✓ This is a fun game but it’s SO RIGGEDI’ve been playing this game on and off for a while now. I really like how much fun it is but I feel like they make sure that you don’t get a great score. Like in the one with the sinking boat, when it’s my first thing the shore is like a foot away. But when I’m up 800 points the shore is like 5 feet away. I know they have to make the game harder but they are already speeding up how much time I have to get there and now their making it further away! Also I was just doing the one where you have to stack all the presents on Santa’s sleigh and I got the last present on the sleigh at the last second but they counted it as a death! They do this all the time with all their different games! I know I’m complaining hard right now but I do think it is a really fun game. I just get irritated and I wanted to prepare everyone considering to get this game. I love the fun challenges but I HATE how it’s so rigged. If you get mad easily at games you should probably not get it. If you can handle it it’s really fun so get it!.Version: 2.9.4
✓ Fix these gamesThis game is very fun and never gets boring However the game brake-up is broken because every time I press the screen to stop the car it just keeps driving until it drives off the cliff . I've played this game many times and it just kills me . Please fix this . Also the game where you have to feed the snake a hot dog is broken. I always follow the dotted line with mustard but I keep dying . I tried everything the snake keeps killing me. Lastly the game Final round is impossible to beat as the game gets faster. This is because she you start the game sometimes you will automatically cash into another car . It's just luck if you enough time to switch lanes . ✓ Great mini games but frustrating daily challengeI came back to this game and to my pleasant surprise I found an additional set of mini games added into the game. They’re a lot of fun, and the idea of having practices for certain mini games is a good idea, as you don’t have to keep playing a slew of mini games just to get to the mini game you keep getting stuck on. The new feature of making your own avatar in the game is fun too. However the new setup of the daily challenge in the game are incredibly frustrating as you have to start all over again from the beginning if you screw up, even if you did so on the last game of the fifth part and you didn’t make it because your device doesn’t register your movement properly or something that’s beyond your control. I’d suggest instead of starting from the start again, have the player start the part again, but not from the very start of the five parts. I think the “levelling the plane” mini game is very confusing with what it wants you to do and unclear about where you’re supposed to fly, as well as the balloon-flappy-bird-like game I don’t think is as sensitive as it should be, as I try to move the character from flying into birds but the character’s coding simply doesn’t make it move fast enough. For the plane and the ballon game, I think to make them less confusing and easy to control, make the games a bit more like flappy bird where the character reacts instantly to your tap, and for the plane game remove the clouds so it’s more clear and less of a narrow space to the player for where they’re supposed to fly. But overall, the game is a great way to kill time and for me personally, it’s rather nostalgic, so I do want to see this game do the best it can!.Version: 2.25.0
✓ Wanted nostalgia, not 30 seconds of Ads for every 10 seconds of gameplayLong ago, this game was free. Not freemium or an ad driven cash grab. Lately though, the experience is GOD AWFUL. The developers obviously don’t care about the game, only the money they can make. You get an ad every 3-4 mini games, each one taking 5 seconds a pop. The ads are for other freemium games. There is a tasteful way to incorporate ads, such as providing them for in game rewards or boosters, but this is so forced that it’s sickening. Do yourself a favor. Get an older release and side load it. The ads are ridiculous. It breaks my heart that this studio is so money hungry that they would deliberately ruin the experience. At the very least, put the ads in after you use up your lives. It ruins the pace of the game COMPLETELY the way the ads are used right now. Awful. Genuinely awful..Version: 36.1.5

✓ Used to be a joy, and now it’s worse then all the crappy mobile gamesIt’s been a good while since I’ve seen so many ads in one game. Literally as soon as you boot into it, the entire menu screen is an ad. Then every 2-3 (6 second games) there’s an ad. I played this game for about 2 minutes and have been served 10 unskippable ads. ✓ Honestly one of my favorite free apps out thereI used to LOVE this game. It's cute, stressful, and full of small creatures dying. Lots of fun. I deleted it a while ago because I was getting distracted too often while writing my thesis. I had let it out of my mind for a while and then someone brought it up recently so I decided it was time to redownload it. I absolutely understand that you don't just go around making apps that everyone loves because it's something you enjoy doing pro bono. Money is important and it allows you to keep making new stuff. There definitely is a line though and it's certainly been crossed in this app. Throw up an ad here and there between games, fine. I'll just mute it and wait until I can try again. Putting ads up every time you click a button is pushing it past my limits. I had the app on my phone for 5 minutes and had to delete it because it was simply unbearable. ✓ Good but....This app is good but it needs many many improvements. First of all let’s say that the ads are very very annoying. Even when you pass them you already know that there is more to come. Second of all , in my opinion, when you pass some certain scores you get a bean , it makes you more addicted to this app. Well that is not the problem. The problem is that after you get some beans it is very hard to get more since the game gets much more harder and faster that you don’t know what to do and it gets much more annoying. Thirdly when you play more, and when you accomplish a level there are something called: The boo score and nice weather today score and etc... Well there are much more boo score and bad luck score that even if you achieve a very good score this negative marks will destroy and make your score less than the first one that it seems like the owner of this game doesn’t want people winning more beans. ✓ Good game but...This game came out in 2012 and my friend showed it to me. I thought it was funny and interesting so I downloaded it. Back then there were no ads on it at all and it was so much fun. I could just play and play. Now every time I play and quit a game there is an ad. I do anything on it and I get ads. Also I get some of the mini games are sensitive but the ones that are easy to figure out and do however make it to where you tilt and it doesn’t work or I swipe and it doesn’t do anything. I’ve played this game so many times and I know that I’m capable of doing it but when I wipe coming off the screen and it doesn’t do anything where I’m swiping my hardest and nothing works then something needs to be done. ✓ A lot of Bugs..This game is one of my childhood favorite app games. It's very simplistic with fun challenges. However with all the new updates I'm noticing more and more bugs as I play it. For one the ability to change the color of beans hair and body is completely inoperable for me the colors don't change at all after selecting them they just stay default. Secondly the game will often force close itself when trying to access the settings and will only work the second time you try and open them after launching the game. Thirdly a lot of the mini games tend to bug out the longer you play making them non functional which causes you to lose a life by default. I've only seen this in a few of the newer games such as the weightlifter level. and The boxing level. Please fix these issues..Version: 36.0.12
✓ Really enjoyable game , howeverI love how much further developed this game has become since it’s conception , but if a rise in popularity is the reason the ads are more invasive , constant and interrupting gameplay mid way through , then that is unfortunate. This is particularly invasive due to the nature of the game . If you glance away from a 15second unskippable ad , and the next event is any sort of balance skill, you can pretty much fail from snapping back to attention . It makes me not want to play. ✓ Nice but needs inmprovmentDumb ways to die is a nice game I like to play while I’m bored. And some of the things you have to do (ex: keep the firework airborne, keep the airplane in the sky, duck before the bear bites you.) sound easy but when I try to do them I always fail. They are so fast and it’s hard to keep going. It makes me mad because it’s supposed to not be super hard since it’s for little kids, but honestly I wouldn’t even let my little brother play it because he’d be so furious that his favorite song has a game that is too hard for him. ✓ BugsOn playing weight lifting mini game, on 2nd time of it appearing you can’t do anything to make the bar move. So on 2nd time playing it, it’s curtin death. :( the fish eating game mode is kinda broken? ✓ Dumb Ways to Die👎When I first saw this game I was like this is the game I need but honestly it's really not. When I started to play this game it let me take full control and I was able to understand what to do but after a few levels it didn't explain specific directions and I had no idea what to do. For example when it told me to move something witch I still don’t know what it wanted me to move it wasn’t helpful whatsoever. I don’t really recommend this game unless you like games that you really think you like it. So sorry for people who like this game. I hope they also fix the lives there should be unlimited lives and less ads and even though you might watch a minute long video you only get one life. ✓ Please get rid of the adverts!I absolutely love this game, but I recently re-downloaded the game and ever since then every time you ‘die’ for the third time, instead of going back to the main menu or to play again, there are adverts that seem to last 30 seconds long. This is really frustrating because before the game never had any ads and was one of the few games that didn’t. ✓ Finally over it!What I find frustrating about this game is that many of the mini games take precise touch on the screen, which very often does not register. I’ve tried it with and without screen protectors, and on various different phones, and had the same issue. Eg. sometimes the “clean up the puke” game just refused to recognise any input, the piranhas often take multiple flicks to get them off your private parts, and if you accidentally swipe your phone into multitasking mode while getting your toast out with a fork, when you return to the game it won’t recognise touch. ✓ Really good game but...I had this game a coupe years ago and LOVED it. It helps reduce stress and really makes you think. The game it’s self is really creative and goofy. Well today I was looking for apps out of boredom and came across this game. I was over the top exited. Every time I get a new game, I always read some reviews. Almost all of them that I read said they were having issues with the amount of ads they had. When I had the app before , I didn’t remember having a bunch of ads that popped up. So I thought that this game had been around for a long time, so maybe the creator fixed the ad problem. It was obvious after one minute into the game that they did not do ANYTHING. You get ads after all three of your tombstones are gone and it is just ridiculous. It makes me wonder if the creators even listen to the reviews because it has not changed. And if you are reading this and think well maybe dumb ways to die 2 will be better, then you are wrong. While there are less ads, it is harder and just doesn’t make since. ✓ Kills U even if u preform right sometimes-lameOften kills you even if you preform correctly AND still counts you dead even if screen shows you did it right and congratulates you. Example. I avoided bear bite, I succeeded each time, bear barfs candy up on me and doesn’t champ me... I STILL FALL INTO GRAVE and it counts as one death. This happens i. a variety of the games. It was a staple of early mobile games and is one of my favorites but it’s one I’ll think about, download, and delete soon after. This isn’t because of the gameplay, the game is still very fun. ✓ Good but could be betterAfter looking at a few of the reviews and playing the game myself, I have found that I have found a way around some of the mistakes. First, for the people that have been bothered by the amount of ads in the game, you can easily avoid this by turning on airplane mode, since you can play without wifi. I will say that while this game is extremely fun, it has bothered me by how little time they give you to read the instructions. It does get frustrating when you don't know what to do and you automatically lose. Another thing about this app is the fact that, while the button to watch the video is still there, it won't let me watch the video. While this game may have a few problems, overall it's a great game. ✓ Amazing game but to many adsI have had this game forever and remember listening to the dump ways to die song over and over with my cousins and playing constantly to see who could get the best score. I had always had the app on an old iPad that couldn’t update apps so, I always had the same version of the app. I recently got a new phone and was trying to find all the apps that I liked to download and found this app. I was really exited because I heard of all the new updates such as, build a bean, more ways to die😂, daily challenges, and being able to practice different challenges. But with the this new update came sooooooo many ads! Every time you get three tombstones and “die” there’s an ad! Sometimes once you get all three tombstones and “die” they will give you an option to get another life by watching an ad. I will usually skip it but then when I press play again there’s an ad! So what’s the point of watching the ad in the first place! You’re just going to watch one after! ✓ Meh… Nice idea though.I downloaded it after reading the Apple review on the App Store. The free version is so much riddled with ads that I don’t get a chance to try before buy the actual game. Guys, you have to make money- understandable. But let the user try the game for a bit first and then turn on the ads. Also a quick tutorial would be helpful. Each mini game is different, so you don’t know what you are supposed to do and you die… and watch the ads AND closing the ad is obscure so you don’t know how to get out of it even after it ends. ✓ Not as good as it used to beI’ve just re-downloaded it because I played this all the time when I was younger and wanted to have a go again but whatever updates have happened in the mean time have kinda ruined the game. The point system ruins the feel of the game and while I like the option to turn off tilt mini games I don’t like how we can’t turn off the title cards. I personally believe that they stay for too long and are annoying very quickly since the mini games aren’t hard to learn. On top of that, they ruin the pacing when the mini games get faster and remove the rush of everything. Finally, while I understand ads are kinda needed, I don’t like how I get an add before I even get passed the main menu and start the game and how they play in the middle of you playing which, again, ruins the pacing of it. Nothing throws a wrench into a good time like having to stop at a point where you have momentum going in order to watch a condescending ad for a product I will NEVER purchase! This game is developed by the public transit system for a major urban center. I wonder how much it costs to ride a bus that may or may not let you off at the stop you requested. Obviously a fortune if they have to supplement their income by resorting to insulting tactics. All versions have been deleted. Thanks for the years that it was a challenge to play. If annoying people is your goal, kudos! You did a great job at doing that. Placing ads in the game or charging players $3 to have an ad-free experience. That $3 doesn’t stop ads like you’re lead to believe. You’ll still get them but maybe not at the worst possible time. ✓ Used to be good, ruined with updates.In 2017, I downloaded the game and got obsessed with it. It was pretty simple, just get a couple scores and fill up the train station with fun minigames. I recently got a new phone and decided to replay this game for nostalgia. Originally, you had to get 60 points or more to unlock hapless. Now I have to unlock TEN things to actually get another character on my train station. Also, some minigames now are literally copies of others with updated visuals. The game also, like other reviewers have mentioned, has a serious ad infestation it didn’t have 5 years ago. Also, the creators started making NFTs earlier on in the year. TLDR : It would’ve gotten 5 stars but it got infested with ads, nfts, and it takes ages now to unlock even the first train station character..Version: 36.0.5

I mean, y’all do realize us consumers are going to reach a point where it becomes too much and we give up on your products no matter the quality. I’d understand one after every game, developers need to be paid, but the fact that so many of the mini games involve using the entire screen, making it rather likely for you to accidentally hit the pause button and have to watch multiple ads through one game, is so ridiculous. I kept dying multiple times because I would hit the pause button, have to watch an ad, and when I came back the dude would croak. I mean, at least have a functioning pause system if you’re going to exploit it for money. Maybe if I didn’t feel like this app was deserving of requiring payment I would buy the ad free version, but that would entail a positive experience with the product. ✓ Pretty Good Game 🙂👍🏼It was really addicting at first but soon it was doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. The Halloween update was pretty cool though! Sometimes the timer goes so fast it is literally impossible to do. The one where you row the boat is the main one I have problems with. Hey I still come back to it though because every now and then you want to hear the awesome song and see all of the stupid ways the creators of the game came up with for how the cute characters are going to die. ✓ FIXSome of the games in this work and some don’t and once you lose all of your lives and want to play again there is an advert and you can’t skip it for eg the rotten food one doesn’t work because you can tap on the right food but still make it die . ✓ Great game. Problem with screen sensitivityI remember playing dumb ways to die when it first came out. It was a brilliant game. But the sensitivity of the touch screen was always weak which made the game frustrating as you would die when it was just the game messing up. I have come back to play it years later and it is a better game but has the exact same problems, which is infuriating and making me stop playing it again. ✓ 20 seconds of game, then 1 minute adThe game itself seemed fun but the ads caused me to delete it after five minutes. Apple was incredibly shortsighted to allow minute-long ads. They’re just painful and unnecessary. And then there is the pain of clicking to close the ad, which doesn’t close the ad, it instead brings up an App Store dialog which you also have to cancel, then you’re back on the ad and usually have to wait another 5 seconds for a new “x” close button to appear. Even for a fun game it’s not worth the annoyance and boredom of dealing with a minute long ad for every 20 to 40 seconds of gameplay. If the ads were 10 seconds, then maybe. ✓ Scam InvolvedI redownloaded this game for the nostalgia and am happy to say the game itself is still fun. Then, I saw the earn free coins section and presumed they’d ask you to watch adverts in order to earn the coins. However, upon looking into it, it asks you to fill out surveys with personal details and leads you to known scam and virus websites. Of course I didn’t give any information but just be careful, especially as children often play this game who might not know better. In addition to this, I’ve seen other reviews complaining that they paid for the removal of ads or for more coins and the money was taken but the adverts were not removed or they didn’t receive their coins. I was disappointed to know that what I had thought was a trustworthy app was affiliated with such sites and would also directly scam people out of their money..Version: 2.10.0
✓ Too many ads and not enough time to learn levelsI legitimately played for 2 minutes and got 4-5 ads (also a 6th optional ad for extra life’s, which I declined.) that is my main issue for this terrible review. When this game came out years ago it was fun, unique and PLAYABLE. Now it simply feels like a cheap way for the developers to make money off of new players. ✓ Missing somethingI really want to like this game. Really really. But there are some serious things wrong with it and it’s going to take a lot of fixing to get me to increase my rating. For example - some of the instructions flash up so quickly on the screen and give you all of 3 seconds to read them before you have to start with the action you’re meant to do. If you don’t see the instructions, you’ll miss out on what you’re meant to do and die. I’m quite a fast reader, but I’d need to be the Flash in order to read some of these instructions. I have, quite literally, blinked and missed the instruction on the screen, which inevitably causes the death of the bean. The game where you’re supposed to move your finger across the screen to shine the spotlight on to the psycho to find him before the time runs out, never works. The interface between your finger on the screen and the spotlight is way off and barely moves a few millimetres even with broad swipes or sweeps. The game where you have to select the fresh food doesn’t work either. You can select the fresh food every time and the bean still eats the rotten piece and dies. There’s some great aspects to this game but there are a lot of bugs that need fixing..Version: 2.7.0

I decided to install it for nostalgic purposes, but was extremely disappointed when I replayed it only to find this game horrendous. I would not recommend downloading it. It’s not worth it. ✓ Okay.I downloaded this game one day and enjoyed playing it. The next day I went on my iPad to play it and it wasn’t there. When I went on the AppStore, it wasn’t downloaded. ✓ Nice gameI found this game to be very fun at first, but after a while it became a bit boring. I would have liked to see more updates or levels. While I did enjoy dumb ways 2, it was still pretty much the same game. A couple of the levels were hard to understand, or you didn’t know what you were doing wrong. It was very frustrating at times. Despite all of this, I did enjoy playing it in short intervals, and if you like games by companies such as cheetah mobile, you will like this game because it has a similar pacing. ✓ Forced ads ruined the gameI recently downloaded this new game app that I was really excited to try out. However, my experience with it has been seriously hampered by the overwhelming number of forced advertisements. I understand that ads are necessary to support the app, but this game takes it to a whole new level. There are so many ads that they disrupt the flow of the game and make it practically unplayable. It's frustrating to be in the middle of a level and suddenly be forced to watch a 30-second ad that you can't skip. And to make matters worse, some of these advertisements are not safe for children. I wouldn't want my little one to stumble upon one of these ads while playing the game. Overall, the gameplay itself is enjoyable, but the excessive ads ruin the experience. It's a shame because I really wanted to like this app, but I don't think I'll be keeping it on my phone for much longer. If the developers can find a way to reduce the number of ads and ensure that all of them are appropriate for all ages, I would definitely reconsider.
