✓ Feature missingEnjoyed the lite game. So purchased the full version only to find out that a very handy feature "Auto Zoom out on end Turn" was disabled in the full version but enabled in the lite version!! We buy the full version based on the lite and expecting it to have all the Lite's features and more. If you patch this very soon then great else this is not right Sean..Version: 0
✓ Automatic upgrade and can't revert!As a hardcore slay player since the Pocket PC days I was shocked to see the new theme and layout with no way of my familiar UI. I have stopped playing Slay on my iPhone and have switched to my iPad where I have the old version installed. Please provide an option for the old UI ASAP - this one is not good for exisitng players!.Version: 3.0
✓ Great game, not a fan of update for iPhone XI’ve been a longtime fan of this game and have put many hours into it, but am i satisfied with the update for the iPhone X. While the vertical stretch seems like a good thing, the map and unit displays have not been scaled larger properly and leave you stretching very far to reach and makes it more difficult to read the map. Overall still a great game, but some things are left to be desired..Version: 4.4
✓ Update should be optionalNever have I been more disappointed with an update. Such a great game. It's pure strategy and every game is winnable. Unfortunately, the latest update makes it very very difficult to understand what's happening on the screen. The extremely basic graphics of the previous version of made the distribution very clear, hence making your options very clear. If people prefer the new graphics well that's great for them but there should be an option to allow the user to choose the old version of the graphics. Very disappointed..Version: 3.0

✓ Almost as good as before...Love this game, hate the new graphic. The problem with the new graphic is that they are too complex which makes it hard to have a global view. Although I am grateful for the ability to keep the old top view I suggest adding old graphics as an option... Or seriously review the new graphic to make them as easy to read as before..Version: 3.1

✓ Don't waste your moneySeriously this game is the worst I got this game when it was free thankfully Don't waste your time the developer needs a smack. The trees are so out of control and only grow on the players spots. Never on the AI spots Your guys die if you put to many on a small amount of spots but the AI can have nothing and still keep the top men Spend your money on anything but this game. ✓ Better but still not fixedThis was simply of the best games on the app store, until it was ruined by version 3. Since the outcry a that horrendous 'up-date' the developer has listened and added support for users to play in a more pre-3.0 style. BUT it is still nowhere near as good as it was. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just give us a switch that will turn off all the 3.0 features and turn everything back to the way things were. It was so much better, and you can guarantee all the negative reviews will be revised to the 5-satrs they were before the 3.0 update! I know mine will straight away. ✓ Please bring back old graphics!!After months of negative reviews it's still not possible to select the old graphics...I'm rolling back my original rating of five stars to one. I've stopped playing because the current graphics are so off putting. ........................... Like many others I think this game is addictive and the best strategy game I've found for the iPad - hence the five stars. However also like many others I have found the new graphics totally off putting even with isometric hexagons turned off. It was not broken before so no 'fix' was required. ✓ Version 5.3.1 ColorsThe new colors are awful: neon green is never the answer. That color palette is called classic for a reason. On the bright (neon) side, it does improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Maybe you could change back the classic color scheme and create a new one for accessibility..Version: 5.3.1
✓ Bring back the old style!As others have noted, we seasoned slay players are so off put by this new, unplayable isometric layout that my almost daily fix of slay will be no more. Apart from smoother scrolling, everything about this update is hideous. When I saw that revamped graphics were included in the update I got quite excited. The clunky retro graphics were the only thing letting the game down. But what have you done? You've managed to make it look worse, and on top of that, the new layout means it is almost impossible to get a good overview of the map. You've taken a great game and trashed it. Please put a setting to revert to previous map styles at least. It's 2012 with retina display. Come on. Seriously?.Version: 3.0

✓ If it ain't broke, don't fix it...The game itself is great. A really great little game that I have played for more years than I care to remember, on PC, Palm PDA and now the iPod. I always missed the option from the Palm version to select the size and difficulty of the island independently of each other. But no matter, you just keep replaying the same few islands if you want a quick game to kill a few minutes. This last update however will see me play Slay no more. The revamped graphics have destroyed the 'visibility' of the game layout and position of play. Whereas previously you could easily see and plan your next move, this update has managed to destroy that. The lack of an option to revert to the original graphics is truly unforgivable. A once great game, destroyed by a shoddy update.Version: 3.0

The new update made the graphics worse on iPad, it's now hard to play, the spaces are hard to see, graphics hurt my eyes, it's hurting my ability to play the game. ✓ Great concept but...I have played this game for years and I used to love it. It does not appear that the developer has put much effort into improving it for a few years now. The AI is not that smart. I am stomping through Master level and I have done some interesting experiments and the game logic breaks down if you run a map too many turns. ✓ Love the game, like the updates, BUT features removedLove the game, it's one I always come back to. And I like the features you've added. BUT this update removes features I use a lot - landscape mode especially for when I'm on the iPad, plus the overview of all the islands. It's a real pain having to laboriously go through the letters to get to the one you want. And I really appreciate the ability to quickly see where I'm up to progressing through the islands, I don't do an entire letter group at a time. Add these two back and you'll get 5 stars - until then I'll see if I can revert to the previous version. ✓ Getting thereThis is a wonderful strategy game at heart, 5 stars truly, but patch 3 really ruined the simplicity and charm of the game. Last two mini updates are helping (back up to 3 stars), but the unnecessary thick, dark shading on hex tile borders makes it look like you're fighting over the Giant's Causeway, and your eyes have to work that much harder to visualise territories at a glance compared to before. More sound options too please. The sound for switching territories and picking and placing units is good and very useful feedback for your actions. The new sounds on the cpu player's turn, especially the tree growing, the starvation death and the "mwahahaha!" sounds when units are killed, however, should be optional as they get irritating, REAL quick. Getting there, and appreciate the effort to act on feedback, but would still recommend reloading/staying with pre-3 backup from iTunes, if you have it, as it's less of a strain (=more fun) on eyes and ears. >.<.Version: 3.2
✓ Awesome game. Needs fixing.Too many bugs. Resources don't add up correctly on many levels. Your resources often return to zero even if your capital isn't destroyed. AI needs fewer territories to create new peasants or sustain Spearmen. AI Spearmen cost 6 but can be sustained with only 3 spaces(after destroying the Capital). Super frustrating. Many levels you cannot even move until the AI is too powerful. When the level is balanced and you can actually use strategy this game is awesome. But too many levels that you have to make perfect moves that make no sense or the AI will gang up on you..Version: 4.3.1

✓ Still not great.Thanks for the quick update so the isometric hexes can be turned off but it's just not enough in my opinion. It's still far too busy with poor sounds and indistict colours.
