✓ Too fast, not funI love games like this but after your fifth or sixth set of bricks the timer goes way too fast. It becomes stressful instead of challenging. There's that line with great games where they always keep things difficult enough to be a challenge but easy enough to be fun. Pile never finds that sweet spot, and it's a bummer because the game is so beautifully designed..Alan513Version: 2.0.1

✓ Pile is synonymous with...In just saying that this app lacks refinement or explanation. It's quirky interface becomes a bigger obstacle to achieving a high score than the really obscure special tiles that make no sense and interrupt the already choppy game play. Overall, this means that this game is not worth playing at this point. Its a nice start, but really just quirky and frustrating..SiNoSiSiNoVersion: 2.0.1

✓ Great but...The timer is in fact a little to fast look you got less then 10 seconds to look at the blocks on the ground and your new ones then you got to think of where to place your new 4 blocks so that's at least placing 1 block precisely every 2.5 seconds. ✓ Old version please!!!This game used to be so good. It was simple like Tetris. And then they gave it this terrible facelift, introduced all these quirky features, and added in app purchases. I miss the old pile...and I can't find it anywhere. Had so many hours in it but I couldn't play this version for more than two weeks. Now I'm back searching for my sweet baby again. ✓ Style before substanceThis game has tons of potential. If more time was spent on the game mechanics instead of the design/ui, this would be a clear winner. Unfortunately it is a pretty shallow experience. Sort of like if a minimalist got ahold of Candy Crush and stripped out 90% of the fun. Also, they packed it with in-app purchase opportunities, but I can't imagine anyone feeling like they should spend money to unlock every little thing ($24 to unlock a game mode? sheesh!). Seriously, if you are confident that your game is good (or you are at least committed to making it better), sell it. Only d-bag devs cram their apps with lame IAPs..CH4RLE$Version: 2.0

✓ Beautiful game, brimming with styleI'd gladly pay for this game. I love it. EXCEPT as it is right now, I can't give it more than 2 stars. The gameplay is refined, it's quirky and a great to look at. It's a great game, but it's bogged down when you begin to realize the agenda. This is nothing more than a game to phish you for your money. By level 4 you will be bombarded by a quickening timer and an immense amount of [x] blocks. When you die it conveniently asks you to purchase a "second life." Micro-transactions and in-app purchases ruins - yet again - another game that could very well become the next Tetris if the developers had any foresight into sharpening up their brand. Play it for a bit, but I know you won't bother with it for long. Everyone will have deleted this within a week's time..JinrummieVersion: 2.0
