✓ Great AppI'm not a huge Sudoku fan, but this is a great app. The easy level is easy if you're a beginner (like me), haven't tried the harder levels. The game play is simple and intuitive. It loses a star simply because pressing the boxes can be unresponsive - possibly a symptom of their small size (not much the dev can do about that given the nature of the game) - maybe somehow making bigger number boxes at the bottom could help. Other than that, I highly recommend this game. For those who don't know how to play Sudoku - you have to fill in the grids so that each set of 9 boxes is filled with numbers 1 to 9, but none of the other sets can contain that same number in the same row or column..Version: 0

✓ Inaccurate level labelingPrior to the change of completed games (10 to 12 games), labeling of levels (Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert) was relatively accurate; however, now, they are not. I could do Medium games in a 5-7 minutes, often without using the note function (very handy tool) and no errors, but a “Medium” game I just finished was probably an Expert level as the basic rules were depleted and even looking for pairs did not help much. As a personal indicator, if you finish a level consistently under 10mins, increase the difficulty. Love how you can make notes as to what possible numbers fit in the square. When you make a correct selection, it removes that number from any conflicting possible fields you have marked. There are literally NO ads, so it’s not a money maker for the developer, which may be why there seem to have been no new games added. Two games frequently pop up, which I now skip, because I realized I had memorized them through repetition. Usefull options which can help or chalage you in the game (the show incorrect feature) and the timer is usefull to know how much you improve on a certain level. There are 4 modes: easy, medium, hard and expert and 5 different sudokus for each. Also, for beginers there is a hint feature (in game) which gives you 1 correct number. ✓ GoodThis is a nice puzzle. The layout is effective and the options should be tuneable to suit all tastes, for example timer on or off. The ads are minimum, tried 2 other Sudoku games that kept popping ads in whilst puzzling and distracting my delicate thought processes, they got binned within minutes. This app seems to confine ads to the start page. I am getting paranoid over ads and wonder what we all end up paying for a "free" app. Perhaps some system needs to be put in place by Apple for each app to indicate the level of bytes we can expect via ad costs, most of us wouldn't mind at the few cent/pence level but looking at the Smurf game reviews the iPad/iPhone seem vulnerable and one can easily face charges without knowing, we need to push for more understanding and/or control on what we end up being taxed for ads. ✓ Good game with one annoying bugThe gameplay is great, quick and intuitive. I'm pretty quick at the game, and the interface never gets in the way. My only complaint is the advertisement on the main page. I have no problem with the developer wanting to make a bit of money from the app, but if the device is connected to a network but NOT to the internet (sometimes my internet connection dies), it'll just hang on the startup screen. It feels awfully self-serving to prevent me from using your app just because you want to make a dime. However, it works fine when the device isn't connected at all, so you can turn off WiFi temporarily in your settings if you're having problems launching the app. As well, one of the recent updates hid the top bar with clock, network status, and battery life. I'm not sure why they'd do it as the saved space really isn't used for anything useful, but it is annoying because I often play a game or two while I'm killing time waiting for something, and having to quit the app just to check the time is a pain. You can resume where you left off, but it's just an extra inconvenience for no reason. One thing that would be cool is a radial menu, where you can tap and hold on a square, then stroke up/down/left/right to select a number. It would make games, particularly the easier levels, a lot faster. I'd also like to see a Karuko version by the same developer, since all of the Karuko apps around here that I've tried are much harder to use..Version: 0

✓ Please fix bugs!I really enjoy playing sudoku, and it's great to have a sudoku game on my phone. this version is okay in terms of design, the graphics aren't fantastic, etc., but... good news and bad news. the good news is that some bugs from previous versions have been fixed. also, unlike some other sudokus, this one automatically does "housekeeping" on the board - when you fill in a square, it removes the pencil marks that you no longer need. the bad news: it's (still) buggy! major problem: resume sometimes doesn't work, so finish your game in one shot or start a new one, and continue after finishing a game will often crash back to the home page, and so will launching the app. so sometimes it takes half a dozen tries to get it going. (i usually "help it" by closing any other apps that i have open.) overall, I like playing it. update: bugs seem to be fixed (switch to faster iphone and latest ios, 7.1, probably didn't hurt either), but input sometimes doesn't register correctly (i miss the square) or not at all (can take up to 5/6 taps). don't know if it's the phone, or ios, or design (size and shape of target), or bugs in the app? slows down my times, but i still like playing it..Version: 1.10

I’ve had this app a very long time and play so often I’m usually trying to break my average speed. Features I like, format and graphics are easy on the eyes, the duplicate hint markers disappear when the same number is solved in the same block or columns, and this game doesn’t count wrong moves if you happen to fat finger a number by accident. ✓ Nice App!This is a great app considering it's free. You get to play different levels of sudoku's in your own choice of coloured backgrounds. When your iPhone is locked, the timer pauses for you and you can also change the options, for example you can choose whether or not it can show you if you get one incorrect. ✓ Best free Soduko App I've foundFour levels of difficulty, but only a limited number of puzzles. Some nice feature options: choice of color schemes, correct/incorrect indicator, and 'notes' which puts small numbers (for possibilities) on a 3x3 grid in each box which are then erased as each possibility is eliminated. Would like an 'automated entry' feature which would automatically enter the last remaining possibility in a box. What I mean is that 'notes', the possibilities you entered in each box, are reduced as they are eliminated by other boxes being solved, but when only one possibility remains you must manually enter it as your solution for that box. I want the option for the final possibility to enter itself, so that they would 'fly', reducing the tedium of the 'hunt and peck' of doing them one by one - after all you already went through that making the 'notes'..Version: 2.0
