✓ Beyond AwfulI paid for no ads and gems as I genuinely enjoyed the game however after I paid I still had hundreds of ads that interrupted the game as well as you having to watch them to play the game properly. I also didn’t receive the gems I paid for. ✓ Concept is good, execution somewhat flawedThis is a cool, fun little game which I’m excited to see develop further. But there are a *lot* if ads. More frustratingly, there’s a lot of ‘filler’ options (for lack of better term) and focusing on one branch doesn’t seem to make more options in that area appear quicker. I’ll sometimes have a character literally die before getting a single option for a job or college, or date, and in stories will have then character die of old age before being able to complete it. ✓ Good app, bad help serviceI really like this app, but have experienced a big issue. When attempting to play this game it won’t let me open the app on my iPhone. I downloaded this on my iPad and loved it, but I haven’t been able to get it to work on my phone. I don’t know if this issue is an individual one or not, but I did try everything from deleting and reinstalling this app to powering off my phone. When the app is downloaded, it doesn’t appear in my iPhone storage or app section on settings - only on the App Store and the Home Screen. When attempting to contact unico for help, my attempts bounced! In conclusion the app is good if you don’t have any issues and if you do there is no way (that I have found) to contact the creators for assistance. I really hope this changes!.Version: 1.3.1
✓ A mess.Time to re-review this. Doesn’t deserve the 3 stars I previously gave it. Not only do they ignore reported bugs, of which this has several severe ones, but they updated this app for the sole purpose of adding obnoxious flashing ads for their other games into it on top of not fixing this one. Also filled with mini quizzes that constantly insult and patronize you on pick three choices. Real fun, in an already subpar game designed to give you extremely repetitive poor choices at all times so you will watch a bunch of ads trying to get any choice beyond the same 8 or so ones it unendingly gives you. It’s not that game where you scroll along a platform thing and make all the choices (through the different doors?), it’s that crappy cash grab that has no intention of making the experience fun and investing to players, instead focusing on profit. This game takes the opportunity to make you buy something/earn money whenever possible. Want to play with dad instead of eating that bug? Oh sure, just watch this ad. Want no ads after every single choice you make? Oh yeah, a one time payment of fifteen dollars! This is a good game, except for the fact you have to pay a fair chunk of your wallet to enjoy it to the fullest. ✓ Could be a good app but…Every time, they give you 4 option and at least 1-3 are behind ads. Often in my games, i’ll only have the adopt a dog or cat option and after that it CONTINUOUSLY will only give you “sell dog” or “sell cat”. If you play without giving in to the many, many ad options, you are basically forced to get a pet and immediately sell them. Not to mention the lack of goal based options and that once you get to a certain point, the only option to progress your goal is behind ANOTHER ad. ✓ Don’t waste your time because it will certainly waste yoursBefore I begin, the ads make it unbearable. So I quickly got rid of those by paying. Your preset character is born with specific life goals. You get 4 scenarios to choose from to either add or subtract to your skills. Depending on your goals, you want to get certain skills up. The next set of scenarios is randomized. Your character ages and the scenarios also evolve. Even if you play childhood perfect and get the skills you need, you are at the mercy of the randomized scenarios to get the goals. The more games you play, you get jewels that you can use to re-roll the scenarios but you will quickly run out trying to get the scenarios you need. Example: you want to be a police officer. You’ve got the skills. Your 4 options are date, steal a candy bar, go to the zoo, write a screen play. (These are made up I have not played in a while). None of these examples are for police officer. So you either reroll and use your jewels or possibly go down a rabbit hole taking you further and further away from your goal. You may get lucky and see what you want but it’s so few and far between. It gets irritating after the 3rd or 4th time dying and never seeing the completion of your goals..Version: 1.1.0

✓ Money or AdsThis game is ridiculous. While the concept of the game is interesting, it’s really unplayable. Preface: the game lets you pick one of four options/choices every round/year of a person’s life. Your choices affect the person’s life stats like wealth, happiness, karma, creativity etc. After each choice, the person ages one year which is how the game progresses. At first I would get an ad after every 5-7 choices or so. That was okay. But then I decided to turn off my Wi-Fi and cellular data as one does to bypass ads. But somehow I get even more ads. This time the same ad pops up after every single (1) choice I make. This forces you to turn your Wi-Fi or cellular data back on to get the normal ads. But later on, while playing through the second person’s life, 3 out of the 4 choices where ad blocked. Meaning I had to watch an ad to unlock the choice I wanted or I had to pick the one choice that wasn’t locked by an ad which forces you to pick a certain life route for this person. Which is terrible design. I get that game developers need money somehow so you either pay the 3$ fee or watch insane amount of ads. But neither options are worth it for a game like this. As I was just trying to enjoy the game and play out my life, I barely got out of childhood with my own character because I could barely stand the frequent ads. I would make one decision and then get an ad. I was reading through other reviews and somebody else said that they turned airplane mode on, so I tried that and still got ads EVERY SINGLE TIME I MADE A CHOICE. The amount of ads in this game is incomparable to other game’s ads. And the ads take forever to skip and exit. You can only choose from 4 choices at a time, and if you want new options you have to pay diamonds. But there’s no guarantee that the new options will be what you want. The ads are INSANE, like you actually cannot take a single breath or click a single thing without ad after ad popping up, game is quite literally unplayable unless you want to pay for the ads to be removed. ✓ UghThis could be a great game, however, there are too many little things that add up to a world of frustration, and I'm just not having fun. 1. The ads. Every time I opt to play an ad to pick a better choice, I get a separate, forced ad a few seconds after. If you're going to lock a bunch of your content behind ads, at least don't force me to watch ads the rest of the time I'm playing. 2. Bugs. I have had two characters' ages get stuck, so they and their family never age and never die. The first one I kept playing until it started only giving me about five options over and over, and refused to let me do anything else. 3. Choices are too random and nonsensical. Sometimes I want to play my own story with the character, but I never get the options in hoping for. Or, I join the mafia or something... and then I never get another choice related to the mafia. "Jobs" don't seem to actually pay you anything outside of the choices you make, and are only available if you happen to get and choose their specific option. My first character was college-educated and invented the quantum telescope... but also only worked a retail job her entire life, because they only careers I've come across are retail, superhero, mafia, police, and maybe actor, and I didn't take her in those directions. Most of the sources of income are not at all related to job choice. 4. Health declines too rapidly after 50 with little to remedy it. ✓ Fun at first but no varietyThe options are exactly the same. I don’t mean each character has similar options to each other. Even between each selection. 3/4 of the options will be the ones you didn’t pick last round. It’s difficult to cultivate certain skills and relationships because it’s been 9 years since my character got a lover and she hasn’t had the option to interact with him since. She “looked for friends” once and the next 5 options were dedicated exclusively to to those options even when refreshing the options. I’m consistently unable to get married or have children because I can’t develop my relationships beyond the initial development. It’s a bummer because this game was super fun at first and now it’s just frustrating when I can’t create any variety or focus any attention. This problem is consistent with ever “custom” story line. The preloaded stories cater to the specific goals so much that outside development is virtually impossible or you’ll miss time sensitive options that don’t alert you to said limitations. I did the hacker life and one selection had a story selection and a develop relationship selection and I selected the relationship one to place hold some story building and the story selection never showed again and I had to miss out on that requirement. ✓ I liked the game but..I liked the game a lot more than I expected to. Was hooked to it for two straight days. Here are the reasons for my 3 star rating: 1) I had to pay twice to remove ads. It didn’t take the first time. 2) I accidentally deleted the app and when I reinstalled, there was no way for me to go back to my original game play, so had to pay again to remove ads. There needs to be a way to sign in. 3) Some choices do not do anything in the game. If you do not qualify for college the first time, sometimes, an “Apply again” button appears. But clicking it does not do anything. 4) It is impossible to reach some goal. For example, make 7 best friends and throw a party. After 7 best friends are made, the only options that keep appearing are either to stop seeing them or some negative interaction with them. I have bought a mansion and thrown a party there after acquiring the friends but that did not satisfy the goal 5) some paths just disappear and the options to progress on that path never appear. I went very far into the super model path and the mafia path, also the piano player path. But after a while, the rest of the options never came. My life ended. I understand this happening a few times but in close to 100 lives, I could not make it happen. 6) getting enough skills in intelligence and creativity by the time it’s time to apply for college is extremely difficult.
