✓ The new update is terribleOpened up the app yesterday and the app had been updated, and I hate it. It was so much better before, and it also caused me to lose most of my saved labels, and there is no longer a history tab that saved recent labels I didn’t save. Everything used to be on one screen and was very convenient. Now, I’ve gotta use this app that makes my work take so much longer. All I needed was a simple app to quickly print labels as I need them for my retail business, several customers have remarked on how simple and quick I used to be able to print labels compared to the dumpster fire of an app I’m now forced to use. Too bad there’s no way to go back to the old app. Please fix the app.PlatelunchVersion: 2.11.0

✓ Good hardware but App is hard to figure outI got this to work with the Phomemo printer which is very good but the printer only works with this App - so this review is for both the hardware and app. The hardware Phomemo M110 is excellent and very compact. Print quality is also excellent. The App is OK for single labels but complex for multiple labels from data. Once we start talking about using excel data or other inputs (actually only Excel), it falls apart. There is no way to know what is going to print if many rows of excel data is available. It doesn’t show it in the preview or it’s not self explanatory. I am taking away 2 stars just for this. Other than that the App is stable on iOS 15, connects well with the printer and hood for single label printing..AmosdadVersion: 2.11.3

✓ Bit buggy but worked... til it deleted my templates!!Opened the app today to find my templates had all disappeared. Also I thought i had registered when I first started using the app (with my mobile number) but cannot recover an account with those credentials. Any idea why my templates would just disappear? After updating, the app (in iPhone 13) run slower in startup screen then searching for connection with the printer. ✓ Barcode goes out of screen view(print view)Anytime adding a barcode to a label, the barcode goes out of screen view(print view) and can not be adjusted by reducir the font size. Please make the barcode restraint to the screen view(print view) and make font adjust it accordingly. So far is the only issue we have after last app update. A feature that we think is should be add it, is to be able to close the app while the printer still printing. Sometimes when we are printing lots of labels we have to wait until the printer finishes in order to do shomething esle on our phone, because if we close the all while printer the printer stops printing. ✓ D30 printerApp not intelligent enough to show options for device selected. Also, ads in app indicate sale of supplies but when you pick a label it says Uk and Germany only. Shouldn’t be showing USA dollar prices then when you open to see details swap to uk only. Shop has banner at top not movable and blocks view. Fonts look a lot a like. Proportional fonts but apostrophe takes up 3 times space on several of the fonts. Others complained about characters leaving extra space obviously they do not care enough to fix. ✓ Will not work with my Bluetooth keyboard all of a sudden.I use this for work every day to make labels for certified letters. It has worked with my Bluetooth keyboard for months. I went on vacation for a week and went to use it today and it won’t do it, the screen looks different, it no longer says ‘keyboard’ next to the font options. If I can’t use this with the keyboard it is useless to me, it is hard for me to type on my phone due to my arthritis. I tried to go to the app help button on this and there is no option to translate to English so it is useless to me too. Very disappointed. ✓ Very poor upgrade from my old manual label makerThe label maker itself performs well, but this app is buggy and impossible to use to make custom labels. ✓ Terrible performanceWhen I first got my printer 8 months ago everything worked fine. However for the last 5 or 6 months it has taken nothing short of a minute for the app to launch and continues to struggle once opened. It was “saving” for hours which meant my label making project was interrupted. I finally removed the app and reinstalled. Hoping that will solve the problem. ✓ Very Finicky!I don’t know why but when I try to connect the app to the printer at my mother’s place the app basically stalls, forever trying to load templates. It worked fine at my own home, but I need to use it at my Mum’s as we are packing and organizing things that need to go into storage. ✓ Previous Version Was Much BetterI have the M200 printer and do most of my work on an iPad Pro. Updates generally improve apps. But, this update is several steps backward. The previous version finally allowed me to work on labels in the landscape view on my iPad. This latest version dropped the capability. Please bring it back. There are other issues with the iPad version which have been stated by other reviewers that were not issues previously. That’s why I give it only 3 stars at this time. I would have given the previous version 4 1/2 to 5 stars, this version, as I stated is a step back. Also, it would be nice, for the U.S. version, to convert meteoric to inch measurements. ✓ Great app for the printer but with ANNOYING bug in recent updatesI love the app but a bug was introduced a few versions ago that means I have to stop using it I regularly tap on text or doc files on my phone. They open in what's known as "Quick Look" - you can see the document without editing it But now when I tap on any text document, it opens The print master app. The app can't do anything with the documents. ✓ The app itself is great, but missing one major thingThis app and my D30 label printer are great, compare well to my other “name brand” labeller, actually easier to use, connects better, holds connection, doesn’t drop out… I just really wish I could print a string of different words at once with the pre cut labels. For example if I’m labelling spice jars, I can use my template but have to print each one individually, I.e. change the word > press print again > specify the copies and position > press print again (with waiting time between each step) > then go back to change the word another time etc. It’s not efficient... ✓ Slow, Fonts DisappearedThe first time I used it, it appeared to work. Now, the second time, it took 5+ minutes to load. More time to find the printer. 2 more minutes to actually open the “Lite Mode.” Then, there were no fonts available. It only says “Default Font.” I updated the app. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still, very very slow and no fonts available. ✓ Love the Printer (D30) but the app isn’t fit for!The printer is pretty smart but the app could be so much better! I thought (most of my apps do, anyway) once you’d logged in you stayed logged in, but no! I’ve been happily saving my little templates only to find that if I actually logged in, none of the saved labels are there! My only workaround is to screenshot the label I want and add it as a picture once logged in! I don’t think you can even change your password! So why have I bothered with an account?! That spelling mistake is also getting on my chest as well! Copy and paste?! 🙄 And god the labels are so flipping expensive! My snazzy handheld Dymo is far more versatile, no app required and shedloads of reasonably priced labels on huge reels! I’m pretty sure that’s thermo as well! I’ve got all of the colours the labels come in! it’s even worth the slightly larger printer to get such simply printed and cut labels! It has more fonts, has tidy little borders, and the labels print in the right position! I have to offset my labels with the D30 when I print them to get them centred on the bloody thing! I also tried their useless website to comment and you get naff all! Unless (which I do) you ‘select all’ text, then copy and paste it! Good job too as there wasn’t even a submit icon to actually get it to go through! I’ll likely use up the labels and then ‘gift’ it to someone! Probably my 4 year old Great Neice! ✓ Updates Remove FeaturesWhen I got my two printers (D30 and M220) I left a five star app review and pointed out some bugs to fix. Things were good and seemed to be on track to get even better. But that hasn't happened. Changes keep making things more difficult, removing font choices, layout flexibility, and make saving labels difficult. And privacy issues are becoming more severe and worrying. A great hardware product is slowly being ruined by the downward spiral trajectory of its software. These printers, and the whole Phomemo brand will soon be extinct unless the company takes immediate and drastic corrective action. I assume this is because I won’t enable tracking. There is no reason that a label app should be trying to get this much information from users. ✓ Awful AppRight off the bat the app takes a full 5 minutes to load. Then, after you manage to create a label it takes another few minutes to find the printer. After reading the security information it seems that it could be relating all of your emails, txts, and personal information to the developer. Why doesn’t Apple let us block this in the settings? They only let us block notifications and cellular data, not access to all other parts of our phone. ✓ Enable screen rotation for iPad usersI have no issues with the development of the app. The only issue I have is that when you open the app is that it automatically rotates portrait mode and we don’t have the option to work in landscape mode. It’s just a hassle trying work to constantly rotate my screen. ✓ Snap the pins off the P12 and it works with cheaper cartridges.The P12 printer has been made to not accept the Dymo Letratag cartridges (even though these cartridges work in the Dymo Letratag !!). So I broke off the plastic pins (which stop the Letratag cartridge from fitting) and not it works perfectly and accepts Dymo and third party (cheaper) cartridges. VERY SNEAKY OF PHOMEMO to do this. Those plastic pins (lugs) have clearly been put there just to stop cheaper cartridges been installed into the P12 machine, as soon as you snap those pins off all cartridges work..AndyDurham10Version: 3.7.2

✓ VERY Limited Functions1. Font colour - unlike other apps, you cannot change the font colour to white so you cannot have text on a black background or a black paper. 2. Templates - very limited templates and border options - very difficult to import border pictures without the quality being extremely poor when printed. 3. Printing issue - when printing, sometimes it is not proportionate to the paper. This happens even when I use the centre option within the app so everything is in the centre, but when I end up printing, a part of it is missing or is not to scale. Please note I have checked the settings to match the paper and cantered everything but yet the same issue which means you end up wasting a lot of paper too. 4. Importing pictures - the quality drastically changes when importing a picture, even if its as basic as a border line since the templates available are very limited. 5. No option to create your own design or template which is quite annoying because if you import a picture design, the quality is drastically reduced and then you are left with no choice but to use their ones which again, very very limited. Overall, I believe the printer is really good but not the app and that is quite disappointing since you cant use another app either to print… not even their own Phomemo one….LitlPaVersion: 3.7.2

✓ Use to be iPad friendlyTo use this app now, I had to install it to my phone. Originally I was using my iPad for all my Phomemo printing needs but sadly this app is useless. Only a portion of the app now appears in a square. Unable so see anything below the banner area where it shows the selected printer. ✓ Has PotentialAt first, the app was amazing. A true victory for small businesses to help with inventorying and labeling . The issue I have is the barcode stays the same for each new label I create even if I have it changed. I cant successfully keep inventory organized if all the labels print with the same barcode number. Seem like a bug or something but it’s extreme frustrating to say the least.
