This needs to be fixed. Have to turn the controller off to press ok. Cannot configure what the buttons do. No legend to tell you what each button on the controller does. You can get into the inventory but cannot scroll or look through it with the controller. Will give 5 stars when this is fixed. Also when playing multiple online matches the game will sometimes load a game when it's not your turn yet. Which can be annoying. Why wouldn’t you use a scheme similar to Angry Birds where you pull back to aim and set your power? Seems like a missed opportunity. ✓ Great game, but with massive flaws!The offline campaign and the ability to play friends online is awesome. The huge downside is the very tricky interface! The buttons and arrows are really big on the screen so it's hard to aim and walk. The screen jumps around frequently for no reason. And if you have a worm at the edge of the map you have to basically guess where you're walking and aiming. That makes it a very frustrating game..Version: 1.24

✓ Good aside from buggy multiplayerAs a lifelong worms fan really enjoyed playing in single-player campaign mode. Aside from some scope to improve the controls (it's very frustrating blowing oneself with the bazooka after inadvertently swiping too far when panning the screen!) and to make more levels, I really enjoyed it and felt ready & well trained for multiplayer. However I soon realised there was a big flaw with that - why were almost all opponents eventually failing to take their turn? Was it fear from my shock & awe tactics? Sadly not. Eventually I got hit by the bug whereby after completing a round I encountered a 'failed to send turn' message. Multiple retries & restarting the app made no difference, and the result was that my game was stuck, I was unable to play my turn and the game was eventually won by default by my opponent eventhough I was winning. How frustrating!!! I would have awarded 5* had it not been for that, instead I give 3..Version: 1.12

The promise of online multiplayer seemed good, but turns out it’s awful. No real-time play except with pass and play, but who wants to do that? And there’s no way of playing more than one person at a time. This seems especially stupid when the earlier versions have Bluetooth support that mean you can do real time play with up to 4 players. Firstly the expiry time for non active games needs to be adjusted. I currently have 30 games that are up to 15 days old waiting to be actioned by the opponent. Frankly this is ridiculous. Secondly, there are many bugs that occur when loading games. The servers appear to be somewhat unreliable. However the new class system and card system add new elements to the game which give the game a new dimension. There are some weapons that I miss from the previous games and some that need to be scrapped. ✓ False advertising..!Worms 3 on iOS, play online with your friends... Except you can't play online after you exit the game because the cloud sync fails on application restart. The only work around is to save every level and cloud sync it before you exit the game, then uninstall and then reinstall app, then resync the cloud and it works again... But only until you exit the app and then the whole process needs repeating... And if you didn't cloud save or couldn't connect then you have now lost your campaign progress... Team 17 should patch the error instead of ripping off faithful customers who have stood by them for over 10 years. It is unacceptable that the app needs reinstalling every time it's run, if it is not fixed soon then a report to trading standards for false advertising will be made by myself and anyone who thinks team 17 has ripped them off and anyone who thinks team 17 has made false claims about this app. It's a sad state of affairs when a company like this blatantly rips off long serving customers. I spent 30 minutes looking for a game in both worms 3, and worms 2. Needless to say I only found one match and it did not pass round 3. As sad as it pains me to say. ✓ Lots of room for improvementAs soon as you start the game, it is easy to realise that it is optimised for iOS, with its much improved physics and graphics a well as user interface, which is great. I'm not a big fan of the card system but it isn't mandatory so that's a point for new ideas. However, it is slightly disappointing that the only thing that you can buy from the store is playing cards, meaning there is no incentive to so the campaign as you don't get any extra weapons, maps, accessories etc, which is at the moment, a step down from Armageddon. The biggest improvement for me is definitely the load times, which are awesome. I have a problem however with the campaign resetting its progress whenever it feels like it, meaning I have to so the story again. Speaking of which is much shorter than the stories of other games in the franchise. I know the game is new, but I hope that there are such improvements in line for the future. Thanks..Version: 1.02

✓ Great game, hindered without cloud savesIf you love previous Worms games, you'll love this. While it's more of the same in the sense that there's lots you'll be familiar with, they've also added some great new features like bonus cards that can be applied to your worms. I've seen a few people ask about Bluetooth local multiplayer. While I don't see the option, there are 3 local multiplayer game types. Including a pass and play option for the straight forward multiplayer match-ups. With that option there, I don't see much need to use Bluetooth and drain my battery, so it doesn't feel like its missing. The biggest negative point for me though is that while its a universal app (a plus point when you've got an iPad and an iPhone), there is no 'cloud' saves. So any progress on my iPad does not transfer to my iPhone. For me any universal app that misses this out can not get any more than 3 stars. It's just not good enough to miss this out anymore. I feel like I have to write this in so many reviews these days. Anyone that would need a game to be universal will need it to have a cloud save feature. One is pointless without the other. Overall a fun game, and if you're used to worms games then you'll enjoy this. I've been buying worms since the original and I still enjoy it, and hey've added new features to keep it fresh. But be aware that saves don't follow you across devices, for now. Hopefully that's in an update fast!.Version: 1.02

✓ Glitches so I can move my wormThis game was fine to start out, but now (4 days later) whether I’m playing online or campaign when it’s my turn the timer will count down but the arrows and everything else won’t show up so I can’t move my worm. This is also happening to my friends who I got to also download this game to play with me. Not cool, especially for a game that we paid for to play. It also sometimes crashes randomly. ✓ Buggy...While gameplay is as good as any other worms game there are multiple issues with logging into your worms account using Facebook method where it doesn't even try to connect. Controls don't work on some levels on iPhone 6+ but work on iPad, although I can't play the levels I am up to because I can't log in. I won't be playing again until there's an update....Version: 1.15
✓ Multiplayer is terribleThere are a lot of updates that need to happen with multiplayer. First, why can’t we fast forward through an opponents turn? Also should be able to skip and replay watching turns. Not only this but this is no way to replay your own turn. Also there is no way to stay in the game and have it actively refresh so that you don’t have to constantly quit, refresh, and then go back in to play. Also the controls are really hard.Version: 1.24

✓ Needs fixingI'm a big fan of this franchise, but this game is just really frustrating to play. I preferred the old set-up where there was no D-pad or jumping buttons; instead these moves were simply carried out through different touches of the screen. What we have now is a screen littered with buttons that basically block the entire lower view of the screen; so now i have to constantly zoom in and out when my worm is unfortunate enough to be positioned at the screens bottom, just so i can even see what i'm doing & where my enemy is and that's really annoying. ✓ Could be great...I play this a lot with my house mates. We love it BUT there are so many bugs! Surely the developers have played this enough to notice? Online games often have the controls just disappear and deleting the game is the only way to fix it. The zoom in game is frustrating, especially when watching other players turns. Selecting which game you want to play is a painful task, getting the right combination of refreshes and double clicks. The cloud system looses track often. Would love to see an update!!.Version: 1.16
