✓ Annoying difficult when you get past 350!I have enough “extra words” to fill six puzzles. If you care to look all these extras fit the space but are not the words. I am probably going to quit the game because it is taking me soooo long to find the word you chose for the crossword puzzle. It is no longer “fun” to go through 20 words that seem like they are the word— only to find there is no end. It’s taken 3-4 days to do some of the puzzles. Others are way too easy and resent being thrown a bone I liked the game when it made me feel like a winner. But I am still disliking spending 50 minutes trying to fill out 1/2 a puzzle. ✓ Needs better decoration optionsThe game overall is okay, but the options are very limited. There is one free option, one that costs three gems(that you have to buy,) and one that you have to watch a video to get. The free option is always, by far, the ugliest option. The decoration I would normally like to use, is the one that costs three gems, and i DO NOT want to have to buy the gems with my real money. A better way to set the options is to have one or two free ones, and one or two that you have to use coins for. And maybe one you must watch a video to use. Needing gems to use the decoration I want is extremely aggravating. I do not recommend this game if you intend to actually make the house looks decent. But, if you don’t care about the way the house looks, or have the money (or patience) to spend buying gems or watching videos, this game might just be right up your alley..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Could be much betterI just downloaded this game. The word part is fun, too easy, but I suspect it would get more challenging as the game goes on. I don’t think I will find out because the design portion of the game is a joke. They give you three options. After the first few you find out that only one is free the other either: cost gems ( which you have to buy) or you have to watch an ad. (Which although annoying I could deal with) the problem is the free one usually does not go so that leaves the other two. I have found my taste always seems to be the gem choice. If the developers really think I am going to buy gems to keep playing they are mistaken. My advice is don’t even bother starting this game if you care about the decorating unless you have money to burn. It is too bad it could have been a fun diversion. To the developers: give more tasteful options in the free category if you must have the other options make a way to earn the gems (extra words made?) besides buying. then it is up to the player if they want to pay. You could add a couple options with ads but not have everything that is a good option in the gem or ad choice. I am not sure how you got a 4.7 rating unless they didn’t care about what the house looks like. I will stop back to see if any changes are made in a week or two..Version: 1.2.1

✓ Remove ads is a lieI paid for the remove ad upgrade but it is false advertising. I still have to watch an ad every time I want to pick a different item. ✓ Good gameI actually finished. I have reached the cellar and now I get to take a break while waiting for you to add onto the storyline. I hope Sam proves trustworthy. Might I suggest in the storyline she either installs a really good security system or calls the cops on Scarlet. I hope Scarlet was the only scary part of the story and she doesn’t reappear. I’m actually sensitive to stuff like that and couldn’t play the game at night or I risked having nightmares and being creeped out in my own home. Also I would like to see common words be part of the puzzle instead of being extra words. I had to keep going and using a word unscrambler which is the only reason I finished the game and didn’t delete it. But I got frustrated having to go to the word unscrambler so many times because of words I rarely if ever hear. Some that I missed were obvious and I just wasn’t thinking. However a lot of them were words I have never heard. Also I sometimes had to try to word five or six times before it was excepted. Update-The game actually lost a star because they did update it and I finally got to play the attic and I made it into one other room. However I have deleted the game because too many obscure words and having to try a word multiple times sometimes before it would take it. The game was just too frustrating. Also each task just took too many completed puzzles to complete. I like the storyline or at least most of it..Version: 1.4.0

✓ Money grabber!!!I got this app expecting it to be like homescapes but as soon as I got into the game I realised that once you have placed an item, you can’t change it for another one and the second thing I didn’t like is this game is a total money grabber as you have to watch a video for one option, buy gems with proper money to get another option or the free one but the free one is always the one you wouldn’t ever choose. ✓ Money hungryThis game could get five stars if the company were not so money hungry. It has nice graphics, which is actually oddly rare in design games. The crosswords are, in my opinion, so much more fun than match three games. And it seems like the crosswords are written by native English speakers with a grasp of the dictionary (nothing against other languages; it’s just useful to be fluent to design a word game). The music is soothing. However, they use every possible way to squeeze money out out of the player. Ads in between levels, banner ads during gameplay. The three design options- one is free and ugly, one requires watching yet another ad, and the third you have to pay actual money for. Seriously, I’m not going to pay to get a pretty pretend room. I’ll just delete the game because the only option is ugly. And if you think that saying “tired of these annoying ads?” is going to get me to subscribe, you’re way off. It just reminds me that yes, I am tired of them and I could be doing other things. It’s counter-productive if all your money-grubbing sends players away. ✓ TerribleI hate this game. The options for modern decorations/designs all cost gems, and you either have to pay REAL money or do TONS of words for a prize. The second best option for designs force you to watch a video; most of the time, I would be fine with ads but it only shows adverts of games I already have! The actual word part of the game only has 2-6 words in it, and after doing a step that cringe girl talks to her uncle’s flipping dog for about five hours then tells you to get more stars. I don’t see the point in the coins as you can’t buy anything with them, and the coins are the only thing that you can actually earn HUNDREDS of!! The story behind the reason she is doing up some abandoned house is so cringe, and her face expressions while she talks to a dog or other characters (I know it’s weird, who talks to a dog?!) are super weird, she looks like she has jumped out of her skin at the sight of some random shine on the porch... So, as you can clearly see, this game is not worth downloading. It is just a mimic of homescapes, which is way better than this idiotic app! ✓ Can’t join inA few months ago I made it through all the levels available and I have been waiting - periodically checking in - for an update with more levels and more of the story. I became aware of the mini episodes during my last check-in and was pleased to think I would have something to do until the long awaited update. But I can’t play them. The mini episodes require available levels to play in order to get the necessary items to decorate the rooms. I can’t replay levels and the mini episodes don’t provide them. Being taunted with new content you can’t play really blows. So this is a 3 star review until this situation is fixed or there’s a new update of the main story..Version: 1.3.7

✓ Design FailThis game has a really interesting concept if you’re tired of playing match three designing games. But the designing in this game is severely lacking. In the beginning, it gives you three design options to choose from that are all free like most match3 games. But once you get past the first section of the house design, you have only one real free option to choose. There is one free option, one, option which costs gems, and an option that you have to watch an ad for. Each gem option cost 3-5 gems which you can only acquire through spending real money or you can get 1 gem from playing like 10 levels. This is a fun game if you just want to play the word portion of it but if you’re here for the designing factor as well I would say to play something else that gives you more options to choose from in the design process..Version: 1.2.2
✓ A really fun game but...This game is fun to play overall and the mini games are a great addition to the word games but there are a couple things that just made me really not enjoy it quite as much, when you get enough stars to complete a task you either have to take the boring one that is free, pay with gems or watch a super long ad. This really made it hard to customize anything and I think giving more free options would’ve made it quite a lot better. ✓ FrustratingThis game is starting to get frustrating. The amount of extra words I get in each game is ridiculous. When you go to watch a video it says that the video ‘isn’t ready’. There is a certain icon that shows you that the video is ready and that is what comes up. The words are really hard for me and I am looking at deleting the game. ✓ It literally restarted the entire gameI just downloaded this game last night & I made it up to level 85 all in one night then I started having trouble with the game like it’ll freeze out of nowhere, the ads to the game won’t have a X to let you get back to the game you’ll have to leave the game and go back in, etc. It was so annoying having to leave the game constantly and one time when I left the game it started me back over to level one I was so mad and annoyed cause I honestly worked hard getting to level 85 in one night cause I was addicted to this game. After that happened the game started to act up again so I left it and returned to it and that’s when the whole game restarted I had to redecorate everything start back on level one. I’m at the point where I’m just gonna delete the game and also the nicer options cost 3 gems and if you want more gems they cost $9.99 for I believe it was 33 gems. That’s honestly a lot for gems 33 at that I understand the people who made this game needs to make money but spending 10 dollars on gems is honestly too much and those 33 gems will probably get you through 2 rooms that’s about it and then you’ll have to pay money again for more gems or play 13 levels to receive 1 gem at the end. ✓ Cash CowI get it. You get a game for free, put up with ads. Everybody has to eat. I’ve been dying for a design game that wasn’t a match-3, so I figured this game would be my new go-to. So I went ahead and paid for “no ads” bc I figured I’d be playing it a lot. Well, just got an ad. Must be one of those 24-hour no ad things instead of a permanent no-ad detox. Ok, annoying, but whatever. No, the final nail in the coffin was when I realized literally every design choice gives you this pick three combo: standard boring choice, choice locked behind special currency (play about 30 levels to get enough for one choice), or choice locked behind ad. Bonus nails: 1) no option to go back and change designs once done, and 2) most actions are filler, things like “see who’s at the door” and “pick up mystery object.” It’s the same model as most mobile games, but this one made me feel even more like a walking wallet than most. Gate after gate after gate, and most options weren’t to my taste anyhow. I don’t care to pay a little extra for “free” games, and with the amount of reviews this game has they won’t be missing my money, but I’ll spend mine elsewhere..Version: 1.3.6

Unlike many of its contemporaries you cannot miss the long boring conversation pieces without paying the £4.99 price tag. The number of prompts to pay the money is annoyingly frequent. The design of the app to achieve your ‘perfect house’ means you will have to purchase many things in the shop. There is also a noticeable lag in the operating of the game on my iPad Air2 no other games I use have this level of lag. ✓ OK!Been playing your game for quite awhile now. I’m in Level 136. I’m somewhat disturbed that you have so many words as bonus words. What amazed me was that the word “mute” is not being recognised, not even as a bonus word. The word “mute” is on all I-Phones when calling someone. Please can you add the word “mute” to this game at least as a bonus game. I do understand that it won’t fit the grid for this level but it might fit other grids in later levels. ✓ Won’t get to the end of the storyWhen I started the game it was pretty interesting and not too difficult to get the grasp of the game. The word scrambles aren’t too crazy difficult either. However, as the levels get harder and more words are required to finish the game, you still get the same amount of stars at the end...one. One star for one game. And the quests require more and more stars to do just one basic thing, like five stars to do some dusting/hang up painting/go to other room. Wish they’d give your more stars, or even an option to win stars on the spin bonuses. I don’t think I’ll get to the end of the mystery story. ✓ Has the potential to be a 5 star gameI love home decorating games, but I was sick of the match 3 games. I was thrilled that this game was a word game instead! The problem is, they only offer three options for each decor item, and only one of them is free. If you don’t like the free option (the free option is always ugly, not at all modern), you have to pay 3 gems for the second option or watch a video for the third. I wouldn’t mind watching the video, but every furniture option I liked was the option that costs 3 gems. You either have to pay real money for gems or earn one gem each time you finish about 13 levels. So to be able to buy ONE modern furniture piece without spending real money, you need to play THIRTY SIX LEVELS, give or take. I deleted the game because that’s just no enjoyable. I know the game developers have to make some money, but that’s ridiculous. I do not recommend this game unless you plan on spending actual money. Maybe I’d be more inclined to buy a pack of gems if you got more gems for less, but for $9.99 you only get 35 gems. Every single nice decor item cost 3 gems and there are several components to each room, so I doubt those 35 gems would even get you through one room..Version: 1.1.4

✓ It’s OKI am not a big fan of this game as there are far to many adds. I was in the middle of a level and all of a sudden two thirty second adds popped up and I could not come of them🤬🤬🤬. Also the game keeps saying that I don’t have enough stars to do a one star task when actually I had 23 stars at the time. There was also a time where I had to come on and of the game about 10 times because it would not let me play levels or do any tasks. But I am being kind here and giving you 2 stars. ✓ MORE GEMS PLEASE!I enjoy the story line and the graphics, as well as the character Anna telling us her story. I just do not like the fact that we play the work puzzle and only win 1 gem for one level to go up. We literally have to use gems for everything. 1 gem to see what’s in the ground when we can obviously see it. It’s just not enough gems and it wastes q lot of time you can be using to decorate the house. Then you can incorporate stories in between fixing the house to make it fun and entertaining. This is for entertainment anyways right? I just think it would be better if they allowed us to win more gems to give us more time playing the game. Versus wasting time playing the puzzles to get items for the actual game. It’s frustrating and annoying. I’ll change my rating when I see some improvements or start winning actual gems. ✓ Cute idea, aimed at 2nd graders?A decorating game that’s a word puzzle rather than match-3 was so tempting, but this one isn’t satisfying if your vocabulary is beyond 3-letter words. I played to level 15, hoping the puzzles would improve. Gave up at that point because of the ad interruptions, plus the endless tedious dialog and the “spend 1 coin to check text messages” nonsense. I’m hear to collect coins to decorate. Yes, developers need to make money, but great games make players want to spend, rather than making us feel we’re cows showing up to be milked. I’m going with 3 stars because it does function as advertised, but I really disliked the experience..Version: 1.3.1
✓ Not a Fan Of the Game...I don’t like this game at all, it’s to much to think of but I will name some of the complains I need to address. 1. The Actual Challenges Are really easy, Personally I like the word games to kinda be challenging but to be honest this one is really easy it’s not really enjoyable anymore! 2. The Options for your house are really not the best. If you want your house to look like a kids preschool with green walls and etc then get the game! 3. ✓ It’s an alright gameI enjoy that this game uses words rather then all those other games that use a candy crush idea for it but I’d prefer if the words were actual words because the one I just did had the word “vat” and when I searched it up it’s not a word it’s short term for something else I would prefer to have actual words rather then short terms for something else and I also don’t enjoy having to spend stars to eat and talk on the phone that’s unnecessary because that has nothing to do with the house. ✓ Good but 2 thingsSo when you try to do the challenges lots of times it doesn’t let you for some strange reason please fix this because what I try to do is get lots of stars and then decorate it. ✓ PoorThe overall concept of the game is great. Getting coins using a word game to then make the decisions. But every click needed a coin, every mini game only gave out one coin and the adverts between made each decision a tedious chore. If the adverts had been limited and the mini games gave our more coins it would seem a little more worth it. It was like the whole game was in demo mode and the only way to break the game to make it enjoyable was feeding it real money to get the better options and removing the adverts..Version: 1.3.4
✓ The game is fun but it’s not excitingI love the game, but this game only gets 3 stars for me, mainly because, the game is just a money hole, like don’t get me wrong, but.. you can only choose one thing to choose what you’re house is going to look like and the other 2 are basically a video and diamonds, so you only get one choice of what you want to pick really, so you’re not deciding what the house looks like the game is. There are so many grammar and spelling mistakes across the game, and it’s to easy, at first I was like, “well we are starting off easy” but then it got easer, surprisingly. ✓ It’s good until…The game was great at first and then I needed gems to buy the modern items and that is extremely annoying as I only like modern style. Now I keep on playing and I get to a level where the same word comes up again but it won’t let me put it in so now I can’t continue with the game?! ✓ Used to love…I really loved this game & played obsessively day & night. It’s very addictive & fun being able to buy items to decorate the Mansion while reading a storyline about the mysteries inside. You can also go back & change the items in past decorated rooms if you like. It really is fun. The reason I gave such a low rating is because as you go into higher levels the “purchase price” for the items needed to buy in order to decorate the rooms goes from needing to have 1 ⭐️ to buy something to anywhere between 5-7 stars. Even to answer a phone call takes 4 ⭐️. What this means is that you have to play multiple - many! - games to continue. It stopped being fun as you practically have to play 100 games in order to complete one room along with the conversations within. Like I said, I loved this game when 1 ⭐️ was enough to buy an item but to have to get 7 ⭐️ to buy a plant (or whatever) is too much..Version: 1.4.9
✓ Word mansionNice game but far far far to many crosswords for each playable scene. The scenes are very poor with simply the girl and hr dog standing in the scene and that what they are doing is very poor when you choose what to do. This looks as if it has been compiled by an eight year old and becomes very boring father crosswords for twenty minutes. Sorry guys there is far better games on offer so why not take this one down and rebuild it..Version: 1.4.5
✓ Would’ve been 5 stars…Was loving this game and progressing nicely until it kicked me back to square one at the porch! Still at the same word game level but the story had completely restarted. Luckily I hadn’t used any gems or paid any money…but I’m still frustrated to say the least! ✓ Too hardAwesome game but I found that after a while the levels got a bit too hard and I had to ask my parents for some of the words, even then I might not of finished the level for another day or two. I hate how easy they make it look on the adverts(the words are harder).I also don’t like how long it takes for the story to come along. ✓ Had potentialHad potential but when you get passed four letter words it’s almost impossible to form the words you try to make. The spacing of the letters are all wrong. And that’s not counting the non stop glitches. I finally had to close the app but even that didn’t stop it. I had to re set my iPad. And this happened several times. ✓ Good gameThis game is fun, but I wish there were less puzzles and more of the actual story please try to change this! Also, I was just playing and I had to play 4 rounds which took forever and then I finally finished all of the word puzzles and got to choose the wallpaper, then the game glitched and now I have to do all of the word puzzles again to get the wallpaper I wanted and all of my stars just disappeared! I am frustrated and may I also make a request that you don't have to play 4 word puzzles just to choose the wallpaper? I think 2 or maybe 3 is good, but not 4. ✓ UghI was really excited about this game because I was so tired of the match 3 games. You know how on the match 3 games, when you get through a game then you use that star (or whatever that game might be) to decorate and you usually get 3 choices to chose from..... well this game gives you 3 choices but only one is free.. for the other two, you have to use your gems or watch an add! I thought that’s why we did the puzzle, to get stars to have our choice to decorate! That’s not the case with this game!! Also, most decorating games you can change what you pick any time. This game doesn’t let you change what you pick. I accidentally hit one I didn’t want and I had to keep it!! The word puzzles are fun but I can play those anywhere! ✓ Not sure why you have 4.7 stars??The word game part is wayyy too easy. I suspect it will get harder as the game goes on but I am not going to find out since the game is so horribly done. About 5 minutes into playing there is some glitch where it doesn’t allow me to see the dialogue that is going on or any scenes about the story developing. Then you can’t actually style the place nicely because the only nice style is the one that costs gems which you have to buy. There needs to be another option to get gems if you are going to make us pay gems for the only nice styling option. Maybe watch an add for 3 gems or something. But if you think I’m gonna pay money for gems when I’m only 5 minutes into the game you are severely mistaken. Don’t waste your 5 minutes, you aren’t going to get anywhere in this game. It is a bummer because I enjoy these decorating games and this is the first one I’ve seen where you play a word puzzle instead of those stupid gem matching puzzles. ✓ AnnoyingI really liked this game to start with each time you fill a word game in you get a star and it starts off with you needing 2 to 3 stars to get either an object for the room your decorating or look for clues but later on they ask for 7 stars for 1 object which means getting through 7 word games just for 1 object! ✓ Dumb side storyThere’s so much unnecessary dialog you have to skip through and a side story that feels so unnecessary too. I’d much rather this be just a word puzzle and decorating game than something with a story about some girl and a dog. it’s also annoying because you have to spend your coins you get from doing the word puzzles on answering the phone, checking out sounds, irrelevant stuff like that and it’s such a waste..Version: 1.2.1
