✓ Great game But extremely slow!!!I love this game but at times it is extremely slow. It takes computer 4-5 seconds to move. In a game that takes possibly hundreds of moves it's hard to concentrate when it moves slow and choppy. I finally figured out that the game is slow before the next iOS update. Once the phone is updated the game works perfectly for a few weeks then it starts to slow down and eventually you can’t play it and have to wait for the next iOS update. But otherwise an awesome game!.Version: 2.0.4
✓ Good game but...I've been waiting forever for someone to make this game, I even thought about making one myself, this one is a good one, but it needs 2 player mode/multiplayer. It gets old playing the computer everytime! Please have an update where you can play online against human players and it's a 5 star game EASY!!!.Version: 0
✓ Great board game, rubbish AppIf u've never played Stratego before u should be aware that there's no instructions. Sound effects are poor. A statistics page would be good so u can see how many games have been won or lost. For the price this is a complete rip off when u consider what other apps u could buy for the price..Version: 0
✓ Bad updateAfter update it is starting up correctly but is very very slow. On a iPad 2. Please roll it back to the reversion. The last update ruined my favorite game. Please roll it back. ✓ Good idea, now improveGood game but it needs the basics like an easy, medium and hard option. Instead of squares have people and instead of lower the better how about higher so when there's one person moving for the 1 square and 9 people in the 9 square. Also have more than that map because its a bad map never mind needing to deal with it every time!Just some of the many ideas needed for this app. Probably you shouldn't buy until there has been some improvements..Version: 1.50

✓ Computer has several advantagesThe player cannot repeat a move 3 times, yet the computer is allowed to repeat its moves. Computer seems to know where the bombs are placed and will avoid hitting them. Please correct these issues..Version: 0
✓ No interestThis game have no interest. That's a perfect exemple of why apps should have a "money back" function or "trial period" cause I bought it 10mn ago to uninstall it now for ever. If you are looking for good strategy games, have a look to some Strategery, Risk, Conquest Europe, etc... But let "the general" or you will have this feeling to have wasted money in your day :-( In case you really, really, really want to spend your money in that game : it's not buggy, sounds are good (1 sound which repeat each 2 seconds, but good), and you have a good touch response, it's fast, not laggy. So after that don't come crying "I want my money back", you had my comment before buying, so "try" it at you own risks. Thanks for reading..Version: 1.50
✓ Bad update, good gameRegarding most-recent update: why is the game so slow now? The new animations are not an improvement. Everything worked much more smoothly in the prior versions. Regarding the game generally, here is my initial review: I had this game on my old Windows Mobile phone years ago and loved it -- by far the game I played the most on that phone. I was hoping someone would port a Stratego clone to the iPhone (and now the iPad) and, sure enough, here it is. Woo-hoo!!! This game is perfect for people who love strategy turn-based war games. It can be played in about 5 minutes, which is ideal for a phone game. The goal is to capture the enemy's flag before it captures yours. The trick is that you can't see what any of the enemy's pieces are: the piece you're about to engage could be the general (#1) or a lowly scout (#9). Lower numbers defeat higher numbers, so surprise is a key element in the game. The AI here is pretty good: challenging, but not enough to frustrate you to the point where you don't want to play anymore. It's fun to come up with different placement strategies (the game comes with about 20-30 different pre-set placements to choose from, but it's more fun to devise them on your own). ✓ Sean come back to usI too used this app for many years and have been a fan so Sean since early 2000 when Slay came out. This version needs to be rolled back ASAP. Opponent pieces don't appear except for the 1. Also went to the forums and they appear dead no updates on there either since several years ago..Version: 2.0
✓ Needs loads of work...Stratego is an amazing game... But this is an unfortunate and unworthy iPhone version of the classic. This game needs to embrace the potential of iPhone graphics, and make the battleground more interactive and more visually striking. Being able to zoom into the board would make the tiny pieces easier to manage. The ai is not i enough and the game should have an optional two player mode. For £2.50 this game is well short of the mark and even though I love stratego the board game, I regret this purchase. Avoid unless this game gets upgraded!.Version: 0
✓ Been there, done thatNice game, but after playing it about 5 or 6 times you realize that the computer uses the exact same starting positions for it's men every single game. Not knowing where each of his players are would make it much more enjoyable to play after the initial few times..Version: 0

✓ Needs a fix, quick!Played the gave every day, until the 2.0 upgrade!😩 First time playing after the 2.0, the game would not start correctly, both on the iPad and iPhone. Had to delete and re-install. Then quickly discovered that the game pieces move Extremely S L O W! In addition, the opponent makes moves that are not too smart such as chasing the #1 piece with the Spy and allowing the #1 to take out the Spy. Or striking a game piece that has not been identified yet with their #3'and landing on a bomb! Thought that ap upgrades were to make it better, not worse! ✓ Fix the bug that doesn't allow you to switch pieces at start.Just like the great game I remember except the glitch that doesn't let you move pieces at the beginning. If you can't fix that after buyers of your app have asked for it for months, then you need to drop your price or stop making apps or even better make an update that fixes the main beef everyone has with your app. Once that's fixed it's a 4 or 5 star app..Version: 0
