✓ App crashes after 30 secondsI was purchasing each issue through this app, but since November 2021 it crashes every time I open a purchased issue. No updates to the app for 2 years so I stopped. I can’t get the hard copy locally and an international hard copy subscription is ridiculously expensive. ✓ Can’t view purchased editionsUpdating previous review: repeated emails to as many email addresses at Conde Nast as I can find have gone unanswered. Thus, I have reduced the rating to 1 star and cancelled my subscription. Firstly, I’d like to state that this is a great magazine, and I have purchased many editions for the iPad. However, after the most recent update to the App, I can’t access any of the previously bought editions. In fact, it seems that all I can do is to re-purchase them! ✓ Great Magazine, Terrible AppWhy terrible? No benefits of reading a magazine digitally as you find with Architectural Digest. Layout is exactly as it would appear in the print version but sometimes isn’t even aligned properly with blank gaps at the top or bottom of the page. Do they not have anyone proofreading the digital edition? Magazine often seizes and freezes up so that I have to delete the app and start again. You also can’t select issues to delete from device. I subscribe to Vogue and AD for iPad and never have any of these problems. H&G must not have much management support for digital improvements or everyone just assumes H&G’s stodgy old readers don’t care about a digitally amateurish production. Maybe I am the only one. Finally, all the other magazines I subscribe too are way cheaper when you subscribe than to purchase individual issues. The opposite is true with H&G! No discount at all with a subscription. So I just buy and download a copy when I think of it every few months. That must not be helping the bottom line or is it a point of pride that nobody at the magazine cares about the finances of running things? I guess they will care if the magazine goes under, though — or maybe not..Version: 33.2

✓ HalvedWhen you buy the magazine there is no indication that you can only view a single page at a time. I.e. You cannot view any double page spreads. Which means if you are using a larger tablet you miss out on the full impact..Version: 33.0

✓ Should be 'zero' starMay 2017... Don't upgrade this app... I did and lost all historic purchases. Conde Nast say it's 'nothing do with us, contact iTunes, although it clearly says in the app you can access past purchases. You can't. Typical unfriendly customer service at Conde Nast... May 2016...This app, along with House & Garden customer service is beyond abysmal. Having purchased a subscription (hard & digital) I'm told that the hard copy is 'sold out'. Ok but don't take the customers money if you haven't got the goods. Having purchased back copies, they don't appear in the app. Email after email, (each one answered by a different person giving conflicting advice) so that's a waste of my time. In a previous issue there were, or should have been, some rather nice postcard included. I didn't get any and on enquiring why was told 'I know nothing about postcards with this issue'. Rubbish! The following email said 'sorry, we've run out of the cards'. But subscribers get their copies before they are on the newsstands, so -Keane explain this anomaly! None was forthcoming! A wonderful magazine, crap app and even crappier customer service. What a shame.Version: 33.0
