✓ Great idea bad executionI like the idea of this game. But when building a shelter, foundation blocks are higher than the “base starter”. Foundation blocks in games like this are a constant problem I have which prevents me from from continuing playing. This one is no exception. Interface is fiddly. Not the greatest job explaining advantages/disadvantages of the starting areas and the choosing a location within that area is kinda like doing so blindfolded. Character pieces seem not to fit each other very well. It doesn’t really create a smooth looking character. Seems like the whole spirit orb thing could be simplified.Version: 1.0.4

✓ Update ended it allNewest update caused my character to disappear. Customer support is terrible. They said they fixed it and asked me to confirm. They were wrong. I messaged them back to tell them it wasn’t fixed, and I haven’t heard back since (this was a week ago). I spent a good amount of money and time and it was wasted. If you don’t mind progressing just to lose your character and have no choice but to start from scratch - without all the items you paid real money for - then have at it. I loved the game. Amazing graphics, plenty to do, but unstable, and customer support won’t fix anything for you..Version: 2.1.2

✓ Good game but complex chat system……..When I first started off it was a great start but when I registered the account I have to start from square one. Then rank myself back up without some tutorial to help a bit but what I didn’t notice is the big complex chat system that’s lock until level 30. The team chat I did the second time after building up. what’s scared off the level 11 is the inability to team chat then runs off towards the end of the north map until I leave the team. I tried one last chance to make a confession that I did not see the team chat but was unable to team chat several times. Then I think of this. Let them go and have to learn this chat thing every time to remember to press the middle light dark box then team chat. From the hardcore console games of certain titles..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Let me play the game pleaseI have downloaded it 9 times and still haven’t been able to play. I was able to make a character once but it wouldn’t let me play. I deleted and redownloaded multiple times only because I really wanna play. It keeps getting to 99% on the loading screen with the dinosaurs. It hasn’t let me play at all now. I’ve seen my sister play it and the game looks amazing, so I really wanna play. Please fix this. I’ve considered if it was an internet problem but my internet is fine. ✓ Great game…. BUT…I love this games graphics and the game play. There’s so much to do…. but the game is very expensive. Maturity pills are hard to get and can get expensive. You can buy them with sage which is an in game currency that you also never get enough of… There are no events that allows you to obtain these in large enough quantities. The latest EVO pet pill is easily 100$ or more. The game is a great idea .. and Ive been playing for over a year but when you cant afford to add more than 5 or 10$ to the game.. it becomes very easy to feel stuck. I’d like to see this game become more affordable or another game with similar open world game play thats more affordable..Version: 2.3.1

✓ Was great until….I really enjoyed the game but then when forced to register I lost my character and progress which really sucked as I put a lot into the character. That was the first bloop Chimeraland made. Then I started from square one and progressed really far and worked really hard. Then the servers were merged and my house was destroyed and someone else’s house was put in that spot. My house was built specifically for that spot and won’t work anywhere else and the house put there was really stupid for that spot in my opinion. That was the second bloop Chimeraland made. I stopped playing now because I’m not going to screw me over a third time. This shows me to never start playing a game day one and give it a year to see if it survives. I don’t think this one will, I never ran into another player except my sibling when we planned to play at the same time. So I’m done and even if this makes it a year I won’t be playing again. I’m very frustrated as I could see the potential but the developers ruined it for me quickly..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Barely playable on iPad Pro 11-inchTexture pop-in, low framerates, bugs. If you can overlook all that, then you’ll find this game has a good concept and some pretty scenery. It’s very grindy (what else would you expect from a f2p game) and has somewhat opaque gameplay (a ton of complicated systems that aren’t adequately explained) but allows for a decent amount of creativity. Sadly, the mobile version leaves much to be desired in the performance department. Or perhaps I am just expecting too much out of my no-longer-top-of-the-line iPad..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Can’t make a personGood game could be great, I can’t even make a character right though. Not sure why and it keeps deleting my characters and making me completely restart. Different characters/creatures and different abilities to the different races of characters would be cool. Like the squid people could breath underwater for like an hour, the bird people could fly for like 5-15 minutes or something and the same with the dragons. But right now my biggest concern is not being able to create a character due to it not letting me choose a name. Also adding more to do and more to the map would help..Version: 2.1.2

✓ 60 minutes….Quickest uninstalling of a game ever. I made a character and then it crashed and when I loaded back in I had to recreate the character. No big deal. After doing that, I waited 30 minutes for the game to load… it just… kept…. Going.. assuming I was stuck in an endless loop of loading, I left and tried again. AGAIN I had to create my character and waited another 30 minutes still not able to get in. I wasted an hour and I don’t know why you think anyone wants to wait an hour to get into a phone game… I get it’s open world and “it’s creating the world so it may take a while to load” but holy… an hour? Now I’m frustrated can’t evolve my pets to the high level as they still don’t have a item I need, and I only found out after all the work and money was spent on the pet. Don’t count on it.Worst gripes about the game are the SIN mechanic, the lack of any real explanation for anything meaningful, the aggravating character customization, and the awful drain on my phone’s battery. SIN is a debuff that you get if you venture outside the map’s boundaries. Doing anything meaningful after that (like gathering resources) summons level 65 celestial pegasus knights that “arrest” you GTA-style. They basically punish you for exploring outside the map because “hurr durr you’re an illegal immigrant now”. And they do actually mention “illegal immigration” there. The other stuff has been explained by other reviewers already, so I’ll leave it at that. I’m still making an attempt to play the game more, but you won’t see me buying anything with the game’s microtransactions (which aren’t too expensive, honestly, but don’t feel worth getting regardless)..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Login issuesMy friend stopped playing the game because of login issues. He lost access to his account. One day he decided to open the app on his phone and he was logged out of the game. He couldn’t log back in which is weird because he still has the same phone. We both spent money on the game and would have continued but I’m not sure I’ll play as much with out him. ✓ DisappointingThe idea behind Chimeraland is really Interesting and I found myself excited for its launch. However during my experience I noticed many issues with the game. Such as difficulty navigating, confusing controls, and customization was a nightmare. The most obvious problems lies with the visuals themself. While the characterization visuals looked alright the same cannot be said for the world. Glitchy and barren land and an overall unappealing appearance. While I’m aware it is newly released these problems are vital for gaming experience and are the very core of a game. I fear of future development as the game’s foundations are lacking. ✓ Bad ark ripoffHello and I want to share some feed back after trying the game. If you are a developer of this game please listen and respond. So I played the game and made my character and then right off the bat it the game told me “craft arrow” and then “this is how combat is, there is close range, and far range combat” and that was it, it just threw me in the game and that was it. If anyone else is reading this I suggest that you play ark survival evolved or ark survival evolved mobile because it is way better personally. And I wanted to give this game a chance but it is just disappointing, and I apologize to the devs of this game. I was hoping of it to be something like “Durango wild” cause of the dinosaurs, and also the graphics are really bad. ✓ Loading Glitch FoundI’ve gotten into the game recently but something I’ve noticed, every few minutes I get kicked into a loading screen. In the middle of a fight, gathering materials, or just exploring and it kicks me into a loading screen. When I’m in a fight whatever I was fighting can kill me and my pet while it’s loading and I can’t do anything to stop it then it goes to the screen with the tips for two minutes and I load in and try to continue, please fix this if you can, overall though, it’s a good game..Version: 2.3.1
✓ Why???I love this game, believe me. I’ve invested so many hours and so much money to this game. I’m just infuriated on one of the mounts so far. I caught a Giant Kuntur, the giant bird with a friend. We were lucky because it dropped an egg, and we were so happy about it. When I hatched it and deployed it, guess what? A condor spawns. I double checked to make sure I didn’t summon the condor instead but nope, it’s definitely the Giant Kuntur. Same model, same name, same size. I’m thoroughly dissatisfied, and disappointed about how they didn’t put any effort into making the Kuntur a mount. They instead just gave me a condor..Version: 1.0.4
