✓ Art of war mini game is better.This game is quite addictive I came to this after playing the mini game version of it in their other app. I find it very frustrating in this version that you cannot upgrade all the towers only certain ones. This differs from the mini game and it’s surprisingly annoying. Granted this mainly affects the campaign, the worst part is the AI can upgrade towers. They have monetised it so the troops upgrade rather than towers,not keen on this. Otherwise the concept is fun..Version: 2.0.9
✓ Rating this app 1* because of massive number of cheating playersOver last month, i have lost countless fights, at least 25%, to cheaters. I do not accuse them of cheating because i lost but because of what occurs during fight. An example is the match i was last in. I destroyed my opponents towers multiple times after he spend massive number of troops to upgrade. Yet he would constantly have higher troop count than me with after 3m mark having 60 troop count higher even though he wasted a lot of troops upgrading buildings to have building destroyed. This is the troop generation speed hack. There is also a hack where you can send 100 troops against 10-20 and lose all 100 against just the troops in the building. This is the immortality hack. This is just some of the highest frequency hacks i have observed. Another hack i have started to see is buildings restoring 20 troops every second while under attack. This is not the building being reinforced, but gaining 20 troops every second simply for being attacked..Version: 2.5.6
✓ Scam alertThis company is absolute frauds. No customer service to be heard of. all the matches are predetermined. You asked them for any sort of information on damage reports for this versus this. They won’t give you any information on anything because everything is a predetermined algorithm the more money you pay the more likely the algorithm will be in your favor, but if you ask them for any information on defense or attack points, how many troops does this person kill one attack this they won’t give you any information whatsoever because they are wires in their frauds. They can’t even tell you something as simple as what is the true production rate of a level five tower versus the true production rate level one tower. Even though supposedly level fives produce more troops faster than level ones you will find that some matches based on how the algorithm works that sometimes a level one will produce more troops in your level five but they won’t admit that and they won’t even comment or articulate on that there is no rhyme or reason as I’ve said you paid to win. If you pay more money you get a favorable algorithm They have no integrity and no morals in this company. These people are shameful..Version: 2.7.5
✓ Love playing this game for fun, HOWEVER!The poor or working class players have a hard time leveling up cards. If you really want to excel in this game you need to spend a ton of money! So yes, the rich will beat anyone that comes at them lol. One thing I wish they would do to help a little guy out is to be able to sell or trade the unwanted cards you have. If they were truly a platform for real gamers they would, but they do that & they lose money lol. I just recently started playing & already need 800 cards to upgrade a regular common card. ✓ Everyone uses the same 3 OP cardsHad to lower my rating finally to 1 star, they clearly don't care that there's 3-4 cards that everyone uses. Obviously something is wrong with the game if everyone uses the same 3 cards, the amount of times I go against people using the Pharoah, Demon and voodoo dolls is insane, literally 75% plus, in fact the only people I feel like who don't use it are the dumb bots you put in the game for some reason. You need to balance your cards, the voodoo doll has been op since the game came out and you haven't done anything but make it more op, pairing it with the updated Pharoah makes it even worse than before..Version: 1.8.6

There were some threatening messages in the chat room that I have to move for higher trophies players to come here. I am not interested in moving and I was forced to be kick. This game should be play for fun and casual. Threatening messages to move or be kicked shouldn’t be allowed in this game. bullies like TSLA should be banned and shouldn’t be allowed to dedicate this game’s mechanic and culture. ✓ Doesn’t match players with similar cards in daily playNow I have not played this game very long only about 2 months. But I was doing the daily challenge if you’ve played you know that they force you to use certain cards. Which would be fine if they didn’t pair me with 1 player who’s has the ability to keep me from attacking 1 side even though control of the Castle on both sides. Then another player who had a card that gives them the ability to pass though unclaimed castles. How is that fair when I was only able to choose from common to rare cards? Just create more solo player levels and stop with these so call PVP. I also don’t like that they have a feedback option in game but it doesn’t work..Version: 1.9.4
✓ Pay or loseI am well over a thousand battles in and now you are kind of stuck with no advancement in site unless you pay. It would be way more logical to make it to where you could slowly level up bit by bit, but now you wait and wait until you can leap. At level 12 you have to gather 1600 cards to level up. That’s insane and takes an eternity unless you want to pay in which case you didn’t actually earn it. Anyways, I’m done..Version: 2.6.3

✓ PVP is useless. Campaign not updated enough.The versus mode is garbage. You can have higher level troops with a level 5 tower and your opponent will take it and somehow get 50 bonus troops in it even though you were reenforcing the tower with your own troops and they didn’t have 50 troops to begin with. On the flip side, your opponent can have a level one tower with two troops in it and twenty of yours will just bounce off. They drop messages all the time saying they are tuning the troop types for balance, but they clearly don’t change a thing. The only meta is to be the first player to pile all of your troops into your highest starting level demon tower or inquisitor tower and send them all at your opponent at the same time. ✓ Great game- bad pricing system - unbalanced troopsGreat game, simple concept gets you hooked in from the moment you play. The reward system is very expensive you need to spent money to get these gems and these gems buy very little. You can easily spend 100 dollars in one day without achieving much. There are some troops that are op and when you see them there is no point playing. I reckon the focus should be on stats more than this extra powers that give very specific armies op status. Also the trick that you can move troops back and forward between towers to increase your troop level is very unfair and makes the game very unbalanced. ✓ Invincible towersAlmost every game now whenever I send my troops to a tower(tried all kinds of troops and different combinations and still had the same result) they all get wiped out by a smaller force as a little icon with a tower in a circle with a line through it pops up and all of a sudden my 50 monsters get wiped by a tower of only 10 enemy monsters with no losses on their side. Why does this happen? Can anyone explain this to me please? I love the game but this takes all the fun out when I lose matches this way. I didn’t find remembering the different skills and attributes of the different units too hard although it’s difficult to know which units to field. What is frustrating however is when you reach higher levels if you haven’t paid real cash to buy coins and gems to advance your troops by upgrading them you can easily be defeated by lower level players who one assumes have bought their upgrades and as a result I have found it almost impossible to progress from 3300 points and have spent much less time playing the games since then..Version: 1.8.7

✓ Strategy game without strategyI love the concept of the game, play it for hours. I don’t even mind the massive difference in abilities of the troops. What ruins the strategy aspect is the glitch that allows players to manipulate the troop size. I was extremely happy to see that they finally made a game of just that but they ruined every aspect of that game. They took away the charm and the fun and now your towers are just constantly under seized. You attack the enemy towers that you can no longer upgrade so it’s impossible to hang onto them because the most you can put in there is 10 units. ✓ Unbalanced matchmakingIt was a fun game for a bit, but there are some units that are sorely over powered (inquisitor), and the match making is WAY off. The gist is that every unit has a strength or special ability and a weakness. The problem is with unique units like the inquisitor who can pass through neutrals, but also has better attack AND def at lower unit lvl than the majority of other units. Also, be ready to play against people almost twice your player lvl. Why, at lvl 12, am I facing people at lvl 23?! The issue with the units is most likely an intended flaw to get people to pay for over powered units, and the match making issue is either due to new players paying to lvl up and running into me on their way up, or higher lvl people purposefully dropping to lower tiers to face weaker opponents for whatever reason. Either way, I’m not going to give money to a game that incentivized pay-to-win, or matches you with people twice your lvl to frustrate you into buying into the pay-to-win scheme. ✓ Just get a pumpkin GuardThis game is ultimately frustrating. The advantage of the pumpkin guard it ridiculous. If you have this card it is very easy to win and can get quite boring, especially just defending your towers. As this is boring you try other cards, then you lose when playing against someone with pumpkin guard. Which it seems 90% of people have (shows the advantage it brings). Only card remotely competitive with the pumpkin is the soul hunter, however this only breaks through the shield and is ultra slow !! All in could be a good game but currently it is not. ✓ Complete money grab, do not downloadSo I have given this game a chance, learned all the strategies yet the only way to improve is getting great cards which you can play for every day in daily challenges or buy. Obviously developers do not want to be able to get these cards easily so shell so money. So what have they done? Now the last couple of battles in the daily battles, they pair you up with people that 2,000-3,000 trophies more than you and almost perfect lineups against you. Pretty much very improbable that you do finish them all. Thought it was me, but has been happening for over a days now. When I read the other reviews, I can see it is a constant complain. ✓ Overpowered troopsTo start this game is one of the only reasons I played art of war. It is fun, especially since tower clash allows you to play against other people in the tower defense format. My compliant right now is that some of the troops are still way to overpowered. For instance, if someone has a high level pumpkin, it becomes nearly impossible to beat them as you can never break through the initial shield to do so. ✓ DisappointingI loved this game. Until I started wondering why I was getting defeated by such lower ranked player. Only to discover I am playing bots or player6736 as they call them half the time and their tower regenerate faster, I look at a tower that has 5 troops in them suddenly there is 15/20 from nowhere. Then a level 1 tower with 10 troops takes almost 30 of my level 11 to defeat it. It is making me switch off, it is such a shame. Thanks for the response. But I have now deleted the app. After the end of the last season I have lost 90% of my games to lower levelled players with lower troops. ✓ A money grabWould be a fun game except for all the issues like enemy towers becoming invincible, your towers switching to enemy ones without being attacked, and a total imbalance towards the enemy even if you have vastly stronger troops and tactics. All of which magically stop happening if you spend real money on the game. ✓ Unethical game play developers allowThe game developers support unethical play that 100% goes against their “community” guidelines which is really all they are. Their only concern is money. If you like to spend a lot of money. This is your game. You will thrive l, rise to the top, and be able to do anything you want to do. No skill will be needed. Make a name for yourself. If you have skill and not that much money this game is not for you. You will only get frustrated and quit. The game recently during a week long event had some players do some unethical play. It was blatant to all. They used a loophole which in the “community guidelines” says that type of play will get you banned and it’s against the “community guidelines. But since these players spend enough well you guessed it. They are sweeping it under the rug. They have a discord to promote the “community” however they wouldn’t know community if it was staring them in the face. Spend your valuable time elsewhere. ✓ Very Unbalanced and Lots of cheating/unethical playThe online game play is extremely unbalanced. Equally unimpressive is the amount of unethical and cheating game play allowed. Recommendation: - Fix unbalanced match ups. If someone is holding 10, 11, 12 cards, they shouldn’t be beat by a 7, 8, 8 within the first 10 seconds of game play. - It seems the closest you get to the next league, the more unbalanced it gets. If you’re at the lower end, you’ll have no problem winning (aside from all the cheating/unethical play). However if you’re close to moving on to the next league, or newly promoted, you will be matched up exclusively with cheaters and someone who has significantly higher ranked cards than you. - Ban users from sitting there the entire match and “volume building” or “sling shotting” (whatever it is called) the entire time. Whoever starts that process first is the winner. - Add a reporting feature to be able to submit the examples above to fix game play..Version: 2.6.9

✓ Not what I expectedI got this game because the original game only went up to world six. Then said to get this game to continue this “minigame”. I got this, and it isn’t really like that. Everything except your starting towers can’t be leveled up past level one, which takes out all the strategy from it. It isn’t as fun when as when you have to hold off on a tower till you level it up to a level 5 and then build out from there. It is let’s capture this tower that can only hold 10 troops and do the same thing over and over for every round. ✓ Really bad gameTerrible game, 500 of your troops will loose to 1 opponents troops, just played a game where all sides are supposed to be even, the opponent will always out produce you, even if you tailor your side, their attacking troops will take out 25 to 1, even if you have a defender, you need a minimum of 1000 to 1 odds when attacking, so you need 50000 troops to take a weak tower in match play. This game is so bad, people should look else where, I have stop playing unless travelling and really bored, in its current form the game is completely one-sided and unplayable..Version: 2.6.6
✓ Still broken.Your last update didn’t fix anything. Still starting battles and can’t upgrade towers or move troops around. FIX IT!.Version: 1.8.7
✓ Broken MatchmakingNothings worse than a game that forces you to pvp but then has issues with lag. Being matched and entering a game only to find your opponent has troops halfway across your map or joining a match and finding your opponent does absolutely nothing for the first 10 seconds. Completely ruins it when you have to consistently win in order to progress in levels and cards. Doesn’t matter if I’m on WIFI or data, the issue is a consistent problem.Version: 1.3.9
