✓ Illogical sometimesWhilst I enjoy the simplicity of the design of the levels, often easy, sometimes headslapping so once you figure them out. Clever word play and some Challenging. Meaning that with my Iphone 8 I have to completely shut down my phone and restart. I am going to delete the game since it is causing issues. ✓ Good Start, What Happened*contains spoilers/answers for certain levels* The game starts out really fun. The puzzles are tricky and entertaining. But after a certain point, the levels become boring, tedious, and frankly, annoying. The annoying part for me is the way hints are handled. Each level, you get a little bit of information to point you in the right direction of the answer. For example, one level had four framed photographs of heads on the wall; the answer was “forehead.” Cool. But there was one level where the information they gave you was five cards with the letter M printed on each card. I ended up buying a hint and that costs gold which you can buy with real money or get by watching an ad. The hint that they gave me (that costed gold) was “All of the cards say M.” No, really? The answer to that level ended up being Mall and I get that the clue was saying “them all->’m all->mall” but a lot of the time, the hints are not helpful. Plus, some of the levels are ridiculously easy which I understand they probably use to balance out the challenge but that’s why people download the app: it’s a puzzle game therefore it is going to be challenging. Heck, the App Store display page says only 5% can beat this game. People expect a challenge. In summary, the game started out fun but I’m getting annoyed more than enjoying myself when I play..Version: 1.3.1

✓ Frustration...It’s an ok game but they are purposefully lapse with a lot of the ‘clues’ in order to have to watch a lot of adverts. Some of the puzzles are just plain awful... some of the drawings are impossible to work out what they even are.. plus a lot of non English terms and words so I wouldn’t have a hope to work some out. ✓ Fun first levels, then annoying and stupid levelsThe first levels were fun and great for just starting, but as you got farther into the game, they started to get frustrating. For example there was a level with a pic of a G with lights beaming out of it. I saw it and thought, “well, that looks like a sun with a G inside it! So maybe gsun?” We’ll that didn’t work or make sense, so of course it was wrong. The answer ended up being gray, as G ray as in rays of light. This is not the only puzzle that did that. I called it one thing and the game called it another. One more example of this is a riddle where there was a desk with broken legs and a globe on it. The question was, “what will happen in the next second?”. I thought, well if the globe falls it will brake, or crash, or fall. So I tried all of those and none worked. The answer was quake. As it will quake when it hits the ground. That caused me a lot of trouble as quake did not make sense to me. So I watched a ton of adds to find the answer as I did for many of the puzzles. Last and final problem, some of them aren’t even riddles. They are puns. Like the puzzle, what animal has the largest breasts? I used a hint for this and it said that the largest bra size is Z. So I though Z bra - Zebra. And that is not a riddle, that is a pun. If hints are helpful and answers are not super easy, but not not making sense I will consider re downloading..Version: 1.3.4

There were ads for extra coins and extra hints for $2.99, so I bought a few. Right now, my coin total is 6197. That’s really good, but I got to level 355 and the game is over! Done! Finished! ✓ Terrible :(I expected an actual escape room. I play these kinds of games frequently, and I usually enjoy them. However, when I started to play this game, I realized quickly that it’s a set of simple riddles with a one-word password to unlock the door. In order to play this game, you need to have a basic sense of intuition and you need to know how to read. Content is not unique and I don’t know why this app deserves a rating of 4.9. Exactly the opposite of the description: “the most innovative ever escape game with puzzle experience, you must not miss it!”. On most apps I write reviews for, I am able to give constructive feedback. For this one, start over entirely and create an actual innovative and challenging set of escape room levels. P.S. ✓ False advertisementDownloaded this game after seeing an add. In said add you had to solve various puzzles per room, including opening safes to find a key to unlock the keypad to the door. I beat the entire game and you rarely click on anything more than one picture, book, or scrap of paper. Also, I solved quite a few of the puzzles without understanding how they had anything to do with the clues given. Another review mentioned inappropriate adds. I agree. My wife was very confused by what I was doing when she saw my screen while a random add played of a girl sexy dancing in basically underwear. Add was for a chat room type app. Why? All and all it’s a boring game. I beat it hopping that eventually the levels would become more engaging like advertised. After 240 level and three days it did not..Version: 1.2.0
✓ More frustrating than addictingI think this could be fun but sometimes it's near impossible to understand what you are looking at without clicking on the hint (which is actually a fairly helpful function most of the time....except for the time it just told me what specific item the generic illustration was depicting). Also, the answer button isn't worth it at all. If 40 coins gets me an overall decently helpful clue for the whole word then 60 shouldn't tell me only one letter at a time since half the time I need it, I can already guess the first 3 letters, put those in, and only pay 60 coins for the game to tell me the letter I guessed was right. I'd rather get a "these letters are right and those aren't" function for 60 or so. I ended up deleting the game after I got to 50....Version: 1.2.2

The first is the riddle that requires absolutely no brain power and makes up about 75% of the riddles. The second type is the riddle that requires huge leaps in logic and make absolutely no sense until you spend coins on clues. How about the bullseye with an arrow in it? Oh, the answer is fame, because f and aim combined equals fame. Even though you aren't aiming at something if you've already hit it. Instead of being an escape game, it’s a word game about solving riddles. Some of them aren’t even hard! One example of this is level 18, where the riddle talks about Harry and a box. It gives you several answers with colors next to them, and the keypad had FIVE LETTERS, and the colors that are next to the answers are red, blue, and GREEN; the only five letter word. It would’ve been better to have done the colors PURPLE, YELLOW, and ORANGE; all of which have 6 letters and would’ve actually made you think about the answer. ✓ Starts out fun gets real dumb.Well the game starts out fun trying to figure out the puzzles and what word(s) they represent that you can type in the keypad but once you hit level 59 and up the puzzles are just like having to find the shortest word in some picture or find the differences in two pictures and the password has nothing to do with them. And all the hints tend to say is “combine the two words to make the password”. I’m on level 104 and there’s a cake on a desk and a picture of a bat on the wall. The word was Batten. Sure it has bag in the word but what does the word have to do with a bat and a cake. It’s just getting ridiculous how dumb these puzzles are. ✓ Worth a go.This game isn't like other escape room ones where you have to open lots of cupboards etc and find keys or match clues together. This game entails looking at a few items in the room and then thinking of a word which ties them together or is only related to one clue. It does get you thinking and some of the clues are so obvious that you kick yourself for not thinking of them without a clue! However, some clues make little sense in English (this has been translated or the developers have tried their best to write in English), and other clues/the word you need to exit the room are not ones you would actually think of without a clue as they don't really tie in. For example in one room there are bottles of alcohol and cigars on the floor and the word you need is 'harmful'. Unless you looked at all the letters you get and worked that out for yourself, it certainly isn't the word I would have come up with on a whim. Apart from that though, it is a good little game and will keep you occupied for a while. It does start to get a bit samey though after the first 10 or so levels. All in all a great effort from the developers, it just needs to have a few tweaks..Version: 1.1.7

I assume that it was created in a non-English language then a poor translation to English has been used meaning it's impossible to get the correct answer or progress in the game. I spent all my money on bombs and hints until I had all the answers. Turns out the answer was what I though it was originally. Which was thirty. The problem was... I didn’t have a letter T. Therefore it was literally impossible to solve the puzzle. Refreshing the app didn’t work so I guess the only way to fix it is to Deere the app and redo the 102 puzzles. You’re forced to watch videos to earn coins in order to guess the word. The hints are basically useless so you have to use the bomb and or the lightbulb help buttons. Again, making you watch videos to earn coins to use them. The explanations they give to explain the answer once you’ve “guessed” the answer correctly isn’t provided on all levels so you have know way of knowing how in the heck they came up with the answer. Plus, it’s not even offered on all levels. I think this game is only created to be deceiving to look fun but it’s all about getting you to watch the videos. Done with it and uninstalled it. ✓ Hints don’t match the clues.The clues don’t get more challenging, just get old after a while. Many are confusing - I understand that’s kind of the point - but a bed in the room is quite common so putting a rock in the room and expecting someone to get bedrock is just wrong. As you get to levels near 100 you’ll realize the hints given are sometimes from past rooms that don’t apply and make no sense. They just cause you to watch more adds to get a different hint. You’ll also see many clues with fine detail that requires you to take a screen shot so you can zoom-in..Version: 1.3.4

✓ Doesn’t represent English well.Frustrating in a bad way. 9 of 10 are easy but the 10th is hard because the programmer doesn’t know English well and uses the wrong word. Really. English words have subtleties in meaning that make them only appropriate in some circumstances and not others - and unless you assume the wrong word is being used and play around with a BAD thesaurus or use a bad google translator, they are not possible. 200 lvls in and I should have quit 100 lvls ago. ✓ Annoying AdsEverything is fine in the game until after a few levels were ads start showing up. After a little I would be prompted with an ad that when I tried to close it it wouldn’t let me so I have to close out the game and then open it again for her to go away. ✓ Its okay if you don’t have a different game to playThere are a few things about this game that make it less enjoyable. The hint button is more useful than the answer button, and to pass a level you basically just write a one-word punchline to a cheesy joke. Some of the jokes, like the one for level 6(I think), are slightly more mature, and younger players might not be able to answer. The graphics are low quality and not enjoyable to look at. Honestly Candy Crush would be a better way to spend your time than this. Would not suggest. There are also grammatical errors in the answers and hints that make it difficult to play the game or get the correct answer. The app wouldn’t be too fun anyway, even without these issues. ✓ Pro and Cons (easy fix)So here is my review of the game. It’s not a bad game as some of the puzzles are cleaver however some of them are a tad bit of a stretch and almost impossible to solve under an normal realm. Now if you plan is to just go about guessing 4,5,6 and 7 letter words until you solve it then fine but if you are trying to come up with words that actually relate to the puzzle then good luck. My biggest gripe is that when solving the puzzle even if you have the letter guessed right the clue still gives you the same letter and charges you a penalty rather than just give you the next letter, this is an easy fix and should be addressed rather quickly. After level 10 or so, the levels become unimaginative and almost impossible to solve no matter how hard you think outside of the box. Often, the clues in the room as well as the ones the cost coins, have NO LOGICAL relation to the password. On top of that, they give you a big room to “escape” from and yet each room only has 1 or 2 clues that are almost ALWAYS in the same places. It quickly becomes a game where all you need to do it just guess the password with the letters given, because searching for “clues” is pointless. ✓ Wildly variable puzzle qualityThis is a clever enough little timewaster but the quality of the individual puzzles ranges from the extremely clever to the incredibly stupid and unfortunately the clever ones are in the minority. You will eventually figure out how the puzzle maker thinks which will help you solve some of the more obtuse or nonsensical ones but on a lot of them you’ll need the hints just to figure out what the hell you’re looking at. One puzzle involved a picture of two men grinning like idiots. One man was wearing a hat and holding a stick. The answer was “bargain”... because apparently a stick is the same as a “bar” and we were somehow supposed to know that one of them had “gained” it. That’s what you’re dealing with. Fortunately you get ample coins to buy hints (with the usual ad watching first) and the game is otherwise free so you may find it mildly diverting enough to play.
