✓ Pros and consLove the game, find most of the events interesting. That’s the pro Con: after a certain level, it seems the only way to solve the mahjong puzzle is to use those helpers, the ones, that after you zero out you have to buy with gems, which means you have to spend real $$$. And unless you spend real $$ you don’t often get to the end of the event. And those 2day events … Look guys, we can not spend 24/7 playing the game! Get real! Addendum : this is a suggestion use a darker background with the tiles that have gold or yellow figures. It’s hard to see them otherwise.Version: 1.17.1700
✓ Game won’t loadI really like playing this game but for the last 2 days I cannot get onto it at all very disappointing something must be wrong and no other way of asking it to be checked..Version: 1.6.600
✓ FrustratingToo hard to get gems without buying them. Also very frustrating to play a challenge multiple times before solving only to have the item you were searching for not be there. Would play more if it were just a little easier to advance..Version: 1.12.1201
✓ Recurring glitch - Please fixAt least once per day the game hangs up when no more matches are available. But instead of shutting down and allowing player to move on, it freezes and the sidebar tools gray out. So player keeps trying to make matches but can’t continue. The only cure is to use a tool to reverse the last match. Then player must replay that match and then the games closes out properly. Player is not only irritated but also loses a hard earned tool. ✓ RubbishAfter every game played you get an advert. Some inappropriate. I tried an experiment. I played 17 games got 17 adverts. ✓ Mahjong emperorI used to love playing this game but lately the chance of winning is almost none. Today, I played the game 15 times and I won once. Even spending real money does not increase the chance of winning. You should be able to play the game and win sometimes without having to spend real money. ✓ DisappointedI love the game. However I’m giving it 3 stars, because the game is design to make you loose and use your shuffles, and other items and still they make you use your energy and not let you win. I’ve play very well and have find it within the game that it cheats. So it’s a great game but I wish you didn’t need some much energy when in fact, they purposely arrange the tiles so you don’t win, unless you use help. Not fare..Version: 1.18.1801
✓ Started out fun but not for longAttractive graphics but I am not a millennial and they threw way too much at me at once re special keys. I don’t remember what any of them do! Also I find it helpful on Mahjong games to have the active tiles lit up and the others not. With this game all tiles are lit. The first few levels are set so you always win, but then the odds become very stacked against you. After spending 2 evenings trying to beat ANY of the scenes I am frustrated and not having fun any more. This is getting deleted..Version: 1.1.104
✓ Empire of the Maj JongWonderful game love it. The graphics are the most beautiful I’ve seen. Play is smooth. However they keep making you repeat each play-set hoping you will see that there is no way you can win that set without purchasing the magic tokens that allow you to scramble all the tiles and start again from where you left off. When you do win against a monster you will,NEVER get some of those tokens to rejumble the tiles so you can win. Never have I picked a box with one of those tokens in it. However after choosing the box I want I then want to click on the ones I chose not to pick. AHA there lies one of those tokens in each box but NEVER in the one I pick. So yes it can be an extremely expensive game if you let it!.Version: 1.39.3900

✓ Lost placementI have gotten to the point I do not want to hit update, it has lost my placing two times now and I have had to start from the beginning. The first time I lost my placement, I had been playing for over four years! I don’t understand how it happened and it was very upsetting. So when it first happened, I was so upset I deleted it all together. Didn’t need the added stress. This will be the third and final time..Version: 1.21.2100
✓ GameThis is a great game if you only have a few minutes to play a game. This game as with the other g5 games I have play will only let you play one or two games or levels every forty minutes to one hour before it kicks you off n tells you to come back later for more energy. Personally I hate this. When I have time to play a game, I want to b able to play until I am ready to get off n if I run out of lives. G5 games don’t let you do this. They limit you to about 40 minutes in between games. I don’t know if the developers are not smart enough to develop more levels ahead or if G5 is just greedy n wants you to spend money buying energy/lives. What ever the case, you only get to play about two levels every hour. Most people don’t have the time to come back to the game every hour to play n then b told to come back in forty minutes n try their luck again..Version: 1.1.102

✓ Mahjong Emperor reviewA few months ago I would have given glowing remarks about this game. I was having trouble with my new phone and was unable to play or update my game. Since getting my phone straightened out, my game has gone back to the beginning. All of my buildings have gone down to the beginning and I also haven’t got my “Gods” up to where they should be. ✓ Empire of MahjongI was really liking this game until I got to level 9. Suddenly, I needed to shuffle the tiles every round and of of course that means you have to buy something with real money. I especially liked the fact that you could play at your own rate and the tile sets are better than most. Too bad it turned into a money grab..Version: 1.5.500
✓ Great game if…This game would probably be the best mahjong game I have played EXCEPT you have to buy jewels to get the boosters you need to win some of the levels. I have Injured my back and bed ridden. Played this game for 2 days straight. Only manage to “win” 5 jewels without purchasing anything. You can’t get squat with 5 jewels. PLEASE HEAD ALL THE WARNINGS and Don’t bother with this game unless your loaded Hey they’ve got a great gig though. ✓ G5 developerReply from developer says you can down load and play free, this is true until you need to feed your dragons buy food, habitats, islands 200 million coins per, then 15 million each to remove all debris on islands, then you have to pay to “educate” each dragon for each element a dragon has they start with one element to three you must pay a lot to educate 6 levels per. Please be honest to future players so they can make educated decisions. I should add all games these days cost money to continue.Version: 1.5.500
✓ Great game but requires good eyesightThis is a great addition to my various online strategic games. The only downfall is my eyesight not working with the many pieces that look so much alike. In the monster caves they say the treasures are distributed randomly. I beg to differ…..every time I choose a chest the good rewards are in the other 2 chests that were not chosen. I’ve been playing this games for over two months and have not gotten nearly as far as I would have thought possible. ✓ Only fun to play first few levelsThis game was really nice to play with at first. Once I got to level 9 and my buildings got to level 4, it was practically impossible to beat a level. The power ups don’t necessarily help you in beating the levels either. What will 1 undo do if you’re already making 20 different matches and there’s only one outcome afterwards? It’s just based on luck. So if at the start of the game, you are dealt with bad tiles, that’s pretty much it. After using all of my power ups and still getting stuck in one level for 3 whole days, boyyy I decided that was it. Game = goodbye..Version: 1.2.201
✓ Needs to be a FAIR GAMEWhen you spend hours playing a game everyday and get a group on your own (don’t buy any of the ridiculous this flashed in front of your face every 5 seconds to help you play the game - which by the way people the extras don’t help you play the game, you are wasting your money, the ONLY THING THAT HELPS YOU PLAY THE GAME IS YOUR OWN BRAIN and they know it that is why they flash those “sales” in front of your face every 5 seconds. They hope you will get so tired of seeing the ads that you will give in and buy them.) A new thing in the game is that when you have gone through each item on your own and go to redeem the collection you can;t because it says you are lacking a ridiculous amount of items so this is a new way to try and pressure you to purchase their specials. I am extremely angry about this. I am disabled and feel that this is directed towards all disabled and low income people that cannot afford to purchase the extras. It is a deplorable thing to do to an entire class of people and it almost makes me feel like they are trying to make all of us leave the game. I am very disappointed in G5!.Version: 1.4.400
