✓ AddictiveHad this game on my iPhone and iPad for several years. They continue to update and improve. Very rarely crashes. You can buy additional course packages, so, if and when you get bored with your current courses.....voila.....you have a bunch of new courses to play. Just like the real thing you have to decide whether to lay up or go for it....Draw or fade......backspin....it's all there. ✓ Fantastic game!!!!!Believe me I've tried them all. This is the best golf app out there. No other golf app has the ability to shape your shot like this one. It is the only app that I have purchased everything available. Being left-handed I appreciated the upgrade where they allowed the golfer to be left-handed. The only thing I haven't bought is the extra Mulligan pack because I think that would be cheating. If I do have one critique it is what's up with the overhead view of the hole? That's a nice feature but useless because the clouds cover what you're trying to look at. I've played close to 300 rounds and I usually play as a foursome so that'll tell you that I do play this game a lot. Only other suggestion would be to upgrade the graphics. If this game could look like the course you're playing, (i.e. that other game WGT) Despite the low resolution blocky graphics, I will play this game forever..Version: 2.540
✓ Did I do the right thing!Actually this is probably not a good app to download cos it's so bloody addictive Spend time every day playing, if only a couple of holes and I've had this app for over one year. Slight problems where you hit the trees when it appears you have aimed perfectly also dropping in the water on some holes makes for some stupid scoring as ball stays in the water. The score board needs to allow for a double figure hole on the back nine if you are playing a four ball, at the moment the scoring system just goes out of sync, but it doesn't happen on the front nine. Overall though, if there were more stars available, this app would get more from me cos I love it!!!.Version: 0

✓ DOES NOT WORK AT ALL, WHAT SO EVERI bought this app, because I had played the lite version on my computer (not app). For 4.99, I was so ready to play it, but because on the damned people at Nuclear Nova Software, it won't work. In the applications section of itunes it shows that it is there. I tried to sync it but all it wanted to do is not sync it. On devices section in the application section of it, it says that it is there. So I tried to sync it and it starting syncing it, but then it unmarked it. I tired too sync it again and it did not work. So to sum it all up, DO NOT BUY THIS APP IT IS A TOTAL WASTE. ✓ This is a great gameThe more I play this game the more I like it. The graphics are not state of the art but it doesn't matter. They are good enough to make the game enjoyable to play. The game is easy to play on the easy level. When you get really good at that level you can make it harder. The controls are very intuitive and the sound effects are really cool. I love when you get a shot very close to the hole and the crowd all goes "woooooo". I highly recommend this game. It is my favorite so far. And, by the way, I saw some people complaining about not having a grid on the putting green. It has been added since that review..Version: 0
✓ Good, if simple gameThis game is a bit buggy. That doesn't mean it is unplayable. In fact it is strangely addictive! That is if you like golf games which I do. The graphics are low res, the birds eye view of each hole is much too fast so you don't always know what the hole is really like until you play it. All that said and if the developers put a bit more work into it this game could be first class. One real problem is that if you want more clubs you have to buy them with REAL money. The same is true for other courses, which is not such a bug. One obvious bug is that I keeping seeing a thin blue line that goes across the far distance not distracting but a bug that should have been sorted before it was put on sale. I have other more expensive golf games but I have to say that I keep coming back to this one as the way you take your shots is more console like and I am used to it! I am not a golfer but a game player. If you like a simple golf game to pass some time then you could do worse. To the developers: My review seems to swing from like to dislike and that is because you have not sorted the game out properly. Do that and I would give it a big ten out of ten. Update please. It seems that with the updates the graphics have gotten slower and much grainer and not as fluid as they used to be. ✓ .At $8 I feel like I payed a little too much. The gameplay is great and the graphics get the job done well. I wish they would implement stat tracking in a future update. I've spent hours with this game and have really enjoyed myself aside from a few instances when attempting to putt on hills. I may be dreaming but I would also love to see some local wifi and real wifi multiplayer added in an update. Even though the four player multiplayer works just fine passing the device around. I can style my shots, select clubs & play a few different courses without getting bogged down in player selection, conditions, and learning subtle tricks to make the game work. Graphics are decent, need to be careful on what club to use, had this for a long time and I always go back to this game, even after better games out there. Naturally you have to purchase courses but no big deal, you can get along with what the game provides, go a while. Never crashe, but after an upgrade, better looks on the first page, somehow I went back to the original page I had prior upgrade. Can,t explain. The graphics are pretty good, you can choose the clubs you want, and putting is very detailed with hills, so you have to aim the ball in the right direction and use the right speed. The power bar took a minute to get used to, but then worked really great. This game is definately worth the $8, and is probably the best golf game in the store. Only drawbacks are that there is no actual golfer holding the club (it's just a floating club in the air) and it can be a little difficult to tell where you are aiming. Nuclear Nova Software, I found that game crashes are not COMPLETELY fixed... there are still occasional crashes from time to time. Also, keep an eye on Beauregard Country Club; at the end of the course, I once experienced a bug after finishing it and the game froze for a minute and..., guess what? I found myself back at Hole 1, AUTOMATICALLY! It was weird. There is a mistake you made for the new course, "Short Shot." In the store, it is titled as "Longshot." Which is it? I am confused! I suggest that you add weather effects to the game: Ideas: Rain: The ball rolls less. Sunny: Normal effects. Cloudy: Higher chance for stronger winds. Stormy: The ball rolls even less. Snowy: The ball rolls more. Foggy: Harder to see surroundings. Drizzle: The ball rolls a bit less. Severe storms: Very windy, the ball rolls very little. Blizzard: Moderately windy, the ball rolls a lot more. Sandstorm: Very hard to see surroundings, the ball gets buried in bunkers, the ball is hard to hit on all terrains. Lots of courses and more on the way, so this game is never "finished". Internet scoring means you always have something better to shoot for. Just one question: Would it be possible to make an update that keeps a "personal best" list for like farthest drive, longest putt and DEFINITELY include a "Best Par for 'X' Course" where X is the name of the specific course. Just two problem: Some times when putting I lose sight of the hole due to the rendering, would it be possible to leave the flag in until you are a certain distance from the hole? Sometimes on the drive I cannot see the flag all the time. This is in the same vein as the above statement. These are not major hinderances in fact I have only experienced the putting problem once in about 50 holes, but the driving issue occurs about once every 10-15 holes. THIS SHOULD NOT KEEP YOU FROM GETTING THE GAME! It is worth AT LEAST 5 stars it is EXCELLENT..Version: 0

✓ Almost perfect.So addicting. I don't even play real golf. After the recent update, screen hiccupps during the power up for a shot. Kinda aggravating. Would of course like to see more courses. Wish the ball would react to terrain a little more realisticly. Like, when I am four feet from a tree, the ball shouldn't hit the tree. When I putt uphill on a right bank slope, the ball shouldn't "coast" uphill for 3 yards. Other than that, it's perfect. Love this game. Buy it!!!.Version: 0
