✓ New Owners ruined the gameThis used to be such a fun and interesting game! Now that there is a new team behind the game the direction has switched from an enjoyable time wasting game to a money hungry passionless greed game. The two hour time cap after being idle has completely ruined the game. Some births would take a few days now all progress is utterly slow, painful and worse of all unrewarding. The worms used to recharge every hour now you have to watch an ad or wait an exorbitant amount of time. The only saving grace for this game is the art and animations but now that the game has asked for a small loan of a millions dollars there is little reason to “persevere” through its slow progress. ✓ Love the surrealism, hate the greedy monetizationAs an idle game it’s not that bad, it’s fun for a while to figure out how best to place all the bits to get the babies to combine and to get the most profitable outcome. The crazy surrealism is definitely one of the strong points and the mechanics work well. But the levels take exponentially longer to finish the closer you get to the goal, and each app update slows down your progress even more because you now have to pay or watch ads for things you used to be able to do for free in the previous version (even idle progress now has a time cap). ✓ A fun little game if you have money to spendIt’s a cute idle game if you have real world money to make it playable - being able to skip ads and have extra idle time is key. In later ascensions, there are two problems: first, if you have to hard exit the game to get the accurate price to grow your neck - for example, if you buy all your neck advancements on patient 1 or 3, the last one will be $Qa or $Qq unless you hard exit the game, at which point the last advancement is back to $t. Second, in-game money is unbalanced which can be frustrating - what cost $Qa in the last ascension now costs $Sx for example. Specimens (used to provide buffs) are not available in sufficient ways - if you drop enough real cash to get rid of ads and increase idle time, you shouldn’t have to then spend more money buying diamonds to feed your goose. ✓ It was great until the recent updateI was absolutely obsessed with this game a week ago. I was sharing it with my friends, playing it all day and loving every second of it. Then the update throttled passive collection out of the app and asks you to pay for so many things. It completely halted the progress I was making and has made the game unplayable which is really unfortunate for something that was so fun for me just a couple of days ago. I would be open to paying a few bucks to turn passive collection on or other features independently but there is no option for that, its $10 for the full thing or nothing at all. ✓ Update completely destroyed the gameThis game was a BLAST when I first got it, but there was an update recently that killed the game. I’m not sure why the developers thought any of it was a good idea. It was a fun game to idle and now it’s only TWO HOURS of idle collection, you need to pay for everything and anything you want. ✓ Good idea poor executionHad been waiting for months for this game to come out as it had on preorder for a while, the game starts out really nice and quirky, with cool and unique game mechanics as well as REALLY great art and design. By the second level I had figured I would be in for the long haul and would support the devs by buying some things in the shop, which did not work. Figured I would continue playing the game just fine without the purchases, but progressed stalled to a STEEP halt at around 4-5 rebirths. I get that it’s an idle game, and things are meant to take time but 1-3 took no time at all compared to 4 and 5. 4-5 you basically come on once a day to grow 0.5-0.8. Legendaries are also not as powerful as they may appear, as you can’t move a lot of them up and down on the tree where as the commons you can. ✓ Dissatisfied and disappointedThe game was really at fun at first due to the interesting graphics and fun gameplay, but the latest patch added a bunch of extra unnecessary advertising and a time limit to the idling function, making you frantically keep checking the app every few hours. Also the price for no ads (20$ now, originally 25$) is still pretty expensive for what you get, and that includes the current 48% price slash that renders it to 12$! ✓ Steep decline in progressionLike all incremental games you reset the current stage when you reach a certain point. Patient 1 through 5 progress fairly fast and then patient 6 on progress horribly slow. This is in an effort to make you watch hundreds of ads or spend the money you worked hard for on a mobile game. On patient 6 I could upgrade the goose once every 2 hours without spending real money. I’d estimate that it would've taken me 7 days to get to patient 7 because the game locks you out at 2 hours of idle earnings. Patient 1 through 4 can be done in like 6 hours, patient 5 takes 1 day. You can earn the in-game currency without having the game open, but in order to earn pretty much any money at all, you need to pay like 12$.
