the ball down the field. Wish we could run plays for offense and change defenses. There should be yellow and red cards. Not everything such as the roll and re-roll for training is explained. Love the game but it’s clearly at its very beginning stages. It will require dedicated fans to stick with it as it improves over the years and maybe some too players will invest in growing the game especially in the American market..Version: 1.1.2
✓ DreadfulGame has terrible bugs which makes it unplayable, often your own players will pass it directly behind themselves and then your players will run away from the ball causing the other team to pick it up and score. You’ll be running down the wing, get tackled and slide 15m Into touch. The camera angle for wide goal kicking is atrocious you can barely ever kick any goals from out wide because of it. Players purposely dropping the ball after the 80 minutes is ridiculous. Teams who weigh 100kg less pushing your team back in a scrum when you’re green timing every push. Playing a team with a worse rating but every time you tackle them they instantly win the ruck and you physically cannot get the ball even after making dominant tackles unless they throw intercepts or forward passes. AI teams kicking off with 15kmph winds behind them and landing it on the 10m and regaining possession. Opposing team scrum half running through your entire team to score even if the other team has a worse rating. Like it’s basic stuff that makes the game frustrating and unplayable. And I forgot to mention the throwing the ball deliberately into touch penalty is ridiculous, sometimes you pass to a guy 2m away from you, it goes literally through them into touch and you get penalised for throwing it into touch on purpose. It’s literally just the most basic stuff that makes this game so horrible and un enjoyable to play. Unless it’s fixed I wouldn’t recommend playing it..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Not enough player spaceNeed more player space we can keep our players in, extend our player capacity to 45 but once we start paying for pack capacity should lift depending on what packs we pay for have lost out on 20 gold players to low player space witch needs to be fixed, and keeping history of our previous players would be great as any other club would do.Version: 1.1.3
✓ Fun game mostly but swipe controls need adjustingAs someone else pointed out, this is a fun game and it really makes you work for every point. Too many times I’ve tried passing the ball and instead the player kicks the ball 10 yards in front of him. If I wanted a kick I would have used the kick button. What I’m saying is that it takes like 6 months of playing before you can actually get a player you know on real life into your team, or you can spend a whopping 10 bucks on a mobile game. ✓ Okay game with issuesOkay game, fun to start but so frustrating. Players randomly kicking the ball without pressing kick. This is normally only when you have an easy pass to run in to score. Next up is the incredible sudden inability of any player to catch the ball after the clock turns yellow. It’s almost funny not seeing a single handling error all game the second the clock gets to 80 minutes my best player knocks on a simple pass. The way the game drains the battery means you can only play the 3 games at a time anyway do no issues there. Got to level 17 and could take no more trying to get promoted to elite level it felt never ending..Version: 1.1.2
✓ Spoiled a good gameThere are a lot of bugs which spoil a good game. Just as FT/HT hit if your in possession you knock on even if it is a simple pass. Winning the ball back against a slightly higher rated team or one the same seems impossible. You lose rucks frequently against slightly higher or the same rated teams. A situation where you are giving a knock on/forward pass isn’t called when it is clear for the opposition. The opposition tackles constantly dislodge the ball from your player handing over possession. Generally a good game but is let down..Version: 1.3.0
✓ Micro-transactions and ads, occasionally interrupted by rugbyLittered with ads and built around micro-transactions. For example, several players will be injured per game with the only way to heal them being linked to in game purchases. The only way to improve your team is through packs that take hours to open for a player that isn’t any good, and the only way to speed this up is micro-transactions. There are many more examples. For all this though the gameplay isn’t that good - can they not invest some of the money they so cynically try to prise from their players into an AI that doesn’t kick the ball out to end the game even within one score of winning? No, they wouldn’t want to, because the only way to to play more than 4 games without waiting hours for another game is - you guessed it - micro-transactions. Money grubbing game, that only remains relevant because nobody else is trying to make a rugby game. Not worth the time you’ll spend waiting to get through the ads that pop up every few minutes..Version: 1.1.3

✓ Game has imbalance issues.Game is the best rugby game available, but needs to work on some gameplay issues relating to the breakdown/tackle. My pack weighs more than the opposition but their props run through 3-4 people without consequence. Additionally, if you are playing a better team, you lose every breakdown despite having more people there. Lastly, the game lets the AI players get away with forward passes Bc they are rated better. Players are constantly injured (one game seven players were injured after it and only seventeen percent possession). Your players are unable to tackle their opponents, your players will be turned over half the time and the passing is of a standard that I’ve witnessed at my boys mini rugby whilst the opposition pass the ball around like the Harlem Globetrotters.Version: 1.2.0

✓ Good concept but some bugs make the game almost unplayableIt’s a good game with some cool ideas re players etc but there are a few bugs I’d like to see fixed. 1. Players get tackled and end up moving backwards while on the floor - if the player goes out you lose the ball and can’t do anything about it. 2. England is way too strong, their players literally run through half the team if you play anyone but SAF, FRA or NZ against them. 3. Players are terrible on defence and sometimes run right past the ball carrier or create holes for opposition to run through with no easy way to switch player. 4. The swipe down for line outs doesn’t always work. 5. It’s really hard to kick the ball as you often get tackled before you can pull it of. 6. ✓ App performance issuesI’m a big fan of RN19 and play regularly and I think the gameplay improvements in RN22 are great (womens game, scrums, etc) and as far as the series goes - it’s the best rugby sim out there on iOS and to be on freemium is so great! Now the reason for docking 2 stars -matches and menus have caused a bit of lag comparing to performance of RN19 (iPhone XR running latest iOS) and it stunts the game play a bit - I have reverted to RN19 for smooth matches. I’m also not a fan of how rucks have changed, I can’t get a last minute pass out after a tackle and then sometimes the ruck takes a while to go through its process and I sit watching the bar changing colour for a bit..Version: 1.1.0
✓ Good concept, average gameplayNot really realistic gameplay, short matches mean it’s more about trying to score as fast a possible rather than trying to build up momentum or use set piece moves to score tries. So no real tactics or strategy required. Defence controls are useless and stealing a line out doesn’t seem to work. I’m upto level 10 and the CPU is always too easy and I end up with 75-80% possession..Version: 1.1.4
✓ Quite GoodHaving played RN 16 for years, thought I would try this game. Overall it’s enjoyable. But the fact you have to wait for your team’s energy to restore (sometimes for 50+ min), or watch multiple adverts to unlock things, is ridiculous. I’d just ask people to make a one-off payment for the game - the adverts and time waiting is so terrible. At least with RN 16, as simple as it is, you can play whenever you want - you can’t with this game, unless you want to constantly pay money. Also, trying to get any form of possession when you’re defending against a stronger team is almost impossible; four of your players in a ruck compared to one of theirs still isn’t good enough. As soon as HT of FT is reached, your players just happen to knock-on the ball, despite the fact that you could’ve scored easily; when you swipe to take a shot at the posts, the wind changes direction blowing the ball off course. ✓ Fun but still too easyThe game is fun and similar to rugby 18. There are some major flaws. To start the game is far too easy. I don’t think I’ve ever conceded any points. I win most games 30+ to 0. Please make it so much harder or introduce difficulty settings with the current set up as beginner. Secondly, the games are too short, please give us options here to match the fact it will be more difficult to score. Thirdly, allow people to pay £2.99 or even £4.99 for the game and have no ‘energy’ meaning you can play unlimited games. Lastly, get rid of the silly timers for opening packs. All it does it make me not play the game for 9 hours until my pack can be opened. There’s so much market for a decent rugby game, both on mobile and consoles but rugby 08 was the last decent one!.Version: 1.1.1

✓ Lots of fun, but a total messThis is the best rugby mobile game out there. No denying that, which is why it makes me sad there’s so many issues. Sometimes it feels like the devs don’t even want us to play the game. - players ON THE BENCH get injured after games - four “free rewards” notis on the front page but rewards literally nowhere to be found. It just takes me to the shop which is VERY not free. Am I doing something wrong? - it feels like the best way to get actually good players once you’re in higher leagues is to play six nations or world cup, because I’m not getting any player upgrades in packs, but after I spend like a day grinding out those games it’s just some 43 scrumhalf that I already have 4 of. - world cup is mathematically impossible to win as some teams. I understand that germany would have a bad time taking on south africa, but there is literally nothing I can do to stop the ball getting turned over every time I touch it - the only viable strategy in this game is get really fast wings and just run hands down the line hoping your horrible front lines don’t knock it on, which they will 100% do if the clock is at full or half - pack weight is arbitrary - the weird perks that some players have have no effect on the game… like why would my loose head prop have the perk that makes him a really good kicker but still have a rank of 41 Sorry for rambling here. I just want the game to be as good as it can be because I miss the pitch. Can’t wait for an update on this or the arrival of rn23.Version: 1.1.4
✓ Glitches and crashesThe game is the most laggy and non smoothly running game I’ve ever played, it consistently crashes in any world cup or other international games which is frustrating and restricts you to only the club game. These need to be fixed. Another complaint I have is the format of the game I preferred the RN18 format where you played with career and any team you want but that game had a glitch not allowing you to use swipe controls. ✓ Two issuesThe players take too long to pass. If I touch pass they should instantly pass unless I charge the pass. The delay forces the game to become clunky and boring. Fix the ad rewards. If I watch an ad with the promise of a reward I expect that reward without fail. I have watched 20 ads and got 3 rewards which is either complete incompetence or active scamming. However it’s glitchy and for some reason every now and again one of your players will pass send a pass backawards to nobody . If a player gets tackled before it goes to a maul he can miraculously move backwards , sideways , out of play when there is no opponent anywhere near him . It’s driving me nuts and ruining the entertainment value. Upgrading players depends on getting certain packs. If you don’t get them your team ends up sucking. RN19 was way better.Version: 1.1.3

Like how are the Barrett Brothers one brown with a beard and the other white, how is Richie Mounga a Scrummie when he’s a fly half in real life, why is kahzikstan in the rugby World Cup? The game can be better if it’s more realistic. I miss how dominate the teams were. Absolute joke that when you come up against someone good they string 20 passes together and you can’t win a ruck - wind changes when it’s your turn to kick, you have no chance of a 50/22 yet they land one, you always seem to knock on when time is up yet they can play on for two minutes! Drop kicks are impossible, players get injured for no reason, you throw the ball backwards to no one when there is a pass on, you forward pass every time you get tackled, just so many anomalies ie 80 minutes the other team always hoof it out. ✓ Don’t getThis game makes you wait 50 minutes to play a 2 minute game that isn’t even good and it wants you to lose, I was playing and put about 5 forwards into my ruck and then one of the opposing teams forwards wins a ruck and when I had a chance to win the game with a try my player decided to run in towards the posts and then got tackled and got put out of bounds, I ended up losing and half the time you miss tackles, my tight head gets ran over by a tiny scrum half a million times. ✓ Good, but gets pretty frustrating at timesIt’s a fun game, but after a while it gets annoying. For example, the game will REALLY want to end the match right at 80 minutes. The moment I pass the ball, they’ll drop it and then boom, knock on. Another thing is that if the team your facing is a lot better than yours, it will be almost impossible to tackle and get the ball from the ruck. Even if you the player have the ball, the moment they tackle you they’ll get the ball. One more thing, is that it seems that every time I’m about to kick a conversion, the wind speed will be like 15 mph, and then the moment the opponent is about the kick a conversion, it’s right down to 0 mph. There’s also 0 other ways to get players except getting packs and waiting for hours. It would be cool if there was a transfer system or anything else. RN 19 seems better than this..Version: 1.3.0

Pay structure - I’d rather pay upfront for the game then get on with it without adds and having to wait to play etc. 2. When you’re defending on try line vision can be impaired by what I assume is the stadium. 3. Almost instant knock ons when the final whistle goes. 4. Ability to set your back line more defensive or attacking . 5. Opposition auto kicking out even if they’re in your 22. 6. Ads sometimes crashing the option to open additional card, 7. Losing turnover when you have more more players at the breakdown first, 8. Opposition bouncing through 4/5 players, sometimes 2/3 ar once 9. When chasing a kick off once the openent catches it your chasing player can sometimes suddenly change direction and not make the tackle. 10. ✓ An upgrade, but equally frustrating.It’s a lot harder to destroy teams, but the same major issues have just got worse. When you get to elite level and play some teams, it’s impossible to tackle no matter how many tackles you put in. Players will bulldoze through. Very frustrating. As is the fact that opposition players pass the ball between them at an impossibly face pace no matter how many tackles you put in. The worst flaw in this game is the delay in passing. Half the time passing won’t even work you have to push the pass button at least twice. When you win a turn over and want to clear the ball, by the time you’ve directed your kick, you can tackled and lose the ball. As you get to the elite level, good luck trying to ground the ball when you’ve crossed the oppositions try line, you get held up and forced out of play. It’s ridiculous. It’s horrendously flawed and super frustrating to play at times. If you want a fun game to play, play RN19. Developers need to sort the above nonsense out. ✓ Unplayable at higher levelsFun enough but once you get to higher levels the increased difficulty is simply that your players can barely run when they are carrying the ball - they are painfully slow: this gameplay “feature” carries across from the club game to the internationals for some reason, which makes me think it is more big than gameplay. Winning games at high levels becomes a bit of a joyless grind. If difficulty was shown by increased speed of opposition rather than decreased speed of the man in possession it would be far preferable..Version: 1.3.0
✓ Very glitchy, but good conceptHaving a really frustrated time with the glitches and the crashes. I can’t play a single game without something going wrong, once I had a glitch that meant the opposition dragged the ball for a try after being tackled (on the ground) from 50m away and me not being able to stop it. If it weren’t for the bugs it would be an amazing game. Also clear the people who made this game haven’t played rugby before, just the subtle ness of incorrect positions to players EG: having Sevu Reece as a fly half and Richie Mo’unga as scrum half 😂 Hope the game can be improved.Version: 1.1.4
✓ Great game, needs updatingThere’s so much more that can be done with this game that needs to be added to make it that bit better! Better rewards, new stadiums / upgrades in general. Often too! More kit options too etc. There’s a lot more that could be done to make it more engaging and not so samey. I’m on tournament 52/53 and it’s not changed since 30.. more objectives and achievements too with higher rewards. Played the game for three years and refuse to pay for anything however still only have 4 elite players?! Easier to make somebody fitter and or medicate them. All as one rather then individually. ✓ Fun but frustratingAll in all a good game. Very addictive good fun and you can build your team, stadiums etc fairly quickly without having to buy anything which is nice. Reason for docking two stars -overheats phone and occasional glitches in game mean you miss parts of game - can’t Intercept line outs or block their run as their seems to be a glitch that stops interception move - As you progress to make the game harder your team gets sloppier, more knock ons, passing to no one, can’t kick very far during box kick - can’t score conversion far out… literally kicker does not kick far enough - Always seem to be kicking into the wind - Facing a good team you can never seem to turn the ball over and they literally run through some of your players Has the potential to be such an awesome game but made it to level 17 before it just got too frustrating to play A practice mode would be really cool as well just to play around in, practice moves etc or being able to replay lower league games . The stadium’s have gotten worse and worse, because Murray Field I just don’t wanna talk about that and Italy usually have a half football half rugby field which is way bigger. ✓ AnnoyedThis game is really irritating me now. When I play a average game, there are so many mauls which just isn’t what would happen in a real game. Furthermore, I was playing the World Cup game mode. I chose Kazakhstan because that is partly where I am from. Once I chose Kazakhstan I realise that they weren’t that good but I went into my game against Ireland anyway. Now, obviously I realise that they won’t be that good and should get dominated but this thing where every time I get tackled my team can’t defend the ruck. For example, my prop goes for a drive in the middle of the pitch with multiple of my players there, yet he will stole lose out on the ruck. This makes it completely impossible to score any form of points and it is just not right..Version: 1.3.0
