But it crashes a lot, and tutorials keep trying to repeat themselves - sometimes this is fine, as I was going to do that GDA OPS anyway, but when it tries to get me to rename an alliance I’ve joined (can’t do that) I have no choice but to quit and reload..Version: 0.13.17
✓ Devs have no idea how to run a game.This game is poorly made and the decisions devs make are ridiculous. Below are a few examples: I have been stuck on Chapter 10 stage 30 for several days. I have leveled 4 out of the 5 team members 20 levels each and still can’t beat the level. How is it that I had zero problems with the previous stage and can’t beat this one despite how much I’ve increased my levels? The difficulty gap between one single mission is absolutely ridiculous The events are ran in an extremely poor way. They make a big deal here out of Alan the alien being released yet they locked him behind an event that lasted only a few days and required tickets to play. They gave players very few tickets and Alan appeared on the events reward selection very seldomly. They also gave no warning that the event was about to end so anyone that was saving their event currency to try to get him wasted their time and lost all the currency when the event abruptly ended. Any dev with half a brain (which these amateurs clearly do not have) would leave the rewards section up for a few days after the event ends so players can use their saved currency..Version: 1.0.22

✓ Pretty good, but restarts a lot…I’m a fake fan so I’m not gonna talk about the games story or whatever. Only really downloaded it cause I was bored and got rid of the last game I was bored of and this has been decent. I’ve seen tons of people complain it gets tedious, but it’s an Idle game. Like, what are you expecting? Also, lots of people complaining it’s pay to win and all I can say is that the micro transactions are pretty aggressive, but I haven’t spent a single dime and I’m doing pretty good. Got five elites right now, four of which are at plus, and most of my characters are already hitting 119. So yeah, sounds like more of a patience issue then anything really. My only real complain is the fact that the game keeps having server issues so I keep having to restart my game. Once or twice is fine, but I literally just had the game restart on my like 8 times in a row. Ubisoft, work on the infrastructure of your servers cause this is sort of ridiculous..Version: 1.0.13
✓ Unstable grinding game that hits a wallCrashes constantly and asks to be restarted. Those crashes wipe out the progress in the ‘Events’ missions. The game builds well for the first week or so. From that point on any progress requires significant grinding, with lots of offers becoming available to purchase in-game currencies and characters. ✓ DisappointedI was looking forward to this game. But upon opening it realized this was one of those types. There is no option for landscape mode play. The music loops on some generic song. And within minutes you can clearly see where the effort went. I might look over some of the small things if you could play in landscape… but this game seems to lean more on microtransactions. Run of the mill gacha, but for it’s franchise it feels poorly done. Don’t know what else to say, the games’ quality speaks for itself. At least the store looks pretty. ✓ Good Game but…It’s like a copy and paste of AFK Arena but with less pay to win. Game is new so there isn’t much yet (understandable). Graphics could be way better, I don’t understand why they made the characters 3D but there icons 2D it makes it look awkward and unfinished would be better if it was just a 2D animation. Graphics make phone burn up even if you have the newest model. You get stuck pretty early on in the game so all you really do is log on a claim your AFK rewards, level up a bit, and repeat. ✓ Update broke the gameThey put a new update in and now the game crashes all the time I can’t get the new limited edition hero bc you have 4 days to do so and any time I try to play the gda op to get the currency to but this character from the store the game immediately crashes it literally is unplayable since the update so now the only way to get the hero is to spend actual money on it or you just miss out, I have every hero and I’ve only got them all because I put in hours of work to get them, extremely disappointing it feels intentional so that you either spend money or just not have him.Version: 0.14.7

✓ Phone overheating on lowest settingI have just downloaded the game and after a couple minutes my phone had started overheating, I’m on an iPhone 14 and first thing I did was lower the graphics setting to the lowest possible. This is an idle game and no mode should take 1.5 hours to complete: the GDA OPS should be short and sweet, not 1.5 hours of 100+ waves. No one wants to leave their phone on for that long just to get their rewards cut in half if they abandon it early. 2. The phone overheats and drains batter way too quickly, some optimizations need to be made. 3. More variety of content is needed to keep this game playable in the long term..Version: 1.0.13
✓ Lots of potentialReally hope this isn’t some one off cash grab pump and dump gimmick. I can see this game being great with a couple of updates, but right now the shops prices are ridiculous (not a huge problem for me because I would never spend real money anyway), and the campaign paywall happens too quickly (around ch9). Alliances should have a chat function. There should DEFINITELY be more heroes, and there should be heroes above the base elite tier. (SPOILERS) I believe there will be updates in the future as there are already character models for battle beast, and I assume machine head and other viltrumites. The only non-idle function in the game at the moment is tapping the screen over and over in alliances. News flash: that’s not fun. ✓ BugsI have the same issue with removing the rank up feature for both characters and missions (this will prevent people completing their first 5 day achievements). I seem to be keeping all of my progress however. There is also a bug when you lose a campaign mission it claims victorious and allows progression which I imagine will be an issue. I feel like for a released game there should be more characters, not even all of the guardians are available and you can obtain everyone within a couple of days F2P. ✓ Cheap Cash Grab?Although I’ve played for roughly an hour, I feel like I’ve already seen the whole gameplay the game has to offer. Invincible: Guarding the Globe is a hero collector game with very little game interaction as most of the game plays automatically. Not always a bad thing if you’re limited on game time, but if you’re searching for a game with more action, this is not it. Another feature that isn’t necessary but would make the game feel more alive would be voice acting. This game severely lacks in the sound department. While many other mobile games developed by smaller companies have fully voiced characters and even in multiple different languages, a game made by Ubisoft which isn’t a small company in any way shape or form, Ubisoft definitely didn’t put much resource into making a quality game. As of right now, Invincible: Guarding the Globe is not worth investing your time into as it’s a cheap cash grab and often nags you into checking out their premium services. Maybe in the near future if the game gets enough updates and QoL improvements, it could be a game worth checking out. 2/5 Stars.Version: 1.0.13

✓ Makes Phone Run Hot and is a Mediocre GameSo I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, turned the graphic settings to Low and somehow 5-10 minutes of playing this game makes me phone really hot. Honkai Star Rail doesn’t even do that to my phone. Just badly optimized it seems like. Have never had an idle game do that to my phone. As far as gameplay goes, it’s pretty bare. The way you roll for heroes and gear is weird to me. Just not a huge fan overall. Going to give it some time since I’m an Invincible fan but if nothing changes I don’t see myself playing for long. Edit: Dropping this down to a 1 star. Devs responded to me about the heating issue saying I should turn my setting to Low. Clearly they don’t actually read feedback. Game is now super boring. Resources come way too slowly during idle and you get very little from actually playing once you reach a certain point. Of course that point is also when you need them the most to level character since it’s when you start getting beat or get close to being beat. Game is just a cash grab. ✓ Good, but buggyIn my original review I gave 4 stars. Had to dock a star for unbelievable bugginess right now. The game itself is good, and the content updates are great, but you need to fix the bugs. I’m having gram rate drops down to a stutter and connectivity issues on your end, not mine. I keep running into a bug where a battle will end in defeat halfway through when half my heroes are still alive. It just happened to me twice in a row in a very difficult fight that I was about to win. It is genuinely progress hurting stuff and must be addressed. I’m gonna keep an eye and if the state improves I will raise the rating. I want to give this game five stars, I really do, but I simply can’t justify it given the circumstances. ✓ Invincible’s going steady ability buggedI was doing some testing and realised that Invincible’s passive ability that is supposed to reduce the teams cooldown by 25% when fighting along side Atom Eve doesn’t actually change the the primary ability cool-downs at all, can you please fix this because it’s very frustrating.Version: 0.13.17

✓ Do not download - New updates ruined a mediocre + gameI played this game for ~ 4 months. Whilst it was obviously still in development, the basic foundations were solid, reliable, and fun. The latest update has destroyed the game. Now the game is: - heavily glitchy and crashes constantly, even when doing basics such as starting an operation. - the rewards system does not accurately track game progress - meaning you will not get the daily/weekly rewards despite completion. - character stats and abilities are no longer accurately described. E.g. atom eve has a shorter ability cool-down than omni man and robot, but my atom eve performs specials after omniman/robot (I have checked active buffs and nerfs and it’s just straight up broken). Don’t get me stated on enemy characters/teams, the ability cool-downs are completely random. - some of the interesting and niche combat strategies have been washed out in favour of generic systems, yielding unfulfilling and intact if gameplay. - the character ability descriptions use poor and nonsensical English (Martian man is 1 good example). It’s disappointing that the developers and product people ignored the existing feedback from early release and pushed though an unvalidated roadmap of poorly constructed updates that apparently have not been QA’d. Despite putting time into getting several characters to epic + I am removing the game..Version: 0.14.7

I was about to purchase invincible but I’m going to see how it plays out for a while longer, Like I said I’m ok with F2P games that are locked behind paywalls, I’ve spent $100s before on a single game throughout time, But $50 on a pack? Or $10 for the MAIN CHARACTER of the story and who the game is named after? That’s wild Ubisoft. I’m a Ubisoft premium member and I’ve always enjoyed the company’s games even when their games have become safe more often than not over time, And would love to support this property to hopefully see it come to consoles, But this is truly a cash grab from what I see so far. Which is a shame, The invincible fan base is strong but we’re not all rich nor dumb enough to plow that on an initial pack. ✓ Decent AFK game with moderate pay wallGame is decently enjoyable. Decent models and graphics. It doesn’t reward players for defeating enemies way above their power level. Some skills and buff have to be amended like Atom Eve’s buff when paired with Rex Splode. We all know they didn’t work out. Skills that are focused on pairing heroes also limit players choices as other pairing don’t give you buffs at all. A focus option need to be added to strategically play to enemies weaknesses. We all know not to prioritize the tank but the game prevents us to steer targeting. It would be more enjoyable if the player is granted more control in strategy. ✓ Way too many issuesFirst off, I have a brand new iPhone 14 pro max and this app drains my battery by 1% every minute. It heats up my phone really hot after 2 minutes even on low settings. Second, the predatory micro transactions are insane. They completely paywalled off Omniman, Invincible and Robot, the 3 most powerful characters in the game. You MUST buy omniman and invincible you can NOT unlock them through playing the game. Terrible. Third, the time it takes to actually do anything because of pop ups is too time consuming. For example, every 2 minutes you can send heroes off to a side mission and when it’s done it takes ~5 seconds for the “GOOD JOB” message to appear and disappear. Why? Who knows. Probably to pad out the time you spend playing. Fourth, they hardly give you any resources at all. It costs upwards of 30k gold at level 10 to level up a character but the missions only give you 3k gold when complete. So you’re eventually put into a situation after a few hours where either you pay for gold to level up your heroes as you won’t be able to complete missions without leveling them up OR spend literal DAYS scraping together enough money to level up your team enough to beat the next mission. Yep, it’s one of THOSE games. Stay far away..Version: 1.0.13
✓ Let downIf all you want is a time eating idle game that very little thought needs to be put into then this game is ok, sadly graphics and animations felt like a big letdown a more cell shaded comic like version would have been so much better then the cheap ps2 era models in this game. Major grind game and some mechanics are good like recruitment but combat very shallow and f2p players beware grinding out new characters come to a halt pretty quick and sad to see characters you want in the hourly rotation show up without any resources. I will give it a little bit more time to see if anything at all makes this worth playing further. Hopefully the devs can turn this game into what it should be. ✓ Beautifully averageBeautiful average with extra greed sprinkled on top. What is this summon system lol literally found a way to add gacha onto gacha which is hilarious. This is an idle game your introduction hero pack is there which is fine but it’s always top up .99 cents get X but in this game it’s top up 9.99. Ran out of upgrade chips ? No worries it will prompt an automatic pop up saying “ view offers “ instead of just telling you your out lol. Extra quality of life to make sure you find your way to the shop. Really guys it makes me sad to be so brutal bc it’s a cool IP and the game is looks fun. The art pops. Let’s not forget that even on low settings the game makes your phone hotter then the sun lol. For reference sure I don’t have a brand new iPhone but I have a 13 pro max which should be able to handle any idle game. ✓ Game is decent but the bugsThe game is a decent time waster, getting characters is easyish but I found that good because I can use the characters I wanted to, so far constantly rewarded for general play which is nice. My only real problem with it is the bugs, having to delete and reinstall so I can rank up is frustrating and the constant connection errors even on wifi and having to wait for it to reload. ✓ Please fix issue with hero rank upWhen you combine heroes to rank up, it makes the newly ranked hero whichever level the hero you put in first is. so my level 140 immortal, because i put it after the level 1, returned to level 1. but my 140 mark just stayed the right level..Version: 1.0.13
✓ Glitches.It’s a really good game. I absolutely love it. However there’s a glitch where you just can’t level up your gear which is really frustrating, especially given that there are missions you simply can’t complete because of this. I also really hope they come out with more characters from the Invincible universe, as it’s pretty darn easy to collect every character available really quickly. Sadly my progress has come to a complete standstill and I cannot get further into the campaign as levelling up my characters now takes a whole day per character. And without being able to progress in the campaign, there’s not really much else to do apart from wait. It also again doesn’t help that I can’t level up my gear! Like I said love the game. And I will continue to play. I just hope there are improvements in terms of the glitches and I hope more characters or even skins to work towards are added. ✓ BugsGood game but so many bugs and issues like trying to claim from certain missions and the game freezes. Gear doesn’t stay permanently ungraded, you upgrade things close the game all gears back at level 1. You’ll do a 4 hour adventure and it’ll say wave 26 reached I just watched then get to wave 26 in three minutes flat so what’s going on the other 3 hours. ✓ Good idea, needs improvement!!Fun game to play, especially after watching the show, however it just lacks what you need to enjoy it long term. There are bugs that need to be fixed (agents journey missing 3/4 the time and some days missions will not show completed after doing them). Also needs a longer story as it just too repetitive. You can join an alliance, but there’s no alliances battles or way to communicate. The concept is good but the actual game is miles behind popular strategy games. ✓ Game keeps freezing and unplayable at this point! Spent over £40 in gameThe GDA was working fine until the recent update and now it won’t let me claim my reward and keeps freezing me on the loading screen after clicking the claim button. It’s been playing up for over 3/4 days now. And now it’s impacted me being able to rank my players up as I can’t collect them from the GDA! Even when I try to rank my Atom Eve up the game freezes again too! Does this genuinely mean I cannot go past the same impossible mission I been stuck on for ages!!!??? ✓ Bugs galoreInvincible guardians of the good be is a great time waster and very easy to get into, gameplay is simple and fun at the beginning of the game, you quickly realise that you will need to spend money to progress at a pace that any normal person would enjoy. None the less it is a fun, simple and slightly addictive game. However the game is riddled with bugs that will break the game and kill the fun, I personally have a glitch where I cannot claim a GDA op and it just freezes and kicks me out of the game, that, and another where I try to level up my flaxan and again the game crashes, this happens every time. ✓ Can’t Rank up anymoreThe rank up feature was just removed without any warning or explanation. Can’t rank up missing or heroes. So can’t progress at all. The new event that is “supposed” to give you heroes! Just glitches and forces a restart of the game and when it restarts the heroes you had gathered after 12 hours are gone. There are so many bugs and problems that on top of the already watered down and weak “gameplay” if you can even call it that. Is just a boring game. Fix the game. Fix the bugs. Give notice on removing important features. Give us reasons and information. And I want the event fixed and the heroes I gather to be given. Unacceptable..Version: 0.12.10
✓ Potential, but hollowUnfortunately this game feels like a clone of other autobattler idle games. It has one unique feature in that you can run multiple idle battles at once for currencies, and rank those sources up. However, all of the itemization and upgrading feels almost pointless: the scaling of stats is so slight that a level 119 doesn’t really feel enormously different from a level 1 character. The gear is marginally better per rarity tier, but enhancing also provides relatively small benefit. The hero skills have such weak payoffs too. “5% resistance against one specific enemy type”? Wow how heroic and compelling for gameplay. In an idle game where management of the roster and choices for optimization is usually the main source of strategic interaction, it feels like there is zero strategy to put into practice aside from only leveling up the highest rarity heroes and using the rest as fodder. There is no clear way you can decide to deliberately make, for example, a healer or tank that relies on HP have a significant amount of extra health (perhaps with a tradeoff of not having more balanced stats like DEF or even ATK). Or to make a crit focused hero. To specialize in skill cooldown… There is also no apparent way to reset and return invested materials from a hero. This feels like a game about power fantasy (superheroes!) minus any real sense of power except for the animations, which are good. Devs need to actually play and analyse the player choices available in other games like Onmyoji or Heir of Light (1) which are both derived from the ancient Summoner’s War (which have gear sets and thus build diversity), or else this is just a themed way to destroy your battery life and overheat your phone. I am not a dev but my guess is they didn’t build in any framerate limiter so actually a more recent device will render unlimited frames. How do I know? I have suggested the same thing to maybe three different studios across the past years (all using Unity) and lo and behold: adding in 15, 30, 60fps limits inside in-game quality settings fixes things. Dialogue and story is, to me, very underwhelming. I don’t know the IP and so I am not already invested, but the way it is presented makes it feel more like an obstacle to progress rather than enriching about the lore or personality of characters. Instead of the usual tap to progress text why not present I don’t know… a page of comics/graphic novel style art? Or speech bubbles over top of letting the combat progress? I was not invested into my lacklustre hero choices so I did a wipe and restart of my account to see if I can make an experimental team build using multiples of the same rare hero, which should be easier to obtain copies of and tier up. A lot of key skills are locked behind tier levels, so a healer might do no actual “support” with their primary skill… this all needs to be reassessed because otherwise it further diminishes the importance or interest in making a deliberate team… just level up the highest rarity you have. Maybe even focus on attack power only, since heals / tanking abilities without fully unlocking other skills are so insignificant in the early game, and you want levels on many heroes at the start just to improve your farming yield from the passive income timed missions. If you are designing an idle game it means that it is inherently a hero and team and equipment manager. If you make those elements uninteresting or there are few real decisions to make (ie: no real managing) the whole endeavour is less compelling. At worst, it feels like a pointless chore. There is also no post-battle damage/heal/dmg sustained analysis, which is always valuable for those seeking empirical feedback on progression, team comp, and those management decisions. TLDR: has potential but is a poor clone of other afk idle autobattlers. Ironic in a game full of clones. Can be saved if skills, items and the sense of power scaling is dramatically retuned..Version: 1.0.13
✓ Decent but what else is there?After less than a week of playing I have unlocked every character, what incentive is there to keep playing? The game does not give me a tangible reason to bother upgrading them further except for doing so just for the sake of it. The ‘gameplay’ if you can call it that is not engaging enough to keep me playing. There is so little content it is baffling but what is there is pretty good. I don’t know why they decided on the current gameplay loop either rather than a turn based game like most do. ✓ Pay To WinThe game itself seems ok. Not a lot of characters yet which I get because it’s new. But once you get to around level 39, it becomes obvious it’s a pay to win or grind for weeks to move up. That’s a shame because Invincible is an incredible comic. The gameplay itself is also ridiculously unbalanced. I have literally gotten defeated 2 times without upgrading but tried again and won against the boss battles without moving characters or moving clothing or anything. I’m hoping this will all be ironed out soon. Not much strategy at the moment. Just grind until you can level up and move people around. Or spend money and get the characters you want. And I’m not paying for something that is literally just going to do nothing but get me through a few levels. I don’t mind grinding away at something, but this already smells like it just wants your money. I could be wrong. Hopefully I’m wrong and it’s fixed. Respective characters along Black Samson and Kursk should be Elite, Damien Darkblood does what????; Omni Man should be outside of elite and considered the next rarity for obvious reasons. Gore Feature, Lore Respected Characters; Customizable characters. A little more to the rewards since it’s already peachy, this will be a game paid and enjoyed; also importantly it’s best if bugs are kept minimal..Version: 1.0.13
