✓ One of my favorite gamesI love this game. Thumper describes itself as “rythm violence” and that perfectly describes what you’re in for. The vibes, the gameplay, the music, everything. Absolutely perfect. I have it on my Iphone and PS4 and planning on getting it in vr, it never gets old. Hits harder than a truck.Version: 1.05
✓ PerfectThis is by far the best music game I have ever played. It feels so luxurious and fantastic, with all the monochromatic fluctuating designs. Something others may not like is the extremely steep learning curve. It will take much trial and error to get through. A bug that I have is that I am not earning any achievements after I beat level 2. I have an S rank on levels 1 through 3, but I only have the achievements for beating level 1 and 2. ✓ Fantastic gameI played this game a lot on the switch and it was a fantastic challenge. So far, this mobile version has stayed true to form. It’s quite abstract in its visuals but if you want a challenging, unique rhythm game - you’ll be hard pressed to find anything better..Version: 1.01

✓ Amazing gameDefinitely a must play for anyone who enjoys rhythm games. The difficulty is very well balanced, considering you can play it on your phone, console, or PC. I have noticed an issue with achievements though. Recently I have been going for S rank on all levels, and have made it through to level 5. I checked my profile and S rank didn’t show up for levels 1-4 despite me doing them. Still one of my favorite mobile games..Version: 1.03

✓ Game becomes not fun, nearly unplayable, on level 4.Thanks to the developers for pointing the controls I wanted are actually already in the game! 5 stars! See below for previous review: Once you reach level 4, tilt controls are required for lane switching which brought the fun to a standstill. Tilt controls are not good for this kind of game. Having the left side of the screen swipes used for lane switching, and the right side of the screen swipes for the basic movements used previously would fix this issue… In other words, getting rid of motion controls by adding more swipes using left and right side of the screen. If some alternative like this is implemented, this would easily by a 5 star game… until then, I do not recommend. I did have fun first few levels, that is why I give 3 stars..Version: 1.03

✓ These reviews…Some of these reviews are just nitpicks. They complain about how the tutorials are vague. I easily got them first or second try. They also say how the timing is behind and it screws them up but most of the time it’s lag. All you have to do is swipe slightly early. It’s a great game! ✓ Not for everyone, but definitely for meThis game is brilliant. Playing on 120hz on iPad Pro gave me the best experience. It’s brutally hard as you go on and you need to get fully into the rhythm and make your timing perfect. A good tip is to exaggerate your swipe movements so the game registers it after and more precise, which is key for this game. Generally it’s a lot of fun to sit down and be immersed in, but not everyone will enjoy it as their cup of tea. I certainly did though..Version: 1.01

The level creator in this game (would) be even BETTER THAN WORLDBOX!!!!!! And if you ask me, i'd say that worldhox holds the top level creator right now, but you could possibly TAKE OVER THAT POPULARITY!!!!! With one simple level creator (you get to pick if it's a circle or triangle boss but the game picks which final boss depending if it's your 1st level, 2nd level, etc.) This game could possibly have the most popular level creator and you would make possibly (POSSIBLY!) There is a bug where the menus don’t appear on the title screen with the initial release. If you minimise the game and then reopen the menu should appear. Planning to get S on all levels. However where are my Game Center achievements? It’s not a big deal but the button for Game Center is grayed out. ✓ 5 stars but 4 just to note about a problemOkay, so I’ve had this game for a while now. Everything about this game is PERFECT! But there’s one slight issue, When you press down, it works fine. But if you swipe up, left. Or right, the beetle has a slight delay that could make you loose between it turning and you swiping. ✓ Hard as nailsThis game is really frustrating. It’s hard and I keep failing levels and yet I’m totally immersed in it. To be fair I do have a skin condition whereby I often loose the skin on my fingertips. This makes playing touch screen games problematic. That having been said I love the way that the graphics show up on my iPhone. It’s not even top of the range or the newest phone. I’m stuck on the final 1st level boss and I keep dying but I’m not giving up. If you have lots of patience then you’ll enjoy this. ✓ Peak VideogameI’ve had this on my wishlist for years but somehow never justified it over all the games I own but haven’t played. Thanks to Apple Arcade for solving that for me! This is pure, distilled, perfect videogame. I can sit and play it and hours disappear. When I’m not playing it, I’m thinking about playing it. It’s all-consuming and demands to be mastered. The only thing missing is Apple TV support. I want to play this on the largest screen and sound system in my house. It’s a five star iPhone game. I’m sure it would be a five star Apple TV game. But as an Apple Arcade game, it’s missing a feature that would make it everything. ✓ Nearly PerfectI’m absolutely loving this game. The music, rhythm, and arcade action make for one of the best mobile gaming experiences I’ve had. And it would be nearly perfect if not for the lack of level selection. I can’t select sub-levels and this is just exhausting. ✓ The same old thumper that you know and loveThis is the original game, remastered for touch controls! It plays wonderfully well, there’s no stutter and the sound is amazing coming out of my iPhone 12. Admittedly it takes some getting used to, and you also have to be moderately decent with rhythm games to play it, but it’s a really good, well polished game for Apple Arcade! One thing I’m not sure how to do is get back to the main menu as I’m playing. There’s no pause button so i presume you have to quit out of the game to end it? Not sure if there’s a better way to stop the game than that at the moment! Highly recommended, try it out and put your skills to the test with this lovely rhythm game!.Version: 1.01
