✓ Too shortLinear is fine but the mechanics are really basic. Can't believe how short this is also, I would not recommend until there's at least another 20 levels..Version: 1.1.2
✓ Not worth your timeI remember as a kid playing wonder putt on the computer it was one of my favorite games, I saw it in the App Store and I knew I had to try it again. When you first open the app it asks you to subscribe, then once you start playing the game about every 3 holes it pops up again asking you to subscribe, then once you get to the ninth hole you cannot progress further in the game until you subscribe I’m okay with the ads but not letting me play a game that takes 15 minutes to complete without subscribing just don’t download the game it isn’t worth it.Version: 1.1.9

✓ Not “free”.This game was previously available for £0.99. It now seems to have been sold to “GameClub” meaning it’s only available via a subscription to their service which costs $4.99 every MONTH, even if this is the only game you play. Without a subscription, downloading this “free” app gets you nothing but a login screen. If I’d have known this was coming I would have purchased the game a few weeks ago. It’s extremely disappointing to see that the actual developer of the game has sold out to a model like this — by doing so they’ve essentially ensured that I’m never going to play their game..Version: 1.1.5

✓ Very entertaining at firstThis is a great little game at first, but the fact that there is only course to play means that it gets a bit dull and samey fairly quickly. The app is crying out for more courses to be added. ✓ Used to be a good gameI just spent some time trying to play Wonderputt. Since I bought it so many years ago, I only got a medium sized push to go to the new subscription format. Now I’m glad that I didn’t because some time in the last few years, gameplay has worsened. If you are blocked behind you like on the 10th hole, you can’t have a long enough backswing to clear the water. I seem to remember a “give up” prompt if you go over so many strokes. That seems to be gone as well. An impossible hole with no obvious way to bypass equals zero fun. There seems to be a lot of positive reviews so I guess I just don’t get it anymore. Controls are very finicky (sometimes not letting you take a shot if the power/direction bar is too close to the edge of the screen). ✓ Tried to Shove Sub Down Your ThroatFirstly, the first time you open the game it tries to force you into subscribing, seemingly giving no option go opt out until you press suscribe and a small skip button appears on a corner of the screen. Then every few holes it tried to get you to sub. Game is not 3d, they try to simulate a 3d environment and quite frankly its extra work and looks bad because the textures are low res. In addition to this, due to the aforementioned simulation, the mechanics feel extra wonky..Version: 1.1.9
