Terrible appHow do I get my money back? I tried it on several standard business cards received error twice on first card and finally got it in. The app didn't enter any address info and had other errors on the entry. The app never took the second card from the same company. Not ready for prime time, save your $$$ skip this app..Version: 1.0

Does not workEvery time I haves tried to use this it either doesn’t work, or says “loading contact details” for several minutes then crashes. Using on iPhone 8 Plus. I do not recommend this app..Version: 3.1.1

Better than nothingLet's be honest: this app is trying to solve a tough problem, namely doing OCR and business analysis on a bunch of pixels (the iphone photo of the card). The only other app I have used that is comparable is Evernote Hello. (I am sure there are many more, but I only know these two, because I wanted an app specific for the underlying web app, Evernote, or in this case, ZOHO CRM). The biggest plus for this app is that all details, including a JPG attachment with the actual photo of the card, go into the right place in ZOHO CRM. That by itself can save me some work. Is the accuracy where I would it to be? Probably not. But it does work reasonably well if the card is white and the text is not obscured by colored backgrounds etc. It takes several seconds to process a picture, and probably half a minute to verify all the info is correct (I do that straight in ZOHO). I would like it if the app checked if it finds the person on LinkedIn, similar to what Evernote Hello does..Version: 1.0

So-soConclusion: try a different app before paying. Can't scan both sides of card, text recognition isn't perfect. Doesn't allow to auto assign to a team member straight from app, would be easier to export as a spreadsheet then import, but this is the whole point of doing it straight from the app..Version: 2.5.5

Doesn't workFirst card was a jumbled mess. A couple of fields came in but most were gibberish. To make matters worse the all thought the company name have some crazy characters in it like <j which broke the so when I tried to delete them. I had to force quit the app half a dozen times to get the first card in (and then again to connect to Google which hung the app). It couldn't get a single field in the second card I tried!.Version: 3.0.1

Update has made it stop workingThis used to work just ok and I would use it regularly. But now with the update the app freezes when you try to edit any of the info after you have scanned the card but not saved it yet..Version: 3.0.1

Improvements Needed2 stars ONLY because it merges with Zoho contact easily. Card reader option is the worse of the 4 apps I tried. 9 out of 10 cards, it doesn't read a single line correctly and you'll have to delete it all and manually enter the information. Scanning/reading needs major improvements. If it didn't sync to Zoho, I'd kept using other apps..Version: 2.4.2

Card scanner appGood idea but has lockup issues on iPhone 6. It locks up on me when I am correcting the card information it has incorrectly interpreted when it scanned a card. I wind up having to shut the app down and rescan the card, starting back at the beginning. Frustrating is being polite. Deciding if I want to remove it and ask for money back. Could the problem be on the Zoho side? Wouldn't surprise me..Version: 3.0.1

Good in theory - poor in practiceI wish the app worked well. The main problems are: - has difficulty scanning well even in good light - does poor job of reading text correctly - the app crashes frequently (and doesn’t auto save so u have to enter the lead all over again).Version: 3.2.4

Serious scanning bugsThis has serious scanning problems. About one-third of cards scanned end up scanned upside down, even when the cards is right side up, and so the fields don’t automatically populate. When I try to cancel and rescan, it still scans upside down. Occasionally the app automatically flips the card right side up after a second or two, but the fields don’t populate. There is no ability to tell the app to flip the scan right side up and have it try again to populate the fields. This seems like an obvious feature, and a big miss. These are serious scanning errors. I can’t believe Zoho would release such a poor product that barely works. I’ve got to find something else that don’t drive me crazy..Version: 3.2.18

Doesn’t workPrevious versions used to work quote well, but after updating to the latest version, the scanner gets stuck and I get a message “Looking for card edges”... it never finds the edges, even in excellent conditions where other scanning apps work perfectly. I managed to get one card scanned recently, after mutiple attempts, and it didn’t synch with Zoho, although all conditions to synch were fulfilled. ZOHO: get your act together, or remove the app from the App Store..Version: 3.2.4

Disappointing ZOHO Scanner reviewIt's coupled to ZOHO but has the worst recognition of any OCR (card or other) I've used in years! You scan and then you HAVE to edit EVERYTHING! Really disappointing!!!! Don't spend the money unless you're really far behind entering cards and then only expect minimal help from this..Version: 2.4.7

Needs major work - do NOT purchase this version (3/6/17)Wish they actually shows the ratings before I purchased this. As it is, I purchased it as an accessory to my Zoho module and quickly found that the app did not read the cards clearly - I had to manually correct most fields..Version: 3.0.3

Needs workApp makes loading contacts a lot easier by scanning and uploading from your phone. However, the scan does not accommodate a lot of business card formats. This takes away the convince. Spent a lot of time fixing scan errors. Tools 20 mins to scan 3 cards and none of which scanned accurately. Took a lot of massaging of the data and plenty retakes..Version: 2.4.1

It's ok app compare to other similarCompare to other card scanner. This zoho card app is just ok. Can not tap and text in app. Can not tap and navigate address. Can not select customer to certain groups. Less scan accurate. The only reason I use this because I use zoho CRM. Which connect both. Hard closes after fixing fieldsI use this app to update ZOHO and Google contacts. The time it saves me entering the information into Soho directly as minimal. The app hard closes multiple times after uploading the picture of a business card or screenshot of a contact from another app. The time I spend re-manually typing the information in field step were not scanned correctly. The first time, I’m better off to load the information direct into each app. This app has more bugs that need addressed immediately..Version: 3.2.18

Crashes!!! Use Older VersionWas using previous version and worked great in synching to ZOHO. Was prompted to upgrade and now it's useless because it does not synch. Crashes even in adjusting settings. Don't upgrade until it is fixed!.Version: 2.4.6

Not worth $4.99Looks like ZOHO has a long way to go with this App. Phone # formatting is "non-existent," no notes/description capture possible & if adding to leads there is no way to choose "status" that triggers some of my workflow automations. Dusty810 is LYINGThis app doesn’t link to Zoho crm perfectly. It links to Zoho CRM terribly. It doesn’t upload the card you scanned to ZC, creates company name as an account, When Zoho crm accounts are companies you do business with, not anyone you just met. Doesn’t allow you to link yourCRM fields to the scanner. Amazing how backwards Zoho teams work and how disjointed their inter-team communications are. Zoho CRM clearly understands that you need fields in your leads and contacts that match the way you do business. Yet somehow, CardScanner team thinks you ought to use whatever field they provide, which most times, since they are in India, doesn’t work with the way Americans do business, or make any sense at all. Using card scanner takes forever bc you have to scan and fix each card one at a time. Here’s what needs to improve: 1. MASS SCAN CARDS, then pull up screen to fix in a list view 2. Connect to CRM custom fields already set up in CRM. Allow this to be done in settings 3. Allow mass updates of all fields just like in crm 4. Don’t automatically upload to CRM so unclean data isn’t uploaded bf cleaning is done. Instead, in list view page, place link to upload to CRM 5. Improve OCR recognition to reduce necessary cleaning.Version: 3.1.9

UselessI’ve tried scanning cards with flash on and off, on a brown desktop and even a black background. Takes forever to identify card edges and then copies info inaccurately. A frustrating waste of time..Version: 3.2.4

OCR needs workLove Zoho, however this app is not quite ready for prime time. The OCR reader unfortunately has so many errors, it's hard to scan without having to edit. I have tried multiple backgrounds, flash, no flash etc. Love the idea though, would like to see it fixed..Version: 2.4.8

Can’t switch ZOHO CRM AccountsI recall changing which of my two Zoho CRM acts card scanner writes to, but now I cannot find any means to do so. I don’t work with the same two companies as I did several months ago. So any cards scanned now, still go into other account that I don’t use. Several emails to soho about this issue got me no response. There is no setting in mobile app to change Zoho CRM destination file, or to change from using one if my two email identities to the one relevant to my desired Zoho CRM Acct. I would give a 5 stars if this issue gets resolved. Support for card scanner seems missing..Version: 3.2.5

Terrible ScannerWill not scan the outer edges of most business cards. You will get a partial scan of the card has a predominant color other than white..Version: 3.1.9

WON’T UPLOADThe point of the app is to scan the business card of the person I want in Zoho. This app scans the card, but doesn’t upload it to Zoho, which defeats the whole purpose of having it. FIX IT, and I’ll adjust my rating..Version: 2.5.5

Still needs alot of workI tried to scan 20 different cards and not one of them scanned correctly. I understand the OCR technology is not perfect but I am sure a 0% accuracy rate can be improved upon. Unfortunately, it is quicker for me to manually enter the data..Version: 2.5.1

Every phone number as Work?This app needs to differentiate the type of phone number the OCR recognizes -mobile, work, fax, etc.-. Reading all phone numbers as “work”, not been able to identify the type of contact number and delaying fixing this issue, will compromise your app success. It requires also proper sync with all the fields in the Zoho CRM platform..Version: 2.3
