Help plzThis game was amazing the the teaser screenshot at the end wasn't working. I only saw "Their" face not the rest of their body please fix this..Version: 1.2.0

Changed my lifeThis game is still the best game ive ever played finished 100% on the ds and now doing it all again on my ipad only downside is you cannot "mingle" with anyone on the ds has to be the game on ipad/iphone if this was fixed it would get 110% from me PLEASE UPDATE!!.Version: 1.1.0

WHERE IS FINAL FANTASY VIII?!FINAL FANTASY VIII. GIVE IT. YOU REMASTERED IT. GIVE. US. THE. GAME..Version: 1.2.5

The World ends with this Game!Off the bat I think I should state the DS version was and still is my favourite DS of all time. With this in mind you can understand my scepticism when I heard it was coming the iOS, my main concern being that there is only one screen. I am pleasantly surprised not only am I enjoying reliving the experience on a larger screen I'm actually enjoying the single screen gameplay more so that the DS version! The extra songs are amazing and a welcomed variance! A solid welcome to my iPad game collection..Version: 1.0.0

Amazing!I have a huge obsession with this game, and when I found out there was a remastered type of version for the iPad I jumped right on it! The graphics are beautiful, and being able to replay one of my favorite games on a bigger screen is truly amazing. TWEWY is addicting for the Nintendo DS but now for the iPad it just makes me even crazier lol. The game does seem to be pricey, but trust me it is well worth it! Something to get used to is the partner combat. Considering there is only one screen: you only play on ONE screen (personally I find it easier to keep track of) but like I said it takes some getting used to. If you love this game like I do, which is A LOT, then I highly recommend purchasing it for an iPad. I don't really know what it would be like for the iPhone but I know it is a really great experience for the iPad. If I could give it more stars I would give an infinite amount, maybe I'm bias because I love this game so much, but take my word for it when I say it's one of the best apps I've ever purchased! The story is exactly like the DS version but with crisper graphics! This app was a great idea, and like I read in a previous comment maybe it's hinting at a TWEWY 2!! -Kiana<3.Version: 1.0.0

Best gameI've owned every console and played hundreds of games on different genres and I have to say twewy is far ahead of them. I bought this game on ds the first day it came out and loved it. I think I'm in the minority when I say I like the ipad version better than the ds because A) I actually played it and not an apple hater b) bigger screen C) the game changes a little bit since you're using one screen instead of two. Most people will say that the ds is better because of the dual battle screen system but its really not that good compared to the ipad version. You actually get to control your partner instead of putting them on auto. The story line and gameplay are great whether you're a new comer or have played this before. Since I haven't played this in 4 years it felt like new to me again. I loved the surprises, boss battles, collecting the pin, food system, and even the shopping concept. You can play twewy straight on with the story for 20 hours straight or take your time battling noise and upgrading your characters for 30-50 hours. The game is very simple to use and there were no headaches through out the whole thing. The story line will make you play more and more. Next thing you know, you've been playing for 4 hours straight. This is a must buy game for everyone. I think the game used to be $40 so $20 is cheap. Don't compare this to any other $1 or $5 game out there. This game is better than most Xbox/ps3 games out there and it is well worth it..Version: 1.0.0

Thank you!Finaly, can play this game in ios8!.Version: 1.2.1

Good but feels unfinishedThe World Ends With You translates well to the iPad, but there are a couple issues sticking in my craw enough to justify a review. Specifically, cutscenes run at the same resolution as the original DS game, leaving characters and text looking jaggy and bad. For a $20 app I'd expect the game to have the very best presentation possible. I've also had some frustration moving Neku around during combat without triggering psychs, but it's a minor complaint next to resolution issues. The game is still great though. If you can look past upsetting graphical issues then it's probably worth your $20. Unless you'd rather buy the game used on DS that is..Version: 1.0.0

One of the best games ever createdThis is my second favorite game of all time (the first is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time). This game is a port of the Nintendo DS version (the only game I've ever bought more than one copy of), with some new features added since it was originally released five years ago. The story, art, and music (oh, the music!) are all some of the best in the entire video game industry, and it's simply a crime to miss out on this title now that it's available on such popular devices as the iPhone and iPad. There isn't another game like it..Version: 1.0.0

Great game but how to get mingle except Bluetooth?I really love the gameplay and story, it is probably the best game ever on iPad. Controlling is nice except it's really hard to draw circles and scratching... I haven't seen the pins which need to shout to iPad yet but lets see how It goes. The problem is i can only play multiplayer game with Bluetooth and there aren't any fellow players nearby... It will be good if the multiplier game can be played using Internet and wifi, or with the NPCs like in DS....Version: 1.0.0

Good game but...I really liked the game but there are a number of problems. First the game crashes from time to time. Second some of the one time quest item went missing! Is the latter a bug or is there a way to recover the item?.Version: 1.2.1

Worth it. Amazing game.Title says it all. -For those who are familiar with the DS version- Do not try and do the time travel cheat. I tried it and went a year ahead. Now i am not receiving any SDPP when I'm off the game. (Only way to get SDPP is to continue changing the date or waiting for the amount of years/months/days you changed).Version: 1.0.0

Great gameI loved this on the DS and its been just as enjoyable to play on an iPad. Im a 35 year-old female and far from the target audience, I'm sure. But I had a great time playing it anyway. It isn't retina display, but the redrawn graphics are still nice. I actually like the redone battle mechanics better on the iPad version as compared to the original. It's one of the few games that has kept my interest to "beat" it and I plan to continue on with collecting pins and wandering around in game for fun. I loved everything about it. Hopefully they will make a sequel. :).Version: 1.0.0

You guys are amazing! This is honestly such a fantastic translation of the game onto the iPad. Now that it works on iOS8 I can finally play one of my favourite games ever :).Version: 1.2.1

Best game on iOSFor those of you new to The World Ends With You: For those of you who don't know this was a sleeper hit on the Nintendo DS quite a few years back. It received massive critical acclaim both for its amazing art and incredible gameplay. It is by the same development team as the Kingdom Hearts franchise, and has the same amount of polish seen in those games. For those of you who played the original release: This is not the same game as the one on the DS. Sure it is the same story, same characters, same map, but the port to the iPad is nothing short of astounding. ALL the sprites have been completely redrawn, the combat system has been completely reworked, offering an entirely new experience for the seasoned TWEWY veteran..Version: 1.2.1

Great game but is 2.3gbCertainly don't confuse this for a run of the mill iOS game, this is a genuinely interesting and unique gaming experience, and well worth it's 20$ price. However Square Enix does need to learn to be a little more honest with its customers, the game is 2.3gb after install which is more than four times it's advertised size (that I assume refers to the download size pre-install). That and as far as we're hearing the game is not genuinely retina display. Still the graphics are very pretty and the game is well worth a 5 despite the above negative points..Version: 1.0.0

New iPad users beware... Only if you can't readThe features of this game pretty explicitly state that the retina graphics are only for the iPhone4 and up... Which means NOT the iPad. I'm not sure why people are giving this bad reviews based on the fact that their reading comprehension is terrible. I bought it for the New iPad knowing how to read and knowing that it's not retina display enhanced for the iPad. This is an awesome game, one of the best that SquareEnix has put out, and it remains awesome on the iPad. The price tag is high, but it's well worth it for an amazing game that performs really well on the iPad..Version: 1.0.0

A very worthy remakeI am honestly enjoying this more on iPad than I did the original release on DS. The game's art looks beautiful on the larger screen. Perhaps the sprites aren't all updated for the retina display on iPad, but I haven't noticed. They are clearly way higher detail than on DS. I like that they got rid of the need to control Neku and his partner on different screens with different control schemes simultaneously. Battles in the first release were not meant for humans. However, it is odd that they chose to make your partner function like another pin, as this adds its own problems with command overlap..Version: 1.0.0

Fantastic port....BUT, where's the sound?Absolutely fantastic visuals a real testimony to the DS hit, though I have only one problem I HAVE NO SOUND, it's beyond me on how to fix this issue, tried all the simple things, I think it's on the app's side. Appart from that. Highly recomend it if you loved the DS game..Version: 1.0.0

Best Game Ever! This is one of the best games I have ever played and I have played it many times on the DS. The iPad version is awesome looking and the game play is great. In rebuttal to what someone wrote earlier about how they lost their save game file when they switched iPads, I have also switched iPads twice and I did not lose my save game file, so I'm sorry but it must have been something you did wrong. Besides this game is so fun to play, I would have no problems with starting over from scratch. The game is a little expensive but well worth it for the replay value, there are so many pins to collect. You get the full game for the price with no "in-game purchases" that seem to cost you money at every turn or time limitations. Buy this game and you won't be sorry..Version: 1.1.0

FantasticWhat a fantastic games one of the greats haha highly recommend to anyone.Version: 1.1.0

Fantastic! This is my favourite ds game of all time and is fantastic on iPad! Great port and nice to see square enix have put some thought and effort into it, a little pricy but an original ds copy ain't cheap either. The reworked single screen combat works well and all runs smooth, a few moans about it not being retina but on new iPad I think it looks good 'bout a thousand times better than the original. My only real beef with this is it's not a universal app, shows how greedy square enix are!.Version: 1.0.0

It’s a masterpieceSince it finally got updated to work on ios 13, I can finally resume playing and give it the true rating it deserve. This is one of the flashiest RPG available on mobile, amazing music(even if it is nonsensical), great story, solid touch controls and soon to get an anime adaptation so it’s the best time to go to Shibuya..Version: 1.2.5

Great Game!I have never played this game before I purchased it on my iPad 2, and I am deeply impressed. This game kinda reminds me of Persona 3/4, with the modern environments and music. The artwork is very colorful, the sprites look very well drawn, and the overall graphics are supurb. I also enjoy the music to the game, which is surprising because I'm not a big fan of japanese music. The story has enough twists and turns to keep you wanting to play it more. The controls are pretty grand as well, even on an iPad; it takes no time to get used to the gameplay. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase. $20 may be too pricey for a iPad app, but it is definitely worth it..Version: 1.0.0

Love This Game!I have been a TWEWY fan since I picked up the DS version earlier this year and I would have to say the DS version is quite a bit better and more challenging especially the Ultimate Boss. However; this version of the game has saved me countless time from boredom in between lectures. My only real complaint is that Tin Pin is a little slipper where the pins seem to slide as well as rebound further and uncomfortable since I keep using whammies when I didn't mean to, compared to how the DS version has it set up..Version: 1.0.0

So zeta awesome!I beat this game on the DS and I am very happy to see it out on the App Store, I am almost at the end of the first seven days already and I must say, even though there are no changes I am blown away, just as I was when I played the DS version. This isn't a game you play, it's a game you feel, you connect with the characters almost as if your reading a book. The person who reviewed this and said the story line was bad was clearly paid by someone to complain, the music shop isn't something you get at the end of the game you get it in the beginning, so if you want to lie about how amazing a game is at least get you facts strait. I mean really! You can do better than that. Any other bad review less than a 4 was because it wouldn't work on their devise because of the random errors that all apps have If you get this game and play through it you will not regret it, it is simply amazing, and the best part is that there is a mini game within the game that is like bayblades which is awesome! So please don't listen to the negative review that baboon wrote, the info isn't even correct. Play the game for yourself and see how it fares. You will be amazed..Version: 1.1.0

Squenix finally learns how to do a portI feel that this is one of the more ambitious and original RPGs from Squenix over the recent years. Great story (20-25ish hours average and MUCH more for a completionist), unique modern setting and a dope art style. Port wise, the combat is not as complex as the DS version but makes more sense as the characters fight together. There is also additional content and tweaks made to the game such as full music tracks as opposed to the shortened versions on DS. It is expensive, but around the price you would pay for the DS version these days..Version: 1.1.0

Creative but priceySquare finally made a game that wasn't a FF title or any other old franchise. It's refreshing and well made with great gameplay and an amazing Jrock/Jpop soundtrack. This game is very "Japanese" and I was surprised when it was released on the Nintendo DS a couple of years ago. This aspect may actually turn off some western gamers with its effeminate male characters and pastel colours and Japanese nouns. The game takes place in modern Shibuya, THE happening district of Tokyo. The "solo" remix is well done considering the DS version was heavy on the multiple screen dual control scheme and gameplay. But it's done well on the iPad, albeit a little touchy like most iOS touch device games. If you like Japanese culture and JRPGS and games like Shin Megami Tensei this game is for you. It's a colorful and artistic romp though modern day Japan with some super designs and cool concepts. Overall a great game if you can stomach the price..Version: 1.0.0

One of the best games on iOSI played the original on NDS and this one is much more intuitive and engaging due to enhanced gameplay and graphics (thanks to the higher resolution on the iPad). The story is excellent as well..Version: 1.0.0

Definitely pick this one upIf you never played this on DS or even if you did this is well worth the money. Also the inclusion of tracks from the Japanese version and the remix album are awesome.Version: 1.0.0

Screen turns white a stops working properlyWhile the game is fairly stable, it tends to turn white and stops working. And when I restart the app it temporarily solves it not nosing when it could happen. Could you update this app so it supports the latest iOS? It’ll be greatly appreciated, thank you!.Version: 1.2.5

DisappointedIt's forever initializing. Why haven't they updated it by now?.Version: 1.2.0

AmazingThis is one of the best games I've ever played. If you are unsure about buying this game, I strongly recommend you buy it. You will not be disappointed. I didn't own the DS version so I had no idea what to expect going into this, but the story immediately hooked me, and the gameplay is highly addictive. I just finished the game all the way through, and the fun gameplay, the amazing story, and the great visuals make this worth every penny. I hope they release a sequel for iPad as well!.Version: 1.0.0

Brilliant portThe iOS port of The World Ends With You plays just as smoothly as it does on the DS, and the story makes just as much sense without the dual screens. It's an excellent remake of a fantastic game..Version: 1.1.0

This is amazingThis game is the bane of my existence, I bought it once on one Id, and another copy on another Id, and finally the DS version, and still think this is superior. It's an amazing game and recommend it to all. My only problem is I can't get it to open on my IPad, and this really frustrates me. GET THIS FIXED SOON PLEASE!!.Version: 1.2.0

Less frantic than the original, but a well done port nonetheless. One of my favorite games of last generation makes it's iPad debut. Since iOS devices only have one screen a true port is impossible, but this is a great port. The gameplay is not as exciting as the original due to only having to concern yourself with action on one screen, the visuals surpass the original due to the increased real estate of the iPad, never has this game looked better. I do think that it is overpriced (reason for 4 stars instead of 5) for an app but that is par for the course with Square franchises..Version: 1.0.0

Such a good gameMy favourite game on ds game to the ipad!!.Version: 1.2.0

It's not exactly the same, but does it have to be?Loved this game on the DS - and love it now. It's true it isn't quite as frantic without the two screens, but the feeling is still the same. I appreciate the extra features as well! Just a different feel from most games, and more intelligent then most of the mini games you can play on the IPad right now. Its nice to see better and better games coming to the IPad. I hope this is a precursor for TWEWY 2. I saw you in Kingdom Hearts Neku!.Version: 1.0.0

Incredible production values for an IOS RPGFirst, it's really disappointing to see that it's not retina display, it looks a bit pixelated on the new iPad.This said there aren't that many games on IOS of this quality and the rating system is SO screwed on iTunes I can't subtract a star for this. Dual screen gameplay is gone from the DS version, some people will love or loathe this but there are still plenty of swipes and taps to perform and it's a lot of fun. The partner in the solo edition is effectively turned into a pin. Screen input is very responsive and the game runs smoothly. Soundtrack has been remastered and features extra and longer tracks. An effort has clearly been made to upgrade the DS game. Shame that didn't involve iPad retina display support..Version: 1.0.0

AwesomeSome people had troubles with the game but I thought this was one of the best game I've ever played, from the story to the gameplay, love it! :D.Version: 1.0.0

Fantastic implementation on iOSI played this game on the DS, when it launched a while back, and was initially skeptical about how well it would work on the iPad. But Square Enix has done an amazing job. All the controls work beautifully, and there have been a lot of features added too, such as retina display support. The price is a bit steep, but for 25+ hours of gameplay complemented with great storylines and music, it's extremely worth it!.Version: 1.0.0

It's still greatThis game was the only reason I played my DS - in my opinion it's the best RPG since FFVII. I was a bit wary of this remake due to the reworked battling (and the fairly painful price of the game). It isn't quite as good, although a lot of people didn't get along with the original anyway, so I may be in the minority here. The game is still as slickly presented as before and the graphics are certainly much better on the iPad (although still a touch pixelated IMHO). There is a tremendous amount of depth here and I imagine I'm going to get hooked til I have all of the black planets again..Version: 1.0.0

Better on iOSAmazing game, it's even better than the DS version. Better graphics, new songs, and a much less frustrating battle system!.Version: 1.1.0

Totally worth itBrilliant game. Never got around to trying it when it came out on DS years ago, but omg I was blown away after I downloaded this. Story is compelling. Characters are (somewhat, this is based in japan after all) relatable. Soundtrack is so catchy, (I LOOOOVE the main menu song). Gameplay takes a awhile to get used to, but once you get the hang of it you cannot stop playing. Don't be intimidated by the price, this game is a masterpiece..Version: 1.0.0

Nice game. Please provide support for cloud syncing..Version: 1.1.0

FANATASTICI'm glad that I purchased this game! Hours of fun!.Version: 1.0.0

Must buy regardless of price!Square has made one of the greatest RPGs here. They should definitely consider making more games for ios!!!!.Version: 1.0.0

The greatest piece of art to have ever been conceived. This game is incredible. I played the original on DS, and enjoyed every single second. The amount of content in this game is unparalleled by any other on App Store, from Tin Pin Slammer, to Trends, to Another Day, to multiple Pin PP, to sophisticated Pin evolutions, to scanning and imprinting, it is impossible to put this down. The combat is unlike anything I've ever played, it gives you complete customisation, and ensures that every single battle can be different and engaging. Square Enix, as usual, set the benchmark. But perhaps the greatest thing about TWEWY is the story itself. This is not a 'Princess X has been taken, complete X levels to rescue her.' It's a unique plot set within a beautifully drawn Shibuya, a real location in Japan. And every place/area in the game looks exactly like the real world equivalent. The characters are the most compelling and real beings ever written in a game. As you progress, you'll find yourself relating the characters to people in your own life - the writers had a deep and true understanding of the concept of belonging and about life in general. So thank you Square Enix, for delivering as per usual, but also going above and beyond in what could ever be possibly expected from a game. I guess the world really does end with you..Version: 1.0.0

<3Great game.Version: 1.1.0

My favorite app/game since dsNo complaints here love all alround this is #1 game for 15 year sorry about no more details storyline the music tells it all.Version: 1.2.5

Actually pretty goodPlayed the DS version to 100% completion. This is it's own game. Make no mistake, the combat is fun but no where near as visceral or brutal as the DS version. However, the large format of the iPad, new music and the fact that the core story seems untouched means that this can be enjoyed by almost everyone. It's probably a lot friendlier to the iPad generation who may not be accustomed to a proper hardcore game aka the DS version. But for that sweet sweet dual screen, puck passing, controlled chaos that is the cross-stride battle system try the DS version first! Then come play this somewhat more gentle version :) It's good for sure..Version: 1.0.0

Easily worth the cost.Yes the graphics aren't retina. Yes it's way expensive. Yes it's probably the only app on the store worth this price. I don't really play the apps I buy. For 2.99 or 0.99 you'll get a forgettable tower defense or runner game. This here is a full fledged RPG, one that currently ebays for well beyond this price, and one that will actually hook you. Tons of replay value, seriously fun battle system, and I still can't put it down after 20 hours. Here's hoping Square Enix does other quality ports instead of the other garbage like overpriced cell phone Final Fantasy games..Version: 1.0.0

Great port+Great Game=Awesomeness ExplosionTWEWY is one of the best games out there. It has a great story, great visuals, great characters, and the best soundtrack ever. But one of the best things was the combat. The DS combat system was difficult (too difficult for some people) but rewarding. Of course, iPads don't have two screens. So they completely redesigned, rebalanced, and recoded the combat system for one screen, equipment and pins included. And did square do a good job! Long time TWEWY players may not like the new battle system as much as on the DS (partners are a bit less important, since the DS version made both people share HP. Now they are invincible summons), but the system is sound. Square took the extra mile and made the combat feel at home on the iPad where other companies would have left it a bit unrefined. If and when TWEWY 2 is made, I am certain that square will deliver the same quality, and more, than what was given here..Version: 1.2.0

Fix sound please!I'm happy to be able to redownload the game without purchasing it twice. I was so upset when it got removed from the App Store. But when I searched for it again it is now on my iPad air2. Game works fine so far. But sound works only with headphones plugged in. Hopefully this game will not disappear again..Version: 1.2.3

The world ends with youOmg guys this gaming is amazing buy it now.Version: 1.0.0

Update PLEASE!I love love love this game. I love it so much that I refuse to upgrade to ios8, please update for ios8 so we may continue to enjoy this game.Version: 1.2.0

AmazingThis is definitely one of the best games I have ever played and this iOS port is very well done, it surpasses the ds version in my opinion ! The only thing I would suggest adding is support for icloud to keep the saves online since the game takes a lot of disk space..Version: 1.1.0

Great. It's a bit tricky to get use toA strange feel if your use to the ds version but not bad either at least it's fresh from the usual apps, some things are done different that may have many long time fans argue about like the bosses, they take a lot longer to take out and it said better visuals but only some characters and enemies get touched up on, if your new to the series this has less of a difficulty curve I recommend you get this.Version: 1.1.0

Worth every pennyWhat a great game... that's all I can really say about it without giving too much, I'm afraid. I just beat this (got about 35 hours of gameplay from it, give or take 5 hours) and this simply is a great game, owning every element that makes a game great. Gameplay. Music. Story. Theme. Dialogue. Development. And, though I haven't replayed it yet, it seems to have great replay value. But I feel like people who beat it, especially if the theme resonates with them, won't want to play it again for a little while at least, which is a good thing. No, it's not that they'll be sick of it. By the time you beat this game, odds are you'll want some more. The reason one might not replay it immediately is due to the goal of whoever decided upon the theme: a lesson that I'm afraid many people and gamers alike need today. Play it. You'll see what I mean. The world ends with you..Version: 1.1.0

Great change to an old formulaThe fact is even though the graphics are not retina display, they still look superb on the new iPad. The only complaint is that the pin evolution requires you to mingle with players that are hard to come by. All in all, this and maybe the price and not being a universal app,are only a minor in comparison to a great and gorgeous game. The gameplay is one of the best parts of this game. Gone are the traditional antics such as Final Fantasy, with turn-based combat and generic medieval story plots. It has been replaced with a modern-day theme and pins instead of tomes. Of course, that is to be expected from the people that created Kingdom Hearts. (And, speaking of Kingdom Hearts, they placed the main characters of this game into the 3DS game, kind of crazy how that works, right?) I will say, for those that rate this game low because of either price, graphical, or even technical problems, it should not deter you away from this game. As soon as you dive in, you will find you do not want to get out. The World Ends With You is a great addition to the iOS platform. Just hope the sequel is just as good (and on the iOS)!.Version: 1.0.0

Just as good as before.Outside of the retina comments, I'm quite amazed at some of these people 1-starring TWEWY out of the game its self. One guy on here said "it might have been good on crappy consoles"...When you're playing games on a phone or iPad? Are you insane? Another one saying that he didn't like the dialog, when the game is HEAVILY story-based. Honestly, some of you people amaze me. Do some research before you buy. This game is what the app store needs more of. 20$ isn't even that expensive considering the prices for console / PC games nowadays. We know we have the technology, so no more bad Zombie games or Angry Bird; we should see more of this.Version: 1.0.0

StunningI owned this game originally for DS when it was released. I sold my DS and was happy to see this game in the app store. This is probably one of the best games that Square Enix has released in recent years. It has a great story, plenty of twists and turns, characters to love and characters to hate. Plus the music fits directly into the setting of Shibuya, and the soundtrack is stellar by the way. Finally battles. While the Ipad version of this game feels a bit easier initially, this is mainly due to the fact your partner has received a major boost in power. Also the ipad screen makes gameplay much easier when compared to the DS stylus. If you are looking for a game where you can easily invest 30-40 hours of well spent enjoyable time, this game is a excellent choice. If you are wanting something you can pick up and put down again rather quickly, you probably want to pass as you won't be putting this game down anytime soon..Version: 1.1.0

MiraculousIf you never got the chance to play it previously, this is amazing. It's like a perfect blend of Earthbound and Jet Set Radio. Not retina iPad, but still looks awesome....Version: 1.0.0

Best thing Square has made in 10 yearsLoved the DS version, and this iOS one is superior. Excellent soundtrack, art style, story, and gameplay. Complex mechanics that are well introduced and explained. Graphics are vast improvements over the DS version, but aren't quite ipad-retina. Still looks great. A ton of stuff to find, unlock and upgrade. Dozens of hours to beat the story, and literally a hundred hours for completionists. You get what you pay for, and then some- unlike most of square enix's other iOS games..Version: 1.1.0

FantasticThe games was just simply wonderful. I can think of no other flaws but the price itself, but it still was worth it. The game was beautifully recreated and completely different than the original..Version: 1.0.0

Amazing😀😃👳Good Music and graphics. Gameplay is fun, story is very interesting. Dips you right into Shibuya, Japan. Teaches great morals and lessons, Which I love! 😍.Version: 1.0.0

Great Port, Bad SoundtrackThis port is unbelieveable. the battle system is greatly adjusted from the DS to work on a iPad or iPhone, though if I had to choose a version the originals better just because of the mass chaps of passing the light puck and controlling two characters at once! It's funnier on the touch screen to drag the pins and use the attacks with your hands. my only complaint is on the remixed sound tracks. honestly most of them are really distracting and inferior to the original, and it ruined key moments for me in the story when the music would seeming randomly stop and change from the original just to through in a jumbled mess. I update or feature to switch to the original once u beat the game or something would be most appreciated. great port, now just bring us the sequel!.Version: 1.1.0

I love the game, BUT for £13 and 2GB installed ...I expect Retina Display support on my Third Gen iPad. The game looks a little less beautiful when run side by side with a iPad 2 due to the slight pixelation that occurs due to the higher pixel count on the new iPad..Version: 1.0.0

ReviewGameplay - 5/5. Touch-battle is pretty new and interesting compared to usual touch-panel-controlled rpgs that's all over the app store. music - 4.5/5 - "The World Ends with You" is famous for its bgms. they haven't let me down so far. Control - 4/5 - sometimes buggy on certain actions (i.e dash); However, overall, still brings up that chaotic battle from the NDS series in its own way. story - 5/5. In rpgs, one of the most important factor is the story (theme) of the game. Instantly, this game has reminded me of the "persona" series, which I have enjoyed the most in the portable game series. 19.99 for a mobile game could sound a bit overpriced, but it only priced as it is worth. TWEWY has a great post-game experience as well, and is something that you can not let go for a while.Version: 1.0.0

Children need to be quietSo in all aspects of this version, it's worth getting, the game is 90% the same as the DS title, except a few key notes like fusions and interactions of how you play the game... But the iPad is a ONE screen device, so of course changes were necessary to this version. What is irritating however is people who buy this game fully knowing that it's not going to be the entire same game, buy it and complain about the differences about it... I have bought every thing available this game has to offer (in game purchases) and can safely say that I do not regret it in anyway. The graphics are a refreshing taste to my eyes, you can see more of the game since they expanded the screen visuals to fit a larger screen... I don't care if it's truly HD or not because in my opinion look at it like this, the DS has two screens, the iPad has one, so in the aspect of a forced one screen layout, all graphics have essentially been resized to a 400% enlargement and have smooth scaling lines that are easy on the eyes. So in closing, quit acting like children and complaining over small details and enjoy a good game when it's presented to you. P.S. This game is just as awesome as the first version. So buy both if you can and compare them side by side!! P.P.S. The secret boss will be easy if you wimp out and use black planets and fast Lv.3 fusions, try without more then an occasional Lv.1 fusion and a normal deck, it's actually quite thrilling..Version: 1.1.0

Fixed ios8 compatibilityNow please fix DRAKERIDER free edition. I bought all the episode through in app purchase. I can't even launch the game now..Version: 1.2.1

Huzzah!!It's back!.Version: 1.2.1

BrilliantI wasn't a huge fan of the game on DS due to the rubbish touchscreen and small size. Great for kids, not so much for adults. Even on the XL, I had trouble getting it to recognise gestures. On the iPad, the game is phenomenal. I'm obsessed..Version: 1.0.0

Don't think, just buy...especially if you missed it on DS!The price might seem high, but the admission is more than worth it. You'll get one of the buried gems of the Nintendo DS, remastered beautifully for iOS. Game is easily around 30 hours long and has excellent music and an engaging story. Pick it up! Cons: not a universal app, and iPhone version is locked from iPad play. Reccomend buy One version and stick with it..Version: 1.0.0

Best NDS game Is here!!One of the most unique style gameplay. super cool artwork and mostly very rich story!.Version: 1.2.1

A must-buyThis game is, and will always be, one of my favorite games for so many reasons. I received the original version as a gift, and I was thoroughly impressed with just about every aspect of TWEWY. I literally screamed at the top of my lungs with joy when I heard that TWEWY was being integrated into the new KH game. No joke. While I was disappointed that this was announced in lieu of a sequel, I am glad that I bought an updated version of a fantastic game for a decent price. I'm certain that this was at least $40 for the DS back in the day. I really do think that TWEWY is worth every penny that they're asking for here, especially for newcomers to the game. TWEWY has an extremely moving and thought-provoking storyline that emboldens a powerful message. Ishimoto's soundtrack work was eclectically awesome and very effective for the mood of this game. I bought the OST years ago and still listen to it regularly! I was also fond of the comic/ anime sort of art style seen with the graphics. The graphics were not perfect transitioned from the DS to this platform, but its really not that bad. And the gameplay is a lot of fun. Square Enix, I beg you! Please provide us with more TWEWY content in the future! It is my pleasure to support this beautiful game in the meantime. Veteran TWEWY players and newcomers alike, buy this now!!!!!.Version: 1.0.0

Phenomenal!I see what everyone's complaining about now. The letters e's and o's are a little blurry... Seriously people? I've been keeping an eye out for this gem for quite some time and I just happen to be scrolling through games and saw that this was selling for half it's original price?? Bought it in a heart beat! Graphics, story, music are all solid and befitting of a RPG. Controls may take some getting used to. In simple words: I love this game. It's taken 2.4gb of space but its fits perfectly in my collection. Having bought Dead Space, Real Racing 2 and Infinity Blade all for .99 a piece made it easier deleting them just to make room for this baby <3.Version: 1.1.0

So much better without the split screenI played this on the DS. I enjoyed it a lot except for the fact it had the dual person control. This edition fixed that trash and instead just let's me control the main character with the other person being a bonus power. It works a lot better except for the fact I wish I had to click on their pin to start it. I inadvertently start the tag team when I don't want to with the current controls. Other than that the game is great. It is a great action RPG with collection style progression, set in modern day Japan. Skip the fact your character is a headphone wearing dueche-bag to start out as the games more mature tones are about how he changes. It is a steep $20, but well worth it. Ignore the free to play garbage for a bit and give this a try. You won't be disappointed..Version: 1.0.0

It works on iOS 14.7, hooray!I love this game, played it years ago and just recently discovered it’s available on the App store again. There are a bunch of comments saying it won’t load, but it’s working flawlessly for me on iOS 14.7 ( urrent as of August 2021) using an iPad Pro 12.9”, 2nd gen. (from 2018). For anyone who hasn’t played it - I highly recommend this game, it’s a true classic with a fantastic soundtrack, terrific artwork, and unique, interesting combat. And the storyline…seriously, don’t read about the plot in the wiki, just play the game…you’ll be glad you did..Version: 1.2.5

So far absolutely stellar. There's a bit much in terms of exposition, but the style, music, customization and battle system are worth it. Though I wonder why the graphics look blurry on my iPad mini for a 2GB game… Do we not get the remastered graphics? the game itself is worth every penny, but I feel like I'm playing something different from what is described; character images are blurry and the audio quality of the soundtrack is inferior to the samples I found on iTunes. yet the game is the size of final fantasy 4, six times over..Version: 1.1.0

Best port of an RPG. Ever. The title says it all, pretty much. The unique gameplay that was built for the DS made this game a great fit for iOS. I enjoyed every bit of this game; from the realistic 'almost Shibuya' background art, to the wild characters, to the engaging and diverse control/power system, to the extremely catchy soundtrack. (Calling is joining Sanctuary as a favorite track in my music collection) This game looks far better than any other pixel art game on the iOS. My only complaints are these: the sticker art, the split screen mechanic being reduced to a single action (your partner is no more than a summon), and the fact that none of the collectibles can be moved out of the library. I still think it was worth 20$, unless you have the DS version already..Version: 1.2.0

I like it better than the DS versionThe graphics are a bit blurry though. For the extra $5 I paid for the iPad version, I expected crisp graphics. though. Still, it is nice to not have all the graphics split between 2 screens for once. Please update the game with Retina graphics though..Version: 1.0.0
